Unique(Soft/Odd AOT Headcannons)

Uhhh so i finally finished AOT and that ending absolutely wrecked me and I cant stop thinking about it sweet jesus. So, here are some nice lil headcannons to fix my soul lmao. ALSO if you have sent anything through my ask box please know it is in the works and most of them are just incomplete drafts! Thank you for your patience! Anyway,

Enjoy!

Eren

-Eren gets sick surprisingly often. It's very odd. You'd think he would be immune to shit like that but it's not very often he's not somewhat 'sick'

-Like, he always has congestion,and when it clears up its only for a week or two before its back to square one.

-He has three birthmarks on his lower back and they look like the little shocked emoticon

-He can touch his tongue tot he tip of his nose.

- When Eren gets flustered you can see it on his knuckles and the back of his neck.

-Eren is double jointed

Armin

-Armin had reading glasses he keeps in a case in his pocket at all times.

-Armins eyes look almost clear when you look at them in the right angle/amout of sunlight

-He has a very pretty singing voice, and he does it only when he's very deeply focused on something.

-He has very pretty hand writting, in fact a lot of his comrades ask for him to write things down for them because its so neat.

-He has very soft and slender hands and his fingertips get red when he's cold

-Armins hair actually has a bit of a curl to it but it flattens in the heat

-Hes very good with plants/gardening

Mikasa

-Picked up embroidering and will occasionally dabble, reminds her of her mom

-Mikasa has a very high body temperature, she is never cold and just constantly warm, she tends to have sweaty palms as well

-Very rarely will you be able to see Mikasa's pupils because her eyes are so dark and her pupils are always very dilated.

-She smells faitly sweet. Always has, can't pinpoint exactly why but it is definitely a thing she has noticed.

-Mikasa has a few grey hairs, there are about 4-5 and are spaced out in her hair but when you find one its not hard to miss because of the contrast.

-She really fucking likes bread...like a lot.

Reiner

-Has pretty poor balance. He is always mis-stepping or leaning, its like his equilibrium is off.

-Doesn't really like his facial hair but doesn't go out of his way to trim it, can never seem to find the time or motivation

-Reiners hands are very large, like very wide. There's a lot of things that look a lot smaller in his hands compared to everyone else.

-Lactose intolerant

-Reiner often gets the chills/goosebumps

-Is kinda embarassed about his big his but is...like sometimes he struggles to get his pants up and has to jump to get them on.

Bertoldt

-Will forget to duck down before he goes into a room and will his his forehead on the door frame

-He scars really easily and his knees are very dark because he would skin them a lot as a kid

-He's awar of how tall he is but he's very good at hiding in smaller spaces. If there's a sliver to a crack to slide between he can do it no problem.

-Bertold chooses to stay quiet most the timebecasuse he can be very mean in his head, and he doest like making others feel bad despite his innermost thoughts being very rude/blunt.

-Is a lot stronger than he lets on, carrying certain things is no problem for him and its a little off-putting

Annie

-She is an avid sleep talker

-Annie thinks her best feature is her hair and nose

-Her back will often lock up on her but she had trianed herself ot get used to the shooting pain. No she wont tell anyone about it

-Annie has a comfort hoodie and she gets a lot more anxious if she doesn't have it on her person in some way, shape, or form

-She bites her fingernails to nubs

-Annie has really dry skin and hates the sensation of lotion so she just, won't use any.

Connie

-fluent in pig latin

-Connie snorts when he laughs

-He gets really motion sick so he doesn't like to do any like extra tricks n shit when he's in the odm gear.

-Connie is actually pretty flexable and can fold all the way in half

-He's really good with horses and other kinds of livestock. He is so skilled in fact that he can ride most horses without a saddle

-He can dislocate his shoulder and has used to to prank Jean and Sasha many times. He thinks its hilarious.

Jean

-No one brings it up but Jean has an accent. It’s faint but it’s there, especially when he’s feeling a strong emotion.

-He was really ducking chunky as a baby. Like….he had little rolls and it was adorable.

-Jean is asthmatic

-He can draw really well, in his free time he sketches.

-He really likes cookies.

