Now Jason would like it known that there was no mpreg situation going on. He isn’t even sure where people got that idea in the first place. Sure, he had taken a few Cores from the goons-in-white who had dared to set up in his turf. 

And sure maybe the excess energy from the pit (no wonder he’d been so irritable) was what said baby halfas (Okay, so they’re half human? Alright) had used to reform. And maybe the oldest is visibly less than a year old. 

But there Was No Mpreg Situation! He is this close to shooting someone! It was annoying (and slightly amusing) when it was just his goons, but now the Bats have seemingly got it in their heads! Dear Gotham it’s a good thing he’s not planning on like, ever revealing who he is because he would never be able to live this rumor down.

Solar & Jack!!

(My au)

Solar has a patch for each person he cares about as well as just some random ones.

Star patch- Moon

Striped patch- Sun

Crescent moon- Lunar

Flower patch- Earth

Shark parch- Ruin (before the dimensional collapse occurred.) (he doesn’t take it off when he comes back.)

Solar also has his Suns ribbon wrapped around his neck, he refuses to take it off.

This design of Solar is also before he ‘died’, I will be making a new one for when he comes back.

Jack doesn’t understand emotions very well and with him slowly becoming more sentient he gets overwhelmed easily, he often thinks he’s glitching because of this and tends to hide away from others.

Jack has a collection of toys that, asides from one, he hides in an abandoned room in the Pizzaplex, he thinks they’ll be taken off him.

This is the story of Jacks favourite Plushie-

The Plushie Jack carries around is a Black Cat plushie called Pumpkin. Solar threw it to distract him thinking he would destroy it like the crisp packets and such. Instead Jack just picked it up and began observing it before being to play with it like a child would.

It confused Solar and he considered going through Jacks programming before deciding not to as it got Jack to sit still… for 6 hours straight. Solar had to take the plush off him just to get him to go charge, he also had to promise to give it back after.

Each day was relatively the same after that, Solar gave Jack the plush cat, Jack played with it- every so often throwing a new activity in along with it -and Solar could get on with his work, then when it got late he’d take the toy from Jack and send him off to charge. Pretty simple routine.

Then once when Solar was working Jack came in, without the plushie, seemingly upset. He quickly learned Jack had lost it and was panicking. He quickly check every where Jack had been and got up to check each area. He eventually found it in the theatre, on one of the chairs. He returned it to Jack who immediately cuddled the thing and followed him back to where he had been working, sitting down a few feet away.

Jack hesitated to give Solar the toy after this, so Solar made sure promise that he’d take good care of it. When he finally got it and Jack had, begrudgingly, went off to charge, he went down to parts & service and placed a tracker in the plushie.

Now anytime Jack looses it Solar just checks the tracker and returns it to Jack.

Only Solar knew of Pumpkin and that it had a tracker in it.

“I did an oopsie.” 

Clockwork paused in his work, gaze turning from his work towards his ghostling (it didn’t matter if he was an adult, he’d always be his ghostling) who was smiling nervously, avoiding his eyes. 

“Oh?” He kept his tone light, even as he worked on untangling a time knot. Honestly at least Danny was immune to any effect of time, even if he couldn’t look into his timelines in exchange. It came with being the other half of Infinity. 

“Yeeah… you know that corner of the multiverse you told me not to go to because you’re working on some time problems? I might have stumbled into one of the worlds in the corner…” 

He stopped his machinations, fully turning towards Danny- Space, his Core whispered and quivered in utter delight at having an Equal in power- with a raised eyebrow, leaning on his staff and silently telling him to explain. 

Danny poked his fingers together, giving a nervous laugh. “So uh, I was just exploring right? Well me and Ellie, you know how she gets when she can’t wander, and um… I er, we might have messed with some things in the creation of it… I didn’t know it was part of that universe, I swear! It was so far at the fringes and halfway into the Zone and I couldn’t just let a universe die before it began and-”

Oh- Oh! His ghostling (and his grand-ghostlings it sounded like) had claimed his first universe! He could put off these time knots, this was a grand milestone for any Ancient, nevermind such a primordial force as one of theirs.

And this is how a DC world came into being with humans evolving with more avian traits. Like wings. And claws. Look, Dan thought it’d be funny if they gave baby humanity wings and Ellie started rambling about how much farther they could travel if they had them and Danny thought it could be cool. Oh well, time to keep an eye on their itty baby world now…

Part 3 of "we'd make cute babies" ○ @sensei-venus

It actually took months before Reader gots pregnant. It was fun though because she and Hawk fuck like rabbits, all the fucking time. She ended up moving into his apartment and that gave them a lot more time to "make their cute babies." It became a little inside jokes between them and always made Reader giggle whenever it came up.

When they found out they were gonna have a baby, they were so excited. They had a celebratory dinner and gentle love making followed. He held her and kissed her after, long and sweet and full of love. "I still can't believe this is real... I'm having a kid with my best friend. That's the best feeling ever."

