“ahh ki!!! you’re getting pumpkin guts everywhere!!” you screamed, trying to avoid the mess your boyfriend was making.

the two of you had decided that since it was now “spooky month”, you needed to carve pumpkins.

so here you were now, with two pumpkins on the table, being gutted very violently by riki.

“i told you! i’m a pro, do not fear m’lady!!” he laughed, still slicing open the pumpkins.

when he had fully cleaned out the pumpkins, you prepared the carving knives so you two could make all sorts of funky designs.

“hmm whatcha gonna make little love?” he asks, already mischievously planning his own pumpkin.

“it’s a surprise!” you giggled, turning your pumpkin away from him in a childish manner.

the two of you sat in a comfortable silence with soft music in the background.

you and riki were very focused on making this pumpkin the best thing ever.

“ta da!!” you cheer, showing off your cute new pumpkin with a little duck face carved into it.

“is that supposed to be me?” riki jokes, knowing how much you liked comparing him with a cute baby duck.

“maybe..yah! now show me yours!” you laugh, expecting something totally riki.

and oh was it…unique….

“i know, it’s beautiful,” he smirked. it was a very accurate representation of his jay hyung…the roblox man face….

“is that jay oppa?!?” you laugh, clutching onto your stomach.

the two of you both agreed not to tell jay or else he would probably chase the poor kids all around korea.

“wait! let me get the candles so we can light them up!” rushing out of your chair, you quickly run into the kitchen where you had set the candles on the counter.

“here you go ki,” you said, handing him a candle.

you both lit your candles and then closed the top of your pumpkins to fully enjoy the effect.

“i’d say we did well,” riki smiled, planting a kiss on your head.

“very,” you hummed, snuggling into riki’s side.

“happy spooky month little love,”

Alright, finally I could get both parts of this uploaded. So, November 10th is when Fallout 4 released back in 2015, making it 9 whole years old today. I decided I'd try doing some conversions of stuff. These are conversions from the "Modern Domestic" set in the game, you get the two end tables and a chair, plus a loveseat add-on for the chair.

Details:

The loveseat is linked to the chair, and the end small end table is linked to the big, meaning you will need those meshes for the others to work. The end tables and chairs aren't linked in any way, however.

And yes, they're both in end tables, and stand at typical end table height. The two-tile one is cloned from a conversion of an awesims sideboard (to get the slots and all that right) idk where the original download is but I got it here.

The chair has two subsets while the tables have just one.

The cushions on the chair are in the same 28 colors from last time, the woods on both sets are an assortment of 7 natural colors, using color actions by Hafiseazale.

OH I almost forgot to mention, the end tables. They are about half the depth that they are in fo4, these things are massive by default. Like, they're too damn big in fo4 they're as thick as the shoulder span of an X-01, as I found out.

Criticize the Israeli government all you want; there is plenty of reason to do so. But this post isn't about the crimes of Israel; there are plenty of those posts already. This post is about the Survivor Yuval Raphael, contestant at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025, and about the crimes of the Hamas.

Yuval Raphael has been through enough.

But remember that this whole recent escalation started with a terror act committed by the Hamas in 2023, the Nova Music Festival Massacre. A terrorist attack in which 378 people (give or take about 20 depending on the source), 344 of whom were civilians, have been killed and 44 people (give or take 5 depending on the source) have been taken hostage. An act committed by a terrorist organization that specifically targeted civilians on that day, that has specifically targeted civilians many times before that day and will doubtlessly continue to specifically target civilians in the future. Yuval Raphael was present during one of the attacks, specifically the one at the festival directly. She survived in an unsealed rocket bunker. Be aware that these bunkers are not meant to withstand an attack by ground forces. They can easily be opened from the outside.

So if you partake in any of the aggression targeted against her, you should be ashamed. If you support the many death threats that have been directed towards her, you should be ashamed. And while far from every critic against Israel is antisemitic, all criticism claiming that the Hamas does not target civilians and all the criticism implying that the Hamas has some higher right to kill jewish civilians is antisemitic.

Evan walked in, glancing over at Barty for a second. "What's that?"

"It's called a stapler," Barty replied, focused on the strange black thing. "It's a muggle thing. Lily was using one."

"Okay." Evan collapsed onto Barty's bed. "What's it do?"

"It connects things," Barty mumbled, pressing the top part down, closing in part of his sleeve. There was a small clicking sound, and then Barty held his arm up. "See? It uses these little metal things - oh, I wonder..."

