Ascended Ferryman!! What does his form look like now?
something like this!!! since the terminals say many of the angels of humans take on abstract or animal-like qualities, i decided to base their form loosely off of a jellyfish with their holy cloth acting as the bell. they are obviously very nautically themed otherwise, with their coins turning into golden adornment and their halo bearing the greek for "fishers of men". their wings are similarly skeletal as they are and somewhat based on how i stylize the wings of virtues to show they too are from a mortal soul despite achieving some human qualities.

Related to his sense of touch/feeling… Is Springtrap aware of the body inside himself or does he consider himself one whole mass? Like, some kind of cognitive separation between the outside fabric/metal part and the fleshy part? And, would it be painful for him if you were to touch the fleshy part or would you die before you get the chance? (maybe with a 10ft pole haha)
Your art is very lovely and your headcanons as well! I had a “Spring loses his memory” hc as well so it’s interesting to see the difference. Cheers!
that's a really good question and honestly something i hadn't fully considered. i would say he isn't even aware of the remains within them. like yes he's got holes in him and surely he's seen creepy crawlies make themselves at home with him (ew) but you could take off his suit's face and he'd be like wtf. he probably thinks of himself as one whole body
i think his endoskeleton is much more sensitive to touch than his outer body. more sensitive to pain? i don't know. he can feel pain from an electric shock, though. that'll rattle him for a brief period of time. and maybe if you were to try maintenance on him w/o him realizing he'd jolt from that contact
he's like a hermit crab he's being exposed....

to summarize an unduly rambly post: our control over kris has been steadily growing more and more distressing for them throughout the story. the snowgrave route, possibly the most gut wrenching, violating imposition of our will on theirs AND Noelle's (*homer voice* so far!), explicitly, thematically, and visually represents possession and coercion through romantic imagery, specifically rings and weddings. it's nauseating. it forces both of them into an implied relationship that neither of them is comfortable in by leveraging noelle's desperate wish to reconnect with her childhood friend. it has exactly the horrible connotations you don't want it to have.
ralsei being presented as both a direct callback to asriel—both the undertale asriel we know, and y'know... kris' brother in deltarune—while also setting him and kris up in a clearly romantic context that kris does not seem to either share or be comfortable with, is not a coincidence. it's not an accident. "isn't that a little incestuous" that's the point! kris' agency being stripped away is one of deltarune's main thematic cores: the game is repeatedly setting up a pattern where that theme is reinforced by putting kris in upsetting, unwanted romantic relationships for OUR entertainment. nothing fits the bill better than pairing them with the nostalgia bait companion that literally looks like their brother.

Weird Magic: the Gathering effects: Second edition
A couple months back, I ran a poll where people guessed which of a bunch of weird MTG effects wasn't real. It was fun, so we're running it back with a second batch of weird things.
As last time, only the current text of effects is used, not necessarily the one printed on the card. Limited to cards that exist in paper, and are legal to play in at least some tournament formats. Though this time, I did expand a bit to rules that aren't directly on the cards, but might be part of the full rules text of keywords from the comprehensive rules, and then those keywords are on cards.
Have fun!
