so full disclosure, I never read the original novel, and the 《弯弯》 audiodrama should be considered a lot of things but a faithful adaptation? lol absolutely not (their own words)

this is actually a 网配 wangpei audiodrama from 2015, and the energy on it is utterly unhinged. it is simultaneously a love letter to and satire of 非天夜翔 Fei Tian Ye Xiang’s novel 《金牌助理》 Jin Pai Zhu Li, a novel that follows the misadventures of hapless aspiring musician Xiao Yi as he finds a day job to pay the bills while struggling to make it in Beijing. said day job? working as a personal assistant to the extremely frosty, extremely handsome superstar actor Lu Zhou. absolute hijinks ensue

this audiodrama is far ahead of its time, and also completely upends traditional adaptation by rewriting the script satirically and cranking up the speed. I screamed; I laughed; I definitely missed a turn while driving. words can’t really describe this production for its sheer insanity, so I’ll just link it above and call it a day

FNAF: Enigma (general info)

Enigma is a whump AU I created at the end of either 2020 or 2021, for the life of me I don’t remember. Keep in mind I started it well before Security Breach, and before Vanessa was properly introduced, when Vanny was also very ambiguous so I took what I knew (the mask and rainbow hair, referenced in the AR game) and pulled out my version of Vanny: a lesbian disaster with a rough past.

The premise of this AU is: William has been researching remnant—how it’s made, it’s effects, etc—and has amassed a cult following of various outcasts of society (whether they want to be there or not), and he’s turned his sights on Vanny. She is trying to live her life, but is haunted by a dark past and has a body count, making her a good candidate for William to manipulate into becoming a prolific killer. Vanny doesn’t want to join him, so he, knowing that she and Michael are very close (a sort of father/daughter relationship), takes Michael hostage in order to get her to cooperate. Michael is punished when Vanny doesn’t cooperate, and is sometimes a bit of a punching bag for some of the more sadistic cultists.

The timeline for this is. Convoluted but this is FNAF so. FNAF 4, 2, and the original occur as in the games, in that order, including both the Bite of 83 (victim being Cassidy Afton—yes I’m calling him Cassidy it’s a cute name) and the Bite of 87 (victim being Jeremy Fitzgerald; at the time, Michael’s bf). Michael goes undercover as Mike Schmidt to figure out wtf is going on, figured out his father is responsible for the deaths of the 5 missing children (vengeful spirit Cassidy is different from Crying Child Cassidy), and sets out to bring his father to justice. Shortly after Michael leaves the FNAF 1 location, the restaurant closes and William suffers the springlock failure, but, instead of being left in the supply closet for 30 years, he’s found by the members of his cult and extracted from the spring Bonnie suit. Michael ventures to sister location, where he is scooped, and after ejecting Ennard into the sewers (gross), he circles back to Henry Emily to figure out what to do, where they decided to end the madness once and for all, leading to the events of Pizzeria Simulator. Vanny joins the team a few years in (collecting all of the scrapped animatronics is difficult and takes a while), and is clued in to Michael’s past, as they both are haunted from their own mistakes and the mistakes of their fathers. No, FNAF 3 does not happen

William’s cult started as research into remnant and how it works, discovered shortly after Charlie Emily’s murder in 1987 (a week before the murders of the 5 missing children). Most of the members of the cult are those who were preyed upon at their lowest and have no way to leave, and were tempted by William giving them promises of ways to fix their problems. The others are genuinely sadistic and enjoy causing pain and misery.

Miscellaneous info:

Mrs. Clara Afton was a lesbian when she was alive, marrying William (a gay man) in the late 60’s in order to present as a heterosexual couple. They also had kids in order to keep up that facade. She was murdered by William after Elizabeth’s death, as she planned on leaving him and taking Michael with her

Charlie Emily and Michael Afton were close as children. Even more unfortunate that Charlie saw William as a sort of uncle, leading her to trust him, which is why he was able to kill her (she was 15 at the time)

Michael Afton is trans. Just for funsies. William may be a murderer but he’s not a monster (transphobic)

Sammy Emily is still alive. He and Michael weren’t as close as Michael and Charlie were, but after Charlie’s death they became closer, almost brothers

Vanessa Howard had a younger sister, Lea, who couldn’t pronounce “Vanessa,” and instead called her “Vanny.”

William’s design (half rotted corpse gnarled with twisted, rusted metal) is very much so inspired by his design in The Fourth Closet (keep in mind I haven’t read the books)

Ratko Kovac was a man in his late sixties with pale skin, silvery-gray hair, and steel-blue eyes. He often wore tailored black suits, matching ties, pocket squares, and polished dress shoes.

