Y'know I think it is important for people with vaginas to learn to love your genitals because they really are demonized and can be a huge source of dysphoria for some, but feminism shouldn't be fully centered around having a pussy. Cis women and other AFAB people most definitely are oppressed because of genitalia (ex. men asking "are you on your period" to discredit an argument) but it isn't fair to set up the pretense that you need to be AFAB to be a feminist or have worth as a woman, and that type of thinking could be harmful towards trans and intersex people, along with men harmed by the patriarchy. No one's stories are the same and it is important that they are all shared, but having a vagina does not give you more value or make you better than those who don't. Regardless of gender identity, sexuality, race, and genitals, everyone is affected negatively by the patriarchy and everyone (except for intolerant people) belongs in the feminist movement. A diverse ecosystem thrives while a uniform one fades.

After three trips to Michigan I’m more determined than ever to flip Indiana blue in 2024. In the last 24 hours I’ve seen more “signs” of ignorance than I’ve seen in total all year where I live. It’s sickening that people are doubling down. Indiana wasn’t red when I moved there in 1991 and went blue for Obama in 2008. The energy right now is even stronger than it was then. Next Friday I will be attending a meeting to become acquainted with others in my community who are working for positive change. I believe there are many more like-minded folks than I realize. It’s time to stop cowering in fear and come out roaring!

I just was deleting photos of Juan Soto from my phone. I started to feel saddened by the act because it represented yet another loss due to greed, but then it hit me. I could let this bring me down or I could let this lift me up. I'm sure that you know which one I chose. This new year is fraught with many challenges. It's scary. I'm gonna approach things this year in a positive manner. Shocking!! 😁 I'm gonna rise to any all all challenges that I will face and that others will face. I'm going to get through this, and I'll help anyone I can get through this, too. I've faced a lot of very hard things in my life, and I am still here. I'm stronger and wiser for it. I always make it through and so will you. I'll be happy to help anyone in any way I can. Together, we'll be fine. Together, we are stronger. Together, we'll make it. That's the key...
