Interesting thing about the Big Dipper is it’s part of a larger constellation, Ursa Major, and the Little Dipper is Ursa Minor. The moles on the Yoshiki face are like the moles on his dad’s except his dad has more. Just kind of further visually connecting Yoshiki to his father with constellations.

the fire crackled in front of them quietly, barely masking the noise of the crickets and the wind brushing past the leaves. the glow from the fire lit up stanley’s face in a gorgeous golden hue, and y/n couldn’t help but smile every time she looked at him. the light made his hazel eyes light up beautifully, the light freckles on his cheeks stuck out a little more, his jawline seemed sharper than usual. it accentuated his features and almost made him seem more beautiful than usual.
stan tucked the blanket tighter around the both of them and held y/n a little tighter to himself with his arm around her waist, allowing her to tuck into his side comfortably. her head tilted to lean against his shoulder and she smiled softly to herself as her eyes closed.
y/n couldn’t remember the last time that she’d felt so tranquil. when she’d first pictured going camping with the losers, she imagined it being fun and messing around and laughing. of course, they had done that. she couldn’t remember the last time she’d laughed as hard as she did whilst attempting to help richie put up their tents, or walking through the shallow part of the river with eddie as he complained about the fish touching his legs. but she hadn’t imagined how romantic of a time she would have, too.
none of the losers knew that y/n and stanley were dating, and hadn’t known for the past few months. the lines between their friendship and dating were blurred before they put a label on it anyways, so it was pretty easy to hide it from the losers. as far as they knew, stan and y/n were still just crushing hard on each other. so to get some time to themselves, they had both stayed up whilst the other losers went to sleep in their own tents (y/n was supposed to be staying with bev, and stan with richie and eddie, whilst bill, mike, and ben shared a tent). richie and eddie had stopped waving around their torch bickering for almost twenty minutes, so y/n knew they were asleep. and her and stan had the rest of the night to themselves.
for the better half of an hour, stan had been pointing out the stars and different constellations that they could see. y/n could sit and listen to him talk for hours, especially about things that he enjoyed. she’d spend the rest of eternity there with stanley, underneath the stars.
“see that one?” stan raised his arm to point at the sky, and she looked up. “the four stars that form a kind of square, with the bright star to it’s tail? that one’s vega, one of the brightest stars in the sky,” stan spoke softly, and when she looked up at him he had a soft smile on his face. “the constellation is called lyra, which is connected to the myth of orpheus, the great musician,” he explained softly as his hand started gently rubbing her side. “orpheus was given a harp by apollo, and it’s said that his music was more beautiful than that of any mortal man. his music could bring joy to any weary hearts. after his wife had died, he was wandering the land in a great depression, and he was killed. his harp, lyre, was thrown into the river. zeus sent an eagle to retrieve it, and it was then placed into the night sky.”
y/n looked back up at stan with a fond smile on her face. she swore that she fell more and more in love with him every single day. her hand found his free one underneath the blanket, and with a gentle squeeze he turned his head down to face her.
“sorry,” he mumbled, his expression sheepish. “am i boring you, love?”
“what?” y/n immediately shook her head, and pressed a gentle kiss to his cheek. “of course not, i love listening to you,” she promised with another squeeze of his hand. “you’re just so pretty.” she mumbled teasingly, and giggled quietly when stan rolled his eyes fondly.
“thanks.” he shook his head, though she felt him smiling as she leaned up to kiss him. he started rubbing her side again, and she was smiling more as she pulled away to look at him again.
“we should do this more often.” she whispered, and stan hummed with a nod as he leaned down to kiss the top of her head.
“yeah, just not with the other losers next time. if i have to endure another car journey with richie singing spice girls songs over and over i think i’ll die.” stan pulled a face and she laughed softly as she nodded.
“me too.” she giggled, and smiled again as stan pressed yet another kiss to the crown of her head.
they stayed sat together for another long moment in comfortable silence. stan continued to rub her side gently as he pressed kisses to her hairline, and y/n leaned more into him as she relaxed. if she listened close enough, she could hear the rushing of the water from the river about five minutes from where they were.
“hey.” stan gently nudged her arm before he pulled away from her to stand up. y/n pouted at the loss of contact, and wrapped the blanket around her shoulders to keep herself warm without stan’s body heat to do the job. when she looked up at him stan was holding his hand out towards her, and y/n smiled softly as she reached out to take it, letting him pull her to her feet.
y/n was careful not to trip over the log they had been sat on as stanley pulled her up, and she gently gripped his hand as he pulled her over to himself. his hand rested on her waist and she didn’t have to ask what he was doing as she gently laced their fingers and moved her free hand to his back as they settled into a gentle sway underneath the stars.
y/n and stan danced a lot. at parties towards the end of the night, when slower songs started playing and most of the other losers were either too drunk to join them or passed out in a random bedroom. in the clubhouse alone to the shitty radio there. in her kitchen at two in the morning, only to the tune of stan’s gentle humming. almost as if he knew what she was thinking about stanley started humming quietly, the tune of ‘keep on loving you‘ filling the night air. y/n leaned her head against stanley’s chest as they box-stepped slowly to the tune, and she could feel his chest vibrating through his jumper with every hum.
stan pressed a kiss to her head as they danced slowly, and she smiled into his shoulder as she held onto him a little more. she fell more and more in love with stanley every day. being with him was so soft and sweet and romantic; he gave her butterflies with pretty much everything he did. she could never get enough of him.
“i love you, stannie.” she whispered, and tilted her head to look up at him. stanley stopped his humming as their eyes met, and let go of her hand to place his hand against her cheek instead.
“i love you too.” stan smiled, before he leaned down to kiss her as he pulled her closer with the hand on her waist. her free arm wrapped around his shoulders to get closer, and they kept a gentle sway going as they kissed, dancing to the crackling fire and the distant bubbling stream.

Check In (Intrulogical)
A/N: Finished this fic relatively quickly! It's a lot shorter than the Roceit one I posted earlier this week but it's still kinda a long fic lol!
Summary: Directly following the events of WTIT, Remus pops into Logan's room for what he claims is a quick chat, but that quickly grows into something more when the two actually get to talking.
Content Warnings: innuendos, swearing, intrusive thoughts, implied NS/FW (but nothing happens, dw), hurt-comfort
Logan had taken shelter in his room the moment Thomas got home from his outing with Nico. The logical side couldn’t stand to be around the other sides at the moment and he needed to sort out what was going on in his head.
The spectacled side took a deep breath and sat at his desk, staring at the wooden tabletop before slamming his fist down on it. “Fuck!” He yelled at the top of his lungs, infinitely thankful for the magic soundproofing around everyone’s rooms. What would the others think if they heard the rational, level headed (yeah right) Logic yelling expletives at random in his room?
He straightened his tie and glasses and got up, summoning a straw dummy labeled “Thomas”. He stood in front of it and glared at the doll, visibly angry, before he began ranting to it. He talked and talked, yelling at the dummy about how angry he was at being constantly ignored and pushed aside and made fun of, and if the familiar 10 notes announcing a certain Creativity’s presence hadn’t gotten his attention, he would have continued.
“My my Logan, you’ve got so much to say and no one to say it to, huh!” The moustached side raised an eyebrow, smirking at the nerd.
“...what do you want, Remus.” Logan’s words were curt, like he was trying to say just little enough to make the Dark Side leave.
“Gosh, I can’t just talk to a friend?-”
“We are not friends.”
“Ouch!” Remus pretended to be injured. “You’re so prickly, like a kinda sexy cactus! What’s up your ass today?”
Logan stopped and consulted his flashcards, hearing Remus snicker at this and trying to ignore the fact that his face was burning slightly. “Um… Ah.” He found the card he was looking for and examined it a little. “Nothing is ‘up my ass’ today, Remus. You know full well why I’m upset.”
“Uh huh, cuz I called you out on your lying ass.” He sounded irritatingly proud of that fact.
“Yes, well, you got what you wanted. Are you just here to rub it in my face?” Logan stared at Remus, though he noticeably avoided direct eye contact with the gremlin of a side.
Remus frowned. “No, actually.”
“Then you’re here to make me… feel… worse, correct?”
“Nope!” The green-sashed monster grinned.
“Then what do you possibly hope to gain from this interaction?” The blue tied Side frowned. Remus wasn’t here to bug him, or to upset him further? What reason, then, did he have to come to Logan’s room?
“It’s like I said earlier, I wanted to talk to you!”
“...what about?”
Remus shrugged. “I dunno! What do you wanna talk about?”
Logan blinked. “...excuse me?”
“Yeah! Let’s hear what you wanna talk about!” The Duke sat down on Logan’s bed and grinned up at him.
“...” The teacher was silent. “...you’re mocking me, aren’t you?”
“Huh?” Remus blinked and raised an eyebrow. “Why would I-?”
“Yes, I figured as much. Remus, I don’t have time for your games and if you’re simply going to make fun of me you can just-”
“Woah! Pump the brakes Lo, who said I was making fun of you?” The green side looked legitimately confused.
Logan crossed his arms. “Remus, statistically speaking, a total of… Zero sides share any of my interests. A total of three sides have shown aversion to or have mocked the things I consider interesting or enj- er, have a vague liking towards. Why should I believe you aren’t here to add to the latter set of data?”
“First of all, because I sat through that whole talk.” Remus joked. Seeing that Logan just rolled his eyes, he continued. “And secondly, because we also have some of the same interests! Your census of mockery only includes J-Anus, Emo Boy, Hop-Pop Patton and my dumbass brother!”
“Really? Then what are some of those shared interests, oh Duke of Imaginary Death?”
“That was terrible, one.” Remus held up his pointer finger. “And two, we both like chemistry, and poisoning, and astronomy-”
“Wait wait wait.” Logan held a hand up to silence Remus for a moment. “You… like astronomy?”
“Sure! What’s more existentially terrifying than imagining going hurtling right into the sun, or a black hole, or-” Remus’s eyes widened as he talked about the possibilities.
“Thank you, Remus.” Logic sighed. “But… why talk with… me?”
“Cuz… I kinda owe it to you? After being a dickhead all day?”
Logan blinked. “You didn’t have a phallus for a head today?-”
“Figure of speech, teach.” Remus explained curtly.
Logan ‘ah’d’ and nodded.
“And anyways… I wanted to apologize.”
That caused Logan to stop. “...you… wanted to apologize… to me?”
“Yeah, it’s weird for me too, but it’s true! I didn’t mean to make you so mad you - figuratively - blew up, I just wanted to prove a point.”
“I appreciate your use of the word figuratively Remus, and… thank you.”
“No problem!” Remus grinned and thought for a second. “So… wanna talk about forensics?”
Logan’s eyes lit up. “Do I ever!-” He stopped. “Ah, uh, I mean… If you’d like to…?”
Remus giggled. “Cute! But you don’t have to hide that, not around me at least!”
“...thank you…” Logan smiled softly and the duke’s heart just about stopped.
“Uh, um… no problem Nerdy Wolverine.” Remus smiled weakly at the cute nerd.
The logical side rolled his eyes and playfully pushed Remus’s shoulder, which brought the moustached side’s attention to just how touch starved he was - a problem for another day, Mus.
“So what d'ya wanna talk about? Black lights, true crime?”
“Both interesting conversations, but… how about another topic you mentioned earlier?” Logan sounded timid, like he was scared Remus would stop listening if he dared to change the subject.
“Oh? What’d you have in mind?” The intrusive thot tilted his head at a sickening 180 degree angle, but that didn’t seem to bother Logan.
“You mentioned being fascinated by astrology as well. Would you like to talk about that?”
“Of course I would, my nerdy Astro-Boy Toy~” Remus laughed at his own nickname, to which Logan rolled his eyes again. “What about space, starlight?”
Logan’s smile grew ever so slightly, thankfully drawing Remus’s attention to that as opposed to his pink cheeks. “Well… let’s talk about constellations. You’re a storyteller of sorts, what’s your favorite constellation origin story?”
“Ooh, how fun!” Remus grinned. “Well, I personally love the story of Aquila, the king who got turned into a golden eagle messenger thing because Zeus got jealous of how much people liked him! You know, he’s the one who brought Zeus his cupbearer, Ganymede? That’s where the Aquarius constellation comes from! He was some Trojan prince, he ended up being the god of homosexual love! Historians think his name was a euphemism, since it’s a combination of the Greek words for ‘gladdening’ and ‘genitals’!”
Logan nodded and watched Remus explain the stories, smiling at how enthusiastically Remus shared the information. Remus noticed this and stopped. “Well, how ‘bout you, teach?”
“Huh?” Logan blinked, being pulled from his thoughts by the sound of Remus’s voice.
“You wanted to talk about constellations! What’s your favorite story?”
“Oh, um… I enjoy the story of Orion, the hunter who killed so many innocent creatures that Gaea sent a large scorpion to kill him and then put both of them in the stars for all eternity.”
“Huh! So that Scorpio constellation…?”
“Yes, that’s its origin story as well.” Logan smiled.
“Funny! I would never have guessed it!” That wasn’t true. Remus knew each and every constellation origin story like the back of his palm. He loved Greek mythology, but the only thing he loved more than that was seeing how Logan’s face lit up when he got to explain it. “Any other stories?”
The teacher blinked and adjusted his glasses. “Oh, um… I also enjoy the Cassiopeia story…”
The duke’s face brightened, eagerly awaiting Logan’s explanation. The spectacled astronomer’s face turned pink when he realized this, not sure what to do with this sort of attention.
“Well, Cassiopeia was a queen in Ancient Greece and she claimed to be the most beautiful thing in creation, which Posideon took personally since he had made what he considered to be the most beautiful creatures, and those were the sea nymphs. So Posideon sent Cetus, this giant sea monster, to torment the town, and he told the citizens that if they wanted him to get rid of the monster, Cassiopeia would have to apologize. She didn’t, so they asked if they could do anything else, and Posideon said if they sacrificed Cassiopeia’s daughter Andromeda to him that Cetus would go away, so the townspeople kidnapped her and brought her down to the pier. Poseidon didn’t like that, of course, since he was really just trying to get Cassiopeia to apologize and didn’t want some poor mortal’s blood on his hands so he let Perseus save her and kill Cetus.
“As punishment for almost letting her daughter die to save her own pride and for insulting the gods, they put her in the sky upside down on a chair to humiliate her for the rest of time.” Logan had gotten pretty excited while he explained the story, grinning widely as he finally finished it.
