I just realized I never actually showed what happened before Sun was given to Eclipse in this post, so like here :D
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
(yap session under cut)
Since Im not sure if I explained it well:
—All the animatronics in the plex were active 2 hours before their working hours so they had time to prepare for the day, but then Sun (after he woke up drowning in the ballpit and emerging as a baby) was found by Montessa just 30 minutes before they opened.
—Moonlight and Sunshine were doing their best to calm Sun down as Montessa went to find Ruin, but the EAPS twins had no luck in getting Sun to cool down as Sun, due to his new instincts as a child, was looking and sobbing for Moon and would not take Moonlight as Moon.
•Ruin could barely grasp onto the fact Sun is here—as a child nontheless.
—Due to the fact Eclipse was on break that day, Ruin transferred Sun to him for a bit so he could help the twins around the Daycare.
•As seen in the comic, Eclipse was far from amused at the thought of taking care of Sun since he already had many children to care for at the moment, but he agreed nontheless since he cares he'll be six feet under if Sun were to ever return to their dimension with a bruise or gone.
•Andrew finds a sleeping Sun in a room near where Eclipse was at, and questions his father on what happened and who this was, and Eclipse just tries to explain as best as he could. Andrew brought Charlie over to help him entertain Sun since Andrew had zero clue on how he should do it.
—As much as 2 hours have passed and their working hours are over, Sun is still with Eclipse since Sun refuses to be with anyone else; Sun only recognizes Eclipse, and hes not just gonna separate from him that easily (Eclipse has no clue if thats a good or bad thing).
—————— ——————
Bonus of Moon's reaction :3
Tumblr media
I mean, just imagine: you wake up and your twin is still there, but then hours before you open the Daycare, hes suddenly gone and you cant find a single trace of him.
Naturally, of course, you panic, and Moon did just that.
Not because nobody would be there to care for the kids in the Daycare (that isnt even Moon's priority at the moment), but because Sun just disappeared without a dam clue on where he even went—like seriously, Moon leaves for 5 minutes to assist Solar in something, and they return and Sun is nowhere.
Anyway, Moon is not doing well with that information and Solar is making sure Moon doesnt just overheat from all the stress and worry this brought him.
Oh yeah!!! I can draw the Montys now :D

Something that I don't think gets talked about enough:
The fact that Ruin is good with kids
Yeah, it kinda comes with the territory of being a daycare attendant, but still. Before he got his current body and was still broken, while pretending to be cured, he was in the daycare’s ballpit as the resident "ballpit shark." He was entertaining the kids and playing with them, and despite how he looked, the kids would've had to like him a decent amount, since he was never asked to leave the daycare at any point during that window of time
I read something before about how, in Ruin's dimension, there's a chance that he (as a carrier of the virus and not someone who was affected by it) may or may not have had to go against his childcare programming and kill kids to blend in with the affected glamrocks, so they wouldn't get suspicious and try to dismantle him or anything
The bit about what he did in his dimension is just a thought that someone had that really stuck with me, and I don't remember who came up with it, unfortunately, but it's still at least relatively legit that despite whatever he had to do or go through in the past, it doesn't affect him anymore, and he's still someone the kids liked being around
Which. Considering some of the things he's said and done, is pretty cool to me

