hi, i got into tvf a while ago and have been searching for cds ever since. i know their stuff is quite hard to find so i wanted to ask if you own tvf cds and if so, where did you get them? :O
Oh shit! I just saw this ask
I do have all their CDs, and the first vinyl pressing of ESDTWGIOB. I bought them all from TVF's merch store back when they were still a band and still had a merch store. (moment of ssdness 😔)
So that's probably not helpfull for your search. But! I'm on ebay and discogs constantly and I do see people listing their cds for sale on both sites with a fair amount of frequency. I've even seen the ESDTWGIOB vinyl get listed a couple times.
I also recently saw a pristene copy of The Circus in the used CD section of a record store I like to go to.
I think the best thing, if you haven't already done this, would be to add The Venetia Fair as a saved search to your ebay, and add each album in every format to your wantlist on discogs. Then just wait for the email notifications.
(You'll probably get hit with a lot of ebay notifications for the TVF comic. I'd say it's worth buying for the cute art even if it's filled with inside jokes)

My OC's in the Knights Radiant Quiz
@illarian-rambling did this thing recently where she took the Knights Radiant Quiz for her ocs. Thought it was cool so I'm doing it too lol.
The Legend of Orian Goldeneye:
Jas: Willshaper (81%). Considering what her motives are in the story, this tracks nicely. Killian: Skybreaker (78%). I feel he'd be more of an ancient order Skybreaker, operating within his own moral code with an understanding of how rules are imperfect. Orian: Edgedancer (77%). It kind of fits his personality, and he would love to slide around. Henrik: Skybreaker (74%) and Stoneward (74%). Man was born to be a Skybreaker, he's a garrison captain after all. Stoneward also fits him, as a soldier. Diana: Lightweaver (74%). She is a musician, her morals can be questionable, and she disagrees with Henrik about many things. Azura: Lightweaver (57%) and Elsecaller (57%). She is very much into the subterfuge aspect of the Lightweavers. She's also decent at tactics, a theme of the Elsecallers, and dreamshaping is somewhat similar to moving through Shadesmar. Morpheus: Elsecaller (63%). Very similar to Azura, but he's much more on the cautious side.
Tales from Valaria:
Octavian: Windrunner (77%). Like me! And it also fits his role in The Watcher and the Thief, though by the time The Hunter the Myth and the Cure comes around it's changed drastically. Draven: Willshaper (73%). He does what he wants, doesn't really care for rules but he does have his own moral code. Reese: Lightweaver (62%). I'm not too sure about this one, mostly because her morals align closer to a Willshaper or Edgedancer in my opinion. But she does tend to hide her true self from others. Luc: Windrunner (78%). Fits his morals and his job, he's quite protective. Hector: Windrunner (79%). Same as Luc, makes sense since he's Luc's mentor, but I'd say Luc has a little bit more Skybreaker in him than Hector. Damian: Edgedancer (70%). Bodes well for Caenum to have a heir that cares for his people. He was also willing to give up his freedom if it meant his captor didn't get what she wants, so he's fairly selfless. Kaira: Lightweaver (57%) (Also -20% for Bondsmith apparantly???). She's very good at deception, but that's the only thing that would be Lightweaver about her. Personally I think she'd be a better Elsecaller, due to her search for power. Rift: Elsecaller (54%). I don't know how he got this one, he has average wisdom and intelligence is his dump stat. But he would definitely make good use of Shadesmar (for "borrowing" purposes).
(Forsaken: The Doomed City):
Rowan: Elsecaller (74%). Makes sense, he's fairly cautious, he's the leader of the group (not very good at it), and he's willing to do anything to get what he wants. Victoria: Windrunner (63%). She definitely likes working in a team, and is really attached to and protective of those she cares about, to the point where she'd do anything to save them. Ollie: Truthwatcher (81%). Considering their powers make them a great spy, fueled by their natural curiosity, this fits. Sam: Stoneward (61%). She's the group's tank, the most reliable out of all of them, and fairly optimistic. Whisper: Elsecaller (70%). What is with my villains and getting Elsecaller? Is it because they all seem to be selfish bastards who do anything for what they want? (Nevertheless this does fit him).

My fellow desis please watch Panchayat on Prime Video if you haven't already. My God, that show is so beautiful I can't explain. After so long I have watched such a simple, heartwarming, beautiful show. TVF has hardly ever disappointed me, and this would be my most favourite work of them. And Jitendra Kumar, I ADORE YOU SO MUCH.

