Been playing a lot more steam deck these days. Been playing staxel which is pretty chill. Farming, foraging and catching bugs really so far. Went out for dinner and saw a japanese anime movie called suzume. Highly recommend you watch it, but watch the subtitled version. Go back to belfast Monday which is good I'm kind of glad really. Be glad to see family and chill. Been feeling restless lately but I think that'll settle at home.

I'm Bringing Farm Sim Friday's back to my Streams

I will say, I also have Rune Factory 5, Stardew Valley, And Pioneer of Olive Town, but I'm not putting them as an option because I wanna give some attention to maybe some less well known farm sim games. Ones that you don't hear about. I will eventually play those games, but again, give some love to some other farm games-- maybe you'll find something new too.

i've been wanting to play a farming game other than sdv, and hopefully not buy anything new, so i tried palia and it didnt work, and i tried sun haven on my deck which is ok but the controls are so fucking bad and the scaling is weird and hard to see... that game would be really good with some basic tweaks. it would be one of the best of its kind if the ui and controls were fixed. not quite sdv levels, but really really good. then i realized. i havent played apico in ages. i got it right when it came out, and it's gotten a ton of content updates! in fact....

it's about to have its final update in 9 days. wait. wait actually that messes things up, i kinda want to wait and play it in its full glory. wait no i should have forgotten about this game for 2 more weeks this sucks

Happy 10th Birthday to the Dangthatsalongname Channel!

This drawing took forever to finish but it’s done now. I loved going back into the past and re-watching old videos and watching some for the first time. Some of my favourite episodes has to be the Fairytale Fallout bloopers for both seasons and the first episode of Funcraft!

The fan art has all the Minecraft series that are currently on YouTube and some that were streamed on Twitch/YouTube + on other people’s channels (I hope I haven’t missed any others because counting and checking took a long time. I’m desperate to play more games like stardew but I don’t know where to start. It’s also the only game of its kind I’ve played so I’m worried older games like harvest moon might not be as exciting after playing stardew. Do you have any recs? Thanks :)

I think steam is full of like my time at portia and staxel type stuff of wildly varying quality. But if you just want more stardew like yeah youll get varying amounts of actual stuff in the game but old harvest moon games are literally the exact same in terms of gameplay and progression except they didnt bother with bad "combat". Growing up i liked harvest moon a wonderful life which i remember as being a little different and its also 3d

Ive also heard really good things about rune factory which is apparently similar but ive never played

Staxel Update: A chicken has been acquired! Her name is Wings, I love the game generated names lmao, and I’ve decorated my house a bit more. I’m thinking of expanding the ranch fence line out so I can have more room for animals. After all, I’ve got one chicken, one cow, and one dog…it’s surprisingly getting a bit cramped 😂 and I think I can get other animals soon too. I know I’ve seen sheep and pigs, and I think goats? Plus other cute pets 💜

I also built someone a house! She’s moving in soon, hope she likes it :’D I did my best haha

Soon I’ll get my first portal event if the calendar is telling the truth, and then a week long Fey Festival!! First festival for spring :D
