Revolutionizing Pipe Rehabilitation: Little P.Eng. Engineering's Mastery of CIPP Liner Design via Finite Element Method in Accordance with ASTM F1216
In the realm of civil engineering, the use of trenchless technologies for pipeline rehabilitation has gained significant traction due to their efficiency and minimal disruption to infrastructure. Among these methods, Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining stands out as a versatile solution for renovating deteriorating pipelines. Little P.Eng. Engineering has embraced this innovation, revolutionizing pipe rehabilitation through its mastery of CIPP liner design. Leveraging the Finite Element Method (FEM) and adhering to the rigorous standards set forth by ASTM F1216, Little P.Eng. Engineering has propelled CIPP technology to new heights, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of rehabilitated pipelines.
Introduction: Traditional methods of pipeline repair and replacement often involve extensive excavation, leading to disruption of roads, landscapes, and utilities. In contrast, trenchless technologies such as CIPP offer a non-disruptive alternative, where a flexible liner is inserted into the existing pipe and cured in place, effectively creating a new pipe within the old one. Little P.Eng. Engineering has emerged as a pioneer in this field, employing advanced engineering techniques to enhance the efficacy of CIPP liner design.
Finite Element Method in CIPP Design: Central to Little P.Eng. Engineering's approach is the utilization of the Finite Element Method (FEM) in CIPP liner design. FEM allows for the accurate modeling and simulation of structural behavior under various loading conditions, enabling engineers to optimize the design for strength, flexibility, and durability. By simulating the interaction between the liner and the host pipe, potential issues such as wrinkling, ballooning, and stress concentrations can be identified and addressed prior to installation, ensuring a robust rehabilitation solution.
Adherence to ASTM F1216 Standards: In the realm of CIPP technology, adherence to industry standards is paramount to guaranteeing the quality and reliability of rehabilitated pipelines. ASTM F1216 provides comprehensive guidelines for the installation and testing of CIPP liners, covering aspects such as material properties, installation procedures, and quality control measures. Little P.Eng. Engineering's commitment to compliance with ASTM F1216 ensures that its CIPP designs meet the highest standards of performance and safety, instilling confidence in clients and regulatory bodies alike.
Benefits of Little P.Eng. Engineering's Approach: The fusion of FEM-based design and adherence to ASTM F1216 standards endows Little P.Eng. Engineering's CIPP solutions with several key benefits. These include:
Enhanced Structural Integrity: By meticulously analyzing the behavior of CIPP liners under various conditions, potential structural weaknesses are identified and mitigated, resulting in a more durable and long-lasting rehabilitation solution.
Minimized Environmental Impact: The trenchless nature of CIPP technology reduces the need for excavation, minimizing disruption to the surrounding environment and reducing carbon emissions associated with traditional repair methods.
Cost-Effectiveness: Through precise engineering and optimization, Little P.Eng. Engineering's CIPP designs minimize material usage and installation time, translating to cost savings for clients without compromising on quality or performance.
Regulatory Compliance: By strictly adhering to ASTM F1216 standards, Little P.Eng. Engineering ensures that its CIPP solutions meet regulatory requirements, facilitating smooth project approval and implementation.

Conclusion: Little P.Eng. Engineering's mastery of CIPP liner design through the application of Finite Element Method and adherence to ASTM F1216 standards represents a significant advancement in the field of pipeline rehabilitation. By combining innovative engineering techniques with a commitment to quality and compliance, Little P.Eng. Engineering is revolutionizing pipe rehabilitation, offering sustainable, cost-effective, and reliable solutions for the preservation of critical infrastructure.