-Jean is bilugual, he only really mumbles stuff under his breath and wont tell you when he said.

Sasha

-She cries a lot. She can’t help it, a lot of stuff just makes her emotional.

-She once grew her hair past her but and did the big chop before she enlisted. Yes she misses it sometimes.

-Sasha can’t walk in heels.

-She is a bit of a klepto…and she really can’t help it, sometimes she doesn’t even know she’s doing it until she’s long gone from the place she took the item from

-Sasha still has her baby blanket in perfect condition as well.

-Sasha can’t swim.

Erwin

-He is a ya bit insecure about his eyebrows

He cracks his knuckles a lot and Levi hates it. He cannot stand the sound and will stare him down when he cracks them

-Needs glasses from time to time when reading

-Erwin had a surprising deep voice as a child.

-He has a little bit of a sweet tooth

-Keeps emergency money in his shoe( a tip from his dad that he always uses)

Levi

-Levi can hold his breathe for about a minute

-He has amazing peripheral vision. Its almost impossible to sneak up on him he is always looking and can just see things around him very clearly.

-Levi can write in cursive and has pretty handwriting like Armin. But he won’t help anyone write anything.

-Levi always makes sure his nails are neat. He can't stand dirty fingernails.

-He has grey hairs like Mikasa does

Hanji

-Hanji always smells like chemicals.

-Hanji is actually blind as a bat and needs glasses prescription updates very often

-They almost always know when someone is being dishonest. It's like a sixth sense

-Hanji has an older brother but they don’t talk or keep in contact anymore.

-Hanji had a collection of teeth. Key word had. (Levi had something to do with it)

-They can see a broader spectrum of color and no one believes them!

Authors Note: I haven't written for AOT in forever so this was a nice little treat for myself. I literally grew up watching AOT, it is a comfort show and a staple of my childhood lol.

On another note, KINKTOBER is fast approaching so I will be mainly focusing on trying to get those fics whipped up before next month! I also turn 21 next month so I'm busy party planning and getting ready to absolutely destroy my liver lol. Anyway love you sinners! See ya next post! <3

HISTORIA

• movie nights in each other’s bedrooms (that may end up in you both making out)

ANNIE

• getting used to her stoic demeanor and quietness but checking in with her all the time anyway, and her pretending it’s annoying but secretly loving how much you care

• her being secretly overprotective (beating up that flirty, sleezy guy when you weren’t looking)

Hcs inspired by the AOT Royal AU post specifically for Sasha and Niccolo.

Nicco and Sasha first met when he realised food was going missing from his kitchen so he decided to hide there overnight and lo and behold there she was! The brunette was not only stealing snacks but cooking whole meals for herself.

When he threats to tell on her, she begs for a job instead. Sasha is known to be honest and her raving reviews on Nicco’s cooking softens him enough that he accepts her offer.

At first it was a little awkward and tense in the kitchen but then came that one fated day. That one moment everyone should experience whilst in the kitchen.

FLOUR FIGHT!!

Of course it was Connie who planted the suggestion of a flour fight to break the ice with the seemingly cold chef and Jean with his big brain moves telling her how to ambush him.

Sasha played coy and asked Nicco to teach her how to bake bread and that’s when the ambush began. Niccolo was stunned by the audacity of this woman but decided what has he got to lose and went nuts with the flour.

The whole place is a mess and even weeks later they’re finding flour in random spots.

Look up the definition of whipped and you’ll see this man’s face. But you’d rarely hear him give a compliment to anyone. His love language is acts of service and Sasha’s is words of affirmation.

Niccolo always gives the most delicious looking plate to Sasha and he won’t even deny it when he’s called out on it. He does not give two craps about the hierarchy and will treat everyone based on whether he likes them that day or not.

He feeds her and she praises him. Perfect match in my opinion.