Synopsis

Ratko was the victim of Delta Protocol.

Before his death, he was the Director of U.N.I.T, succeeding Kavi Pandit and preceding Nicolas Doyle. He was a ruthless leader and also a traitor to his people. He had worked with SOMBRA since he was a young man and joined U.N.I.T on their orders. He quickly climbed the agency ranks and eventually became the Director, with Nicolas, his fellow SOMBRA agent, as his second in command.

During his life, Ratko ruined countless other people's lives. While Nicolas was the one to start the fire that nearly killed the Douglas-Pandit family, Ratko was the person who ordered it. He was also responsible for separating Nathan and Avi from Oberon, sending them to different hospitals and informing each that the other was dead. He later sent Nathan and Avi to Grimsborough while Oberon was in a coma, further breaking up the family.

He also abused his position and power as Director. He would force his subordinates to do work they were uncomfortable with and even physically hurt them for his pleasure. He never went as far as raping anyone, but his sadistic methods had an underlying sexual nature. He got off listening to people scream and beg for mercy and enjoyed every minute of having people under his control.

Another horrible act he did was kidnap Nathan after the coroner had dropped his son off at school. He had deemed the agent's undercover mission to take down the Crimson Order a failure because they needed the G.I.A.'s assistance. He decided to rehabilitate Nathan and turn him into the perfect, obedient agent. He would do this by erasing Nathan's memories of his family and friends with the help of an inhibitor chip, turning him into an emotionless assassin.

Using the Grimsborough asylum U.N.I.T had purchased, he captured Nathan and held him hostage for a week. During this time, they examined the agent and planned to implant him with an inhibitor chip and assistive technology, starting with his eyes. They would give him electronic eyes to remove the need for Nathan's sight injections. Ratko also took Nathan's imprisonment as an opportunity to torture him as revenge against his grandfather for the man always unknowingly stopping his plans when Kavi was Director.

But thankfully, they never got around to putting the chip or implants into Nathan. He escaped the night before Ratko's death, but not without first poisoning his boss. Nathan wasn't trying to kill Ratko, but he wanted to slow the man down so he could get away. The poison weakened the Director, which helped his killer overpower him.

With Ratko at the killer's mercy, they removed his brain, killing him slowly and painfully. Ratko's body was left in the fountain of the Grimsborough greenhouse, where it was discovered by Charles Parker, who immediately reported it to the police. Adalet, who was in Grimsborough with the PBPD team for Fili's funeral, took on the case.

It was revealed during his murder investigation that Ratko had purchased the asylum to convert it into a rehabilitation center. But the real unknown reason was to use it as a front for SOMBRA. It would become an experiment and training facility for SOMBRA recruits, but his death stopped the renovations from continuing. Ratko's killer unknowingly helped delay SOMBRA's plans for world domination.

Ratko would never live to see the victory or fall of SOMBRA, and the world is a safer place with him gone.

Status: Deceased (Sacrificed himself to keep the rebellion group safe from a mafia type group that was after them at the time.)

Oldest of the group, being in his early 50's

Participated in the Wasteland War, and lost one of his legs as a result.

Was originally married to his wife, Muriel Baggabone (who was a Salt and Pepper Minature Schnauzer Hybrid), but she passed away due to a horrible illness.

He always wanted a family of his own, but due to his late wife dying in their 20's, he wasn't able to.

Regardless if he is undercover or not, he prefers to be called Grandpa. It's not only because of the reason above about not being able to have kids of his own, but being called by his name gives him bad memories (losing his wife and participating in the war.)

The only one who could call him by his real name was the original leader Tom. They both met after the war was over and agreed to start a resistance group together in order to stop the injustice of Eden.

Eustace was the second in command when Tom was originally the leader. However, he did take over briefly as leader when Tom died. He has since stepped down as second command again so that someone with young blood could lead the group.

Definitely has a lot of "back in my day" stories, with mixed reactions from the group.

Comes off as a grumpy old man to others, but is incredibly sweet towards people he knows / cares about. Gives protective elderly vibes.

Lost touch with his parents ages ago due to unknown reasons. They most likely live in a nursing home together.

Also lost touch with older brother due to him being in the military for Eden. They are two years apart.

For someone so small, he can actually jump pretty high and is actually pretty fast despite his age. He uses these skills to his advantage when fighting.

contains spoilers for all chapters so it's best to read it at the end

all new additions are the ones with X in front of them

(Y/n)'s birthday was estimated to be around late October/early November of 1998. She was abandoned in front of a church, therefore they had no means of knowing her actual birth date.

