I'm not sure if this question has already been answered before but on what occasions do the NRC students wear their Ceremonial Robes? (Outside of an awarding like in Deuce's SR vignette.) Do they just wear it once every school year like in the Opening Ceremonies? 🤔

NRC students primarily wear the magic-infused robes for special occasions. Like Examples of such events are the new student orientation (seen in the prologue), large assemblies (Jack’s and Sebek’s Ceremonial Robes), awards ceremonies (Deuce’s Ceremonial Robes), and the Student Club Fair (Lilia’s Ceremonial Robes, Riddle’s Ceremonial Robes).

Students also generally wear the robes for formal occasions where they have to represent the school to parties from outside NRC; this is because the robes themselves are iconic and are so synonymous with NRC. (In Rook’s Ceremonial Robes, Vil describes the outfit as such: “Our ceremonial robes are emblematic of this school. They are not to be worn carelessly.”) They also seem to just be a piece of clothing people can choose to whip out and wear when it suits them though.

Examples of this include Silver’s Ceremonial Robes (he tells Idia he’s wearing the robes because they’re dark and help him blend into the night) and Ruggie’s Ceremonial Robes (where he and the staff wear them while working at the Mostro Lounge and serving primarily female customers from the nearby town). There’s also, more explicitly, Floyd’s Ceremonial Robes, where he, Kalim, and others dress in them while entertaining guests from the Scalding Sands Department of Education, and Vil’s Ceremonial Robes, where Jack states: “Apparently, a buncha bigwigs are comin' to the school, which is why we all had to change into our robes and gather out here.”

Related: With the reveal of more Clubwear for the athletic clubs (the Basketball Club and Track and Field Club), we can glean that purple and black are the "school colors" for NRC. This is also reflected in the Ceremonial Robes!

Grim gives you login rewards during the Anniversary period, and you get “Bonus Item Drops” during Lessons.

Grim SR Ceremonial Robes is available for free when playing the Anniversary Event Story, you will get the Limited Card to start levelling him up after the Chapter.1 then you will get the permanent card after having collected 500 Yellow Tuna Cans and finished the Chapter.2, and you can Groooovy him after the 18th.

About the Mirror Gacha Banners :

we get 2 times (event start, 16.Mar and 18.Mar) a special free 10-pulls on the Permanent Banner, woohoo! This banner can only be used during the Event so MAKE SURE TO USE YOUR 10-KEYS THERE. Also this banner accumulates pulls you made on the Permanent Banner before the Anniversary and extra pulls you do on all Dorm SSRs (see below) so it’s quicker to get to the 100th-guaranteed SSR.

the Anniversary Banner features all Dorm SSRs including Malleus (but his Drop Rate is better on hid dedicated banner if you want him) and each pull gives you a 3-medal to exchange at the Shop,

Also Sam’s Shop got a relooking, there is a new kind of 200th-guaranteed-SSR gauge for Characters and Event Banners, and the GuestRoom has a couple new functions such as giving out the keys to your preferred characters and crafting the Card CGs (regular and Groooovy) of the SSRs you own more than once (with duplicates of Perfumes).

Another new feature for SSR cards is a 3rd Magic Spell unlocking at the 3rd time you maxed them (with duplicates or perfumes).

For Basic Tests: The list of recommended cards will work better if you keep in mind their DUO potential with SSR cards.

For Defense Tests: Always consider Healers for your team. It is always better to heal on 1st magic of Turn 3 or 5. If you use Continuous Heal, heal on Turn 1 or 2 but watch out for Curse.

For Attack Tests: Firepower!! DUOs are good, but depending on your cards, it may be more beneficial to use cards with buffs than weaker DUOs.

Riddle: He didn’t even come after I gave him a good scolding… how incompetent. I worry for the students that have to deal with a dorm leader this unreliable. They have my deepest of sympathies.

Vil: Hah… I expected it would turn out this way. Almost too expected, honestly, there was hardly any glitz or fanfare to this finale at all.

(The sound of students whispering among the crowd)

Ignihyde Mob A: Hey… Do you know who’s supposed to be our new dorm leader? I don’t see him anywhere.

Ignihyde Mob B: I think it’s supposed to be that guy in the tablet. Right there, the one that called us over here.

Ignihyde Mob A: You sure though? I heard Idia Shroud was supposed to be here, and I don’t see him anywhere. That couldn’t possibly be him, right?

Phobos: …and so it begins.