Remus was silent the entire time, watching how happily Logan told him a story he’d heard a million times before and thinking about how nice it was to be able to hear it from the nerd’s perspective.
Logan, finally remembering Remus was there, coughed softly and adjusted his tie, his smile fading. “Um, apologies, Remus. Thank you for letting me ramble.”
“Lo, you were telling a story! That’d be really dickish for someone to just cut you off during a story, you know?”
“I know, but I still appreciate it.” Logan yawned and Remus realized he looked tired, like the story had exhausted him.
“You wanna take a nap, teach?” The duke frowned and tilted his head.
“I… I have to finish up my work for the day…” The logical side moved his glasses and rubbed his eyes.
“...Lo?”
“Yes…?”
“You had a long day. Yes it was cuz I was being a bitch, but still, you need to get some sleep. Or, y’know, I’m gonna be even more of a bitch to deal with!” Threatening intrusive thoughts usually worked to get Janus to go to bed when he refused to sleep, so he figured he’d try the technique out on Logan.
The nerd however simply shook his head and laughed softly. “I don’t think so, Remus. I can… I can handle you…”
“You couldn’t today, could you?” Remus accidentally blurted out before immediately covering his mouth. “Oh my god I didn’t mean that-”
“It’s fine, Remus.” Logan stated, rubbing his eyes. “You’re right. I couldn’t handle you today. But I really do have to finish working on this-”
“I’ll stay with you if you go to bed!” The duke once again blurted out. “Cuz I don’t think you’d wanna stay alone with Orange so close by, y’know? I can stay and like, fend him off!”
Logic blinked at the proposition and squinted. “...you… want to stay with me? Why are you so adamant about me getting proper sleep?”
“Well one, cuz it’s already 10:30 at night, and two, cuz… you know, I don’t wanna end up actually hurting you!”
That further surprised Logan. “You don’t want to end up hurting me? I was under the impression that that’s something you enjoyed.”
“Well…” Remus was hesitant to explain - that tipped Logan into the fact that it was probably something more than that.
“What’s really going on Remus?” The stern side crossed his arms and stared at the Creativity.
“...okay, I don’t wanna be alone tonight!” The duke stomped his foot and crossed his arms, looking away. “My nightmares have been getting worse and Janus is hanging out with Roman and Patton today and Virgil hates my guts so I figured I’d at least try to hang out with the one side that for some reason still tolerates my dumb ass!” He sounded a little hurt, and added, “Or, one that wouldn’t immediately kick me out or hit me with a broom at the mere sight of me.”
Logan blinked. “Nightmares? You suffer from nightmares?”
Remus sighed and tugged on his sash. “Yeah, they suck ass - not in a fun way - but it’s part of the job description, y’know?”
“I don’t. But… does this mean you also suffer from intrusive thoughts?”
“...yeah… They’re kinda the reason I came in here in the first place...”
The logical side sighed. “Remus, you could have told me sooner you just needed company. I’m not the best at keeping up conversation but I could have at least put on a movie for you to refocus on something other than your intrusive thoughts.”
The duke blinked. “You… you’re not gonna just kick me out?”
“Why would I? You’re in need of assistance and I’m going to provide it for you.” Logan got up and rummaged through his DVD stack. “What would you like to watch?”
Remus stretched and looked over. “Whatever ya want, Sub-astute but Super Cute Teacher.”
Both sides flushed red when they realized what Remus had said.
“...interesting nickname, Remus.” Logan gulped, looking down.
“Yeah, uh…” The duke laughed weakly. “Well, I guess that cat’s out of the plastic bag it was choking in, huh?”
“What, that you think I’m cute?” The teacher looked over at the moustached Creativity. “You already called me sexy.”
“Well yeah, but that felt less… sappy, than calling you cute. And anyways, I meant that I was into you. Ooh, do you have Coraline?”
Logan stopped. “...repeat that, please?”
“The Coraline thing?-”
“The thing before the Coraline request.”
“Oh yeah, I like you.” Remus was right to the point, like always. “When I saw you take the shuriken to the face and just keep on moving right along… God, that was an image!” The duke gripped his thigh and shook his head, stopping himself from reaching down his pants.
“And you’re telling me this now… why?” The teacher was still reeling from the initial confession.
“We don’t get to talk one-on-one a lot! Plus, I don’t really like talking about cutesy emotions - that’s Roman’s department, y’know?”
Logan nodded slowly.
“Anyways, I changed my mind on the movie, can you put on Monster House?”
The spectacled side nodded and got the CD for Monster House, putting it in the DVD player and sitting next to the green-sashed side. He should have figured Remus wouldn’t be the type to linger on his feelings, and he was grateful for that at least. He couldn’t handle talking about feelings for long periods, especially not his own, but to have one of the most passionate sides just drop the fact that they liked him and immediately move on from that fact? It was odd. He almost couldn’t believe it.
Remus meanwhile was laying on the bed and watching the movie intently, smiling brightly at the screen before realizing that Logan had gotten into bed next to him. He turned over a little and growled “seductively” at the teacher, who laughed softly at the dark creativity. The sound caused butterflies to erupt in the duke’s stomach, flustering him a little. He smiled back at the logical side before returning his attention to the movie.
Logan meanwhile admired Remus, watching as he talked excitedly about the movie. He found it strangely endearing, how excitable Remus got when he was able to talk about things he found interesting. He didn’t have much time to think about it though, as he found himself falling asleep soon after the thought passed through his head. The astronerd yawned and passed out, sleeping peacefully next to the intrusive side.
The duke didn’t notice until he felt warm arms wrap around him. It startled the hell out of him, but he relaxed after he realized it was simply the sleeping teacher clinging to him. He carefully took Logan’s glasses off and turned off the TV before closing his eyes and falling asleep.
**The next morning**
Logan woke up first the following morning, still a little tired but feeling much better than he did the previous night. Vision blurry, the blind scholar felt around his nightstand for his glasses before realizing he was curled up into another person. He quickly got his specs on and saw the sleeping form of Remus below him, remembering that Remus had asked to stay with him the night before.
He looked at the sleeping creativity, who looked much more peaceful (and admittedly much cuter) asleep than he ever did awake. Still feeling somewhat tired, the Sherlock kinnie looked away and closed his eyes, feeling his face start to burn. When did he start thinking of Remus as “cute”?
Logan didn’t have too much time to dwell on it as he heard Remus start to stir. “Ugh… morning starshine…”
The teacher jumped and sighed. “Oh, good morning Remus. Did you sleep well?”
“Like an asphyxiated baby… you?” Remus groaned and stretched, waking up a bit more.
“I slept well too.” Logan fidgeted with his hands. The dark creativity, sensing the spectacled nerd’s unease, sat up and went to get off the bed. He was somewhat shocked to feel Logan tug on his sleeve. “Stay. I wanted to talk about what you said to me last night.”
“Oh… that.” Remus sighed and sat back on the bed. “What about it?”
“I… I’m not entirely sure what it feels like, but I think I reciprocate your feelings?”
Remus’s expression changed from slight concern to a poorly hidden malicious grin. “Oh? You’re into me?”
“I… think I am.” Logan nodded slightly.
The duke was silent for a moment before bursting into a grating cackle. “Oh- oh my god! Oh my god, you’re gonna kill me nerd!”
The scholarly side tensed up and blinked. “Excuse me?-”
“Are you fucking kidding me?! What kind of goddamn loser are you, to think I - or anyone really - would like you?! Especially after the bullshit you pulled yesterday, like Jesus Christ you’re pathetic!”
Logan’s heart sank as he heard Remus say this. “So you were, what, mocking me?!”
“No shit, Sherlock!” The intrusive side cackled once again before morphing into a huge octopus-human hybrid monster and grabbing the teacher. “You’re so fucking stupid! What on Earth made you think someone like me would like someone like you?! You’re lucky any of the others even talk to you anymore!”
Logan panicked as the tentacles pulled him up to Remus’s razor sharp teeth, about to chomp down on his head, when-
“Lo! Logan, wake up!” The logical side heard Remus’s voice coming from somewhere it should not have been, and Logan woke up with a start. Remus frowned as the teacher practically flung himself away from him.
“Get away from me!” Logan’s voice sounded frantic and panicked, like a cornered animal.
“Woah, woah!” The creativity held his hands up in surrender. “Teach, it’s me!”
The teacher took a few deep breaths and grounded himself, looking around. “...right, right… Apologies, Remus…”
“No problem, Nerdy Wolverine. Now, care to tell me what happened?”
Logan sighed and moved over to Remus, explaining to him his nightmare, tentatively telling the nightmare inducing side that he’d tried professing his mutual love to the other before getting horrendously mocked and belittled.
“Sounds a lot like my Nightmare Nico scenario. Has this happened before?” Remus had managed to ignore his thundering heartbeat and the cheering going on in his head - Logan likes me back!! He could focus on that later. Right now, Logan needed his help.
“No. I don’t normally dream, period, so to get a nightmare is extremely unprecedented.”
“Huh… so, I’m the reason you had the nightmare?”
“That would be the logical conclusion, though I had assumed that your effects would be… muffled, in my room?”
“Maybe it’s a mix of psychological and my effect on you guys? Like you were stressed or anxious about last night so my ability to give people nightmares got amplified?”
Logan nodded. “Interesting hypothesis, and it’s… definitely possible. I apologize for yelling at you earlier.”
Remus shrugged. “Eh, it’s okay, I’ve heard worse.”
The nerd nodded and the two were silent for a moment before Remus sighed and asked what they were both thinking. “So. I like you, and you… apparently like me back? What does that make us?”
Logan hesitated. “I… I’m not sure. What would you like us to be?”
The duke grinned. “How about boyfriends?”
The scholar smiled. “I think I’d like that.”
Remus beamed brighter and moved a bit before stopping. “Can I kiss you?”
Once again mildly surprised by the other’s bluntness, Logan nodded and scooted closer to the dark creativity. Remus quickly pulled the former into a kiss.
Logan was the first to pull away, flushed red and smiling to himself. “I think I could get used to this.”
Remus grinned and took the scholar’s hand. “Me too, Lo. Me too.”

Constellation Compendium: The Zodiac (part 1)
Tumblr media
We all know the 12 basic zodiac signs and what they represent, but what about their stories? This is a look into the mythology behind the zodiac constellations, and what some of their correspondences could be based on these myths.
Aries 🔥
In Hellenistic astrology, Aries is the ram which bore the golden fleece. Aries rescued Phrixos and Helle, children of king Athamas and his first wife Nephele. Ino, his second wife, was jealous of Nephele, and wished to kill Phrixos and Helle. To do this she induced a famine, then lied to Athamas saying that the oracle prophesised that sacrificing Phrixos would end the famine. Athamas climbed to the top of Mounth Laphystium. Nephele prayed to Zeus to help her children, and Zeus answered her prayers by sending Aries. Just as he was about to throw Phrixos off the mountain, Aries arrived to stop him. Unfortunately, Helle fell from Aries’s back during the flight, and drowned. Once returned, Phrixos sacrificed the ram to Zeus and gave the fleese to Aeetus in exchange for marriage to his daughter. Aeetus hung the fleece, known as the golden fleece, in a sacred place guarded by a dragon. In a later myth, the golden fleece was stolen by the hero Jason and the Argonauts.
Correspondences: action, heroism, recklessness, speed, fighting, sacrifice
Taurus 🐂
This constellation has been given myth and stories through the ages across many different cultures. For now, we’ll focus on the Greek mythology, because many other zodiac constellations are also found in greek myth. Taurus represents Zeus, who took the form of a white bull in order to abduct Europa, the Phonecian Princess. Some say that Taurus’s front half is only depicted to represent his submersion as he carried Europa out to sea, carrying her to the island of Crete where they had children. In other versions of the myth, Taurus represents Io, one of Zeus’s lovers whom he transformed into a bull to hide her from Hera.
Correspondences: love, escape, determination, renewal of life
Gemini ♊
This constellation is associated with the Greek myth of the twins Castor and Pollux. Castor was mortal, being son of a king, while Pollux was immortal, being son of Zeus. Castor was a good horseman, and Pollux was a good fighter. They were created to save sailors from trouble at sea. At sea, they were thought to appear as St. Elmo’s Fire. The twins joined the hero Jason on the Argo to save the ship from a terrible storm. When Castor died in battle, Pollux begged Zeus to make him immortal. Zeus granted his son’s wishes, placing them both in the sky as constellations, so that they could spend half of their time on Earth during the day, and the other half in the sky at night. Because of their heroic assistance to Jason and the Argo, when sailors saw both stars in the sky it was a sure sign of safe travels. However, only seeing one of the twins was bad luck.
Correspondences: siblings, safety, travel, teamwork, duality
Cancer 🌙
Cancer was the crab sent by Hera to destroy Heralces, her enemy. This is because Heracles was one of Zeus’s illegitimate children and Zeus’s power was stronger in him than the others. Cancer approached Heracles while he was fighting the Hydra, and latched onto his foot. Before killing the Hydra, Heracles turned to Cancer and killed the crab. To honor Cancer’s obedience and sacrifice, Hera placed it amongst the stars.
Correspondences: loyalty, hanging on, distraction, persistence, sacrifice
Leo ☀️
In Greek mythology, Leo is represented by the Nemean lion which was killed by Heracles in the first of his twelve labours. The Nemean lion would capture women and bring them to his cave in order to lure heroes to come and rescue them, only to fall to their demise. No weapons were able to kill this beast, so Heracles killed it with only his hands, breaking the lion’s back. Since the lion’s pelt was so invincible, Heracles took the lion’s own claw to skin the pelt from it’s back, and wore it as a cloak for protection. To commemorate the lion, Zeus placed it in the sky.
Correspondences: guard, protection, invincibility, lure, determination
Virgo 🌱
Virgo is associated with the goddess Demeter, usually depicted with an ear of corn, and symbolizing fertility and harvest. Sometimes it is alternatively linked to Astraea, goddess of innocence and purity. In the creation myth, when Zeus sent Pandora to Earth and she released plagues and suffering, the gods returned to the heavens one by one. Astraea was the last to leave Earth, making her the primary caretaker of humanity, and it is said that when the Golden Age comes again, Astraea will return to Earth. It is debated whether or not Virgo is represented by Astraea, or her mother Themis, goddess of justice.