Evan nodded, used to Barty's experiments by now. Barty was frighteningly intelligent, but most of his interests were - well, at least sort of harmless.

There was another click, and then, "Oh."

Evan sat back up, recognizing the tone. "What did you do?"

"I - well," Barty said slowly. "I put a staple in my hand."

"You put -" Evan blinked. "What?"

"It's fine, I'm good," Barty assured him.

Evan crossed the room, holding out his hand in a silent request. Barty rolled his eyes as he set his hand down.

The small metal bar looked like it was stuck. Evan twisted Barty's wrist, watching the light reflect. "Does it hurt?"

"Kinda. Not bad." Barty shrugged. "I think I can just pull it out."

"Yeah?" Evan glanced up, meeting his eyes. He raised an eyebrow in silent question.

Barty grinned. "Yeah." His eyes flickered to the metal bar, and then back to Evan. "Go for it, Rosie."

Evan rolled his eyes before using his other hand to quickly pull the thing out of Barty's hand, dropping it onto the desk. Then he raised Barty's hand to his lips as two small drops of blood welled up, gently pressing his lips to the wound.

Barty's pupils were blown wide. "Oh."

"Oh?" Evan asked, eyes bright with mischief. He kept them locked on Barty's as his lips parted, and he gently sucked at the wound, watching Barty's breath hitch before he pulled away. "Got a thing for vampires, B?"

Barty blinked. "What?"

Evan laughed, leaning down and pressing a quick kiss to Barty's lips, staining them red. "You're cute."

Y/N awoke to the sound of her phone ringing. Rolling over she grabs her phone from her bedside table having every intention to ignore it until she sees Seonghwa's name, number and a photo of them his birthday last year is illuminated on the screen. 

She quickly answers the video call before it ends. "Hi baby, Happy Birthday." 

"Thank you, my love," he replies, looking and sounding tired. "Did I wake you up? I'm sorry, I didn't even consider the time difference." 

"It's okay," she assures him. "I was in between sleep. How is your day going?" 

"It’s going nicely. We few other schedules this morning, but the guys and I went out to a nice restaurant for lunch. I got even more gifts from them," he explains. "Now I'm just sitting in my hotel room, waiting for rehearsals, with a large bouquet of flowers and all my favourite snacks half eaten." He switches the camera to the snacks and flowers to show her that he received them. "I'm surprised some of them could be found here." 

"Did you like them?" She asks, a soft smile on her face, though a part of her felt disappointed that she couldn't be there with him for his birthday and couldn't give them to him in person. You're thankful to Hongjoong and Yunho for helping you with it. 

"I love them, Jagiya," he smiles. "Almost as much as I love you." 

"I have more for when you get back home," she tells him.  

"I don't need anymore, I have enough already," he says, looking at her with heart eyes through the phone. "You're all I need." 

"I'll just take that Lego set you've been dying to get your hands on back to the store then," you tease him. 

“You and the Lego set is all I need,” he says with a chuckle. “I love you.” 

“I love you, too,” she replies. Her heart fills with love and happiness, seeing his smile and hearing his laugh. It overtakes the disappointment of not being able to be with him.

It was Regulus’ off day. His next event was only in two days and he had time to kill. This is how Regulus found himself at the poolside. Evan had mentioned the divers this year were fit. Trust Evan to do enough ogling for the both of them. He had his first event tomorrow and was spending some time at the skateboard park, otherwise he would’ve been at Regulus’ side. 

The smell of chlorine always set Regulus at ease, something about swimming simultaneously calmed him and lit a fire inside him. From his place at the edge of the pool (the Olympians had special privileges)  he had the perfect view of the Mexican diver taking his place on the platform. Regulus’ breath hitched. Fuck he was fit.

With him being 10 metres in the air, all Regulus could really make out was his muscular build. Still, Regulus’ could see that he was built like a greek god, each sinew clearly defined. Regulus had the sudden urge to lick each of his abs. Blinking out of his stupor, Regulus watched as the diver prepared to launch himself off the platform.

Perfect form. Not even a splash. Easy win.

Regulus’ eyes searched for the side the diver was going to exit the pool, starving for a glimpse of him again. Thank you universe. The Mexican Olympian was climbing out - right in front of where Regulus was standing. He was immediately handed a towel and his gold-rimmed glasses. 