what's weird about the fantasy high drama is that like. it seems to me like people forget d&d is primarily a) a game you play with your friends and also b) luck based.
I mean it's fine to say that "nothing felt like a challenge" and "they just dominated everything and there weren't any stakes" but like. it's not as if they weren't up against huge threats. they lost the mall fight. the last stand was an onslaught of enemies. they fought a dozen dragons from an airship. the fights were hard. they're just really good. they've had very good dice luck in general this season and are all very high level and highly specialized. fig is gonna beat deception and performance checks. adaine's gonna figure out the arcana. riz is gonna succeed investigations. like. for some reason their strategical competence and wisely picked abilities are. a downside? a disappointment?
the thing about d&d that you need to remember is it's first and foremost a game. it's mostly random and it takes you down weird paths and you're playing to have fun with your friends. the dice are literally telling the story that it's their time, it's their year. they've struggled enough. they've trained enough. they're good at what they do. and in my post about the academic/domestic/personal stressors being the focus, d&d doesn't have any other system to work them out than rolling different skills. that's what d&d is. brennan set specific challenge levels for different tasks and the players strategized to prioritize which abilities they were strongest in. the challenges were there. and the players rose to them. they were both smart in their delegation of responsibilities and lucky with their dice rolls. of which, both are foundations of d&d.
don't mistake them being good players and getting lucky with there being no hardship. just because they smashed through the wall, that doesn't mean the wall wasn't strong. they were just stronger.
#i know some people are disappointed from a storytelling perspective. but you have to understand.#what was brennan supposed to do. he threw things at them both at and above their challenge level#he created a whole system to simulate academic and person goals and stress throughout the year#he gave them plenty of chances to fail#he set DCs high.#the players just knocked it out of the park#you can't tell any story but the ones the dice want you to#if he had manufactured more danger or difficulty where there was none it would have felt cheap#and do you not remember the night yorb fight#like. the whole point of the year was that it wasn't hard. it just never stopped#they can do it they're capable they're smart. but the hustle and the stress and the fighting and the working never ends#that's why nothing 'had stakes' or 'felt challenging'#it's the slog that gets you. it's how long you're willing to keep going.#how much life can break you almost to your last breath but you get through it and you keep going anyway#but. i digress.#and i say all this with complete and total respect to other people's opinions#i feel no hate and wish no bad feelings on anyone who disagrees with this!#it's just my personal view on the whole thing#sorry if im being annoying i just have. opinions.#fantasy high#d20#dimension 20#fhjy