Correspondences: purity, harvest, creation, life, fertility, choice, justice, humanity, caretaking
Libra ⚖
Libra is represented by the scales, said to be the scales that the goddess Astraea held. It is also linked to Themis, mother of Astraea, as they sit beside one another in the sky.
Correspondences: justice, balance, humanity, choice, caretaking
Scorpio 🌊
The story of Scorpio is intertwined with the story of Orion. The giant hunter was the son of Poseidon and Euryale, and became Artemis’s hunting partner. This made Apollo, twin of Artemis, jealous. He asked Mother Earth to create a giant scorpion to kill Orion. The scorpion stung and killed Orion, and Zeus placed them both in the sky. In other versions of the myth, Orion had claimed to want to hunt and kill every animal on the Earth. This angered Gaia, mother of the Earth, and she sent Scorpio to kill him. The scorpion stung Orion, and Gaia placed him in the sky for his bravery and for saving the lives of all the animals. During the winter, Orion was allowed to hunt freely, but as spring came Scorpio rose in the sky, chasing the Orion constellation out of the sky.
Correspondences: jealousy, hunting, overcoming adversity, ambition, chasing, “stinging”
Sagittarius 🏹
Though this post is mostly focused on Greek myth, the Sagittarius constellation becomes difficult to explain without discussing the Babylonian influence. For Babylonains, Sagittaruis represented the god Nergal, who was half horse half human and had a second panther’s head, as well as a scorpion’s tail, and fired a bow and arrow through the sky. This god was identified as “Chief Ancestor” or “Forefather.” In Greek mythology, Sagittarius is represented as a centaur, but the bow and arrow comes from earlier Sumerian myth. Some say that Sagittarius represents the centaur Chiron, who turned himself into half horse half man in order to escape his jealous wife Rhea, as well as tutor the hero Jason. Some argue that Centaurus, a different constellation, instead represents Chiron. It is also said that Chiron placed both Sagittarius and Centaurus in the sky as constellations to help guide the Argonauts in their quest for the golden fleece.
Correspondences: targets/aim, escape, freedom, guidance, journey, ancestors, mentorship, teaching, learning
Capricorn 🐐
This constellation is often described as Amalthea, the goat that nurtured baby Zeus after his mother Rhea saved him from being eaten by Cronus. Amalthea’s broken horn was represented as the cornocopia, or the horn of plenty. According to other Greek myths, Capricorn is the sea-goat Pricus. Pricus was god of all sea-goats, who were intelligent and loved by the gods. The sea-goats lived close to shore, eventually learning to walk on land and losing their ability to think and speak. Pricus turned back time in attempt to stop this from happening, but the sea-goats left him once more. Pricus did not want to be alone as the last remaining sea-goat, so he asked Cronus to let him die. Since Pricus was immortal, he could not die, but instead was able to live in the sky as a constellation.
Correspondences: time, fate, intelligence, stubbornness, acceptance, solitude, independence
Aquarius 🌀
Represented by Ganymede, who was a young man beautiful enough that Zeus transformed into an eagle and kidnapped him to make him cup-bearer for the gods. The neighboring constellation, Aquila, represents the eagle. In other myths, Aquarius is represented by Deucalion, who worked together with his wife to build a ship which would help them survive a flood. It is also noteable that in Egyptian mythology, Aquarius was associated with the annual flooding of the Nile, and in Babylonian mythology, it was again associated with destruction from flooding.
Correspondences: flooding, overwhelming, beauty, uniqueness, service, survival
Pisces 💫
Pisces, according to Greek myth, represents Aphrodite and her son Eros. The two turned themselves into koi fish in order to escape the wrath of Typhon, father of all monsters, who was attempting to destroy the gods upon Gaia’s wishes. Pan was the first to hear about the oncoming attack, so he warned the other gods before turning himself into a goat-fish and jumping into the Euphrates.
Correspondences: escape, hiding, concealing, warnings, safety
tip jar / donations

TAKE ME BACK ; tony stark
Tumblr media
summary: tony has been stuck in the benatar for twenty days, and all that’s keeping him going is the hope to be returned to his fiancee. prompt: astrophile; a person who loves stars; astronomy. requested? no pairings: tony stark/reader warnings: angst Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research. Thereby I do not own the rights to any of the characters shown in the below writing and all rights are reserved by Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Twenty days and twenty nights, Nebula says it’s been since Peter- since everyone turned to dust. In honesty Tony had already stopped counting, every day and every night looked the same to him, though he supposed someone who had lived up here for their entire life might know the difference. A more simple answer is that Nebula is actually a robot alien and probably knows a whole lot more than him about space. These days, Tony thinks he knows more than he should, anyway. It’s always something to do with space. In New York, aliens had reigned down on the city and he, and the others, although he hated to admit that they’d done anything when in the grand scheme, it was his almost sacrifice that had inevitably saved the day; had fought them off in turn. In Sokovia when they’d attacked the hydra base, Tony had got inside and Wanda, granted back then she’d been manipulated and her mind had been messed with to the point that her backstory resembled something out of a Stephen King novel; had done all sorts of weird shit to his brain, and once again he’d been in space, only this time figuratively- and it had eventually managed to drive him to almost indirectly destroying the world.
Now, Peter is dead. Strange is dead, his magic carpet cape gone with him; and the Guardians of the Galaxy are gone too (though he hadn’t cared too much about them in truth, until it was too late to care). And he and Nebula are trapped in some janky space plane with nowhere to go until someone comes and rescues them... if someone comes and rescues them. There’d been no communication with anyone aside from each other, and although Nebula was good enough company for the not-actually-that-long a time he’d been in the Millennium Falcon, her voice reminded him of Darth Vader and was starting to grate on his nerves.
Thus, Tony had navigated his way to the front of the ship, with the greatest of difficulty. His legs were unsteady and could barely hold his weight, and he’d had to use any surface he could literally get his hands on to get there. If he hadn’t been the most stubborn man in quite possibly the universe, he’d have given up before he’d have even managed to pull himself out of his chair. But he was, and so now he stood with his legs curled up to his thinning chest, and his chocolate eyes were staring out into the vast blackness before them.
His eyes danced across every star he could see, and then some. Most of them were harsh light that hurt his eyes and made spots dance in his vision, but he didn’t care. The memories that twirled across the forefront of his mind, though... They pushed him onward. Lips pursed, Tony could just about make out the general shape of what he remembered Y/N telling him was Cygnus. He remembered them, with their untameable hair and their mocha skin, and their warm brown eyes that shone like pools of honey in the sun, telling him all about the constellations. It was a simpler time, and with a great sigh, Tony let himself fall into it. “See?” they laughed, pointing up at a particularly bright star. “That one is Deneb, the tail of the swan. If you look at that and then follow it up, you’ll see Cygnus.” They chattered on, their smile almost as bright as the stars they listed. Tony found his breath catching in his throat as he looked at them, their eyes wide with wonder, brows raised as they looked up at the stars they oh so loved.
He looked away as he noticed their head turning to look at him, just barely managing to catch the star they were pointing at before their hand fell to his shoulder and their head rested on their hand. He moved, angling his head so that his jaw rested in her wild locks, and all was quiet for a moment, save for the light humming of whichever gadget Tony had been toying with now discarded at his side.
“What’s the story of that one?” he asked, eyes falling to look at their face as their features lit up, happily taking the invitation to keep talking about what they loved. “Well, there are two. The first is that Cygnus was actually Zeus in disguise as a swan, for he could not resist the beauty of the Spartan queen, Leda, whose beauty was unmatched-” they were stopped in their attempts at talking by Tony’s interruption, and they looked up to meet eyes with said man as the words fell from his lips, “Like you.”
They could feel the heat rise to their cheeks, but chose not to reply and instead continued with the story. “The other story is of two friends who were racing chariots in space. They didn’t notice that they’d gone too close to the sun, and so their chariots began to melt and they fell to the earth. One fell through trees which broke his fall, but the other fell into the river unconscious. The first friend wanted to rescue the other, but didn’t know how to swim, and he asked Zeus to turn him into a swan so that he could rescue his friend. Zeus did, and the friend was rescued, and when the first friend died Zeus put him in the sky so that we would always be reminded of courage and friendship.” and the story finished.
Tony looked down at them, his brows pulled into a frown although his thoughts were far from unpleasant, “That’s a beautiful story.” he spoke, nuzzling his face further into their hair, they’d kill him tomorrow but he didn’t want to move and for now let the silence embrace them both, eyes closing as the air brushed his face. His eyes opened again when they spoke, and it pulled a frown across his face again, thinking back on his experiences. “One day, I want to go to space.” they’d said, and though Tony wanted to tell them that it wasn’t as great as they thought it would be, he couldn’t bare to let them down.
“You will, little swan. One day.”

in the end, we lie awake (and we dream of making our escape)
(click on title for AO3 link, or read more to continue here)
They could go to Alaska.
Annabeth wasn’t sure when she’d woken up. She’d been asleep at some point, of that she was certain, because Tartarus’s poisonous, suffocating air had been a heavy shroud on her senses, and for a moment she had borne it with a dreamlike paralysis before gasping awake to a sky full of glittering stars. Then she had lain there in one of Camp’s rolling fields, breathing in the sweet scent of strawberries. Safe, the scent said. Familiar. Safe. Just a nightmare like any other, and she could feel Percy sleeping next to her, warm and still.
They could go to Alaska.
They could. They totally could.
Percy rolled over in his sleep, hands pillowed under his head. Annabeth traced Andromeda in the stars. Bound and gagged and sacrificed by her parents.
“Percy?” Her voice came out a whisper. “Percy, do you want to go?”
Percy didn’t stir. She knew she only had to ask and he would wake, but she didn’t want to. Sleep was so hard to come by these days for both of them, and she could not rob him of it, no matter how viciously her throat burned with tears.
What would they do in Alaska? What would they not do in Alaska? The gods’ bidding for one.
They couldn’t get there by plane. Or boat, to be honest. It was okay. They’d drive, make a road trip out of it.
“Annabeth?” Fuck. There was a shifting noise next to her. Fuck. It seemed she had woken him, despite everything. She didn’t turn to look at him. “Hey, Annabeth, you okay?”
“Go back to sleep.”
“I could say the same thing to you,” Percy said, and now he was starting to sit up, hair adorably mussed. “Wouldn’t be an easy feat for you either.” True enough. Since Tartarus, once they were awake, they were awake.
“I’m okay,” she said. Hushed, she repeated, “Percy, do you want to go?”
Andromeda had probably screamed. When her parents had told her, she’d probably screamed. Begged. Fought.
Annabeth had never been able to place how the ancient heroes might have looked. She had stared at grainy old pictures in the mythology books, heroes of old rendered in colour, but Chiron had said the pictures were an imperfect likeness, and he had said this sadly. He had said he remembered them in crystal clarity—Achilles’s swift frown, and the sharp glint in Atlanta’s eyes and the sad slope of Heracles’s shoulders and Perseus with his bright smile—but he hadn’t volunteered any more than that. He had told her that it didn’t matter, how they had once looked, because he remembered them well enough in his mind. It was enough.
But Annabeth saw the photos in Chiron’s office, taken in careful focus, marking the end of every summer, meticulous in record. She saw it in his old eyes.
Annabeth had never been able to place how the ancient heroes might have looked. No mortal rendition did them justice.
There was one exception though, an ancient face who Annabeth had been unable to distinguish in her mind from a modern replica—Andromeda. Her face cleaved in sorrow and anguish, affixed on the mast of a monster infested cruise liner. A masthead that screamed through her gag, screamed through centuries.
Princess Andromeda. Let down by the gods, and her parents.
A stifled yawn. “Go where?”
Annabeth waited only a beat. “Alaska.”
It was a long, stilling moment in which Annabeth had thought Percy had fallen asleep, after all. Then—
“You?” Percy asked, lying back down. He blinked blearily at her. “You with the Yankee’s cap? You want to leave New York?”
“I just—“ Annabeth shrugged, a move made complicated by the grass and her lying down. “They can’t find us there.”
“Hm,” Percy said. He tugged her closer to him. His eyes were closed, but he was clearly very awake. He rested his chin on the top of her head, arms around her in a loose embrace. “The gods?”
Annabeth laughed. It sounded a little helpless. “Who else?”
“Alaska’s cold. And far.”
“We’d manage.”
Percy hummed in acknowledgment.
“We’d be leaving behind the gods,” Annabeth said.
“We’d be leaving behind a lot of people.”
“We could take them with us,” Annabeth said. “We could take them all with us. We’d grab Grover, and your Mom, and Paul and your baby sister and just go. We’d leave in the dead of night, but we’d write letters to everyone else, explaining. I know what I’d say to each person already.” Thank you, she’d scribble. I love you. I’m sorry.
I hope you understand. They’d understand. They’d wish they’d got the plan before, for themselves, but they’d say, in resigned commiseration, Well, that’s Annabeth. She’s always got a plan.
“Plane?”
“No. Car. We’d hammer out those Pegasus hoof prints from the Prius and drive. Take the long way.”
“And we’d go to school there?”
“If you want,” Annabeth said. “Or we could just—we could not. We could just live there. Live out the rest of the days. Send postcards to Thalia. It would be boring. Really boring. But we could go.”
“Sounds like you’ve thought about this a lot,” Percy mumbled into her hair.
She had. She had and she hadn’t. Her brain hadn’t put two and two together until tonight, but the pieces were always there, ripe for taking. Percy had told her about New Rome when he had told her about his quest to save Thanatos, breathless and disbelieving and triumphant, a life for us! Undeniable proof of a life for people like them, a whole life and death in peace. In happiness. With cafes and libraries and a University and a house and friends and old age. But Annabeth had paid attention to the wrong parts of the story, had caught herself on Alaska and land beyond the gods and escape.
In the Cocytus, miserable, she had thought about New Rome. At the Acheron, inconsolable, she had thought of New York. But with every unbearable sip of the Phlegethon she had thought to herself: stop. Stop. Stop.
Alaska was where it would stop.
Would Andromeda have run?
“New York’s a—“ Charnel house. My safe haven. A graveyard. The only land I’ve ever loved. Home and hollow, somehow both at once. “New York’s just a place. We’d be able to be happy anywhere.”
