#Space turtles

I just heard a very random fact and had to look it up to see if it was true or not.

It turned out to be true.

Warning, this is a bit of a space info dump like the ones donnie makes but a lot shorter.

Apparently in 1968 during the space race, the Russians sent up a spacecraft called the Zond 5 to circle around the moon and return. This was the first moon mission to include animals and return safely to earth.

It contained an extensive biological payload which included 2 turtles.

The craft and both turtles returned to earth safely with the turtles only losing 10% of their body weight due to starvation. Otherwise the turtles were perfectly fine and had no loss of appetite.

Well technically they were steppe tortoises but still, this was something I did not know until now.

I bet you Donnie’s jealous of the space turtles.

Hihi! Mikey got tooo excited to finally meet someone new!!! He's excited to make his first friend ever. Leo is dying from anxiety but he has joined him to protect him from any potential threats. Raph and Donny were too scared to initiate social interaction with someone who isn't their brothers/dad. Sorry if they're too much, I promise they're friendly

There is nothing worse than having to lift up the cushions of a childhood couch to find the remote, not knowing what disgusting horrors lie dormant amongst the crumbs and candy wrappers. I avoided sitting where my dad does on the sofa because, for all I love him, the man devours snacks like a wood chipper and I don’t want to even know how crumby those seams are.

Donnie has a gas mask because he absolutely does not want his nose anywhere near a cushion that so many peoples butts have been on. What are they watching? Idk maybe slime tutorials cause they’re both definitely theatre kids lol

@tmnt-iteration-compeition it's this thing where every time i draw tortlez leo i draw him with sharp ass eyeliner. (Example being the Halloween gift i drew where Leo's eyeliner is sharper than his sword)

So yeah uh... I guess the girlies would try to compete who has the prettiest eyeliner.
