I’ve read fics where the topic of marriage is something so very foreign and alien to them. They aren’t totally against it, they just don’t see it happening, or it just doesn’t roll off the tongue, much as it hurts to merely gaze at one another (an “I love you” between these fuckers can make me stop dead in my tracks) And tbh I find that really fitting for them, and strange in an endearing way. The exploration of that part of their relationship was something I didn’t know I needed. It’s like they become so much more tender and may I even say vulnerable in the face of it, to the point of them not really knowing what to do about it, which led me to recognizing that it could actually be a big deal for them and not only something that has a 50% chance of ending in disaster. I mean what is marriage if not two people being able to meet in the middle and really see each other and stay committed after that? And to witness that happening between Jack and Tyler? Truly a novelty.
Ngl gumball is the type to not fuck around when someone says anything about his gf he's very obsessed with
the tags aren't letting me tell you how gumball literally brought an entire PERSON, probably a dead one of unconscious as a SACRIFICE to a fake cult made by his own teachers and classmates (they didn't take it well)
Always a little jumpscared going through old (<2005) USA gaming mags for Guilty Gear reviews and seeing decent scores and nice things said about them lol
Honestly i think after the dark forest battle they should have just jumped forward. Any characters alive during the battle are now either dead or elders, unless they were kits, kits can be warriors. They just keep trying to shove old characters into things now and it sucks.
I 100% agree, that would have been so cool! A far enough jump could have solved the weird family tree and inconsistent allegiances problems too…
You can tell the Erins have favourite characters they don’t want to let go of, or that they think will resonate more with fans, and it just leads to them neglecting any new characters development. Why bother writing new characters consistently when you can just use Squirrelflight or Mothwing or Bramblestar for the hundredth time, right?
Warriors isn’t really known for its character consistency, but they’re kind of shooting themselves in the foot by forcing older characters to fill roles that could be taken by younger “blank slates”, imo. Older characters act OOC, and newer characters don’t get a time to be much more than allegiance fodder.
