So today was my first day teaching an after school elective theater class (10+ 2nd 3rd 4th grade girls) and holy shit y'all I have even more respect for teachers now than ever before because that was BRUTAL lmao it was like they could smell my fear and knew they could trample all over me. Maybe my viewpoint is skewed, seeing as I was a really meek, easygoing kid at that age, but I can't fathom just...blatantly ignoring the teacher when they tell you not to do something. I get theater is a bit more loosey goosey but damn I can't imagine treating any of my past theater teachers (or any adult for that matter) with such disregard. Hoping that they were just crazy because it was their first day back at school after summer break and they'll mellow out a tiny bit by next week.
There were two super sweet and responsible 4th graders that I'm probably going to have to lean on to get through to some of their classmates. Like appoint them "team leaders" or whatever.
Either way, no more Ms. Pushover next Wednesday--Miss Helen is gonna lay down the fucking LAW lol I'm going to print out a set of class rules and expectations and have the kids repeat them back to me, and I may invest in a fucking whistle to cut through how loud they can get. If any of y'all have a background in teaching or otherwise dealing with large groups of children, feel free to drop any tips or suggestions you might have to get a handle on a rowdy crowd of munchkins and gremlins without yelling or being overly strict.

Bruce Wayne Headcanons
that I cannot reconcile with current/most/ALL of his comics characterization but I hold onto nevertheless
—Bruce Wayne!! trains each of his Robins with the goal of them becoming better than him.
—Bruce Wayne!! intends for the Robins to be his actual failsafe if he ever went off the deep end. (Fuck that weirdo robot lol.)
—Bruce Wayne!! 1000% blames himself for Jason Todd’s death I don’t care what the comics have had him say or what his dumbass inner-narrative has said…*handwave handwave* all of that was just him desperately trying to cover the hole in his heart from failing his son so completely.

dude autism + dysphoria is a hell of a combo when it comes to bras. basically I haven't had a new bra since I was 12 years old bc I haven't really needed one and my frame is a bit larger than when I was 12, it's been what 8 years? anyway sometimes my mom remembers I don't wear bras and gets pissed and has me wear one so not only am I uncomfortable for the "dysphoria so bad it makes my heart hurt" reasons but also the "this thing is way too small and I don't like anything on my chest anyway for autism reasons" so I'm just sitting there fighting for my life like someone's strangling me with a corset
real footage of me rn btw

majora's mask is so fun it's like. ah yes how should we follow up our popular fantasy adventure game with only vague dark undertones. i know. how about we bring back our child protagonist (who in the previous game was put in a magical coma for 7 years without warning and woke up in a 17 year old's body even though he was still only 10 and then had to save the entire world that had changed so much while he was sleeping and then at the end was sent BACK to the past so he could live out his childhood despite the fact that he has already seen far too much for a 10 year old boy) and send him into another (parallel? hallucination? who knows) land whose population is largely made up of people with the faces of those he already encountered in the first game but now completely different. then we'll add in a time limit of three days before the world ends, which he has to repeat again and again by using time travel to return to the start of the first day. he cannot break this cycle until he succeeds. none of the others know he is repeating the cycle. some know they're doomed, others try and fail to escape before the world ends, others refuse to believe it. our other central mechanic is his collection of masks, some of which canonically contain the souls of dead creatures and forcibly transform him into them when he puts the mask on, which is heavily implied to be painful. it is also suggested he is searching for his companion from the first game who left him without warning at the end when this all starts. perfect
