Maybe that was because he wasn’t sure he’d even seen them before now, when Lan Zhan neatly rolled up the sleeves of his soft-looking cardigan to reveal smooth skin stretched across firm muscles. Should forearms look so mouth-watering that all you wanted to do was sink your teeth into them? Wei Ying had no idea, and he was not going to ask Lan Zhan, either. Not when Wei Ying had managed to get Lan Zhan to agree to experiment with him. Wei Ying didn’t want to risk scaring Lan Zhan away now.

Problem is, he either sounds too whispery, which is okay until he’s supposed to be mad in a certain context and now he just sounds constipated

Or too loUD, which oddly kinda makes him sound like Ben Shapiro, and I’m NOT looking forward to get off to that 💀💀

I managed to get something a lil in between, but the vocal inflections were still so off and it bothers me so damn much 😭😭. Maybe ai is simply still unable to capture the essence of kai anderson idfk

as a follow up to the Kokiri Emerald conversation: I think I'm leaning on Link finding it back in his pocket after the jump back in time for Thralls in particular, that way I don't have to introduce the kokiris in the story and that simplifies the conflict (and even allows me to replace the McGuffin I needed for a specific moment in the story with the Emerald, which would make that moment so much more impactful). A fact that is always appreciated.

i think the fact that even maya doesn't know all the secrets of the magatamas combined with the fact that phoenix canonically has SOME sort of latent spiritual ability (or at least an inclination for it. he can literally see mia sometimes even when she's not being channeled come ON) could open the door to so many shenanigans. a couple weeks go by while phoenix is in the city and maya is in kurain and they think they're just sometimes hearing each other's voices in their head because they miss each other but then something sets them off like hm. something about this is strange. and it turns out that they've been accidentally using their magatamas as a sort of telepathic communication device (and considering how often maya seems to read phoenix's mind it COULD be possible). eventually since phoenix's magatama is charged with pearl's energy pearl picks up on it as well and it's like a telepathic group chat. the problem is figuring out how to turn it the fuck off

I think August absolutely has the gall to turn on the puppy eyes and the "I'm ur best friend" act the second Mage passes and becomes a ghost. Not ten minutes ago, he was all "Umbra, Slice!" (A bit like a Pokémon trainer tbh). But then he gets salty about being the only one eternally bound to Honeywood on account of dying within its borders. Like I can imagine he and Mage both on either side of the Honeywood borders and August being like "I know I caused ur death but we're still friends right? Will u accept an apology hug? (And come within Honeywood's borders, therefore becoming forever trapped)" (Idk if that's how it works tho, might only be if you die proper in there but roll with me here.) In like, *that* voice, you know?