Ben: Huh-hm? How what begins?

Ignihyde Mob B: Look around, all the dorm heads are at the front of their group, and the tablet’s in line with everyone else. So that has to be our dorm head. Ignihyde Mob B: If that's our dorm head, then doesn't that mean that's Idia...? Why isn't he actually here, you think?

Ignihyde Mob C: Haahh… what a letdown. Of course, we have to have the one dorm head that didn’t even show up in person. That’s a bad omen for sure.

Ben: Ahhh… Yeah, you called it, alright. Ben: Doesn't sound like they're causing problems yet, but... just keep an ear on ‘em 'til we get back to home base. Ben: The crowd will be thinner back at the dorm, since it will just be all us Ignihydes. When he gives them a welcome face-to-face then, I’m sure they’ll calm down.

Phobos: You put too much faith in our “brave leader”, Ben.

Ben: I wouldn’t call it faith, SMH. At this point I’m either deluding myself for a pipe dream or praying for a miracle. Probably a mix of both.

Phobos: Hmph… Only time will tell, but I have a feeling with this mood Idia’s in, we’re in for a shitshow when we get back, too.

Idia (Tablet): Here we are, at the “ever illustrious” Ignihyde dorm, based on the diligent nature of the King of the Underworld.

Ben: He's still not showing up in person...? He's not planning on giving the whole opening welcome like that... right?

Idia: Welcome to your school life for the rest of your stay here. Dark, gloom, and doom, and that's about it. You're all pretty unfortunate to be sorted here out of all the dorms, but it's whatever. You'll get used to it. Idia: If you have any questions about the dorm, look it up yourselves on the school website. It's kept pretty up to date and should have all the information you need. Idia: Unlike you newbies, I have a pretty right ship I have to run. Unless it's an emergency, try not to go out of your way to bother me. I have my vice dorm heads here for a reason. Idia: Anyway, to further welcome you to the dorm and get you all situated with your new living situations, I have my second in command here on standby to assist. Idia: Take it awaaaaayyy, Ben.

Idia: Well… that was a little more intense than I thought day one would go. Looks like they finally quieted down for a change though. GG, Phobos.

Ben: Heheheh... I don't usually get to see him whip out his U.M. on somebody so publicly like this~ Ben: That coulda been a lot more fatal if he wanted it to be. You lot should be grateful you're first years. Next time, he might not be so forgiving~

Idia: I hate how much you enjoy watching him do that... if one of them actually dies because of him, I'm the one that has to clean up the mess... Idia: A-Anyway... it’s customary for each dorm to host a “welcoming feast” on night one, so that’s what we’re doing after the room assignment event's done. Idia: Catering should be here soon enough, so lets get this done and over with. Ben, you have the card keys, right?

Ben: Yeah, I got 'em right here. Ben: Alright, lets get this started! Whenever either me or Idia call your name from our list, come up and we’ll give you a map of the dorm layout and the card key for your dorm room. Ben: First on the list, we have…

(Time passes as the room quiets down, and the crowd begins to dissipate)

Phobos: Haah... Finally, some peace and quiet.

Ortho: Phobos Banner, may I have a word with you?

Phobos: ...What do you need?

Ortho: I just wanted to say thank you!

Phobos: Huh?

Ortho: Before, when you lectured my brother about his appearance to the ceremony… your words were harsh, but you spoke from a place of caring.

Phobos: The hell gave you that idea?

Ortho: You put a lot of importance onto the first impression of the newest members of our dorm, and on the memories they’ll be making when they arrive here. Ortho: You didn’t want them to have a bad first day; you wanted them to feel welcomed and optimistic when they came here. That shows you really do care about our dorm members and their time here at Night Raven College. Ortho: Though you were a bit rough with the first years when they began to revolt, you still acted only to incapacitate them temporarily, not to permanently injure them. Ortho: That resistance shows that you still care for them, and my brother's reputation, too.

Phobos: Tch… don’t get the wrong idea. Phobos: I don’t care about their time here… how they spend their life is none of my business. Phobos: I’m just not interested in some new blood getting cocky, causing problems, and trying to walk all over us upperclassmen. That’s all it is.

Ortho: Increased heart rate and sudden flushing of facial features. Abnormality in vital signs detected.

Phobos: S-Stop scanning my bio-readings! Ugh… Phobos: Just… tell Idia I’ll be waiting for my “payment” for taking care of things tonight. I’m going back to my room.

