Week 3 ~ The Perfect Canvas ~ Friday

I run into Hugo in the kitchen because of course it is usually the first stop anyone makes after waking up and before he can have his own breakfast I find myself curious about his future plans.

Marisol: So, have you decided what you will do when it comes to your job?

Hugo: My job? You mean where I'm headed today, TechMunch?

Marisol: Yeah! I mean, you mentioned before how it wasn't your passion and how you want to focus on making nectar but it feels like you don't have enough time to do both and...

I guess I am asking what his plans are? I think, before the news of my pregnancy I would not have thought it important, I wanted to be with Hugo for who he is and didn't think too much on his career, but now? Well, now I'm wondering if he shouldn't take a more pragmatic approach. Does he plan on quitting his job to follow his dream and should I get in the way of this should he choose it?

Hugo: For now I can try to do both, the nectar on the side I suppose? I still have so much to learn when it comes to crafting the perfect bottle after all so it would be stupid to just leave my current career.

Ah and that is exactly what I am want to hear! I just don't want to be the only one bringing simoleons to the house because soon we will have a mouth to feed!

Being a tech guru gave Jason the chance to be profiled by TechMunch on their blog and get his name out there.

I hadn’t originally planned on taking screenshots of notices about promotions and things like this. But I found that my Sims just had so many events and promotions while going through the households that I could not keep up in the time between playing and posting them here! I had to start taking screenshots of the notices so I could remember them later and decided to place them into updates too.

At work today, Nicky was approached by a group of investors from Sillisim Valley. Apparently, word had gotten out about a project he’d been working on, in secret, during his free time. They feel like it’ll be a huge hit and want to offer financial backing.

If he accepts, not only will he gain a large amount of money, he’ll be featured in an article by the largest online tech blog, TechMunch, gaining a little celebrity status as well. 

He and and Ali talked about it all night and decided that this could be a great opportunity for them so he’ll accept. He’s excited about this new venture but equally stressed ...

Yooooooooo! @woodysgrilltruck killed it at lunch today at #TECHmunch. I'm perfectly full of French fries and their "crack chicken." We were able to order the food ahead of time thanks to @bistroplanet and they had it ready and waiting in a few minutes. So great!!
