The reason why she only refers to employees by their ID is because employees die so often in her department that she’s stopped bothering to learn their names. Anyways

I imagine she admires Chesed’s work ethic, but still doesn’t lead her department in the same way he does because she thinks, with how forgetful and clumsy she is, she’d probably never be able to just juggle so many different tasks like he does (especially when half of those tasks are supposed to be done by the employees…)

She did, however, tried to get herself hooked on coffee like him, thinking it would improve her performance, but eventually decided that it wasn’t for her (which, given Roland’s reaction to it in LoR, is probably less out of personal taste and more out of how Chesed brews coffee…)

However! Where there’s a will, there’s a way, and Malkuth doesn’t give in so easily! So instead, she settled for blue WellCheers cans, which actually did the job surprisingly well…

…until an incident where she suddenly went missing overnight after an employee failed to notice the can they were delivering to her was opened.

The employee was fired, Malkuth herself was replaced, and now giving WellCheers cans to her is one of Lob Corp’s many weirdly specific rules.

Another weirdly specific rule is ‘do not let Malkuth read Dream of a Black Swan’s profile’.

Elijah isn’t too uncommon a name, but I think we can all imagine how freaky it would be to read about such horrible things happening to someone who literally shares the same name as you.

On the whole, she doesn’t allow herself to get much free time. She’s always itching for something to do, and on the very rare occasion that she checks off everything she needs to do in her notebook… she’ll just find something worth her time!

Thus, you know the story of those random days in the company where she starts randomly storming in and out of various departments asking if she can be assistance with her typical cheery attitude, but a hint of desperation behind it.

Various employees have compared her to the Queen of Hatred when she gets like this.

I never noticed it in game until now. There is one for Chesed's as well but its taken from my phone so I won't add the hall. Below are the writings in a clearer form to see along with a bit of scuffed translation for some. In order its Malkuth, Yesod, Netzach, Hod, Tiphereth A (Girl, First Section), Tiphereth B (Boy, Second Section), Chesed, Gebura, Hokma, and Binah. It's labeled as [sephirah name][ester] in assets.

I'm assuming the reason why I couldn't find the ones in the bottom layer in game is due to the fact they have Binah and Hokma as their sephirahs. And Yesod's department... it explains itself. If they are there I'm just blind. I used google translate for some of them but stopped after awhile as i had to manually try to match up characters after writing the general shape and that takes awhile BUT! In Malkuth's they talk about how 'joint training sucks' and how one sin and a hundred good deeds is 'creepy' with a doodle of it as well. Yesod's has one of an employee going 'We are all going to die!' with it underlined and a smaller response to it being 'shut up, you piece of shit!' along with a drawing of a PE box and it being called 'the root of all evil'. Chesed having a huge 'PESCA' (fishing) because of his ocean themed department. Even the clerks have sailor uniforms. Also a 'Get out of here!' near the left side as well with an 'already?' right next to the tally marks. Netzach's talking about the beer vending machine, how the upper layers are better (i couldn't tell what the response to that comment was supposed to be though) and 'here is the enkephalin'. Again, machine translated so not the EXACT words and only for a couple of them but I hope it's interesting!

narratively, it would make sense for our final destination to be L corp. L is the twelfth letter of the alphabet, and canto 12 belongs to faust. midnight is an important concept to walpurgisnacht, which is important to faust's theming. i don't think limbus company and lobotomy corporation having the same initials isn't on purpose either. the assumption thus would be that faust comes from L wing, and that would mean, that this whole time, it was based on germany. the horrifying conclusion here is that most of the lobcorp cast are german