Ortho: Hehehe~ I’ll make sure to have him treat you well for all your hard work.

🌌SR Ceremony Robe uniform Grim Story.

•Grim and MC is having take a break time in Ramshackle dorm after done decorating their dorm while waiting others to come visits.

•Grim never thought that Ceremonial dark mirror is really tired than his expected. He did fall asleep during Dire Crowley's speech on opening ceremony mirror. Even Leona fall asleep too.

•Grim got special seats in dorm leaders spot, although some students did warn MC about it but MC didn't care (maybe because MC and Grim didn't have official dorm or MC doesn't have a magic). Grim did greets to new students like real dorm leader.

•MC also greets with new students but much more socially, Grim did pouty face see how Vil's greet to new students as always like Queen's do in ceremony mirror. All pomefiore students admire of Vil's charisma while Rook stood up beside him and gave him applause.

•Ortho did dragged MC and Grim to join ceremony mirror with others. Grim was little nervous since he can't forget the past when he interrupt the ceremony on try steal MC's ceremony robe in coffin. But everything is better now like no one remember that past.

•Idia did join ceremony mirror too since he do this for Ortho. Ortho did shouts "My big brother is cool, right?" when Ortho talk about Ignihyde dorm along recording ceremony mirror moment too. Like usual, Idia still use his flying tablet/iPad to help him on communication with new students.

•Trey did surprising Lilia during ceremony mirror by mimic Lilia's word. Lilia flails when Trey did that to him as payback. Grim did whining at Trey when Trey make lies that he won't make sweets food for Grim on this 3rd anniversary. Like always, Trey loves to tease everyone he closes same goes Lilia too.

•Malleus did upset that everyone is forgotten him again on mirror ceremony when Malleus appear between two Mirror. “You forgotten to invite me, didn't you?...” Malleus said sound deep causing the weather messy. Lilia just laugh see everyone scared of him. Good thing Cater help calming down Malleus right away.

•At the end, MC praise and advice Grim to become independent magician like others if Grim graduate. Grim also told MC that someday, he and MC can make a duo magic in the future once Grim become the greatest wizard in world. "No matter what, even you don't have a magic, we always stick together. Lets make a great memories, MC!"

Home Transition 1: I saw Lilia and Trey studying together. Surprisingly, Lilia was the one teaching Trey instead of the other way round. Isn't that surprising?

Home Transition 2: Ortho was so happy when I told him that his ceremonial robes looking gear outfit looks really cool on him, he gave me a tuna can! I should praise him more.

Home Transition 3: Tsunotaro is just a dude with horns, right? Somehow he looked really happy when you told him that you weren't afraid of him.

Home Transition (Login Greeting): Cool isn't it?! There's no one who fits in this  college's ceremonial robes better than me!

Home Transition (After Groovy): If I do end up falling asleep during the ceremony... You gotta snore even louder to cover me up! you got that?    

Home Tap 1: Idia approached me with this scary grin on his face so I quickly hid behind Cater to avoid him. It was super effective!  

Home Tap 2: Why does Leona dread Rook so much? Is it because Rook got hold of his weakness....? If that's the case, I'm calling dips too!  

Home Tap 3: You think I smell nice? That's because Vil forced me to take a bath... Even though I do properly groom myself!  

Home Tap 4: Hey, take a picture of me. Huh, why? That's because you want to put it up on Ramshackle dorm, right? What a troublesome underling I have~

I have an obsession with Idia's ceremonial robes groovy. The way he's laying and how he has no socks on. Everything about it screams cuddle time! I can just imagine spooning into him and tangling our legs and using my feet to play with his and pressing my face into his back.

I feel like I physically cannot shut up about how excited I am for the Diasomnia book. I've been here since all we had was that one Malleus promo pic.

When all we had was the name of the dormitories and the villains they were based on.

I was on the official website everyday refreshing the page to see if they had finally released the characters' profiles.

When the first glimpse we got of the relationship between the Dia boys was that one illustration Yana Toboso made for the release of Maleficent 2.