November 13th 2006: Blake adopts (Y/n) from an orphanage in Los Angeles. They were 19 and 8 respectively. Blake went in for a PR visit at the request of her manager but immediately fell in love with (Y/n). After learning that she'd been in foster care for most of her life and had developed selective mutism from the constant moves and instability, Blake decided she'd start the adoption process in order to give her a stable home. Many judged her for it because she was young, and they saw it as "throwing her life away" but Blake never listened, and instead, raised one of the best actresses in our generations. November 13th became (Y/n)'s "official" birthday, as it is the day she was adopted.

March 21st 2016: (Y/n) makes her acting debut in Supernatural at eighteen years old.

April 27th 2018: Tom and (Y/n) meet for the first time at the Infinity War premiere and form a quick friendship that the public immediately adores.

December 16th 2018: Tom and (Y/n) start dating. It becomes harder to dismiss their touches as purely platonic, so the fans start to wonder if there's something other than friendship going on.

[Part 1] June 17th 2021: Tom and (Y/n) are paired up together for a Wired Autocomplete Interview. As their public friendship is very popular, their teams have taken to putting them in interviews together regardless of what they're promoting because it always brings in big numbers. However, this is the first interview they do alone. The fans promptly freak out.

October 28th 2021: Stepping Stones, (Y/n)'s debut album, comes out. She's been writing it on and off since she was thirteen and learned how to play the guitar (courtesy of Ryan), but she really put some effort into it when Taylor took a look at some of her songs and told her they were good.

[Part 2] November 6th 2021: (Y/n) and Ryan Answer the Internet to promote Red Notice and Stepping Stones. It's the first time in ten years that they're put together for an interview and the public can really get a look into their dynamic, even though they talk about each other and their family in other interviews. It was mainly put in as a ploy to draw attention from (Y/n) and Tom's relationship cause the fans were starting to connect Stepping Stones songs to Tom.

[Part 3] February 7th 2022: (Y/n) and Tom go on The Late Late Show with James Corden and play Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts to promote the movie To The Edge And Back. They had an official plan to reveal their relationship a few months down the line, this was part one of the lengthy seeding process so they could get the most publicity out of the revelation of their relationship as possible. Obviously, it all went to shit, but it's okay.

[Part 4] February 18th 2022: Tom and (Y/n) do the Boyfriend Tag on (Y/n)'s YouTube channel. It goes wonderfully wrong, bordering on indecent at times. Their PR teams hate them, and they hate that it worked even more cause know they have no reason to stop them other than "because society said so", and since we all know (Y/n) hates society... Let's just say it was a struggle to talk her out of actually making that Only Fans account solely for the purpose of pissing them off.

[Part 5] March 3rd 2022: (Y/n) goes undercover on the internet. The world finds out she has a Tumblr account and freaks. That's also the day she creates a public Tumblr. From there on, she'll send things she finds on her lurker account to her actual account and reblog them on there with actual commentary. It's caused many fan artists to have metaphorical heart attacks. Fanfic writers went through a two-week phase where they didn't dare put anything out, but after she urged them to keep creating content, the number of fics skyrocketed. Many fanfic writers were contacted by publishing houses after (Y/n) sent them a few snippets to showcase how good some could be.

[Part 6] May 17th 2022: (Y/n), Ryan, and Blake do the Who Knows Me Better? tag. It was brought on when Blake realised there were too many people freaking out about (Y/n) and Ryan, and not enough freaking out about (Y/n) and Blake. Therefore, she set out to prove that she was the Superior Parent and obviously succeeded. Ryan pouted for three days after that video, even more so when the picture they posted as punishment became the most liked picture on his Instagram after only a week.

Early July 2022: Tom and (Y/n) decide to move in together.

[Part 7] July 23rd 2022: Tom and (Y/n) go on BuzzFeed to find out who their Heartbeat soulmate is. It's only the second time they star in a movie together, the first time where they're protagonists and each other's love interests. In To The Edge And Back, they played Dove Cameron's love interests but were never involved themselves.

August 21st 2022: Heartbeat premiere. Their first premiere as a couple, having missed To The Edge And Back's premiere due to all the chaos and media scrutiny. They wear matching pirate-themed outfits, and the fans have a collective aneurysm. Many edits are made. Many fics are written. It's a good day for all involved. (Except for the poor PR intern who's trying to wrestle (Y/n)'s Tumblr password out of her cause she keeps reblogging NSFW things and he needs to make it Stop.)