Not long after finding out they were pregnant, Hawk and Reader learn that Sam and Miguel were going to have a kid too. Reader and Sam gushed about it and giggled, making plans for their kids to be friends and have play dates and whatnot. Hawk and Miguel are kind of sidelined as the ladies bask in having a shared pregnancy experience. It's super cute though so the guys can't even be mad.

They share a lot of stuff, including sonogram pictures and going shopping. They've even planned to have a shared pregnancy photoshoot together. Miguel and Hawk joke They're secretly in love with each other, which prompts Reader to pounce Hawk and shower him with kisses. She becomes so lovey dovet while pregnant and he's absolutely loving her attention.

Then they learn that Reader is having twins and everything gets ramped up even more. She’s so excited. Her belly fat turns into a bump faster than expected due to all the space the twins need. Sam loves it and says all the time how she can't wait to have a bump. In the meantime, they start making cute little scrapbooks together of their pregnancies. Hawk and Miguel have so many pictures of them sitting together making an absolute mess of craft supplies. They love all the pictures of their girlfriends together, especially when they're bump to bump, which is just so cute.

They even help work on each other's nurseries. The guys help of course but they mostly build the furniture while the ladies paint the rooms. Hawk bought himself and Reader a nice little house when they found out they were having twins. When it was just one baby, the apartment was fine but it wasn't bit enough for twins. So they paint the twins' nursery dual tones; Reader is covered in yellow paint and Sam has somehow gotten green handprints all over her overalls. The next day they go to Sam and Miguel's house to paint the nursery for their little boy; it's going to be blue with black accents. The guys get so good at building furniture they're convinced they could build anything and the ladies are not so convinced.

As the months go by, they have their baby showers and photoshoots. They do their joint photoshoot and then their individual ones. Then Reader is so big, she needs a little more rest than Sam. So Sam comes over to her and Hawk's house a lot.

She's actually there when Reader goes into labor a few days before she was supposed to go to the hospital. The guys are at work and so it's up to Sam to take Reader to the hospital. Being the badass she is, Sam gets her there of course. Some of the hospital staff are a little surprised that a pregnant lady brought another pregnant lady to the hospital but nevertheless get them a room. Sam is by her side until Hawk gets there. Miguel is right behind him, nervous because he doesn't want the stress of the situation to send Sam into early labor but she's cool as a cucumber. She's fine.

A few hours later, Reader and Hawk have two cute babies. The cutest babies ever.

The hospital bed isn't all that big but it's big enough that Hawk can lay beside Reader with their daughter laid on his chest while Reader has their son laid on hers. They're such a cute couple and Sam makes sure to take a lot of pictures of them together when she and Miguel are let back into the room.

Hawk and Reader are just happy to have their little family and those cute little babies he promised her.

And in a few weeks, theor babies are gonna have their first friend 💖

Vimes. So, Snuff. Oh god Vimes. My man decided to get training in raising a teenager a few years ahead of having one of his own. Just in case. Vimes sees someone younger than him, asks 'is anyone gonna care for this child' and doesn't wait for an answer.

I love him and Feeney together so much. This kid comes to his house to arrest him and he (sort of) goes along with it, even if he thinks the reason is bullshit. He lets him have some authority, but doesn't hesitate to tell him when he's wrong or do his own thing – but he still gives him the option to choose what he thinks is the right approach, whether he agrees or not. He brings him to the goblin cave, but the second he realises Feeney can't see, he wants to lead him back out and come back inside by himself. He guides him along, but doesn't make decisions for him. He trusts his knowledge on things Vimes doesn't know about (boats. just... boats. what the fuck is up with this man and boats. he is lost). He is so proud this kid respects his mum. When he sees Feeney has things handled, he doesn't jump in to take over. He still helps or takes the lead when needed.

This is not something new, either. Vimes is good at... Well, parenting. He takes Carrot under his wing, screw that Carrot is twice his size and already has parents. He and Angua don't get along at first, but later develop more of a father-daughter relationship. He sees grubby baby Nobby in Night Watch and gives him food and treats him as someone capable of making his own decisions and taking care of himself and as a person, when hardly anyone does. He is protective of Cheery and will fight anyone who insults her with bare hands and teeth.

He doesn't shy away from sharing what he knows. He tells people. He won't hesitate to give a long speech or a short demonstration to teach people better. He'll teach them to walk. He is good at teaching them to walk.

Sammies, too – they are all in contact with him, weeks, months, years after leaving Ankh-Morpork. When he runs into one of his Watchmen abroad, they are happy to see him. He couldn't have that much of a hand in their training, he is a busy man, he hardly recognizes half of his Watchmen these days; but it was still enough for them to like him, even outside of the 'oh my god it's commander vimes he's my hero' thing that starts happening by later books.

All of this, without taking into account Young Sam. Or the dad jokes.

On the note of Sammies, I know Sammies are the Watchmen trained in Ankh-Morpork that go abroad but. Look. Feeney is a Sammy to me.
