"Interesting," the reporter leaned forward, intrigued. "You know, there are rumors about Y/N's love life all the time. How do you feel about all the speculation surrounding her personal life?"

Paige shrugged, maintaining her relaxed demeanor despite the stupid question. "I think it's tough being in the spotlight like that. People forget that celebrities are human too. Everyone deserves a bit of privacy, I'm more interested in her work and what she brings to the music industry rather than whoever she's dating."

Bowen leaned in, his grin widening. "Come on, Y/N, the people want to know!" He pointed to the crowd as they cheered, causing you to put your face in yours hands.

You then take a deep breath, pretending to think hard. "Fine, if I have to choose... I'd say Paige Bueckers. She's incredible on the court, and I've seen some interviews with her ─ she seems like such a cool person."

The audience erupts with loud cheers, causing both you and Bowen to laugh. Bowen's eyes widen, clearly delighted by your answer as he clapped. "Ooh, scandalous! Paige Bueckers, I love that! Have you met her?"

You shake your head, smiling. "No, not yet. But I did see a clip of her saying some really nice things about me recently. It was super sweet."

Bowen's face lights up with excitement. "She was practically gushing over you, this is perfect, we need to make this happen. Maybe you could collab, I don't know how but uh, if anyone could make it happen, it's you."

"Thank you, I think?" You laugh, nodding. "Totally, we'll see what happens."

Bowen turns to the camera, his enthusiasm infectious. "You heard it here first, folks! Y/N and Paige Bueckers, the crossover we never knew we needed but now desperately want!"

The audience erupts in applause and cheers, and you can't help but smile at the idea. Bowen turns back to you, his tone shifting slightly more serious. "Alright, before we wrap up, I have to ask ─ how do you deal with all the attention and rumors about your personal life? It seems like you're constantly in the spotlight."

You take a moment to gather your thoughts, caught off guard by the serious question. "It's um, definitely challenging at times, but I try to focus on the positive aspects. I love making music and my fans. As for the rumors, I just remind myself that I can't control what people say or think. I stay true to myself and the people who really know me, and that's what matters most."

Plus, Y/N responded so positively on the SNL interview. I think it shows she's got a good heart and she's just navigating her way through a complicated life!"

"I just kinda... wanna disappear for awhile," you confessed, your voice quiet as you pressed the phone to your ear. "Don't know why this keeps happening, you're the only that can... help me through it. Sorry if I woke you up-"

It happened again ─ over the last couple of months (ever since you'd broken up with Lauren) you'd gotten pretty severe panic attacks. You were told by everyone on your team to just stay off social media and what had you done... exactly the opposite of that.

"No, no, I was awake anyway, promise," Paige's voice echoed through the phone. You heard shuffling through the phone as you sniffled, sighing. "And I don't mind, like at all. I meant what I said, I'm always here for you,"

Your heart swelled as you managed a smile, as tears began to build in your eyes. You and Paige had only been talking a month and she already understood you more than anyone had in what felt like forever. Her steady presence was like an anchor in the storm of your life.

The constant media scrutiny and the aftermath of your breakup with Lauren had left you feeling alone, but Paige’s calming influence was slowly becoming your safe haven.

"I just... I don't know how to deal with all of it. The rumors, the pressure, it's all so overwhelming," you admitted, wiping away the tears that had started to fall. "Half of it, it isn't even true."

"Hey, it's okay, I know, I believe you," Paige's voice was soothing, almost like a warm embrace over the phone. Even the smallest affirmation from Paige made you feel all okay again, even if it was just for the moment.

That part made your lips twitch up in a smile, feeling yourself relax again. You took a deep breath, feeling a bit of the tension ease from your shoulders. "I just feel like I can't breathe sometimes. Like the walls are closing in, y'know?"

"I get it," Paige replied softly. She'd know about it all too well, she'd been through it herself plenty of times. "Sometimes it helps to focus on the small things. One step at a time, remember? Have you tried any of those breathing exercises I taught you?"

You nodded, even though she couldn't see you. "Yeah, a little. They help, but it’s hard to remember in the moment."

"Next time you feel a panic attack coming on, call me. Anytime, okay? We'll get through it together," Paige's voice was firm, reassuring. "You don't deserve the shit they give you, like at all."

"Thank you," you whispered, feeling a surge of gratitude. "I don't know what I'd do without you, P."

"You don't have to thank me. I care about you, and I wanna help. Plus, I like hearing your voice," Paige added with a light chuckle, trying to lift your spirits.

You couldn't help but smile at that. "Me too, especially your cute tired voice."

"Cute, really?" Paige laughed through the phone and you swore you felt like your whole world felt even again. "But uh, if you do really wanna disappear you can always come to Connecticut."

The thought of escaping the relentless spotlight, even for a little while, sounded like a dream. "Really?"

"Yeah, you can stay with me for a bit, if that's uh... what you want." Paige explained through the phone. "My friends are super chill and it's always a fun time, if you ever wanna come. Think about it?"

The idea of spending time with the basketball player you'd quickly become enthralled with, seemed almost like a dream. And getting away from LA and all the madness that came with it sounded heavenly, you were going to give Connecticut a thought.

You sighed, feeling a warmth spread through you that had been absent for far too long. "Yeah, I will. And Paige?"

"Yeah?"

"Thank you. Really."

"Anytime, Y/N. Sweet dreams."

