Here, have some warm up sketches of Michael Sheen as Miles Maitland in “Bright Young Things”. I love the way he portrays this character and the costumes are beautiful. The whole flick is a lot of fun, I especially love all the party scenes. His face is a challenge to learn to draw, but once you get it you’ll just want to draw that upturned little nose of his all day.

So,
We are Peach Thxory Productions. We’re a content creation & media company. We curated this event for the holidays with The Senses Lab, an organization at Syracuse University dedicated to making music creation accessible to students.
We produced this event, mixed the audio, and recorded the video.
Give it a listen.
Thank you so much for your continued support as Andy, Georgia and Miles head into 2024 with this venture.

This weekend, I will be driving out to Syracuse, New York for Retro Game Con! It’s Columbus Day weekend, so I expect it to be a beautiful drive through the mountains…but there will probably also be substantial traffic.
Retro Game Con will most likely be the last time this year where I host the raffle, so don’t miss out on a chance at a free autographed print! In November, I will be demoing at Kids Con as well, but my space in the gaming room may or may not allow for me to have anything other than the two computers and peripherals.

The Pudic Venus of the classical world are the representation of the goddess Aphrodite, naked or semi-naked, at the precise moment of modestly covering her "shame" or private parts, as if she had been surprised at the time of bathing or dressing.
It was one of the most typical artistic motifs of Classical Antiquity.
Let's see some examples:
-Photo 1, The Venus de Medici, Roman copy 1st c. BC, from the sculpture of Praxiteles from the 4th century BC
-Photo 2, Venus Capitolina, copy of the 2nd century from an original sculpture by Praxiteles. Capitoline Museums, Vatican.
-Photo 3, Aphrodite or Venus of Cnido, also called Altemps or Ludovisi. Work of the Greek author Praxiteles made around the year 360 B.C. Altemps Palace Museum, Rome.
-Photo 4, Aphrodite of Syracuse. Roman copy of the 2nd century AD. from a Greek original of the 4th century B.C.; neck, head and left arm are restorations by Antonio Canova. Found in Baiae, southern Italy. National Archaeological Museum, Athens.