Percy loved New York. With every fibre of his being, he loved it, she knew that. Of course she knew. She loved it just as much. But they had lost so much already, walked across minefields of loss anyway; losses far greater—the absence of innocence, the absence of family, the absence of the weight of the world on your shoulders, the phantom of a beloved knife gripped in your empty hand, the places in your heart where friends who you should have grown up with lingered, because they could no longer linger in the living world. So much they had lost already. Leaving behind a place was nothing in the face of that.
“Do you want to go?” Percy asked.
“Would you come, if I did?”
He’d followed her into hell. Alaska was nothing.
One more loss: a hand in hand, knuckles white with effort. The loss of land against foot, a weak ankle dragging you into hell. The loss of your grip on a ledge, a hand clawing at empty air.
“Yes,” Percy said simply. “I’d come.”
They didn’t need a car. She would run there, if she had to. Dead of night. Hand in hand.
“What do you think you’d be,” Annabeth asked, “if you weren’t a demigod?”
“Oh, that’s easy,” Percy said, smiling dopily. “Untraumatized.”
They laughed. It wasn’t a funny joke, but there was a bitter edge to it that dug out a laugh from her.
“What would you want to be, if you weren’t a demigod?” Percy asked.
“I don’t know. An architect itself, maybe?” She didn’t know where her interests started becoming an Athena kid’s interest. She didn’t know how much of it was just her and her life experiences, and how much of it was her mother’s influence. “Or...oh god, I don’t know. Sky diver? Who knows.”
“I can actually see that,” Percy said. “See you, I mean. Skydiving.”
“Really?”
“Sure. You’ve fallen off enough cliffs.”
Annabeth let her head thud gently against his chest, laughing. “Oh, screw you.”
Percy grinned. “Hey, it’s true.”
“And you’d follow me then? As a skydiver?”
“Oh, you betcha. Zeus wouldn’t even be trying to kill me, so there’s like, zero danger.”
“Except diving to your death.”
“Right. Except that.”
Annabeth could feel her chest loosening, Tartarus’s stench lifting. She smiled. “Do you think we’d have met each other?”
“If we weren’t demigods?”
“Mm.”
Percy frowned as he stared up at the sky; he was staring up at Andromeda too. “Well, I hope we would have.”
“Yeah, no duh.”
“I’d never have learnt about constellations otherwise,” Percy said. “Or appreciate how many times a person can get into an argument about gothic revival architecture.”
“It happened twice.”
“Well, it happened in the first place is the point. And I’m not complaining.”
“I’d never have been able to appreciate blue food,” Annabeth said. “No one to debate about orcs with.”
“Uh, no debating either way? It’s usually me just telling you facts, you arguing about them, and then me finding an orc to settle the score. So.”
“Fuck off,” Annabeth said, grinning, “you’ve been wrong about sea creatures before, too, and you’re literally related to most of them.”
“Well, you’re wrong about gothic revival architecture apparently, since you keep fighting about it with people.”
Annabeth shook her head, smiling. Percy laughed and laid his head back down, closing his eyes. They were like that for a while, content in a smiling silence.
“I don’t want to actually go to Alaska,” Annabeth said finally. “I just want to—I want to go to a land beyond the gods.”
Percy’s hand stroked her hair. It was cold, soft. “You had a bad dream.” It was not a question.
She sighed and closed her eyes, bundled against his chest. “It’s a good plan though. Alaska.” It was not an answer.
“Was it Tartarus?” This was not a question either.
She didn’t answer.
“You know,” Percy said. “I didn’t—I never wanted this. To be a demigod. I would come with you Annabeth, if you asked.”
“It was Tartarus,” Annabeth said. “It was a bad dream.”
Percy kissed her forehead. He didn’t say anything, but he didn’t need to. Annabeth could feel tears trail down her cheeks, a burn like the Phlegethon.
“I wish we could go away,” Annabeth said. “I wish—I wish we could escape the gods.” She could not escape her mind. This was the next best thing.
“Tartarus,” Annabeth said. “Tartarus was beyond the gods too. I want to believe that beyond the gods can be good, too.”
Percy was quiet next to her. “We could do it too,” Percy said. “Together.”
It was tempting. There was no guarantee it would work, and there was no guarantee it would end with both of them happy, but it was tempting.
“I’m going to buy a postcard,” Annabeth said. “Of Alaska. Just to remind me that there’s a place. Beyond them.”
“Print one off the net.”
“Hm. That’d be better. Cheaper.”
“Yeah.”
“It was a good plan, though,” Annabeth said, sighing. “Shame it’s never going to happen.”
“You’ll make a new one. A better plan.” Percy smiles at her, eyes crinkling in the corners. “Hey, you’re Annabeth Chase. You’ve always got a plan.”
It was a safety net, freely offered. So many losses, so many absences, in a short life, but Annabeth felt, at once, a thousand different presences: a life saving hold at the bottom of the Siren Sea, a hug in an empty cabin, a kiss in the swirling volcano of their youth, a squeeze of pain and prophecy, the sweet kiss of blue frosting, the pressure of a hand in hers, knuckles white with effort. A warm body tucked into her on a lazy night, the air sweet as strawberries.
“Okay, for now, Plan B,” Annabeth said. “I’ve got it. It’s temporary, but it’ll do.”
“So soon?” Percy looked curious. “What is it?”
Annabeth cupped his face and closed the distance between them. Grass tickled her cheek. “Kiss me.”

Constellation tales
Tumblr media
In New Horizons, if you show a Star Fragment of one of the Zoidac Signs to Celeste, you get a story of that constellation, so here are the tales of each the twelve zodiac signs.
"There are many tales and stories about Aries. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away... There were a pair of royal twins named Phrixus and Helle whose stepmother, the queen, hated them. When one of the queen's schemes put the twins' lives in peril, their mother prayed to Zeus for help. A flying sheep with golden fleece descended from the heavens and rescued the twins! Zeus commemorated the event by hanging the image of the sheep in the stars as the constellation, Aries. Did you notice how Zeus celebrates things Zeus did for Zeus's followers by hanging things in Zeus's sky?"
"There are many tales and stories about Taurus. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...An extraordinarily beautiful princess called Europa was picking flowers with her servants by the sea. She was approached by a lovely white bull that seemed very friendly, so Europa hopped on its back. As she did so, the bull suddenly took off, dashing across the ocean in a most unbull-like way. The bull, it turned out, was the god, Zeus, who had fallen for Europa...but he had trouble with boundaries. The constellation, Taurus, honors the great bull, and Europa herself has a whole continent named for her! But, continent names aside, I imagine Europa would have preferred it if Zeus simply asked her to tea." "There are many tales and stores about Gemini. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The great god, Zeus, had twin sons named Castor and Pollux, who were both brave warriors. While the brothers were very close and alike, only Pollux had inherited Zeus´s immortality. When Castor eventually died, the grieving Pollux prayed to share his immortality with his brother. Zeus took pity and turned the twins into constellation, Gemini, so they would always be together. I suppose the lesson of this story is that, occasionally, even Zeus does something for someone else."
"There are many tales and stories about Cancer. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...There was a monster called the Hydra poisoning a spring that was a kingdom's main water supply. When the great hero Heracles heard about this, he set out to rid the land of the beast. Just as Heracles was about to land the finishing blow, the Hydra's friend, a crab, arrived to help it out. But the crab was no match for Heracles, who stepped on it and crushed it instantly. The brave crab, was immortalized in the stars as the constellation, Cancer. If only everyone was so lucky as to have a friend who come running when they're in a pinch!" "There are many tales and stories about Leo. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...There was a mighty lion with unbreakable skin that menaced the forest of Nemea. The great hero Heracles fought the beast and defeated it with nothing but his incredible strength! The goddess Hera placed the lion in the stars as the constellation, Leo, to honor its fight with the hero. I'm not usually the one to gossip, but I believe there may have been bad blood between Hera and Heracles!" "There are many tales and stories about Virgo. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...Persephone, daughter of Demeter was picking flowers when she was abducted by Hades, god of the dead. Demeter was the goddess of the harvest, and she was so upset that all crops stopped growing! Eventually, mother and child were reunited, but only for part of each year, which is why we have seasons. The constellation, Virgo, is depicted as a young woman holding wheat, in honor of this story. Between you and me, I think Demeter was suffering from what we call "empty-nest syndrome.""
"There are many tales and stories about Libra. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The goddess of justice, Astrea, had a set of scales that could measure whether someone was good or bad. But she didn't have much use for them...until Pandora opened the box that brought evil into the world. I guess someone thought they were interesting enough to hang in the sky as the constellation, Libra, though. I do wonder why she had those scales already, though...Were the gods...up to something?" "There are many tales and stories about Scorpio. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...There was a very skilled hunter named Orion who boasted often of his abilities. Orion's arrogance angered the gods, who sent a poisonous scorpion to sting him to death. The goddess Artemis, who had always been fond of Orion, arranged for him to become a constellation. But he still feared scorpions, which is why his constellation and Scorpio are never seen together. Personally, I try to learn from this tale by being humble about my skills as an astronomer and DIY enthusiast."
"There are many tales and stories about Sagittarius. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The half-man, half-horse creatures called centaurs were a rowdy, troublesome bunch....With the exception of Chiron, who was very wise as well as a gifted healer. But Chiron got mixed in a battle between Heracles and the centaurs, and was hit by a poisoned arrow. But the poison could not kill Chiron, because he was an immortal being with divine parents. The god Zeus saw his disconfort and took pity on him, raising him into the sky as a constellation. Immortality is one of those things that seem cool, but... it's probably not for everyone."
"There are many tales and stories about Capricorn. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The gods were enjoying a fantastical banquet by a river when the terrible monster Typhon appeared! Unprepared as they were for a fight, the gods assumed various animal shapes and fled with all speed. But Pan, the goatish god of shepherds, jumped into the river, transforming as he did so. Perhaps because he was so shocked, he did not finish changing himself into a fish, only changed his tail. The chief god, Zeus, was highly amused at the sight of a goatfish, and hung the image in the stars. I feel sort of bad for Pan in that story, having a constellation based on this embarrassing incident...It would be like someone making a billboard of you while you were changing your clothes!"
"There are many tales and stories about Aquarius. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The gods found themselves in need of a cupbearer to refresh their drinks as they lounged on Mount Olympus. Zeus, in the form of a great eagle, spotted an astonishingly hansome young man named Ganymede. He, er, convinced Ganymede to serve on Mount Olympus, though it meant he would never see his family again. To console Ganymede's parents, Zeus hung the cupbearer's image in the stars so they could see him. Before hearing this story, I had no idea there was so much drama in the lives of the extremely attractive!"
"There are many tales and stories about Pisces. This is my favorite: Long ago and far away...The gods were enjoying a fantastical banquet by a river when the terrible monster Typhon appeared! As the gods ran, Aphrodite tied herself to her son Eros with a rope so that they wouldn't be separated. They then turned into fish and fled, which is why Pisces is often depicted as two fish connected by a rope." (Also, note that I typed all of these, except for the Pisces, Aries and Taurus descriptions that were already on the wiki, and then I put the rest there. Pls give me validation)

tell me a story
Tumblr media
In which Lucas Lallemant is in love with the stars.
- -
Lucas Lallemant has always been fascinated by the unknown.  By the pure knowledge, and space, and just the thrum of excitement by the way his mind likes to fade away and hurt when he thinks too much about existence and purpose and how everything started.
He remembers hanging up little glow in the dark stars on his bedroom ceiling as a little kid, lying down on his bed and pointing up at each little dot, a huge smile stretching up his lips.  “That’s Ursa Minor, and Andromeda, and …”
He remembers his fascination for the stars and despite the inconsistencies and skepticism, he falls in love with both astronomy and astrology, searching through his mom’s newspapers for clippings of daily horoscope and searching up internet articles about the position of the stars.
He compares the knowledge and he compares the idea of predicting the future, and he feels that he finds a place where he can belong.
So when Eliott invites him over and suddenly Lucas finds himself standing on Eliott’s balcony and staring up at the sky, he thinks he could actually melt.
Lucas’ eyes are so wide, and all the knowledge comes back.  The constellations, and the planets, and then the position of the stars, rising and falling signs, the outline of the moon and oh, it’s waning tonight.
“You do this often?” Eliott startles him out of his trance, and when Lucas turns to look, Eliott’s lips are curved into a smile and the look in his eyes is so intense and warm, and special.
“No,” Lucas says truthfully, eyes taking a far off look.  “Not anymore.”
“Why not?”
Lucas swallows.  “Busy, I guess.”
Eliott senses the lie, seems to always be able to tell when Lucas lies, but he just shrugs and nudges Lucas’ shoulder.  “I come out here because it’s hard to sleep.  So I like to look at the stars, you know?”  Eliott’s smile grows wistful.  “Makes me feel like I belong.  A little.”
“You fall in love with everything,” Lucas smiles, turning his gaze from the sky to his hands.  “Is there something you don’t like?”
Eliott snorts.  “Mushrooms.  And cleaning.”
Lucas laughs.  He turns his gaze back up to the stars, and before he knows it, he’s blurting out the words that are gathering in his mind and begging to be let out.  “That’s Orion.  See,” he reaches out and points to the small constellation in the sky, “he’s got a club and a shield.”
Eliott’s eyes dance, and the light of the moon illuminates his cheekbones and the warmth in his eyes, and he’s fucking gorgeous.  “Where?”  He holds out his hand, pointing somewhere.  “Here?”
Lucas shakes his head, stifling laughter.  He gently moves Eliott’s hand and has him point somewhere off to the right.  “There.”
“What’s its story?”
“Hm?”
“The story,” Eliott presses.  “Constellations have stories.  I bet you know it.”
Lucas feels himself blush.  Because he does.  “He’s a hunter, liked to brag a lot.  He bragged so much, Gaia got mad --”
“The earth goddess?”
“--yes, and she made this scorpion go after him.”
“So he died?”
“No.  Well, yes, but not like that.  Then Apollo comes in, you know, Artemis’ brother, and tells her to shoot him because it’s an enemy.  And she does, but she finds out it’s Orion, who’s like her friend.”
“So this constellation is like, what, a memoir?”
Lucas tilts his head.  “Yeah, actually.”
He shivers, tucking his hands in his pockets.  “I thought you of all people would know the constellations.”
Eliott shrugs, amused.  “Why’s that?”
“You’re like this, artist type.”