September 28th 2022: Tom and (Y/n) buy their first house. They decide to buy completely new things to fill the house with (in order to start a new and hopefully more organised life, as well as optimising it to deal with (Y/n)'s ADHD). Their first purchase is a big soft rug and a long coffee table to put in (Y/n)'s office because for people with ADHD, working from the floor is the best way to not get distracted.

[Part 8] October 16th 2022: Tom and (Y/n) officially move into their new place, a house in a very private neighbourhood in London, so they could be close to the city for their jobs but still have privacy. Ryan and Blake help them tidy up the place (and build IKEA furniture, or at the very least attempt to). They decide to do a video for (Y/n)'s YouTube channel following a trend their fans have started called Which Reynolds is most likely to...? It's the first time that (Y/n) and Ryan are seen to be so affectionate on camera (see: the massive hug-tackle during the concert tickets question). They decide to be the ones to host Christmas and New Year's.

December 3rd 2022: Tom and (Y/n) adopt Atalanta, a two-year-old Golden Retriever who was left at a shelter in London and no one's wanted to adopt as of yet. No one understood why, since Golden Retrievers are fairly popular breeds and Tala was perfectly healthy. Tom and (Y/n) often joke that it was fate, that Tala was just waiting for them to pick her up and give her the perfect life she deserves.

X December 17th 2022: Tom proposes to (Y/n). He had a whole plan to do it at Christmas surrounded by their family, but she stumbled upon the ring when searching for the Christmas presents he bought for her. She screamed, ran to him, and threw the box into his chest. She made him ask and didn't even wait for him to finish the first word before she agreed and demanded he put the ring on her finger.

December 18th 2022: (Y/n) gets her XVII-XII-MMXXII tattoo

Christmas 2022: First time (Y/n) and Tom host Christmas. Blake and Nikki immediately get to gossiping about their eldest children. Dom and Ryan have a contest to see who can make the kids laugh the hardest, and it has the added purpose of keeping all children or child-brained adults (see: Dom, Ryan, Harry, James, Inez) occupied. Sam immediately commanders the kitchen. It's big, modern, beautiful, any chef's dream. (Y/n) helped where she could, bringing Sam his ingredients, making sure Blake and Nikki's wine glasses were always full, and helping her sisters to the bathroom when necessary. Betty clung to Tom the whole time, to the point where he got put on strict baby duty. He spent the night with her in his lap, feeding her when dinner time came, rocking her to sleep, listening to her incessant babbles of which he only understood about half. It also included a frankly criminal amount of My Little Pony. Somehow, he got hooked on the show as well.

December 27th 2022: TomYn engagement rumours start after Harry posts a picture of the family where a rectangle shape can be seen imprinted onto Tom's pocket. Many people say that's it clearly an engagement ring's box, while others vehemently deny it, showing through the proportions that it's most likely just his phone or wallet. No statements are put out anywhere.

[Part 9] December 28th 2022: (Y/n) goes on GQ and breaks down her tattoos. Her team got it as a last-minute replacement for some magazine interview, which is why she didn't think of waiting until after to get her newest tattoo.

December 31st 2022: Tom and (Y/n) host New Year's for the first time. All the clocks in the house are turned back three hours so the kids can believe they stayed up until midnight when in reality, they went to bed at a decent hour. They take the previous year's ball drop recording and play it as if it's this year's. Blake almost cries from pride at her daughter's genius idea. The Lively-Reynolds-Holland Fam's New Year's Eve 24 Hour contest takes place, and the points are put down to zero. Tom wins, much to everyone's disappointment. After sufficient pouting and a tear or two, he decided to play We Made It by Louis Tomlinson so that (Y/n) would be happy. It's a good night for him ;)

[Part 10] January 19th 2023: (Y/n) takes a lie detector test with Vanity Fair and admits to having lied during but not being caught. The internet goes absolutely bonkers. WHAT IS THE LIE trends for three days on Twitter.

X January 31st 2023: (Y/n) performs three steps to happiness at the Grammys. It's the 13th song on her second album, Serendipity, separated into three parts. The first one is about her and Blake, how they met, the adoption and the hardships that came with it, and Blake's transition from a legal guardian to her mom. The second part is about Ryan and Blake's meeting and the start of their relationship, followed by Ryan and (Y/n)'s meeting and his transition from Blake's boyfriend to her dad. The last part talks about her meeting Tom, the reluctance to let herself be vulnerable and get into a relationship, them moving in together, and how great things are now, including a mention of their engagement.

April 20th 2023: Serendipity, (Y/n)'s second album and the complementary piece to Stepping Stones comes out. The album is filled with love songs and references to Tom and her family.