I was one of the people screaming and crying and throwing up because the Diasomnia students' SR Ceremonial Robes cards didn't even exist yet, so I had to choose Idia as my first card 😭

It took a while but we're finally here 🌻

It's been an honor to experience the journey so far with you guys 🫂

UPDATED: Idia Shroud - Top 7 Card Arts

I was initially planning to wait longer on doing more of these, but I decided it would be a good idea to at least polish off the dorm heads (for now). So...here w go again. Just so you all know, Kalim’s will be posted tomorrow. ;) Just like with my previous spotlights, and like all future entries, I won’t be going into detail as to WHY all of these pieces of art are my favorites. This is largely because most of what I could say can be summed up as, “It looks cool (or cute),” or “I think it shows something about the character,” or both. It’s just going to be the rankings, titles, and images. Most of the art featured in these spotlights will come from SSRs and SR Groovies; there will be exceptions on some entries, but I don’t think there are any for this one. Simply put, these are the Seven Card Arts I think of first when I think of the Housewarden of Ignihyde. Why Seven? Well, why not? Also, keep in mind that as time goes on, this ranking may be changed or updated, since new Cards are being added to game frequently. SR Grim Ceremonial Robe Personal Story: Part 1

"Together like this forever."

Part 1 (Part 2)

[Ramshackle Dorm –  Anniversary Party]

Grim: Maan, that crazy long ceremony's finally over…

Grim: The Headmaster's speech was longer'n usual, bleh. How can he talk that much?

But weren't you sleeping the whole time anyway?

Grim: That's ‘cause I'm not interested in anythin' boring.

Grim: 'Sides, I wasn't the only one sleeping during the Founding Day Ceremony.

Grim: Leona was over there, totally passed out.

Grim: Since he's a Dorm Leader, he had to sit in the special row up at the front, but he still just napped through it…

Grim: And you saw how he ignored it when anyone tried to tell him off, right? So I did way better than him.

Grim: ...And when it came to the Dorm Leader greetings, all he said to everyone was "Glad you all could make it. That is all."

Grim: I know I hate long speeches, but that was waaay too short. I wonder why'd they let him get away with that?

Grim: On the other hand, Vil's speech wasn't too long, and it wasn't too short. It was juuust right. But…

Grim: When he was saying, "This year, we all should strive to not bring shame to our standing as a Night Raven Collect student!" he had that really scary look on his face.

Grim: But all the Pomefiore guys were just star-struck, hanging on to each of Vil's words.

Grim: Like Rook, when Vil finished his speech, he just stood up and applauded.

Grim: Vil looked like he didn't really like it, saying "Don't be so dramatic," but Rook didn't care at all…

Grim: He just threw flowers onto the stage Vil was standing on.

Grim: And maybe he didn't throw flowers for the other Dorm Leaders, but each time, he'd shoutout, "Beauté!"…

Grim: And he just kept going on and on praising them with real big and difficult words. How can he even come up with all those things to say?

He really livened up the ceremony.

Grim: You think…? Rook's a real weird guy.

Grim: Ah. But if we're talking weird, there's Idia, too.

Grim: There was a tablet on his chair, so I thought he wasn't gonna show up, but then…

Grim: Just as the ceremony was about to start, did you see how Ortho was dragging him in? I couldn't stop laughing!

Grim: He was flailing, all, "I don't wanna!" but then Ortho said somethin' to him, and he calmed down after a while.

Grim: Then he curled up on his chair and didn't look up once, but hey, at least he sat up front, I guess.

Grim: …And it looks like he just played a recording for his speech.

Grim: But Ortho just looked so happy, yanno. I was sitting near him, and…

Grim: He'd just keep boasting, saying, "Isn't my brother cool!?" I don't see it!

Grim: Me 'n a few others were snickering about it, and all of a sudden, there was this purple light on Ortho's collar that started to glow…

Grim: Some kinda countdown started, it kinda scared me!

Grim: Everybody else also freaked, so we all said sorry, and it disappeared, but… What was that countdown for, you think?

Might be better to not think about it…

Grim: You're probably right…

It's my precious boys' birthday, so that's means it's time to get some new SSRs. I've got over 200 pulls saved, but a lot of them are single keys so I really hope I don't actually have to go to pity for both of them.

Last year I had the most stupidly amazing luck, but even if they somehow come home really quickly again it won't be that crazy, since there isn't another showcase I plan on putting the leftovers towards.

I started with Floyd last time, so let's go with Jade.

I didn't screenshot it (since I just don't bother with the R cards, but there were two school uniform Idias in a row)

After that and a bunch of other Rs, we have the first SR of the day.

And hey, here's Idia again, now in SR form.

One ten pull down, (hopefully less then) 19 to go!

Leona's the first labwear of the day.

Then we're right back to ceremonial robes.