The thing is if TS wanted to get married, she could have just asked Joe about it. Propose to him because she apparently loves him so much to the point of wanting to marry him (fuck societal norms because isn't she progressive or some shit). Or, just simply have a conversation with him about marriage and if it's something that he wants down the road. And if his preferences don't match with hers then she has the choice to leave him and find a man who wants to settle down with her because Joe doesn't owe her marriage. Joe strikes me as someone straightforward, hence, why during their time together and TS released Folklore and Evermore, people saw growth and maturity in her. Moreover, TS, to me, has always been the type of person who is very insecure. She wants what other people have—marriage (I have this theory that she’s so jealous of Blake and Ryan’s relationship and family and secretly hates them), kids, youth (Olivia Rodrigo especially), fame, charts, etc. And if people don’t give her what wants, she throws a tantrum and plays the victim because she's a spoiled brat who peaked at 19 too.

as someone who isn't a swiftie but certainly doesn't hate TS...wtf was that? she is talented, she has written so many incredible songs. but the album is unbelievably boring. she tried to be complex but the delivery didn't quite land for me.

It was a super bad fit for her style. I think she is best on tracks that either have wistful and youthful perspectives like "Back to December, "Begin Again," "Out of the Woods" or high romanticism like "Love Story," "Lover," "Paper Rings." Then there are the sexy genre hits like "Dress" and "Gorgeous," the wonderful storytelling of Folkmore, and the fun stuff like "Shake It Off" and "Blank Space."

The biting satire stuff she's going for in this one doesn't quite work for me. She does NOT have enough critical distance from her life and toxic patterns to satirize any of it well. Trust that if she decides to rehab her toxic behavior through true introspection - not with 'therapy' sessions provided by her mom - I WILL be there to cheer her on. Otherwise it's cardboard libraries that look like mausoleums, fan armies that are almost as aggressive and hiveminded as MAGA, and burn book albums churned out at a pace that inevitably compromises quality. My frustrations are not so much with her individually as the culture that has pitched its tent on her doorstop and mirrors her worst impulses. You don't love mother's behavior? Literally kys. Ok let’s bring up a lighter Vedic topic I’ve been wondering about for a while now LOL (as an Ashlesha myself ts is getting out of hand 😭). Hair colour!

Do you think hair colour can strengthen or weaken certain placements? While dominance in my chart is not the most obvious I do consider myself mostly Ketu, lunar, and mercurial (in that order too).

And I’ve been all sorts of hair colours in my life, but primarily I’ve been brunette, blonde, and now back to my natural hair colour of black.

I feel like since going black - mind you I’ve barely had my hair this colour in my life with me alw dyeing/bleaching it - has strengthened my Ketu and has drawn more Ketu themes into my life. But for a very long time I was a blonde and despite having a weak sun natally I do feel like that placement was strengthened during that time and brought on many solar themes into my life & solar people as well!

It could very well just be the influences of whatever dashas that were running at the time for me but I do truly wonder if hair colour can influence you in that way 🤔

i think any change we make to our appearance can influence us!!

a lot of people do this subconsciously. when we end relationships or want a "fresh start" we usually cut our hair which is a way of releasing old energy. some people never cut their hair because they have learnt how to transmute that energy to spiritual power (many indian sages never cut their hair)

claire had made similar observations about tattoos and how we subconsciously get tattoos that reflect our placements/transits/dashas etc

ive never dyed my hair so i cant speak from personal experience but i feel like some people's reputations change remarkably when they dye their hair?? like Shakira has pitch black hair but she became a world-renowned star with her curly blonde hair. Mariah Carey is another person who is known for her dyed blonde hair (theyre both Punarvasu Moon) Marilyn Monroe is another example, Katy Perry did the opposite (she's a natural blonde and has dyed her hair black since she was a teenager) Angelina Jolie is also a natural blonde but has dyed her hair black since she was a kid. And I do think making physical changes of any sort influences the way we interact with our chart. if we try to cultivate beauty in a healthy way, we enhance our Venus and as a result become more magnetic and draw in more light and energy. if we try to cultivate beauty in a destructive way (eating disorders, extreme cosmetic enhancements etc) we might still draw in energy but for the wrong reasons?? ive changed my style a lot over the years and I feel myself channelling different parts of my chart accordingly or perhaps different aspects of my chart activate themselves and demand to be channelled through my style who knows lol

I came across HS/TS synastry chart and found some interesting. Note that this is assuming TS' ascendant is really Scropio for the ones that include ascendant.

i think i finally had a breakthrough thought today on why most hardcore taylor swift fans i know react so violently and over the top aggressively to any ideation of “i don’t like her music” or “i understand why it’s so popular but i think it’s critically overrated.”

because f.ex. i am pretty insane and parasocial about the band ghost on the same level or worse probably as most of the swifites i’ve encountered irl 💀 but if someone says they don’t like ghost’s music, i get it. the voice is nasal, the lyrics can be silly and sexual and the music to the general radio/charts listener is quite heavy yet not heavy enough for many a diehard metalhead.

so!!! i think the key here is the type of parasocial relationship that is happening for swifties. in my obsvervation all the really intense swifites identify a lot with TS. it’s not an aspirational “i want to be her” it’s a literal “she is me.” which is also helped by her constant narratives of self victimization and being the underdog. so every single slight or dismissal that is said about TS is taken as a personal insult. an offense to the swiftie themselves. does that make sense??

while the general assumption about parasocial relationships are most often of a sexual nature (do i want to **** papa emeritus iv? uhhhhhhhh ok yes i do. but also that’s why i don’t care if someone says he looks bad, obv attraction is 100% subjective), but that’s not the case with TS, it’s of a she is me nature lmao. there’s probably papers out there on different parasocial relationship types and how they manifest but! that thought has helped me a lot as a TS disliker who keeps giving her songs a chance and then has to report back to friends with “sorry no i didn’t like it i don’t think it’s good :(“