Finally finished Pathologic 2 for the first time! And on intended difficulty too!
Death count: 2 Casualties: 7:
Anna Angel - got infected at the first opportunity and immediately died the next night even though i used the good antibiotics on her. RIP.
Big Vlad - got what he deserved. didn't have the time to try and save him from his punishment and honestly didn't really care to.
Young Vlad - got infected after his father's death, managed to survive one night even without me treating him but then succumbed the next night bc his infection level was too high even with treatment. Oh well….
Rubin - this fucked me up so bad. he just randomly fucking died on day 7. i felt so bad because i didn't go look for his hideout when i had the opportunity and thought he died bc i missed his questline. but apparently he always dies if you haven't made your first panacea at that point?? didn't even know that was possible. Was really demotivated by that but still decided to try and salvage what i could.
Alexander Saburov - survived two nights after getting infected but died in the third. shrug pretty resilient tho, props.
Aglaya - said i'd run away with her but didn't manage to get there in time… tbh i thought she meant the next day…. 🙈 but from what i've read it's actually impossible to save her? so… kind of glad i didn't waste time there… lol. also don't really know how i feel about her like immediately falling in love with Artemy and wanting to run away together… she felt like a bit of a downgrade from her P1 counterpart ngl… but maybe that's bc we only have one route and a certain meta layer that was a really interesting part of her character is basically absent aside from some comments from grief and the children…. also miss the smizing of her old model tbh.
Aspity - Kind of pissed about losing her at the last opportunity. She was infected on day 10 when i was running around trying to save all of my children. tried giving her antibiotics but that didn't help unfortunately. the worst part is i did have one more living blood but not enough time to brew another panacea bc i never upgraded my alembic. like? another toolkit? seriously?? i needed a whole side quest for the first one! (also never repaired the repair table so all of my tools were busted LMAO)
i think all in all i was mostly just REALLY lucky on all the dice rolls. always took care to give everyone a (+) tincture as prophylaxis and that worked out pretty well most of the time.
Notkin also got infected at the first opportunity (tho it seemed like that's unavoidable?) and survived two nights with just antibiotics. After that it felt like i was honestly tempting fate tho and so i healed him with a shmowder, and this kid had the GALL to tell me i shouldn't have used it on him?? like, i'm sorry i CARE ABOUT YOU and don't want you to DIE, kid. GOD.
But i had like 3 shmowders at that point so… even tho i fucked up that one hide and seek game where you probably also get a shmowder……….. i didn't realize you could trade with the children immediately after finding them and of course the first one i found was the teensy and then i just ran off to try and find the others, sobbing
i also didn't really engage with the whole children's cache thing, like, at all. and apparently that's also a pretty good source of shmowders……… oh well.
in general i feel like there were a lot of mechanics i didn't really engage with as much as i would have liked bc I WAS JUST CONSTANTLY ON THE VERGE OF COLLAPSING AND/OR STARVING. only ever slept in 1 hour increments. tho i think i once slept two whole hours in one go. obscene.
i was also a total coward for most of the game and RAN from every single combat encounter lmao! i just got a little careless after rubin's death and tried my luck with a mugger in a burnt district…. and immediately died Lklasjdhfjklds. like, i knew about the death punishments and wanted to avoid it at all costs, that's why i was scared shitless
anyways, at that point i realized: if there ever comes a point where i'm unable to run from a combat encounter, i'm cooked. and i knew there was a notoriously difficult combat encounter late in the game. so i did something… maybe a little cheaty? but not really imo...
what i did is, i paused my playthrough and started a new game and then played through the first day and night and just went absolutely HAM on both the patrolmen on day one and the muggers in the night to practice combat. and turns out? it's actually kind of fun not being a coward all the time LMAO. I didn't even die so I feel like it wasn't too cheaty
at that point i felt like i was at least somewhat more prepared and went back to my actual playthrough and also started killing muggers in the night. AND THEN THE FUND REWARDS WERE SO MUCH BETTER HOLY SHIT??? actual fucking life saver. (unfortunately tho i ended up getting so dependent on the fund that i sacrificed a shmowder on clara's hospital quest to get the fund reward the next day…… felt kind of dirty ngl)
i actually managed not to die during the abattoir sequence tho! but there was a lot of sneaking around and punching and running away until they de-aggroed involved, ngl lasdjf idk why but the worms are so scary when they're running at you…. i think bc you can only see their eyes and so they seem to have this singleminded focus on bashing your head in?? lol
my second death instead was another really stupid one that i'm honestly actually not quite sure what exactly happened? i was fighting a mugger in the night but while i was waiting for my stamina to refill he suddenly starts running away and i just hear a slicing sound and i'm dead? so i'm wondering, bc the only other npc i could see beforehand was an army soldier - do the soldiers attack you when they see you fighting someone? even if it's a mugger? or maybe i was just a little too cocky and didn't scout the area enough. it just seemed strange that the mugger suddenly started running away bc he actually managed to land a hit on me beforehand, so it didn't really seem like he was running from ME? oh well, whatever, it's not like the consequences were EMOTIONALLY DEVASTATING (lara, i'm so sorry 😭)
another one of my favorite moments tho was on day… three? or four? don't remember, it's when you plan a meeting with lara, rubin and grief at midnight. i really didn't want to miss it but over the course of the day i totally ended up forgetting about it. but then some time after midnight i wanted to go to big vlad's house to sleep and on my way there i went to grief's hideout to save. and then i saw that he wasn't there. and it took me a few moments but then i went OH SHIT! and then ran in the other direction towards the steppe. and then there, in the distance, was a bonfire! and my friends!!! sobs and they weren't even angry at me for being late SOBS HARDER that was such a nice moment. and they even brought a sleeping bag, so i could instead sleep there instead of big vlad's house - under the stars! next to a nice crackling fire! with my friends!!!!!!! that made me so emotional for some reason…. probably bc it felt like it happened so organically with how i saw grief wasn't home and then remembered the meeting and then rushed there and stuff….
anyways, i can finally stop avoiding spoilers for P2! like, i didn't go in totally blind bc of P1 pre-knowledge and wasn't able to TOTALLY avoid spoilers so i knew about some plot points and the death punishments and stuff. but i am glad i could go in at least SOMEHWAT blind.
having played it to completion i do have some thoughts on the story and especially the treatment and depiction of the kin but i feel like i have to properly sort out my thoughts first…
#pathologic#pathologic 2 spoilers#idk why i wrote all that i just felt the need to share for some reason#i guess bc beating this game actually feels like an actual accomplishment lmao#i think i'll play quarantine next and then get back to P1#paused my playthrough to play P2 first bc I had already watched a lot of playthroughs of all the routes of P1#and also didn't even try to avoid spoilers for it so i didn't feel like this urge to finish it as fast as possible as i did with P2#P1 is actually so incredibly easy compared to P2 tho holy shit#like i actually enjoy playing P1. P2 is just STRESS SIMULATOR.#side note if you want to watch another playthrough of P1#go look up a channel just called “lone” on youtube#(maybe put in “lone pathologic” so it actually shows up in the search)#it's a really small channel but the guy is hilarious.#and i really enjoy his relaxed and lighthearted attitude while still being emotionally invested while playing the game#he also has a P2 playthrough which i can also finally watch now yay!

i'm noticing a pattern...... every time i'm particularly stressed out and i can't seem to go about my hobbies/pastimes the way i normally do, i cope with my stress by creating ocs and corresponding lore. creating ocs is my coping mechanism somehow. cuz now im over here creating my own yandere simulator au complete with all 100 students plus faculty/staff all with their own lore that stays in the realm of my maladaptive daydreaming. there's a full on film series going on in my head rn. and ykw im gonna do next? i'm gonna create my own genshin ocs bc why not??