Eliott bursts into laughter.  “And?”
Lucas is about to respond but shivers again.  “Fuck.  It’s freezing.”
“Stay here.”
Lucas furrows his eyebrows, watches as Eliott disappears through the sliding glass door, and then vanishes from sight.
Lucas turns back to the sky, watching the lights flicker and pulse, and he thinks that despite everything, he’s a little glad that they’re still there.  Stars are constant, Lucas thinks, and he needs that.  Needs something to ground him.
“You look lost in thought,” Eliott remarks when he finally comes back, the glass door sliding open.
Lucas immediately feels warmth engulf him, and he turns to see Eliott wrapping a comforter over his shoulders, making sure it’s all around Lucas’ body.
“You just randomly had this lying around?”
“No,” Eliott says, as if it’s the most normal thing in the world, “I just pulled it from my bed.  I’ll put it back later.”
Lucas snorts.  “You what?  You do realize there’s something called a blanket?  Which is why you don’t have to do this?”
Eliott nudges him in the ribs, but Lucas doesn’t feel it at all because the duvets around him are so warm and big.
“Tell me another story,” Eliott says, staring at Lucas.
“Okay.”  Lucas thinks about it for a while, sees the constellation Andromeda, and feels his heart start to burst with knowledge.  He remembers hearing these stories from his mom, remembers reading them late at night when he was supposed to be asleep, and feels incredibly thankful that he hasn’t forgotten them.  “Andromeda’s supposed to be Cassiopeia’s daughter.  Cassiopeia thought she was the most beautiful woman, and Zeus got really angry because he thought the sea nymphs he made were the most beautiful.”
“Of course he did,” Eliott says, voice warm.
“So he made Cetus, this sea monster, and had it terrorize the oceans.  Cassiopeia was going to sacrifice Andromeda by chaining her to a rock, but Perseus, who killed Medusa, saved her by turning Cetus to stone.  Then they married.”
Lucas turns to look at Eliott, and his heart stops.  Eliott isn’t even looking at the stars.  He’s gazing at Lucas, eyes warm, and Lucas thinks that Eliott’s eyes are so intense, and he blushes.  “What?”
“Hm?”
“Why’re you looking at me like that?”  Lucas squeezes the duvets around him tighter.  “It’s weird, isn’t it?  That I know so much about them?”
“No,” Eliott says quickly.  “You just lit up when you were talking about them.”
“It’s weird,” Lucas says again, face red.  “You should’ve told me to shut up.”
“Why would I?  It’s beautiful.”
Lucas feels his heart stop.  “Beautiful?”
“You’re in love with the stars, Lucas.  There’s this wonder written all over your face, and it’s beautiful.”
Lucas stares at Eliott for a while.  He feels himself staring at Eliott with that same wonder, feels his heart bursting and a smile tugging at his lips.
Eliott shivers.
“What the fuck, why aren’t you wearing a jacket or anything?” Lucas snaps out of his trance, eyes narrowing.  “You went to go get me a huge comforter, and you didn’t even get yourself anything?”
Eliott shrugs.  “We could share.”
“Of course we’re sharing, you’re not freezing to death.”  He shifts closer to Eliott, wrapping the duvets around Eliott’s shoulders.
And then he freezes.  He’s just now realizing how close he is to Eliott, feels the brush of Eliott’s arm against his, feels the chill of his skin, feels so impossibly warm and thinks he might burn up.
“Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” Lucas says.  “Great.”
“You look flustered.”
Lucas blushes.  He looks up at Eliott and feels his heart do a little flip because Eliott’s smirking at him, and fuck, Eliott knows.
“No.”
Eliott raises an eyebrow, still smirking.  “Okay.”
Lucas thinks that’s it, that Eliott’s just going to drop it, but then Eliott’s moving closer to Lucas, and he can feel Eliott’s chest behind him and oh shit, Eliott’s resting his head on Lucas’ shoulder.
“I’m cold,” Eliott says, and his breath fawns against Lucas’ ear.
“Then get yourself a fucking jacket,” Lucas retorts, face red.
Eliott’s so close that Lucas can feel his laughter, and Lucas really has to resist the urge to melt right into Eliott.
“Want to tell me another story?” Eliott asks innocently.
“No,” Lucas says.  “You’re just going to stare at me and not even pay attention.”
Eliott pouts.  “Is that a bad thing?”
Lucas gives him a deadpan stare.
“Okay, fine.  How about I tell you a story?”
Lucas feels himself snort.  “Okay.”
Eliott pulls away from Lucas, shuffles forward so that they’re both standing at the edge of the balcony, staring out at the night sky.
“Once there was this raccoon,” Eliott begins after a while, “and he met this hedgehog.”
Lucas feels his breath catch in his throat.
“This raccoon was really sad because he didn’t know anyone, but when he saw the hedgehog, it was like everything was going to be okay again.  This hedgehog was always talking about the stars and constellations, and the raccoon liked to listen to the stories but he also really liked looking at the hedgehog instead.  Because the hedgehog is really, really beautiful but doesn’t realize it.”  Eliott’s voice drops, and he turns to look at Lucas, eyes careful.  “And the raccoon wants to know if maybe this hedgehog might like him back.”
Lucas looks up at Eliott with wide eyes.  “I think the raccoon knows the answer to that already,” he whispers.
Eliott smiles, then bites his lip.  “And what’s that answer?”
Lucas feels his heart swelling, thinks he could just about collapse from happiness.  “I think the raccoon’s more important to him than any constellation.”
The smile that spreads across Eliott’s lips is so bright, so unbelievably happy, and Lucas feels himself gravitating closer to Eliott.
Eliott kisses him, kisses him in the nighttime with the moonlight and the stars in the sky, and when he pulls away, his eyes are warm and happy, and so, so bright.
Lucas can feel his fingers brushing against Eliott’s, and he grabs Eliott’s hand, interlacing their fingers.  “You’re freezing.”
“So are you.”
“I want to hear another story,” Lucas whispers, resting his head against Eliott’s shoulder.  “Yours are better than mine.”
Eliott wraps an arm around Lucas, and with the duvet and this new warmth, Lucas thinks that he wants to stay out here forever.
“Okay.  But only if you pay attention.”
“No promises.”
Eliott laughs, and he presses another kiss to Lucas’ lips.
Lucas thinks he hasn’t been happier.

series masterlist || ch. 1 || ch. 2 || ch. 3 || ch. 4 || ch. 5 || ch. 6
It had been a week since christmas and since you arrived in The Avengers Tower, and it was the best week of your life. Everyone treated you so well, even Steve, who seemed be against you staying. You almost forgot everything that happened before. Almost.
You’re looking at the sunset from your window. I new year was going to begin. A new year. To you was just another year without Tracy. Without your best friend. Another year that she was killed.
Tracy loved sunsets. She always said that it was when the magic happened. Magic. It was she believed. And for your surprise, you’re starting to believe too.
You hear a knock on the door, and wipes the unnoticed tears from your face.
“Kid?” You hear Mr. Stark’s voice. “Can I come in?”
You run to the door and open to him.
“Hey.” You give him room to enter and sit on the bed. He's there looking at you, examining. “Are you okay? You’ve been quiet today. Almost didn’t ate anything and is in your room all day. What’s going on?” He sit besides you, seeing yours sad eyes.
I’m not gonna cry. I’m not gonna cry. I’m not gonna cry.
You raise your watch, and a hologram with a artigo online said: “Famous ballet dancer is killed.” The date was down below. Tony closes his eyes tightly.
“It’s today?” He asks, pain in all over his voice.
You low your head, feeling the tears almost there.
“Oh, God, Y/N. I’m so sorry.” He looks at you, wanting to take all pain from you. Didn’t you suffer enough already? “It’s okay if I give you a hug?”
You nods with your head low, and he crossed his arms around you protectively. When you starts to sob, Tony breaks.
“Oh, baby girl… I’m sorry. I’m so sorry… It’s okay. I’ve got you. I’ve got you.” Tony let you cry and just stays there, giving you support, like he wanted somebody had made to him.
You cried like you never let yourself cry. Like you was never allowed to cry before. You misses your mother so much, you misses your life. You missed all the afternoons that the two of you just sat in the couch in watched a bunch of movies. You missed your best friend.
But surprisingly enough, Mr. Stark arms was a good place to cry. Warm and cozy. Protective, like he promised.
You don’t know how long you two stayed there. All you know, it’s that, at some point, the hurt and pain wasn’t so cushing. The hurt was still there, but it wasn’t so overwhelming anymore.
When the sobs wasn’t so strongs, Tony pushes you just enough to look at you.
“I’m here with you. You’re not alone anymore. Okay?”
Tony don’t know if it was the right thing to say. Besides, you wouldn’t be there much longer, and he know he’s already attached to you. But in that moment, he didn’t cared about none of it. He just wants you to feel better. He’s just saying what he wanted to hear when he was in your place.
Okay. I believe in you.
You nods and wipe some tears.
“Good.” He smiles and wipe some others tears. “Now, we could play some Mario Kart. What do you say?”
You smile and nod.
You’re really happy to have found Mr. Stark.
Tony decided not do anything too big for New Year. Although you seemed to like it the Christmas, he recognized that you deserved a little rest, after all you wasn’t familiarize to anything of that.
So things were just like that. They got together and sat on the big table.
“I can’t believe that we’re gonna to another year.” Rhodey shake his head.
“Yeah, man. Time flows by.” Sam sits on the chair, looking tired.
Bucky approaches you, and sit besides you.
“How you doin’ kiddo? You seemed distant today.”
Bucky and you got really closed on the passed days. The quiet ways on the both of you got them closed. And Bucky seemed really worried about you.
You strugs and show her watch.
Bucky eyes go wide for a moment.
“I’m sorry, kiddo. This must be hard.” He looks down.
You grab his hands and gives him a smile, he returns to you, looking proud.
“You’re really strong kid, Y/N.”
Yeah, I’m brave, strong and broken all at once.
“Alright folks, play attention in me, please.” Tony said, getting up. All faces was on him. “This year, we had many losts, many reasons to cry and be broken. But we also had reasons to joy. I’ve met some people who totally changed our ways to live, and also proposed the love of my life, and also, put my family back together.” You chuckles and some of them opened a smile. “But that’s what means be a family. Always accept one more, have our fights but in the end, be back together. I’m really proud of us. I… really hope next year be even better.”
Some of them clapped and opened smiles even bigger.
You look at them, and for a moment, everything is in slow motion.
For a long, long time, you didn’t know what was the meaning of family. But looking at them, you started to understand again. you started to feel more and more part of there. Part of something bigger.
It was almost midnight, and you don’t feel hopeless. you feel complete.
Tony sits down again and kisses Pepper, drinking his juice. “Kid, come here. I wanna show you something. Grab your coat. Is cold.” He didn’t expected an answer, and got up. You frowns and grab your coat, following him.
Did I did something wrong?
He walks to the elevator and asks Friday to take them to the roof. When the elevator stopped, he didn’t opened the door.
“Okay, now, you close your eyes.”
You narrow your eyes to him.
“Come on, kid. Don’t you trust me?” He smiles.
You slowly close your eyes and feel he grabs your hand and start to walk forward. You give somes steps then stops.
“Okay, you can open your eyes now.”
You do so, and one more time, you lose your breath. You’re in the top of the tower, all city toward you. blinkers of all colours illuminated the place.
You bring your hands to your mouth.
“I figured that we could watch the fireworks here. Pepper and Peter are coming too.”
You looked at him with grateful eyes.
“Here, let’s sit.” He picks up the blankets and puts them on the floor. You sit there and look at the sky. The stars seemed to brighter more up there.
“Do you see that constellation?” He points to two sets of stars that seem to complete. “We call them Big Dipper. You know the story behind in mythology?” He asked, looking at you.
You look at him and shake your head.
“Well..” He looks back to the sky “Callisto was the daughter of the King of Arcadia, a young woman of indescribable beauty, which aroused Zeus's interest. Despite her delicacy, she was strong and brave, famous for being a beast hunter. Knowing the husband's passion for the maiden, Hera becomes jealous and turns her into a bear. Calisto then goes on to experience the situations of a new world, since it stops being a hunter and happens to be the hunt. Some time later he came upon a hunter and recognized him; his son Arcas. Callisto couldn’t resist the memories and went to him to embrace him. Sensing the tragedy that was about to happen, Zeus intervened and transformed Callisto into the constellation of the Big Dipper and his Son in the Little Dipper, placing them in the sky, to be always together.”
You see a bit of sadness in Tony, as he tell the tale.
“I always found myself very attractive to this story. The family who was separate, but end up together in the last.”
You pulls a lock of hair away from your face as you continues to stare at him, and he continues to stare up at the sky.
“My mom always told me this when I was younger.” He looks down.
You come close to him and put your head in his shoulder.
“Thanks, kiddo.”
You two stayed like that for a long time, just lost in thoughts. Then, Tony broke the silence
“Why don’t you speak, Y/N? There’s must be a reason.” He asks, looking at you.
You look down and then forward.
There’s a reason, Mr. Stark.
"Is this where I'm going to sleep?" you asked in a whisper as you entered the small cabin under the stairs. "It looks like Harry's room on the first-" your words were interrupted by a strong slap that suddenly hit your face, making the marks of the four fingers of Elizabeth fix on your face.
You look at her, completely missing the words, you eyes already filling with tears of anger and humiliation.
"Why-" You stopped suddenly and cringed as she raised her hand again.
"Look here, ma'am. I think you'd better stop being an ungrateful bitch and thanks us for taking the time to welcome you here in our house."
"This is not your mother's house anymore. Here the rules are different, and we are the ones who rule. Got it?" Arthur says, spitting venom on every word.
You didn’t know if it was to speak or understand or just nod. Afraid to take another slap you just nodded and they seemed satisfied with it.
"Great! As punishment, you're going to stay here all day and if, and only if you behave, you'll be able to eat with us." Elizabeth says with the air of arrogance and authority.
They leave the small room and you is left alone, trying to quell the sobs and the pain you felt at the loss of  longing your mother, and the humiliation and anger you felt.
“Hey.” you’re pulled back into reality when Tony's worried eyes meet yours. “It’s okay. I know you don’t wanna talk, I just want you to know that I’m not going anywhere. You’ve got me right here, kiddo.”
“Can we join?” you heard Pepper voice, and smiles.
