IM BACK!!

I've finally returned to the world of the living as I have graduated from college to become a free artist and again be a member of the Snowbaird society!! ò0ó Can’t believe it myself if I'm quite honest

But yes the last three months I was heavily busy with my final projects and could only occasionally post content, The capitol and District AU suffered more from it as I like to plan every artwork through with lore and details.

But one good thing came from it, the GOOSEY GRAY AU! One of the greatest things the tbosas fandom has ever witnessed don’t deny it u know it‘s true. The silly goose and her duckie husband will stick around! 🪿

I have also been working on a three-chapter one shot called ✨ Deep in the Meadow ✨ based on the three-part artwork of Clementine and the Fireflies, getting supported and coached by my silly little author Fwiendo @spoomed there will be lots of momma Lucy Gray and clementine content and a dive into their relationship!! coryo is also allowed to be there if he behaves and eats his veggies

But before that comes to be here a handful sneak peek of what is to come! ✨

TRUE SALT ROUTE (differences and how to achieve it) PART 1

*when spamton loses his keys select “don't help” spamton will come and ask you to help him find them. Selecting ‘no’ will loop the dialogue until you say yes

*spamton will then reveal that there is a shortcut in the dumpster back to the trash zone. Follow him

(fyi shortcut can only be used once)

*in trash zone spamton will be standing in front of his shop and says that the keys aren't here

*a dialogue box will appear. The options are ‘leave’ and ‘retrace your steps. Select the latter.

*Spamton will then force you to help him retrace his steps and joins the party

*DO NOT give spamton your SPARE key

*since the shortcut no longer works you must walk all the back through cybercity. When you encounter enemies, have spamton use heartbreaker on them

*After you kill enough enemies spamton begins to wonder why Kris is having him kill everyone. The response options are ‘freedom’ and ‘...’. Pick ‘freedom.’

*Spamton will go quiet for a few seconds before saying “....free…?” he’ll then burst into unintelligible laughter and tells Kris that they’re a “funny man! 

Nothing is [BUY ONE GET ON FREE]! (but don’t you wait) once we find [workout read- my [KEYS] you and I will be [BIG SHOTS]...

…right?

*After this, spamton may start using heartbreaker even if you don’t tell him to, and he goes quiet

*eventually you’ll run into the Blue Addison. This  will play out similar to how it goes in the normal route, with the addison hugging Spamton and the “The Addison is sparing you”

*now here comes the big difference; Spamton will not do anything initially no matter what you select, he’ll only go “...”

*select defend every turn and this will happen eventually:

Spamton (being held by the addison): You…

*Spamton’s heart appears behind the blue Addison and the screen goes black as we hear the sound of the attack

*The scene will return but the Addison is nowhere to be seen. Spamton trembles before breaking into hysterical laughter. 

HOLY [CUNGADERO] DID THAT FEEL GOOD!

*Spamton will then thank Kris for helping him find what he was looking for but says he no longer needs our help and walks offscreen.

*We are then left alone to walk through cybercity alone. 

*There will be no NPCs or enemies and the streets will be dead, and the music will change to ambient sounds.

*Once you reach the ball toss you will encounter Noelle. She (attempts) to scold Kris for leaving her alone but gets cut off as we hear Queen coming and hides.

*Queen will tell Kris that she was worried about them since they never came back from changing the stoplight

*the next section goes exactly as it does in the normal route: Queen wins the ball toss, gives the prize to us, Susie and Ralsei show up, Noelle joins the party and we begin making our way to the mansion. The only difference is all the puzzles have been broken. 

Ralsei: It looks as though something took a bite out of it…

Susie: HEY WHY ARE YOU LOOKIN AT ME?!

*When you reach the mansion entrance, 4 cages will drop down and capture everyone.

comics as an art form make me insane. they’re so difficult to do well. there’s so many different ways to make sequential art work and most of them are deeply unintuitive. onomatopoeia that feels completely ridiculous to put down often reads seamlessly. panels on a page become a fractally nested image composition challenge that’s only possible to lose because if you do a good job no one will notice. you have to direct the readers’ eyes on a specific path across the page but also account for the fact that they won’t follow it. comic time isn’t linear. if the order of events isn’t crystal clear the story becomes incomprehensible. sometimes you need to do this on purpose. all this for a medium almost universally considered less effective than animation and less respectable than plain text. even its own name doesn’t take it seriously

a comic i made in about 15 hours for my school’s comic anthology. the theme was “evolution”

Anyways, thinking about Batman pulling his disappearing act on the GCPD rooftop for the first time after partnering with Robin, and just leaving Robin behind.

Gordon turns around, notices that Batman is gone but the kid is not. Then Robin notices that Batman is gone, and promptly burst into tears because, “He left me! He left me behind!”

Jim Gordon is not heartless and he’s a father, he takes the kid into the precinct. He gives him a blanket and a snack. He tries to calm him down and asks if he knows a phone number that he could call for Batman. He gets a wobbly, “He doesn’t have a phone.”

Jim steps out of his office for a second to speak with an officer about turning the bat signal back on, and when he gets back to his office the kid is gone. The crime scene photos and forensic report from the joker attack yesterday are also gone from his office.

Meanwhile Robin is standing in the alley behind the GCPD, waving as Batman grapples down to meet him. He gives him a big smile and says, “I got the evidence!”

“Good job, Chum.”
