Winter is coming.. but eventually summer returns too! Here's a throwback to a summer fit I wore in August this year. I've thrifted the dark raspberry pink skirt with the floral print and immediately knew how I wanted to style it as a dress. Here you can see how I did it for the first wear!

Outfit rundown:

a sleeveless raspberry pink top,

the dark raspberry pink skirt-worn-as-a-dress on top,

a patchwork skirt as an additional layer worn underneath the skirt-dress

and a dark green crocheted sleeveless cardigan/vest with a hood worn on top.

For accessories I'm wearing a simple knotted necklace with a pentagram charm, a big felted leaf hair accessory as a brooch on top of the skirt-dress and a flower in my hair (on top of my braid, so you can't see it in the forwards facing pictures).

I really like interesting geometrical pattern the sun has painted on the ground in the picture and how the mirroring function has highlighted the sun pattern even more!

Equally, you can see the colour change on the felt leaf: it's a mixed green-into-blue colour with iridescent beads embroidered on! My braid looks very soft in this picture (it is!) and gets highlights from the sun. The pentagram charm necklace is also shown close-up in this picture, as well as the dark green crocheted vest. i just had a dream where i had been yard sale shopping at someones house, and they had this big cardboard box full of N64 games, and on the box had the writing "3 games have water damage" and listed the serial numbers for each cartridge rather than listing the names. anyway i don't remember a lot of the cartridges names beyond one clearly being "Super Mario 64 DS", which even in the dream i was confused by. within the box was another mario title that was similar to mario pinball and mario golf, and came with a miniature set you had to put together and included little fence posts you had to click into the board to ensure the marble wouldn't fall out during play.

anyway so im curious about a lot of these N64 games, since ive never heard of them, and i wanted to see if they were custom or bootlegs. a seperate family at the sale is looking at a miniature house of sorts as im pulling out my phone to look up the names of these games. im not even able to type anything in before i hear two giant concrete cylinders hit the floor from just around the corner of the basement. that's right. the mother fucking waterwraith appeared

Murol Salers Beef Burgers

Another tasty lunch made with delicious local produce, these Murol Salers Beef Burgers are a mouth-watering celebration of the generous terroir here, abundant in meat and cheeses, both full of character!

Ingredients (serves 2):

300 grams/10.5 ounces Salers Beef Mince (or other very good beef mince, like Angus)

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper

60 grams/2 ounces Murol Cheese

a drizzle of olive oil

In a medium bowl, season Salers Beef Mince with salt and black pepper. Gently toss with clean hands to mix.

Cut Murol Cheese into thick slices.

Divide Salers Beef mixture into two portions, and form two patties, wrapping each around a slice of Murol.

Heat a frying pan over a high flame.

Drizzle both cheese-stuffed patties with olive oil, and rub them gently. Add to the frying pan, and cook, about 3 minutes on one side. 

Flip on the other side, and reduce heat to medium. Cook, another 4 or 5 minutes until cooked through.

Serve Murol Salers Beef Burgers with dressed lettuce, on their on or onto Cranberry Dinner Rolls, to make hamburgers...