TVF Aspirants Review
Although Aspirants, a new TVF original, gives off the impression of being a mash-up of movies like 3 Idiots, Dil Chahta Hai, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, etc., the feel factor is what really draws you in. Even though the backgrounds of the vast majority of the characters are not at all relatable, there is a reason why films like ZNMD and Dil Chahta Hai are on the repeat watch list of many of us. And the reason for that is that we are familiar with the conflicts those characters are going through. Therefore, a show like Aspirants that emphasizes perseverance has plenty of opportunities to tap into viewers' recognizably human emotions, and it has done so successfully to produce a charming series with richly developed characters.
The three UPSC aspirants Abhilash, Guri, and SK are the main characters of this story. They all traveled to Rajinder Nagar in Delhi to compete in the civil service recruitment process. Abhilash had taken time off work for this, SK had no other options, and Guri was more laid back. Therefore, the journey of Aspirants is what we see. In this 5-episode TVF series, we get to see the anxiety they had to deal with, the difficult decisions they had to make, the sacrifices they made, the pieces of advice they received, and the arguments they had with one another, among other things.
List Series created by TVF
The series' creators appear to be fairly aware that the plot will sound quite familiar to viewers. They even acknowledge the Dil Chahta Hai reference at one point through the character SK. Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish, the author, chooses to concentrate on his characters rather than trying to deviate too much from that template. And what that has done is that it opened up many ways through which the series connects to people. It was SK's character for me, and if I had to choose a particular scene, it would be his call to Abhilash in the final episode. Others are not necessarily overly fictional, though. Abhilash constantly feels insecure, Guri exhibits excessive emotion, and Sandeep Bhaiya appears to have experienced the worst of all. Something familiar is getting presented here through any of these major characters, and that’s why Aspirants feels constantly engaging.
Tumblr media
In some ways, Aspirants bust this myth that realism is the new way of content creation. Apoorv Singh Karki shows you how an evolved version of filmy storytelling can still create the mood. In this web series, there are dramatic moments, corny romantic encounters, and slow-motion shots. However, it adopts the modern changes in presentation and gives it a fresh perspective. A masterful job was done by author Deepesh Sumitra Jagdish in fusing the central characters' emotional journey and UPSC challenges. Sandeep's life story is told to you in order to influence Abhilash and help him make the best way possible for his UPSC journey. The cinematography captures the vibe of Rajinder Nagar neatly, and the cross-cutting between the past and the present was done in a seamless way.
Naveen Kasturia convincingly conveys Abhilash's anxiety and obstinacy. He avoided overdoing it with a character that could easily veer into caricature. As Guri, Shivankit Parihar did a good job. I adored the scenes in which he struggles to remain a composed while with Kasturia in the present. I thought Sunny Hinduja did a fantastic job portraying Sandeep Bhaiyya. His performance had the effect of applying the maxim "less is more." In a scene, while he is telling Abhilash the story, Sandeep's fiancé demonstrates his faith in him to the audience. Because of the excellent line delivery, we will appreciate that anonymous character. The only female perspective in this journey is provided by Namita Dubey as Dhairya, who also plays a significant part in these folks' journeys. Namita's performance had the necessary weight. My particular favorite was Abhilash Thapliyal's portrayal of the overlooked friend SK. One character, SK, relies on his pals to help him forget that he has experienced some humiliation in life. He's that upbeat guy that wants the crew to stick together. SK is a very likable character thanks to Thapliyal's performance's sincerity.
The show TVF Aspirants has succeeded in striking the correct emotional chords. We might possibly learn more about characters like Dhairya and SK if there is a second season because they have developed a number of characters with sufficient depth. They have produced a show that is familiar on the surface but has flesh and blood that appears refreshing by blending the inner emotional difficulties of individuals with a competitive environment like the UPSC exams.

Jitendra Kumar CLARIFIES rumors about quitting Panchayat and fallout with TVF: “There was a misunderstanding”?
Fans are loving Season 3 of Panchayat, the popular comedy series on Prime Video. The show, which stars Jitendra Kumar, Neena Gupta, and Raghubir Yadav, premiered on May 28. Before the season's release, rumors swirled that Jitendra Kumar, who plays Abhishek Tripathi (Sachiv ji), had quit the show due to a disagreement with the production house, TVF.  However, Jitendra has definitively denied these rumors.
Tumblr media
In a recent interview with India Today, the actor explained, "There was a lot of panic, and I could see that all over social media. The last season ended on Abhishek's transfer and that also spurred the buzz further. There was a misunderstanding, and honestly, main bhi pareshan ho jata tha (I would get troubled) answering the same questions. At one point, I was like aur mat poochon, bandh karo yeh (don't ask about it, end it now)."
Jitendra also addressed the show's influence on his career, acknowledging his long association with TVF. "Given I have had a long association with TVF, people were worried about what went wrong," he said. "I understood it's their love and we just waited for the first trailer to end all speculations."
Thankfully, as Jitendra already knew the rumors were false and was actively preparing for season 3, it didn't significantly impact him. The release of the Panchayat 3 trailer effectively put the rumors to rest.