“Yeah, it’s not fair have the roof all to two.” Peter said, pretending to be angry.
You rolls your eyes.
“Come on, grab a blanket and sit with us. It’s almost midnight”.
Pepper and Peter grabbed a blanket and sit with you, side by side.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Peter smiles.
You’re thoughtful and then smile. Yeah, you okay.
Tony put his arms around Pepper smiling, it was gonna be a good year.
You see the gesture, and puts Pepper’s arms around you. Pepper looks at Tony surprised and then smiled. Then, it was Peter’s turn. You put his arms around you and smiles.
“Let’s count! Let’s count!” Peter said, excited.
Five, four, three, two, one.
The ball drops and fireworks. Resolutions are made. People scream and kiss. But is possible to change? Is really truly possible to leave the past behind?
You didn’t know, but you wanted to believe. You smiles, still watching the fireworks.
Welcome, Midnight.

Hey so I started ORV about 2 weeks ago and I need to place down my feelings and I hope y’all appreciate it. Most of my predictions about immediate events turned out to be wrong, like they were through most of the novel, but some of the longer ranged ones might still be possible, and as you will read i haven’t edited these, so most of my stuff will be wrong, but I don’t much care, it’s stream of thought. Enjoy
Chapter 0-206
* Dokja will bookmark and use either Jonghyuk’s regression, or Nirvana’s reincarnation.
* Dokja will devour a constellation’s story in order to get their stigma, rather than go through the process of bookmarking it, with my personal guess being zeus and the lightning carnival since that’s been mentioned a bunch and he already has electrification.
* when the fourth wall has devoured things so far, dokja gets a better understanding of the being, so maybe if he devours a constellation like, say, zeus, he will gain a better understanding of the constellation to allow for bookmark
* Soon enough he’ll use unidentified wall to communicate with his allies, probably the underworld, maybe Uriel, definitely Jonghyuk and co. outside Seoul in an attempt to consolidate his power before the coming storm of the nebulae opposing him.
* Yoosung will find a way to be a sacrificial bastard like Dokja so she can upgrade her stigma from him by following his story.
* The fourth wall makes a lot of sense both as a representation of Dokja’s inner thoughts and subconscious, mostly seen as the ways that he’s been traumatized, such as with his mother, are when he becomes most like the fourth wall and the benefits are lost.
* The being inside the wall that his mother saw is unclear to me, i could maybe see the subconscious pride and confidence that he has with himself and the knowledge he possesses, but it could also be the author in some fashion, especially with that bit of advice he got in the outer god’s stomach
* The fourth wall is a great piece of writing for every reason possible, but also makes sense within the universe as to how it can do this stuff: we see everywhere that when a constellation wants to do something direct, it has to use up probability, and anyone that wishes to oppose its actions can use some of that probability as well such as with Kyorgius (I don’t remember how to spell his name, the tiny man), or even the outer god, and probability storms are when nobody will use this probability to oppose them, the universe sets the balance right. And so the fourth wall uses probability
* The fourth wall represents two things: 1. how probable is it that a book character can affect a reader? that’s unlikely right? even more so to be able to know the reader in some intimate fashion? and 2. we see sparks every time someone tries to read his mind/abilities. the fourth wall essentially absorbs that probability and stops the skill, and i think a similar thing happened with the unidentified wall as it seemed to be using a lot of probability to do anything and the fourth wall just took it all in “with a bigger spark”
* the unidentified wall i think will possibly become “identified” as something, either a definite thing straight from ways of survival, or it will be open to possibility like Heewon’s crouching figure, in which case i see like a 30% chance it is influenced by the fourth wall and becomes something similar to it
* I definitely think there’s a possibility the secret plotter is related to the author, and you see it much more when in a reread the constellation seems to occasionally hear his thoughts or potentially understand more about the situation than it should be able to, without being overboard obvious about knowing dokja’s attributes.
* ok and with it laughing when he forces down the fourth wall, like he could tell what happened, and when he was “snapping at the great old ones looking at you,” I’d say he’s pretty damn powerful, maybe even more than narrative grade, and maybe it’ll just be the christian god or the devil or whatever something, but it could also be the author i think
* As we’ve seen most clearly from Dokja’s use of the sword song of the maritime war god, but not Jihye’s ghost fleet, constellations can have multiple stigmas, so i at least am predicting Dokja will give the fourth wall or possibly character list, or maybe even a copy of the ways of survival text (i definitely don’t think she’ll get ORV or bookmark though, those are protagonist powers), as a stigma later on for Yoosung, but i def could be wrong about that.
* I think there’s a possibility Sooyoung will tell everyone that Dokja is a reader before he gets back, but i could see it not happening.
* when 41st Yoosung is born as a dokkaebi, i wonder if using her channel will break the contract he and Bihyoung have. i think he might switch over to the channel for his covert revolution actions at the very least, and just block channel access to the vedas and the other nebulae, and might switch over his scenarioing to the new channel entirely
* actually, when he was in Seoul, he said his contract was cancelled, so maybe he can stream with the both of them now, or even just 41st Yoosung
* i think there’s a possibility that Sooyoung actually did plagiarize the text, but just doesn’t remember, either because she’s becoming more like a character like the two prophets, because when the author deleted the text from the internet her mind got frazzled, or when she made her first clones, the memory of reading it went with it and got destroyed when the clone died
* the author in the first chapter said that their story won a contest, and while in retrospect it seems like a lie, i wonder if there’s the possibility that like with peace land, who’s author sold the setting, if the author wrote the story either without meaning to
* like if Sooyoung actually did just write her own story from a dream, maybe the author did the same and just got more of the dream enough to realize the coming reality of the story, and maybe the dream was them acting like actual prophets to the world before the constellations were going to show up anyway
* the debt/free service time mentioned by the dokkaebi in the beginning is interesting, and i wonder if the end of the scenarios is having enough coins to buy either the planetary system or even just more time of free service away from the constellations.
* Dokja might eventually get more attributes, maybe something like writer or fanfiction writer or revisionist to get new powers given the ways he’s changing the story, either something like avatar (or maybe he’ll just use bookmark for that) as a way to either die more or make a nebulae out of one constellation, or some bullshit reality bending power like writing is, or just like a more reliable use of the other constellations’ Deus Ex Machina to do anything he wants, with enough probability of course
* compounded because in his attributes window we see more skills ■’d out
* given Myungoh’s daughter, will Dokja be adopting a 4th child in the near future?
* maybe asmodeus wants to feed the 73rd demon king to his child
* do you think anyone we’ve met, maybe someone from the constellation banquet, has the ancient dragon’s heart we see Dokja looking at in the Ichthyosaurs’ stomach?
* does/will Dokja look very different from how he did previously because of the golden dragon heart (which based on the heart we’ve seen previously should give him a lot of regen and storage of his magic) and the arm? along with the rest of the broken pieces that became his ruined body that probably only vaguely resemble his face? and the demonic energy he had before and might have again, and maybe ending up as the 73rd demon king
* his face is apparently blurry to people, even with a new story on it, i wonder if he’ll lower the fourth wall to let people see him at some point
* Jihye mentioned that his face is blurry, but Gilyoung has mentioned that he looks fine, so to me that indicates it’s maybe the fourth wall
* do you think there will be any romance by the end? i get the Jonghyuk and Dokja romance implications, but at least as far as the Fate goes, it looked a lot more to me that Dokja’s true love was the love of a good story, and that he died from the story he told with his friends, that proof alone isn’t enough for romance to me, so i could see it ending with none, no romance at all and the story just ends with Dokja and his 7 adopted children.
* why are there 72 demon kings, but they’re in the 73rd demon realm and asmodeus has 32 realms under his control? is there a mistranslation or a misunderstanding going on or what?
* maybe asmodeus absorbs/devours/suborns any demon king that he can and just takes his land, and so he wants the 73rd realm
* could be related to the question of asmodeus’s child above
* i think destroy evil from samyeondang might come up in the demon realm
Chapter 207-214
* I love Uriel now I think, and Biyoo
* i wonder if Dokja can bookmark unidentified wall, or if Hayoung can learn bookmark
* I’m unsure if the revolutionary will end up being a bad person or not, because i think I might have a problem if Dokja just kills the revolutionary, but maybe they’ll sacrifice themselves, or die elsewhere, or maybe they can give it up willingly, idk
* i could see the end of the novel being all the star stream being destroyed, which means no dokkaebis and no stories, so the constellations start to die, and we either get a sad ending of Dokja dying as a constellation, or we get a nice one of him (and maybe some other nice constellations) surviving on Biyoo’s Bootleg, or maybe the same barstardry he pulls, with him doing another “I don’t die when I am killed” and coming back from death again
* I wonder if Hayoung and maybe Dokja will find/convince the 15 year old to allow/make a way for Sooyoung to keep her sanity while following the story, like maybe a new story for the constellation, idk
* ooh shit, Dokja having read the story is spreading, yoo sangah at least suspects, i wonder if everyone will know by the time he gets back
* it’d be a funny scene if Uriel notices Biyoo’s Bootleg and tells Jonghyuk about it to avoid the dokkaebi, and so they miss each other for a bit until Dokja does something stupid/self-sacrificing enough (maybe by a plan from the Duke) that Jonghyuk realizes it’s him and comes and saves him
* i had a dream the dokkaebi had british accents whenever they spoke, and the idea of a foul mouthed floating cat going around saying “oi cunts moider each other or ah’ll shank ya nan” is just hilarious to me
Chapter 215-224
* <3 <3 Fuck Kim Dokja <3 <3
* I figured the hair was going to be involved, but not explicitly that
* If Dokja can find a way to with relative consistency summon the soldier, that’s great
* ok asmodeus is the king of the 32nd. ok, not 32 of them
* Dokja normally says no to potentially unfair support like this from constellation level beings, but i’d actually like to see him deal with asmodeus and just manage to manipulate it so that he is the king of all demons or something
* If Dokja gets support from Asmodeus, than the demon will probably leave his incarnation body there and use it as a puppet to pop in when needed even as he attends to matters in his own kingdom most of the time. This’d open the possibility of Dokja getting to adopt another child, which is always good to see
* I’m also real curious how the possibility of the people who were once characters finding out they were, and what differences there will be to the “real” people, although the fact that the two prophets are characters now is intriguing
* So far it’s just Sangah who knows, but I wonder if Heewon and the others will even be allowed to understand the concept, given the ways the filtering has prevented it in the past

Zeus
Zeus was the first of the gods and a very imposing figure. He was the king of the Olympian gods and the supreme deity in Greek religion, often referred to as the “Father of Gods and men,” he is a sky god who controls the weather, offered signs and omens and generally dispense justice, guaranteeing order amongst both the gods and humanity. He controlled lightning (often using it as a weapon) & thunder. Zeus is king of Mount Olympus, the home of Greek gods, where he rules the world and imposes his will onto gods and mortals alike.
Zeus’s father was Cronus and his mother Rhea. Cronus had usurped control of the heavens from his father Ouranos and he was constantly wary of not having the same thing happen to him from his own children. To pre-empt any takeover he, therefore, swallowed all of his children: Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, & Poseidon. However, Rhea saved her youngest child, Zeus, by wrapping a stone in swaddling clothes and giving this to Cronus to swallow. Zeus was spirited away to Moutn Dikte on the island of Crete where he was raised by the primeval goddess Gaia (or in some versions by the Nymphs - Amongst them was the Nymph Amaltheia (in some versions of the myth she was a goat) who suckled the young god).
On reaching adulthood, Zeus made Cronus cough back up the children he and swallowed, and then he married his sister Hera. However, the lawless Titans, encouraged by Gaia, immediately tried to wrestle control of the world from the Olympian gods in a ten-year battle known as the Titanomachy (The Battle of Titans). The Titans were the brothers and sisters of Cronus and it was only through the help of the Cyclopes – who made Zeus his lightning bolts – and the hundred-handed giants / Hecatoncheires (Briareos, Cottus, & Gyges) that Zeus was finally able to imprision the Titans in Tartarus, the deepest part of the Underworld.
As the king of the gods and sitting atop the golden throne on Olympus, Zeus was revered by all. Mortal kings would boast that they were descendants of Zeus. With this supreme power came a number of roles and responsibilities. Hesiod described Zeus as a god who “brought peace in place of violence” and referred to him as the “lord of justice.”
Zeus the Punisher
The god was also the great punisher. Those who did wrong or committed acts of impiety were severely punished, often for all time. The Titans were imprisoned in Tartarus and after acts of impiety against Zeus, Apollo and Poseidon were made to build the magnificent walls of Troy  which proved so useful in the Trojan War. An explanation for the war in mythology was that Zeus sought to curb the rising population of humanity. Zeus also selected Paris as the judge in the famous beauty contest between Aphrodite, Hera and Athena, and when the young prince won Helen as his reward for choosing Aphrodite it was cited as another, more human cause for the Trojan War.
Other victims of Zeus’ vengeance included The Titan Prometheus who was condemned to have his liver eaten by an eagle every day after he stole fire from the gods and gave it to humankind. Atlas had to support the heavens for eternity because of his role in the Titanomachy. Sisyphus, punished for his trickery, was condemned to forever roll a huge stone up a hill in the Underworld. Asclepius was killed by one of Zeus’ thunderbolts because the former’s medicine and his ability to raise the dead threatened the balance of power between men and gods. Pandora, the first woman was sent into the world by Zeus as punishment for receiving the gift of fire and she was to be the source of all mankind’s misfortunes, carried with her in a box. Phineus, who was tricked by Hera into blinding his two sons, was himself blinded by Zeus who also sent the Harpies to continuously harass him. Ixion rashly declared his love for Hera and so Zeus banished him to Hades to be forever bound to a rotating wheel. Lycaon gave human flesh to Zeus to test his divinity and the god punished his impudence by turning him into a wolf. Salmoneus thought he was a god and pretended to be Zeus by throwing flaming torches for lightning bolts and riding his chariot to make a noise like thunder but Zeus swiftly put a stop to his antics by killing him instantly with a real lightning bolt. The list goes on but the message is clear, wrong-doing and lack of respect would be severely punished.