Somewhere on this account is a headcanon about Sasha being deeply curious about the personal lives of random strangers and I actually want to expand on it now that I've thought about it but I can't find the post. Anyway there's something almost sad about realizing that other people have lived lives as complex as yours and yet completely different, and knowing that you'll never know what it was like. Just. Seeing someone across the street and wondering what their first day of grade school was like. Knowing that they probably have really strong memories associated with particular smells or sounds or places like you do (or maybe they don't, and that's it's own brand of fascinating). Sometimes I hear someone arguing ahead of me in line or working at a furniture store and I wonder what brought them there. Did they go to college? Where? Why? Why did they apply to that job? Who are they arguing with? How did they get to be where they are today? And y'know what? I'll never know. So many questions for so many strangers and I'll never have the answers, and so I'm going to project this onto Sasha actually. I think she wants to understand the people around her. I think the idea that someone on the subway next to her might have a smell they associate with a childhood memory or that the person driving the taxi she just got in to might have a complicated but loving relationship with their parents, and they both have a million and one life stories that they'll never tell her gets her. I think that if she lived, she would've become an Eye avatar and it's an itch she wouldn't have been able to resist scratching. What's the browser history of the woman shopping for lettuce? What was highschool like for the man waiting next to her at the crosswalk? What was it like for the elderly woman two rows away on the bus, growing up at whatever time she did? I think she starts small, little harmless facts that hurt nobody but satisfy that curious part of her brain. And I think she keeps going until it spirals out of control.

I also like the idea that this is an autism/nd thing. A sort of "looking from the outside in" perspective. Trying to understand other people in ways that are so difficult to do through conversation. A way of getting to know them without awkward small talk.

Hey. Heyyyyy. Guess what.

I’m obsessed with Amphibia. You probably already knew that if you pay attention to my blog lol.

I wrote more about the gay frogs. Sashanne this time. This takes place as part of the CMBTY au when Blossom, Sea and Flame are 13/14 during the war in Amphibia. This means I’m referring to them as Anne and Sasha.

So, without further ado, I present to you:

Blueberry and Chocolate

~ ~ ~

Sasha’s eyes are blue. Anne knows this. Logically, it makes sense. Sasha has heterochromia and has been switching eye colours for years now. Even so, Anne still can’t get the thought out of her head. The entire time they have been in Amphibia, or at least for the parts where they’ve met up, Sasha’s eyes have always been brown. Until now.

Ever since coming back, Sasha’s been acting like a whole new person. Sure, Anne doesn’t fully trust her yet, but she’s getting there. Sasha made her co-commander. They get to go on missions together now. Everything about that is great. Except, for Sasha’s eyes. Anne can’t stop staring at them. They remind her of the ocean, of the sky, of her own powers. 

They keep pulling Anne into a trance and so far, she’s had very bad luck snapping out of it. Why the sudden colour change? Why can’t Anne keep her eyes off hers? It’s all very confusing. She needs to stop staring, like she’s doing right now, but no matter how hard she tries, she can’t pull herself away. Luckily enough, help comes in the form of a purple menace crashing into her.

“Wow sis. We were all calling you. Are you losing your hearing?” Polly looks up at her expectantly as Anne refocuses on the room around her. 

“No. I’m fine. Just zoned out, that’s all. What were we talking about?” Sasha chuckles and Anne keeps her eyes pinned to the map in front of her so she doesn’t zone out again. 

“With what we know from mother olm, Andrias is close to being ready to invade earth. At this present time, we need to focus on building a bigger army. We’ve slowed down his plans enough to buy us time, but we still need to act fast.” Sasha stops, then yawns. Grime gives her a look and it takes everything in Anne to not get stuck in a trance again. Grime cuts in. 

“It’s late and we should all be getting to bed. We can discuss more in the morning.” Sasha groans and tries to protest but Grime cuts her off. “Especially you Sasha. You haven’t been sleeping enough lately. Bed. Now.” 

Sasha glares at the old toad before turning around and gathering her things. Everyone else starts to do the same. Anne sees Grime go over to Sasha and ask her something quietly. She can’t make out what they’re saying, but Sasha gives a slight nod and Grime turns towards the Plantars. 

He steps over to Anne just as she’s about to leave, tapping her on the shoulder to gain her attention. 

“May I have a word?” Anne looks at him with slight shock. Why would Grime want to talk to her?