Starstruck, Regulus could only stare hungrily at the man in front of him. The man’s golden skin glistened, water dripping from his curls. He gave Regulus a shy smile. “Good dive?” he offered. 

Without missing a beat Regulus replied, “You could dive right into me.” The man blinked at him. Realizing in horror the words that had just slipped from his mouth, Regulus spun on his heel and sprinted away from the pool. His cheeks were burning. He knew his face and neck were tinged red. 

The diver only chuckled and turned to see his score of 9.5.

I was playing with my µKenbak-1 after the local vintage computing meetup because I wanted to run something other than the little counting demo from the manual. So I modified what was provided, and learned a bit of the instruction set until I could make it do something different. It's a cool design, once you wrap your head around it.

You all know my love of the ancient/archaic style of dice (and how I use them as inspiration for Aasimar characters), so when I saw these sets that I didn't already have as a bundle from Haxtec (and a nice shiny other set), I figured it was as good of an an excuse as any to indulge my addiction.

So, it's been over a year since I did my usual photography - I guess I'll have to see if I remember how I set things up.

Also, even though it's the same old desk, it's a new room with a new way of arranging my desk, so I guess we'll have to see if there's any changes I need to make to my process.

New photos - Well, one per set at least, hopefully, at some point to follow. Not sure if I want to dump all the photos for all the sets into the same post.

hello everyone, happy tuesday! today i come to you with another anon request: @myshunosun's tranquil bedroom set converted from ts4 to ts2! it has 6 items for any sim's classy, contemporary bedroom 💕

the original set had 9 items; i only converted 1 length of lamp and excluded the mattress, so mine has just 6. like my basement treasures one, the mirror has an issue where you can see the frame when you zoom in, but otherwise, i think this conversion turned out pretty good! peek below the cut if you'd like more info, or just check out the readme and collection file in the download.

1938 Mercedes-Benz W154

In September 1936, the AIACR (Association Internationale des Automobile Clubs Reconnus), the governing body of motor racing, set the new Grand Prix regulations effective from 1938. Key stipulations included a maximum engine displacement of three liters for supercharged engines and 4.5 liters for naturally aspirated engines, with a minimum car weight ranging from 400 to 850 kilograms, depending on engine size.

By the end of the 1937 season, Mercedes-Benz engineers were already hard at work developing the new W154, exploring various ideas, including a naturally aspirated engine with a W24 configuration, a rear-mounted engine, direct fuel injection, and fully streamlined bodies. Ultimately, due to heat management considerations, they opted for an in-house developed 60-degree V12 engine designed by Albert Heess. This engine mirrored the displacement characteristics of the 1924 supercharged two-liter M 2 L 8 engine, with each of its 12 cylinders displacing 250 cc. Using glycol as a coolant allowed temperatures to reach up to 125°C. The engine featured four overhead camshafts operating 48 valves via forked rocker arms, with three cylinders combined under welded coolant jackets, and non-removable heads. It had a high-capacity lubrication system, circulating 100 liters of oil per minute, and initially utilized two single-stage superchargers, later replaced by a more efficient two-stage supercharger in 1939.

The first prototype engine ran on the test bench in January 1938, and by February 7, it had achieved a nearly trouble-free test run, producing 427 hp (314 kW) at 8,000 rpm. During the first half of the season, drivers such as Caracciola, Lang, von Brauchitsch, and Seaman had access to 430 hp (316 kW), which later increased to over 468 hp (344 kW). At the Reims circuit, Hermann Lang's W154 was equipped with the most powerful version, delivering 474 hp (349 kW) and reaching 283 km/h (176 mph) on the straights. Notably, the W154 was the first Mercedes-Benz racing car to feature a five-speed gearbox.

Max Wagner, tasked with designing the suspension, had an easier job than his counterparts working on the engine. He retained much of the advanced chassis architecture from the previous year's W125 but enhanced the torsional rigidity of the frame by 30 percent. The V12 engine was mounted low and at an angle, with the carburetor air intakes extending through the expanded radiator grille.

The driver sat to the right of the propeller shaft, and the W154's sleek body sat close to the ground, lower than the tops of its tires. This design gave the car a dynamic appearance and a low center of gravity. Both Manfred von Brauchitsch and Richard Seaman, whose technical insights were highly valued by Chief Engineer Rudolf Uhlenhaut, praised the car's excellent handling.