Zeus the Peacemaker
Despite the terrible punishments Zeus could inflict he was also a peacemaker, famously reconciling Apollo and Hermes when they fought over the first lyre. Similarly, Zeus resolved the conflict between Apollo and Hercules over the tripod from Delphi. He also persuaded Hades to part with Persephone for part of each year and so end the terrible drought her mother Demeter had caused for the human race in protest at being held captive in the Underworld. For mere mortals, Zeus was at least fair-minded. At his feet Zeus had the jars of Fate - one full of bad things, another full of good things and he dispensed both with justice. Similarly, the time of a mortal’s death was carefully weighed in Zeus’ golden scales.
Sites Sacred to Zeus
Zeus had an oracle, the oldest in fact, at Dodona in northern Greece where ascetic priests served an oracle which interpreted the sounds from the wind in the branches of the sacred oak trees and the babbling of water from the holy spring. Another great sanctuary dedicated to Zeus was at Olympia where every four years from 776 BCE the Olympic Games drew crowds from all parts of the Greek world to honour the father of the gods and where 100 oxen were sacrificed to Zeus at the end of each Games. Also at Olympia, the massive 5th century BCE temple of Zeus housed the gigantic gold and ivory statue of the god by Pheidias which was one of the Seven Wonders of the ancient world. Other important sacred sites for the god were on Mt. Lycaios, in Athens, Nemea, Pergamon, Stratos, and in Libya.
There were surprisingly few festivals in honour of Zeus, one was the Diasia of Athens. Generally, though, Zeus, as head of the Greek pantheon, was omnipresent and so made no particular attachments to specific cities. Zeus was, however, worshipped in most family homes where an altar was often dedicated to him in each courtyard, for as Zeus Herkeios, he protected the family hearth and property in general. He was also Zeus Xenios, the god of hospitality, Zeus Polieus, protector of cities, Zeus Horkios guardian of oaths and Zeus Soter, the protector and general benefactor to all.

Lord of light: Fallen by night
“Next to nothing,” I replied to her question. She sighed. “They were the divine family until the gods took over. To make the creation story nice and short-” It was not nice and short. It was nightfall when she finished. To make things simple I'll summarize. The first “it” couple, sky and earth had kids that were the titans who represent ancient elements or aspects of the world, Light, time, death, prophecy, constellations and the ocean. She didn't give a name but my father was the titan of heavenly light, strange position buts sound important. The Sky hates their next batch of kids the first cyclops and the hundred-handed ones which to be fair just sound ugly enough to be angry at. Especially if your first kids are the divine giants whose heads reach the sky. Earth got cranky and had her children fight their father. Nearly no-one had the balls to kill him except my uncle Kronus who chopped him up real good. My father and his brothers helped to restrain him so Kronus gave them the territories of north, south, east and west. All but my uncle Oceanus who didn't do shit but stay in the ocean so he got that by default. My father was the lord of the east. She stops there. “What else? He became the lord of the east and then what?” She shrugged. “He was the most powerful of his brothers but not more so than Atlas and Kronos himself. Honestly, he never did much of worth. Outside of giving humanity sight and most of us agree it was because wish for them to bask in his splendor. His children did more than him but the short of it. Kronos children rebelled, won and sent them to Tartarus.” She said it all so calmly I started to question both our sanities. This can’t be right, right? This is all a hallucination from a gas leak. Yet why do I feel that is should believe it. “Wait you said, Children? I have siblings.” She gave an even longer sigh. “They are...were the titans of the sun, moon, and Dawn.” I looked at her funny. “Why does the dawn have its own god?” “Goddess, Eos the rosy-fingered dawn.” She said proudly. I don’t know though, not that intimidating of a title. I shall smite you with morning dew. “Most gods are devious but Eos is mostly harmless. Mostly interested in her morning ride and attracting young men, so you're properly safer from her.” I took the backhanded compliment in stride. Also, that implies incest so nope. “What about the other two, the sun and the moon.” I pointed upwards. Are they watching me?” I said terrified that I had siblings who properly saw everything from the sky.  She seemed sad for a moment and then composed herself. “Remember when I said that Jackson boy took down your father.” She was stark serious with a guarded look, her arms crossed. I sensed something wrong with the guy but I thought he was just a dumbass, but he is something more dangerous. A powerful dumbass. “He killed him didn’t he?” I asked sincerely but she waved her hand half-heartedly. “Yes and no, there are ways to beat divine beings in combat. They all are easy in theory but much harder in practice especially with your father. From my sources, he seemed to push your father back and the satyrs used magic to turn him into a tree.” I looked at her waiting for the punchline. It was a very bad joke. She stood stone face. Oh god, oh gods whatever! She is not joking. “What? Tree, maple what?” I scramble nearly falling over. She picked me up and put me in the passenger seat. “I’ll let that set in and get us to our next destination.” I let myself sink into the car seat trying to focus on the landscape to regain stability. I saw that we were at a campsite that had peculiar markings such as purple and orange shirts and a sign saying.                                                                                 Where are your gods now? “Were avoiding the people that did that right?” “If that makes you happy.” I couldn't tell if she was joking. I have a feeling that's going to be a catchphrase. “There's one last gift, a peace offering for you.” “May I ask why? I like the necklace but what else am I getting.” If there is one thing I learned it's that everything has a price. What did the next gift cost? Also, the term peace offering is not giving me the jollies. “A general from the army your father led wanted to give recompense.” I twitch slightly. That does not give me confidence that it will be a good gift. “ From what I understand, he thought that a child of your father should have a chariot. Your father provided a chariot but the not the animal but he will have a selection to choose from.” So, my fathers, only gift after being gone for nearly a decade is a god damned chariot. A car, no. A home that isn't in a shanty town, no. An education that isn't self-taught, no. A god damned chariot with no animal, that I probably have to feed. Thanks, dad. “Wait how are you driving” I turned to look downward at the driver seat to meet something that had me chuckling. “What the hell are you using?” I said trying to suppress my laughter. It was a golden seat with mechanical legs that were overly detailed, cellulose, leg hair and all.   “Made by telkhines, ugly beast but useful beasts. They made that necklace you have and use actual magic.” Actual magic? “They make steampunk props?” I partly started to watch my surroundings as we went ever more south to the west to the town of ponce. “Weapons, armor, charms depends on what you order and what you give them. They are good at making things but not finding things. You worked for one ounce.” Did I? Guess with Aegle being a monster the whole time I guess a lot of the people I encountered and saw where monsters. A thought occurs thought. “The tall, waddling old man with the dog like face.” I always thought that man was disfigured but being a monster properly explains his ugly face as well. Not to be mean to the man Ignacio’s forge was by far one of my most filling jobs right next to the farm and second most fun right next to the flea market. “Why can I see monsters then. I saw them before I knew I was a demigod.” I remarked. She gave a glare. “Demigod naturally sees through the mist, (the veil that keeps the mortals from seeing monsters and the gods.) but you are right most see most clearly after they learn their heritage. Perhaps it's one of your abilities, true sight.” “True Sight. Its at least what would I call it, to see through the mist clearer than some demigods, the disguises of monster are powerful but the magical ones you apparently see through.” I guess that makes some sense, if dad gave humans sight then it makes sense my power involves that but that seem weak for the son of an elder divine. “Any more questions or do you wish to stay quiet.” I think for a second. “Why did you look after me. Why did dad have me? What do I do now.” She lowered her head downward in sullen dread. “The first is simple, the second unknown to me, the third is…complicated but your choice. I was assigned to you to make sure you lived after your mother died. Dracae is what my kind is called but I am deformed by their standards, they have two tails and I have one. I delivered messages for various groups even the gods at one point but like many things they forgot us.  As for the why, I don’t know. You father rarely cared about his own troops much less humans and his own children. We assumed that he forgot them, we joined because… we wanted justice.” I saw her face distort into anger. A look one gave when remembering something painful, I let her cool off a bit after she lets slip out. She did say Helios, Eos and Selene were but she talked about Eos like she was alive so the other two are gone. Wow, not even a full day and I have not only family but dead family members. “The last thing is up to you, the boy gave you the option to go to their camp where you will get food and shelter as long as you play puppet.” I shifted my head to my shoulders. “To the gods, I'm guessing.” she nodded her head keeping one eye on the road and the other on me. “You do my old snake heart proud to know I raised you to be smart. That or you go with me.”
“I aim to please. If it's all the same to you I think I'll make my decision now and go with you.” She turned her head all the way to face me and stopped the car suddenly. “Don’t make decisions lightly!” She shouted. She nearly started hissing again. “I will bring you to where what remains of the army, there are some demigods still there that chose to live far from the gods in new york, they could barely fight but they do make good merchants.” She seems to calm down again and decide it's not the time for questions anymore, I can’t even think of any more to ask her. “It was not a lie you know.” She said sadly, her voice slightly breaks “At first I didn’t like my talents being wasted to be a babysitter but you grew on me somewhat.” She chuckled, her eyes starting to water. “I...I..I-” I hug her from the side, my left hand from her shoulder interlocking with my right to make a circle hug hanging from her neck. “I know, your eyes blink three times when you lie.” She returns the hug with tears dripping down her eyes with the scent of salt on them. “I'm sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry-”An arrow knocked itself into the dashboard Cutting her off. “The fuck?” I yelled as another arrow notched itself near my neck “Dammit, they found us!” She screamed trying to dodge arrows and drive the car. I looked behind us and saw only an orange splotch in a sea of dark leaves and branches. “Can Jackson fly?” I said frantically trying to find a projectile. “No that would a child of Zeus, a son of Poseidon, a lord of the sea is who we face. If I have to guess a pegasus.” “Is he a good shot?” An arrow went into the roof getting only halfway in. An idea brews in my mind to get rid Jackson. Not a single shot has hit us yet, some were close but no direct hit. I take the arrows from the various places they were logged in and pile them on my lap. “Do you have poison?” She points to the glove compartment. It was a long shot but it had what I need. “May I?” “ Look I need to release some poison for my fangs and glands sometimes.” She said reflexively. The poison was clear with a tinge of yellow in jam jars. Two to be precise. I take all the arrows and jam it in, pun intended. Aegle put a hand in front of me. “Try to aim it like a dart but if they get close enough to the window just toss them in their direction.” She dictated. I follow her directions to the letter but decide to leave them in the jar. I lower the window so I can sit on the door. Now for the nice people or those with no sense of wisdom, don't attempt this in any shape or form because in all likelihood I will fall off and leave half of my skin on the forest floor. Maybe my neck would be broken, the bottom line doesn't replicate. I used to play darts in the employee lounge but trust me that barely helps when I'm holding poison-tipped arrows while sitting on the window of a moving car. It took all my ass clenching ability not be thrown off as Aimed at the moving black mass. In the rising moonlight, I saw a bit clearer and know for a fact that he was on a flying horse. Yet that was a low mark on my what the fuck meter today. Either I aim for Jackson or his horse? I took a better look while I saw something odd, I know the flying horse with wings would be usually the first thing I saw two but its something else. It was almost that I saw an aura around Jackson that seemed...strong. And not that it seemed that he was ready for anything but more in a literal I saw a faint glowing aura of protection around him, shielding him. A voice echoed in my mind. The Styx shields, the Styx protects. You will be forced to make recompense. Okay...that was more poignant than I would like. In shows or movies, schizophrenics have this deep narrative driven voice that attacks them with personal insults. Most of the times in real life its random gibberish and loud noises, if there is a voice it can be neutral like “the sky is green” over and over again or pleasant “you're are wonderful” voices. At Least some other than instructional. So when they start to make coherent sense be very afraid especially if there negative it means it’s at its worse. Bottom line when the voice in my head starts giving advice be very afraid.   “Jackson would be vulnerable to arrows, right? Does the name Styx mean anything to you?” Oh great, I'm listening to the voice now. Terrific.  “Did you say the river Styx?!” She started swerving in response. She thinks for a moment and shakes her head. “That explains how he killed your father then. He has the curse of Achilles.” I understood what the meant, slightly. I remember that he was a hero from a myth that had a bad heel but from what she said it seems to be some sort of power. I thought about how it could help him beat my father. I barely knew him so it hard to think of anything concrete I guess it could give… invincibility. Oh crap. I try to think of something. Aim not for he who leads, aim for what carries the teens. And now this creepy shit. Shot in the dark, I try to think it out as I throw the arrow. The arrow flew for a short bit toward Jackson but was quickly deflected by a glowing sword that was now in view. He started to fly ever closer to the truck with the Pegasus ever more in my sight. It had ebony hair and raven-like wings with empty eyes. Who the hell looks at that and thinks “that's a great mount”. It was definitely majestic in its movement and manner but its actions, its stare, its look, that stare gave off the aura of rebellion. Like it would kick off most rider given the chance. Kick off the rider! Of course. The pegasus came closer now with Jackson and the blond girl. I didn’t see the satyr but the sounds of pan flutes were within the air and the trees moved slightly. Guess that makes sense, nature creature, nature magic. I kept my eye on the winged horse and tried to ignore both of the Blancos. “What are you doing?” Percy Jackson screamed. “We can give you sanctuary. The camp is the only place you can be safe.” The girl added. I ready my jar as they increased velocity with the horse nearly neck and neck with the car. “Consider this my answer in the form of a toxic hail Mary.” I  held the jar sideways as the contents blew in the wind, the arrows, the venom, all going in the direction of the raven pegasus. The horse started to convulse and bucked off Jackson and his girlfriend off its back. I would be lying if I said I didn’t take pleasure in the way the jackass fell straight on his ass in the dirt. It was like a stunt gone wrong. I was sorry for the horse, it didn't deserve the arrows and venom to the face but I needed an escape. I think he tried to yell something before we got out of earshot but we manage to escape into the wilderness.  Hopefully, that will be that last of them for a while. “W-w-w-we manage to lose them.” The realization slowly reached Aegle as an I climb, precariously back into my seat. “Don't be so sure. I remember three of them being at the hotel.” “Oh your right, that means goat boy might still pursue.” She had an angry way about her when she said goat boy. Didn't she say something about satyr's against my father? “Now what?” I try to ready for a nap. This amount of excitement has left me worn out. “Nacho, he runs the ranch nearby or at least keeps the animals running rampant.” Oh yeah. An animal to pull my chariot. Glad to know that this is my new normal from now on. “Remember Ignacio from the forge?” I close my eye as I strain to remember where that name felt right. Not a common name to say the proper way, most people go by Nacho with that name and I  swear if you bring up those cheese covered chips I will deck you in the schnoz. Then something came to me in a haze. A bright forge, a roaring flame, a small ugly man with great skills in making repairs and creating jewelry. “Wait! That Nacho!” The general that was gifting a war beast was my old boss. I worked for him for three years in Ramos, a small town north of El Yunque. I helped at his forge and learned some skill in bending and manipulating metal. It wasn't my longest job or my most enjoyable one but it was the most fulfilling. There is no other feeling like making tools with your own hands and saying that you know how to make half the things people things people need day to day. It's like you are above them in a certain way like they always need you no matter how much they pretend to be better than you. “Yes. That Nacho, he was the leader of the Telchines for a bit before your father dismissed him.” “Wait why was he dismissed?” She started to sway on the road, we properly lost a wheel so it was actually quite astounding that we are still driving semi-properly. “ He had a habit of ...Questioning authority.” She said casually now resting her head on her fist. From her tone, she explained this plenty of times. “ He questions some of your uncle's tactics and by you fathers authority he was moved to this outpost.” “Wait for outpost!” I yelled jumping from my seat. “This isle is far away enough from the gods that they barely notice anything that happens here. It's the same for Alaska except that Poseidon sends the occasional hurricane.” Annnd she let that bombshell drop. “ He hasn't done it in a while but...watch your back when near the sea. It should only be 20 minutes away from the ranch.” With that, I sunk back into my seat wide-eyed. Apparently, one of the worst kind of disasters that can befall the island is caused by the father of the guy I just threw poison at.  Maybe the ranch will be nice and quiet, Nacho was always level-headed. Maybe a little nap to keep me going later.