“Sure.” She says. The Plantars wait by the door while Grime pulls Anne to the side of the room. She catches a glance from Sasha on the way. 

“Sasha has been having nightmares lately. Would it be possible for you to stay with her tonight? Having you around comforts her.” Grime whispers to her. Things make a lot more sense now. 

“Of course. As long as Sasha’s ok with it.” Grime nods and throws a thumbs up in Sasha’s direction. She smiles slightly, her eyes crinkling with the movement and oh no Anne’s stuck again. Luckily, Grime snaps her out of it. Leading her to the door. 

After a brief explanation of why she won’t be heading back with the Plantars, Anne, Sasha and Grime are off towards Sasha’s room. They walk in silence, catching each other's eyes momentarily every once and a while. Finally, they make it to the cave. 

“Well, I’m going to head to my room. Have a good sleep you two.” With that, Grime leaves the two of them alone. Sasha watches him go before opening the door to her room. She holds it for Anne who follows her in. Sasha closes the door and turns to Anne. 

“Sorry about this. The nightmares have just been really bad la-“ Anne cuts her off. 

“Dude, chill. I don’t mind.” Sasha sighs and leans her forehead on Anne’s shoulder. Anne rubs her back. She looks very tired. 

“Come on. Let’s get you to bed.” Anne leads Sasha over to the bed and plops her things down beside it. She pulls out a pair of pajamas and lays them on the bed in front of her. “Do you have anything to change into?” She asks Sasha. Sasha nods her head and goes to rummage through her clothes pile, pulling out a set of pink, silk pajamas. Something she’s probably had since toad tower. 

She walks back over to Anne, laying them on the bed beside her set. She then starts taking off her armour. Anne starts to disrobe as well. They’ve done this many times. They’ve bathed together for years. Anne was apprehensive at first, but was fine after she came out to Sasha as Trans. 

Anne manages to get her chest plate and shirt off before she hears a grunt from beside her. Sasha is struggling with the lacing on her armour. 

“Want some help?” Sasha turns to Anne. 

“Yes please.” She asks in a quiet voice. She turns towards Anne and holds her arms out in a T, letting Anne access the lacing on her sides. Anne carefully unties the knots that hold the armour together, helping Sasha get it over her head afterwards. After that, they both slip out of their clothes and into their pajamas easily, but Anne still can’t meet Sasha’s eyes. 

Eventually the two climb into Sasha’s bed, leaving space between them. Anne reaches over and turns out the glowshrooms, bathing the room in darkness. They lay there for a few minutes, just listening to each other’s breathing. It’s Sasha who decides to break the silence. 

“Can we talk? It can be about anything, I just need to distract myself.” Anne shifts onto her side, now facing Sasha. Sasha turns towards her as well. It’s hard to see in the dim lighting, but trickles of light from outside of the room give just enough visibility that Anne can see the hints of blue in her friends eyes. 

“Sure. Want me to start?” Anne replies softly. Sasha nods her head into her pillow and Anne takes a breath. 

“When did you change your eyes to blue?” Sasha chuckles into a sigh. 

“I knew you would notice. It took Grime a bit.” She smiles and Anne can’t help but smile back. “They were brown in Newtopia as you probably remember. I take them out to sleep usually. Actually,” she sits up and reaches over Anne to the table beside her bed. Anne sees what she’s reaching for and hands over the contact container. 

Sasha takes it with a ‘thanks’. She reaches up to her right eye and takes out her contact, and sets it in its container, closing the lid on it after and handing it back to Anne. Anne places it on the table as Sasha flops back down onto her pillow. 

“There. Now it won’t get stuck.” They chuckle together before Sasha continues. “The town was wiped out in the middle of the night. I had my brown contact by where I was sleeping. I tried to fight before we got overrun. I grabbed my bag but completely forgot the contact. It got destroyed. I switched to blue afterwards.” Oh. Why hadn’t she thought of that. 

“Are you sad that you lost it?” Anne asks. Sasha shakes her head. 

“No. It was just another part of me that belonged to my bitch of a mother. Now I get to be like my dad.” Anne can see Sasha smile and she smiles too. 