The W154 became the most successful Silver Arrow of its era. Rudolf Caracciola secured the 1938 European Championship title (as the World Championship did not yet exist), and the W154 won three of the four Grand Prix races that counted towards the championship.

To ensure proper weight distribution, a saddle tank was installed above the driver's legs. In 1939, the addition of a two-stage supercharger boosted the V12 engine, now named the M163, to 483 hp (355 kW) at 7,800 rpm. Despite the AIACR's efforts to curb the speed of Grand Prix cars, the new three-liter formula cars matched the lap times of the 1937 750-kg formula cars, demonstrating that their attempt was largely unsuccessful. Over the winter of 1938-39, the W154 saw several refinements, including a higher cowl line around the cockpit for improved driver safety and a small, streamlined instrument panel mounted to the saddle tank. As per Uhlenhaut’s philosophy, only essential information was displayed, centered around a large tachometer flanked by water and oil temperature gauges, ensuring the driver wasn't overwhelmed by unnecessary data.

But without further ado, here's where we'll leave this Harry and Ginny... for now at least!

They do make it to the beach, eventually. It is a beautiful evening, and after all, they’re celebrating. 

Harry spreads the blanket on the sand, and they feast on the bounty in the picnic basket, toasting their engagement with champagne and sausage rolls. Tomorrow, they’ll share their news with the people they love the best. For now, it’s theirs alone, a precious secret, just for them to delight in.

While they eat, they talk, planning their wedding. It’s remarkably easy to agree that they’ll be saying their vows right here on the beach in front of Ty Môr, barefoot in the sand with all their friends and family around them. Harry chooses his best man (Ron, obviously), Ginny, her bridesmaids (Hermione and Luna, equally obviously). Teddy, they agree, will make the cutest ring-bearer in the whole history of weddings.  

Soon enough, the sun dips towards the horizon, and the sunset is spectacular, a corona glowing with the brightest white fading though yellows, pinks and reds that reflect in a flawless circle on the millpond sea. It would be perfect for a proposal, Harry comments, wryly. 

Ginny won’t hear it, though; as far as she is concerned, his proposal was perfect. She gazes at the ring on her finger, a gold band set with rubies and diamonds that seem to glow in the warmth of the setting sun, and she feels like she is glowing too. She is incandescent with joy, and she knows that Harry—her fiancé—is too, because she can feel it when he kisses her, can see it in the bright emerald of his eyes, can hear it in affirmations whispered against her skin. It leaves her giddy.

Night comes faster on the cusp of September, and as the moon rises in the indigo velvet sky, they pack up their picnic and head back up the dunes. 

August is drawing to a close and autumn beckons. The seasons are changing just as their lives are changing, but for Harry and Ginny, that life will always be together.

And this will always be home.

takeout dinner w/ kiyoko | wc: 344 m.list

    your legs tangle with hers, the couch far too small for the two of you. taking another bite of ramen, you look over at kiyoko, eyes glazed over from the littlest bit of wine, "okay, okay, truth or dare."

  she looks back at you, knee just barely digging into your thigh. her gaze lands on you, sending a flurry of emotions through your head. your heart nearly skipping a beat until you remind yourself that she's tipsy. that that look is purely there from the wine that rests on the table. "truth, i don't trust you with a dare," kiyoko leans her head against the back of the couch.

  "oh come on ki! i can be trusted with dare.." you take another bite of your ramen, foot brushing against her side, chills running down her legs, "but for truth... what's the thing you look out for most in a partner?" 

  kiyoko looks over at you and purses her lips, a slight smile sneaking through. taking in a deep breath, she sets her fork into her bowl, setting it on the nearby coffee table. "well, i tend to like partners who are comfortable to be around me, even in pajamas and with takeout," she sits up, shin pushing against the side of your thigh.

  taking another bite, you move your fork in a nodding movement, "i totally understand that, it's so nice to have someone who loves you unconditionally."

  "yeah it is..." she sighs, grabbing her wine and taking a sip, eyes staying on yours.

  you look back up at her as her gaze stays on yours. and as soon as you do, you realize you’re staring at the most beautiful woman you’ve ever seen in your life. she’s sitting there, leaning forward against her knees, and her shoulder length hair is framing her face perfectly. and almost like a primal instinct, you realize that she’s talking about you.

  “oh- oh,” you look over at her, watching as she bites her lip, smiling at your response, “let me set down my takeout, oh my gosh i wanna kiss you so bad.”