Are we/Nexus gonna find out what he is wandering to when he passes out due to using his powers too much? I'm sorry i've been really curious for a few days and I want to know :)
Yes you will :] (TW for body horror)
Nexus groaned, leaning against Sun for support as they walked towards the portal. Lately, Sun has been letting him go to an abandoned dimension to take out his anger on the space debris there. He had been really pent up this time, what with having to deal with Moon and Solar deciding to randomly show up, so he had a lot of destruction to deal. But using his powers made him tired. Very tired. “Nex, I can stay here a little longer,” Sun said, gently lifting his hand to pet Nexus’ hood. “You can lay down for a little while if you need to.” Nexus shook his head, ignoring how dizzy the motion made him. “I’m fine. I need to go home.” He didn’t want to faint and leave Sun with the other things in his body. He limped towards the portal, sighing. “Thank you, Sun. This was nice.”
Nexus was spit out of the portal near his cabin. He slowly walked in, immediately tripping on nothing and collapsing onto the floor. His vision swam with tiny black dots. He didn’t want to sleep. He didn’t want to let the witherstorm inside of him run his body. But he was physically and magically exhausted. Before he knew it, he laid his head down and fell under.
When he finally gained consciousness, he knew something was off. The floor under him was cold and damp. He opened his eyes, and realized he was in some kind of shallow dirt cave. He brushed himself off and stood up, then hissed as his head cracked against the ceiling. “Shhhhitttt.” He hissed slowly, trying to keep quiet. Looking around, he could see that he was at the bottom of a steep sloped cave, with light coming from the top. Well, at least he wasn’t high up in a tree like last time he blacked out and woke up again. But he didn’t understand why his witherstorm kept seeking out such inconvenient places. He carefully crawled up the slope, trying and failing to keep his dignity as he flailed up the last few feet. With a grunt, he pulled himself onto the upper ledge, hoping to get out quickly and maybe take a bath in the lake to get all the nasty dirt off of him. But in front of him was a woven wall of vines.
They let out the light in a specific pattern, like it had been made by hand. Did the witherstorm do this? No. He had never even seen it do anything but destroy. The vines were trapping him inside of the cave, so he pulled back and slashed through them like party streamers. He crept out of the hole, looking around. He was surrounded by carved trees and oversized huts. What the hell was this? There wasn’t supposed to be any sentient life on this planet. Moon and Monty made sure of it. He craned his neck, trying to look inside one of the huts to see what was inside. “Hellllooo?” He climbed up the side of the hut, about five feet off the ground, so he could see in through the window. It was freaky how big everything was. There wasn’t much inside the hut, just some dried grass and some fruit stored inside. Was this abandoned?
He yelped as something grazed along his back. Something was squeezing him tight. Vines. He groaned in distress, but managed to claw into it, which quickly turned yellow and wilted. He whipped around, trying to find what was attacking.
Towering over him was… something. An animatronic? Its face was mangled and brutalized, covered in plant life that rooted into its skin and tore the rusty metal open. Its body was nearly completely infested with vines, including some yellowed ones near the arms. “What the fuck are you?!” It had tried to grab him! It turned its head slightly, making a strange clicking noise as it looked over its wilted vines. He took that as an opportunity to bolt. He went as fast as his legs could carry him, tripping and stumbling as he went. He wasn’t even sure where his cabin was from here. He didn’t know how far away he was. He had the revelation to slow down and look at his phone. Moon didn’t allow him any real tech, but he agreed to a simple GPS app when Sun begged for it. He was nearly fifty miles from his cabin! He considered just running there, but felt his legs tremble. He did walk all the way here, apparently. His body didn’t get any rest. He called Sun, hoping he was available for an impromptu rescue mission...

Astrology of the Week
Tumblr media
“Eclipsed” by Misty
✨Monday, March 24th: Sun conjunct Mercury Retrograde (Rx)
This Mercury retrograde period brings a lot of re-evaluations regarding the ideas we want to bring to life, potentially even old ideas that we previously let fall to the wayside. The sun meets up with Mercury, revitalizing our minds with a fresh burst of solar power. Old concepts and conversations can now be looked at from a fresh new perspective.
✨Tuesday, March 25th: Mercury Rx sextile Pluto
As Mercury continues retracing its steps, it goes back to this aspect we last experienced on March 5th. After this enlightenment from yesterday, Pluto adds some focus-power to our minds. We’ll be wanting to get to the root of things today.
✨Thursday, March 27th: Venus Rx enters Pisces & Venus conjunct Neptune
With Venus in Aries, love is a battlefield. Now, Venus retraces its steps back into Pisces, where love becomes more of a fairytale —especially with Neptune coming into play. This feels like the make-up period after a fight with someone you love, when things can once again feel dreamy and cuddly. This is a great time to engage your sense of fantasy, especially when it comes to artistry.
✨Saturday, March 29th: Solar Eclipse in Aries & Mercury Rx enters Pisces
This day marks the last of the eclipses in the Aries/Libra cycle. Since 2023, we have been on a collective journey learning lessons about self vs. other, autonomy vs. dependence, and self-assertion vs. people pleasing. This has been a time of mastering the art of balancing our authentic selves within our interpersonal relationships. Solar eclipses are super-charged new moons to set us on new paths. It’s time to take all of these relational lessons into our next chapter.
Mercury retrograde entering Pisces this same day grants a wonderful opportunity for processing —maybe even mentally escaping— any of the eclipse craziness we’ve experienced this month. This will be a good day for reflecting and reconnecting to your oneness within.
✨Sunday, March 30th: Neptune enters Aries
We are experiencing important outer planet ingresses this year that mark the start of a new era. Neptune —the planet of dreams, illusion, and confusion— spends around 14 years in one sign, and for the last 14 years it was lost swimming with the fish. Today, it enters the sign of the pioneer, the warrior, and leader. The art of astrological prediction requires looking at the past in order to look to the future. The last time Neptune was in Aries was from 1861 - 1875, when we saw:
✨The American Civil War
✨The abolition of slavery in America
✨The invention of dynamite
✨Completion of the first transcontinental railroad
✨The start of the 2nd Industrial Revolution
This is the start of a deeper story unfolding when it comes to the illusion of leadership, and the illusion of the self-made person. This also speaks to the dream of striking out on one’s own in pursuit of freedom and autonomy. These next 8 months will be a taste of what’s to come for the next 14 years, as Neptune makes one final dip into the waters of Pisces later this year.