“I’ve always loved your eyes.” She admits. She sees Sasha look at her in surprise. Anne continues. 

“Even when we were younger. I was amazed the first time I saw them without contacts on. I know you think they’re weird, but I can’t help but get lost in them. Sorry for staring so much.” She chuckles and looks away. 

She feels Sasha take her hand. “You really think so? Most people think they’re strange.”

“Well, I think they’re beautiful.” They turn towards each other. Anne continues, letting her gaze finally fall on Sasha’s eyes again. “I know what it’s like. Having things about your body that you don’t like. If you don’t like them, it’s your choice to change them. Don’t let other people’s opinions make you.” Anne squeezes Sasha’s hand reassuringly. 

She sniffles and Anne panics. “Sash! Oh no. Did I say something wron-” She’s cut off as Sasha buries her head in Anne’s chest, tucking just under her neck and crying. Anne hugs her and strokes her hair. Sasha starts to calm eventually. She whispers something into Anne’s skin, just barely loud enough to catch.

“Thank you.” Anne smiles and pulls her closer, throwing a leg over Sasha’s body. 

“Any time Sash. Now, get some sleep.” Anne presses a kiss to the top of Sasha’s hair, faintly making out brown roots in the dark. “You need it.”

Anne listens as Sasha’s breathing steadies, signaling that her partner has fallen into sleep at last. 

“Damn. She’s cute.” Anne thinks. “...wait. Oh.” 

She likes Sasha. Like-likes Sasha. This is awkward. She looks down at her companion. 

“That’s a worry for another time. Goodnight Sasha.” 

Like Sasha, Anne finds sleep in the arms of her best friend. Her best friend with her shining, blueberry and chocolate eyes.

then the nurses catch him doing it and have to YANK him off of you, once again.

so incredibly caring and concerned 🤍

she was the one who found you on the expedition with a broken leg

she refuses you to the hospital

lets the nurses do their jobs (thank god)

she really wants to be able to help nurse you back to health as well though..

she gives you the next best thing aka massages.

she literally comes in everyday and gives you 3 massages minimum a day

she’ll also sleep in the hospital with you most days.

nothing less than an angel.

for however long you’re in the hospital, he’ll bring you flowers

in there for 3 weeks? new flowers every week.

in there for a week? new flowers every other day.

reads you books every night to help you sleep

sleeps there EVERY single night

always gives good morning and good night kisses

keeps you updated with what’s going on with everyone and training to make sure you don’t miss out.

makes sure to surprise you by bringing your friends there too!! it was a super sweet surprise.

when you’re sleeping, he goes around asking nurses if they need help😖.

he’s like a scared little boy.

he’ll sit by your side and tell you it’s all okay

but when he’s alone.. HE GETS SO UPSET

sometimes he’ll take ‘bathroom breaks’ just to pull himself together because he hates seeing you in this state :(.

really affects his everyday life

but he hides it well.

BIGG celebrations as soon as you’re out of hospital

is literally like a servant, will get you everything and anything you want.

he bakes you cookies for being so brave☹️.

he stays with you all day long until the nurse finally tells him he has to go.

it breaks his heart leaving you but he gets up bright and bloody early to see you in the morning

she’s not nervous,

your injury wasn’t fatal or anything.

she’ll still visit you, of course ;)

she also makes sure to tell you how brave you are

since you are scared of hospitals.

she’ll giggle at your wimpy-ness though.

like you were getting patched up and you were just like trying not to scream

and she was just standing there chuckling at you.

so so so scared, secretly.

he has lost one too many people

but to lose you? that would completely and utterly BREAK him.

it was a pretty gnarly injury as well…

which was rather terrifying for both you and him

but he’ll keep a cool persona around you.

if he’s unable to visit due to work, he’ll ring the hospital and asks how you are.

he’ll always make time to come see you though, no matter what!!