Grian didn't want to ask his neighbor for anything. Spending so much time in a military as a recon sniper, so long alone in silence, tends to leave you with little social skills. He got forced to retire after an injury leaves him with bad back pain and some blindness. It doesn't help that his farming skills suck and he can barely keep a succulent alive. But Stress is so pretty, missing a couple of teeth, with a smile so bright that he's pretty sure she can give her plants sunlight at night. He wants to ask for help, because farming is hard, you need the right soil, the right watering times, and it's not enough to just water them, no no, you need to give them the right amount of water, in the right way. It's difficult.
It's not difficult to love Stress. So kind but also tough. He's seen how the sleezy men around town make comments at her, making nasty remarks that they would never say in front of their mothers. Stress is not afraid to mock them, make fun of them, humiliate them. He even saw her kick the sense from one of them after he tried to be touchy with her.
He really, genuinely doesn't mean to enter her house. He was tired, upset, lost in the woods, and, from the back, their farms and barns and houses look incredibly similar. His house key even fit and unlocked hers, he really doesn't think he can be blamed. Look, take it up with the mayor for their keys opening each others' houses. She was absolutely justified for punching him and breaking his nose, though. He gets it.
Stress, after knocking him on his ass, lets him explain, and she gets it too. Cleans and helps clean him up, and, well, it gives him a great chance to talk to her. Ask her how her potatoes and carrots and flowers grow so well. She tells him with a giggle that her secret is love, patience, and a lot of bone meal. And Grian's also been using the wrong soil.
She helps him after, as an apology for punching him. And, it feels really nice to have friend again. She teaches him how to garden properly (apparently, the stillness from being a sniper actually helps quite a lot.) She doesn't mind resting him with when his pain becomes too much, sitting and after tea he waits for her medicine to kick in. Turns out, on top of already being a badass, Stress also knows a lot about how to make her own medicine as well. She's so amazing, it catches him very off guard when she gives him a kiss one night before scampering off to her own farm.
He... might have a little crush. He offers the first carrot he manages to grow instead of a flower. He still can't grow those.
The carrot might also not be the best. But Grian's determined now. He's going to grow an incredible one, and he's going to grow it for Stress. That's his goal, but for now, this will have to do.
And he's going to get good enough at farming that he can help her out when she needs it, the same way she'll look after his plants if he's having an off day.
After everything, this is finally starting to feel like home.

Choose your own adventure. (You sit down.) (...) (In your simulation. The one he shares with you to take breaks. He always smelled like the soil from the farms he tended.) (You wonder if he would like to see that world, too. Basking in warm sunlight, in the field. Comfortable. Happier.) (...) (No. Perhaps not. He's too focused on his goal for you to clock him as someone that would want to take a break for that long.) (If anything...wouldn't he just want to get right back to work? Would not working stress him out even more?) (If only you could...) (. . .) Try not to dwell on it. [Sit and reminisce.] [Back to the middle of the room.(Leave.)]

I’m almost Upstate, but I think I’m being dragged back into the Yandere simulator fandom solely by people redesigning the rivals and some of the more popular non-rival characters (along with Ayano, Taro and Rioba)
And the reason I’m getting dragged back in it’s because I wanna take my own shot at rewriting the story and doing redesigns, especially because I remembered that the basu sister and “Ebola Chan” are some of my favorite characters designwise, and no one has been tackling them
Like, I have experience making characters for it. Where my first two OCs for the game terrible? Yes I came up with a whole new club and named the two girls morning glory and moonflower (both of them literally had the Japanese word for flower as their last name, and the girl who I named after a morning glory was improperly spelled & I use that as my handle for so many things outside of Tumblr.)
I never thought I’d get dragged back into the phantom after seeing all those videos going over what Yandere dev did, but here I am right now contemplating a whole rewrite for the game which has Ayano & Oka as best friends)
#ather talks#yandere simulator#Yandere simulator redesigns#I want to stress that I was in this fandom prior to Yandere Dev being exposed#and when Yandere Dev was exposed I was confused#Because at that point I drifted so far out of the community I didn’t think about it most of the time