The Great Huntress named Artemis weeps, the Moon-Maiden Selene turns blue, The Amazons sing of their soul-binding bond, But the Fates knew death is due.
The next day, Iris treated Camille to a breakfast with a recipe that she knew from her travels with Hermes after Olympus fell.
Camille didn't really have much to do on the island except jog around the beach and explore the forests and fields. The willow trees that were introduced to the island was actually a grove made by Iris to help her meditate. But for Camille, it was a place to play the lyre.
Iris offered to give her lyre to Camille so that she can actually play along with a plectrum. It was a gift from the Muses.
Iris's Meditation Spot - Strofades (Strofadia), Greece - Afternoon
Camille sat on a marble bench with the lyre on her lap and the plectrum in her right hand. She is currently wearing a strapless honeydew green dress with a light fern green cloth for the arms and belt. For her feet, she wore sandals with raw umber leather, brass rivets, and a bronze buckle. The dress has a hidden pouch to keep the magenta racer's scarf that her mother gave her.
And speaking of that scarf, she kept it real close to remind her of the love and care that her family gave her.
The lyre in her arms was made of cedar and brass; the strings were a combination of metals and plastics; the engravings were stylized Greek letters that spelled out the name of its last owner: Linus.
She strummed the strings a few times with her hand and then with the plectrum. She then did a combination of both, playing some music. The tune each string made sounded like a harp: soothing yet intense.
She can still remember the dream of Camilla teaching Athena how to play the flute and of Athena teaching Camilla how to play the lyre.
She decided to play a song that wasn't Ancient Greek or even a song she did with Nebula when they're the Neo-Squid Sisters. In fact, she didn't know where she heard the song from, but it's a song she knows word by word.
As she began to play the lyre, the music was somber. As she began to sing, it was full of emotion. It broke the silence of the groves:
((Song and Lyrics belong to Yoko Takahashi; Music plays similar to this: https://youtu.be/xLlosQk7a44 ))
Sankoku na tenshi no you ni Shounen yo shinwa ni nare
The music echoes through the grove, telling the story of a boy, a girl, two angels, a betrayal, and a journey to become a legend.
Camille would feel tears come down her cheek as she sang these next verses that are about the girl.
In this part of the song, a girl that was taken care off by a loving family, awaking from her slumber to hearing an angel call out to her. The angel tells her to come back to reality and face fate.
The girl leaves her home to see the moon shine over her, reminding her of her weakness. The girl can't let this stop fate. She then thinks about the boy that the angel assures she'll again, and if they can find a special scripture together, they can find a way to be free.
The song then left a reminder of how love keeps the boy's journey together, and that only the girl's love will remain with him as he ascends to enlightenment. It all ends with a repetition of the angel's betrayal and that the boy must face the reality of his journey. In the end, he'll become a legend.
At the end of her song, Iris has been standing near her with a basket with food and drinks for a picnic. She's been listening to the song.
"It's a beautiful song you played, Camille," Iris complimented.
Monk's Monastery - Strofades (Strofadia), Greece - Night
Once it's morning, Camille can return a free squid-girl. But for tonight, there was someone special she was going to meet. The same green moth that Camille saw on her first day on the island-- a Japanese Luna Moth -- appeared on a nightstand. She quickly got up after noticing the little insect. She assumes it's Emerald, meeting her as a spirit.
"What is it, Emerald?" Camille whispered.
The moth flaps her wings and took off. Camille got out of bed, still wearing the dress and the shawl. She leaves the monastery and follows the moth all the way to the willow groves where Iris meditates.
Iris's Meditation Spot - Strofades (Strofadia), Greece - Night
Camille arrives back in the groves with the Willow trees glowing like phosphor; she didn't find the moth here, but there was someone else in the willow grove: the spirit of a young, tall, and slim huntress. She wore a silver lunate crown decorated in guinea fowl and buzzard hawk feathers upon her head. Her hunting boots were made from carved and polished cypress wood,  the fur of a bear, the teeth of wolves. Her short skirt tunic was made from a combination of leopard skin and lion skin.
The huntress was cloaked in the moonlight while carrying her bow, arrows, and quiver. She was spirit singing as the moon reached it's highest point in the night sky. Camille interrupted her singing by mistake after stepping on a tree branch. The spirit looked at her and smiled.
"Champion of Athena and Zeus?" The spirit addressed.
"Ex-Champion," Camille corrected.
The spirit giggled.
"Who exactly are you?" Camille folds her arms.
"I am Diana Artemisia, and I Goddess of the Hunt, The Moon, and all animals. You can call me Artemis" Artemis then looked down. "That was until Olympus has fallen."
"Wait, then you're supposed to be dead." Camille looked confused.
Artemis looked up and smiled at Camille. "Oh, well, when you're a deity and you die..... we don't really end up exactly in the Underworld. Besides Hermes doesn't see the point of sending spirits like me there if Hades is dead too."
Camille didn't know that, and now that Artemis mentioned it, she wonders if she can meet Athena since she is a spirit too. For now, she wants to know why Artemis is here.
".....Okay, so what are you doing here?" Camille asked.
"Hermes sent me, and a friend of yours wanted in on this too." The Spirit Artemis lays back against a tree. "Want to see her?"
"Her?" Camille raised an eyebrow.
"I'll take that as a yes." Artemis soon took out a small whistle.
And with one simple blow, something glowed a bright royal blue. A wisp in the shape of a deer lifted her head up and looked at Camille; her antlers were adorned in gold and amber ornaments.
As the deer comes out of the bushes, the illusion fades to reveal a spectral deer. Her antlers were a starry midnight blue, her fur is a Milky Way-like sky blue, and her eyes are a glimmering light blue. She's completely made of shades of blue.
Under the moonlight, she was cloaked in the dust of the moon.
The deer spoke, and it was in Sapphire's voice."Hello, Camille."
Camille is surprised by Sapphire spiritual form, but she is really glad to see her again. She tried not to tear up.
"Sapphire...?" Camille stepped closer. "Is that really you?"
Sapphire bowed once. "Who else would it be?"
Camille soon had one hand on the side of the deer's neck. She then decided to pet her. She smiled. The last time she saw Sapphire was when she was kidnapped, but remembering that made her heart sink. That was because Rhea killed her while under Typhon's influence.
"It's been so long." Camille was fighting back tears.
Sapphire can understand the pain Camille was going through now that Emerald and her and gone.
"Camille... It's alright," Sapphire comforted, "You can still carry on."
"No, it's not alright... you're dead... and so is Emmy." Camille stopped petting and looked down. "And I couldn't do anything to save you or her..."
"Camille..." Sapphire looked worried.
"And how can I carry on!" Camille soon can't fight the tears. ".... I miss you... I miss you and Emerald..... And I miss my friends... my mom... my dad... my baby brother...and-"
"Shhh... there, there, Camille." Sapphire nuzzles her forehead.
She then began singing a certain lullaby to Camille.

Moonbeams and starlight, magical twilight The warmest ray, hear it whispering your names~ Rainbows at midnight, sparkling night skies Don't go away, stay another day.~
Sapphire sang as she cried stardust tears, wrapping her leg around Camille. She continued to sing in a foreign language in the phosphor willow grove.
Artemis left them be for a while, fading into moon dust.
When it was time for Sapphire to leave with Artemis, she kissed Camille's cheek. She then whispered something to her. And as Camille watches Sapphire leave, she called out to her.
"I hope we meet again, Sapphy!" Camille waved good-bye.
Sapphire turns back to give a nod. Artemis and Sapphire soon disappear into moon dust.
The constellation of Orion can be seen in the sky.

Zodiacs existences
My first idea is to do my project on zodiac signs and how they came into existence and how I can portray that through animation.
Ø  Scorpio – Scorpio vs Orion - Orion was a giant hunter. The primary story goes that Orion was the lover of Eos (Greek mythology), the goddess of the dawn, and bragged about his conquests with her.  This of course, made her angry.  Then Orion bragged about how he was such a great hunter that he was going to kill every creature on earth.
Normally in Greek myths this is the point where Artemis, the Greek hunting goddess, would take offense to anyone claiming superiority in hunting skills, and cut them down to size.  The only thing was that Artemis had a big-time crush on Orion and found him charming. Her brother, Apollo, the sun god, did not find this claim quite so amusing, as he was also the god of the animal herds.  Neither did Gaia, Greek mythology's great earth goddess, for obvious reasons. So, Apollo and Gaia talked and decided that it was time for Orion to go, so Gaia created a giant scorpion to hunt the hunter. Orion pretty much knew he was screwed, so he ran, and Scorpio chased him. Zeus had been watching the whole thing and put both Orion and Scorpio in the sky as constellations but placing them 180 degrees apart so that they wouldn't keep fighting in the heavens.
Ø  Leo – Hercules vs Leo - In the first of his trials Hercules (Greek mythology) is tasked with finding and killing the Nemean Lion, an enormous and powerful lion whose hide is impenetrable.  Hercules doesn't know this however and shoots the Nemean Lion with arrows, which do nothing but make it mad. Being Hercules, he decides to make a mad dash at the Nemean Lion rather than run away.  The lion runs into its cave, which has two entrances.  Long story short, Hercules blocks off an entrance, rushes into the cave, hits the Nemean Lion over the head with his club hard enough to stun it, then proceeds to choke it to death with his bare hands. In order to prove his victory, Hercules is supposed to bring the pelt of the Nemean Lion back to King Eurystheus.  Hercules tries to cut the pelt off the lion's body before realizing that it's still impenetrable.  After trying a few different tactics, he finally figures out that the only thing that can cut the skin of the Nemean Lion is its own claws.  Eventually he is able to use the claws to skin the lion. He brings the pelt back to Eurystheus but ends up keeping it to use as his own personal armour. Hera, who sent the Lion to Nemea in the first place, took pity on the creature (or perhaps felt guilty) for it getting hunted down and killed and allowed it to live amongst the stars, next to Selene, the moon goddess, who adored him.
Ø  Taurus – Taurus and Persephone - According to this myth, the mythology of Taurus begins with a wandering bull known as Cerus. Cerus was a large and powerful bull who villagers were terrified of because of his tendency to trample their villages to pieces on a whim.  He was owned by no one, and none of the farmers knew where he came from. Though he was not immortal, most people assumed him to be because of his sheer size and strength and the fact that despite all the destruction he caused nobody was ever able to stop him.
The bull is wild and out of control, choosing to follow his emotions on a whim. One day the Spring goddess Persephone finds him trampling through a field of recently bloomed flowers and goes to him.  Though he cannot speak, he seems to understand her, and her presence calms him. They form a bond together, and the bull learns to behave himself.  Persephone teaches the bull patience and how to use his strength wisely.
Every year in the spring when Persephone returns to the land, Cerus returns to the land to join her.  She sits upon his back and he runs her through the fields, allowing her to set all the plants in bloom as they ride by.  In the fall when Persephone returns to Hades, Cerus returns to the sky as the Taurus constellation.
Ø  Pisces – Pisces and the monster - In this Greek myth, the monster Typhon descends upon Mount Olympus, threatening all the gods and goddesses, who flee from their home (with a couple key exceptions).  As Typhon approaches, the goddess Aphrodite and her son Eros find themselves in need of escape. According to different versions of this legend, either Aphrodite and Eros turn into fish, two fish approach them and swim them away to safety, or they turn into fish AND two other fish take them to safety. One way or another, the two escape from Typhon thanks to two fish. These two fish were later honoured by being placed in the heavens as the constellation Pisces. It is for this reason that I tend to believe that there were two fish who were not Aphrodite and Eros, since during Typhon's assault on Mount Olympus, the other gods turned into animals as well, and were not turned into constellations.
                                                        PISCES AND CANCER LINK
Ø  Cancer – cancer vs Vamari - When the god of monsters Typhon (Greek mythology) terrorized the gods of Olympus, Poseidon, along with most of the other gods, went into hiding.  He left Crios in charge of protecting the sea nymphs, who were Poseidon's daughters. The crab took his role as protector very seriously and wouldn't let any of the sea nymphs outside of his reach. After a while, some of the sea nymphs became restless, and convinced that they were in no danger from Typhon, escaped into the open sea.
Crios could not chase them as he was charged with protecting the other sea nymphs, so he enlisted the help of the giant squid, Vamari.  Little did he know that Vamari (whose name translates to "Vampire Squid") had ill intentions, and when he caught up to the sea nymphs, he devoured them. When Vamari returned to Crios, he told the crab that despite a valiant effort, he could not find any of the missing sea nymphs.  Crios knew that he was lying and attacked him.  They battled for hours until the crab finally won. But he had sustained such bad injuries that he was terribly crippled from that time forward.  Since  he was immortal, though, he could not die, but had to live in pain. When Poseidon returned, he saw the bravery that the crab had shown and relieved him of his pain, but not his immortality, by placing him in the sky as the constellation Cancer.