☆ erwin smith

he hears from his assistant that you’ve been put into hospital

he runs STRAIGHT over and makes sure to comfort you.

he’ll stay till dark when you’re asleep and pay the nurses a visit too

he asks them to take extra good care of you.

if he’s unable to see you, he makes sure to call you up every single day

hange has seen it all at this rate

but doesn’t seem to heavily affected.

they’ve never really had anyone close to them be extremely injured

they were sooo scared though :(.

it was really sad for everyone to see hange’s energy so low but

they couldn’t help it!!

all they could think about was their poor love in hospital :(.

when they’re around you though, they try to stay positive! and tells you all about their work to keep you both distracted.

ok but for real, they'd be like two peas in a pod. Gabi is just as rambunctious and matches Sasha's infinite energy! They're always getting into shenanigans and pulling pranks on the others! Jean. Connie. Reiner. Porco. Eren. Bertie. Even Annie and Mikasa at one point! No one is safe from these two's hijinks!

Imagining them having their version of "girls day". Getting up really early to go hunting and exploring. They help Sasha's mom with dinner and then afterwards, Sasha's siblings join them for snacks and movies on the living room floor. Kaya picks out the amazing feminist classic, Legally Blonde, starring Reece Witherspoon. Gabi's never seen it before and is a little 😕 --cause at this age she probably is in the I don't like pink and doing all those "girly" things stage-- but Sasha says she loooooves this movie and has seen it so many times that her and Kaya are quoting parts and so Gabi is paying attention cause if her "big sister" (I'm crying 😭😭😭😭) likes it than it's gotta be good?

By the halfway point Gabi is INVESTED! When Elle ends up sticking to her promise of keeping Brooke Taylor's alibi secret, Gabi is all like, "Elle what're'you doing!?!?! You're gonna lose the case! Just tell them!"

Kaya is about to say something but Sasha puts a finger to her own mouth and shakes her head for her to just let things happen.

Gabi is rolling her eyes like all the other characters with the way Elle is fumbling through her cross examination and grumbling how she was starting to like her but this was such a dumb move. BUT THEN!

Then comes the iconic moment! Elle zeros in the inconsistancy in Chutney's story and goes in for the kill. So to speak. Gabi's eyes are huge as she watches it all unfold. And when Chutney ends up blurting out her confession Gabi literally throws both her arms up in surprise and elation!

They spend some time talking about the movie after and because they're all still wired off snacks and Elle's badassery, Sasha proposes another movie and they end up introducing Gabi to Mean Girls. 😌

Sashas love language includes touch. She loves hugging you whenever she gets the chance to. Sometimes she bites you out of affectation and of course she adores cuddling.

She doesn't have a preference when it comes to big or little spoon but most of the times she's the little until she noticed your cute reaction when the position was switched. She didn't question anything so you wouldn't feel uncomfortable trying to explain.

Your blushy and flustered face when you were the little spoon made her want to tease you more but she knows you're too shy. Maybe she'll do it another time.

While you're the little spoon she sniffs your hair all the time and doesn't hide it. Makes the same noise when she smells a well made dish or her favourite desserts.

She likes to give you gentle kisses on your shoulders or on your temple. She knows they make your heart race but she acts all inoccent

Sasha won't mind that her arm became your new pillow. She will NEVER move her arm if she knows you're resting comfortably

At the end Sasha will always ask to be the big spoon because she likes to make you feel safe and protected

Jonathan Sims - We’ve established that Jon was super adhd and wouldn’t read more one book by the same author but i feel like he would read ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’ by Limony Snickett

Martin Blackwood - Martin for sure read the Lord of the Rings series. You cannot look me in the eye and tell me that man does not identify as a hobbit

Tim Stoker -Tim was an obnoxious Percy Jackson fan and no one can tell me otherwise. He was convinced he was a child of Poseidon and that’s how he got into kayaking

Sasha James - Sasha was definitely into the “Spiderwick Chronicles” and picked up a dark academia vibe soon after.

Melanie King - Melanie would definitely be reading “Goosebumps” and “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark”

Georgie Barker- Georgie was a potterhead and you cannot tell me differently. She for sure has taken the official test (she’s a Gryffindor) and forced jon to take it too (he’s a Ravenclaw)

Basira Hussain- If i am being honest, i think basira jumped into reading the classics in middle school, but has (and still has) a secret soft spot for Jane Austen.