X July 14th 2023: Tom and (Y/n) get married.

gruvia week 2022 - fantasy

The gleam of the moon reflected on the mirror of the windows of the small room they rented during their trip. Gray recounted how their day went - walked and walked and walked, found information about the other dragons and fought some bad guys. A pretty typical day for the team.

And Gray loved doing jobs with his team, not that he would tell them that. Their adventures together were enough source material for stories for his future children with Juv—

He groaned.

That was the fifth time tonight he thought about her. The quest took a lot of his time and he started seeing Juvia less and less every time they went back to Fairy Tail. Apparently, according to Mirajane, she’s not in the guild too much since she was training somewhere far to widen her arsenal of magic. Mira told him that since Gray and his team were often not around in the guild, Juvia used the time not being around him to get stronger.

Good for her for doing that! Juvia’s already an incredibly strong woman, and wanting to power up and train to be better and stronger was something he always respected. He just wished she was there every time they went home and spent time together, even for a short amount of time.

Because not seeing her made him want to scream, and not seeing her made him dream about her every. single. night.

He dreamt about Juvia sharing her scarf with him. He dreamt about them strolling the streets of Magnolia and enjoying a meal. He dreamt about flying a plane (a plane! He didn’t know how to fly a plane!) with Juvia by his side just admiring the view of the city from above.

Most recently, he dreamt about waiting for Juvia while she was walking down the aisle in a white dress.

There was no point in denying it, he missed her. A lot.

And sometimes, he fantasized that she was here so they could cuddle during the night, when no one was watching.

Tonight, this proved to be a problem. Every time he closed his eyes to sleep, all he could see was Juvia– bright eyes, pretty smile, flushed cheeks and the look she gave that was only for him.

She literally became the woman of his dreams. His very own fantasy.

Just a few more weeks and they’d head back home again, and Gray hoped to see Juvia then. He might invite her for lunch or dinner and talk about how their lives had been. Maybe talk about their future dates as well–

“Crap, I miss her a lot.” He blurted out, burying his face on the pillow next to him. He screamed internally.

He felt the other side of their futon shift and he looked to see who it was. He saw Erza reach something from her bag and threw it in his direction.

A small lacryma communication device. Something they used before when they were doing undercover.

“Number 2 is the speed dial for Fairy Hills. She usually drinks her evening tea at this hour.” Erza said, lying down on the mattress again and turning her body to the opposite direction. “Place it on top of my bag when you’re done.”

He stared at it and sighed. He grabbed the device before standing up to leave the room to get some privacy. Gray knew that they already knew what’s happening between Juvia and him. Despite this, he didn’t want Natsu or Wendy eavesdropping, accidental or not. He tiptoed towards the door, careful not to step on someone or trip on one of his friends’ limbs.

If he’s lucky… he might talk to her tonight.

Once he thought he was out of ear shot, he pressed the number 2 on the device and waited. His hands started to become clammy and he didn’t notice that he had cleared his throat four times already.

It kept on ringing and Gray’s heart dropped, feeling disappointed that he may not talk to Juvia tonight. He knew she would still plague his mind, him and Juvia together doing stuff that… people more than friends were doing. He’s gonna go insane if it continues. Don’t get him wrong, he LOVED thinking about her, but not being able to see her or hear her voice was a lot of torture for the young man.

Lost in his thoughts, he didn’t notice that someone had already picked up. A soft and sweet voice answered– the one he was looking forward to hearing, the one he needed to hear, the one he missed so much.

“Hello?” 

There was a lump in his throat.

“Hi Juvia. It’s me.”

She paused. “Oh, Hi Gray-sama! Juvia misses you a lot! We haven’t seen each other in months!”

The cheery tone she had was enough to calm Gray’s nerves down. “Yeah, it’s been a long time. I, uh, missed you too.” He whispered, only loud enough for Juvia to hear.

“Oh,” there was another pause on her end. “One moment please.”

Gray heard her muffled squeal and chuckled to himself. Just Juvia things.

She returned to the line after she composed herself. “Gray-sama, Juvia’s so so sorry that she hasn’t been able to make time for you. Training has been grueling the past few weeks.” He heard the tiredness in her voice. “Juvia promises to run back to the guild the moment she learns you’re back!”

He grinned from ear to ear. “Okay, I’m looking forward to that. We can grab something to eat after catching up with the others.” A blush crept on his cheeks. “What do ya think?”

This time, she didn’t hide her squeal.

“Juvia would love that Gray-sama.”

Gray extended his arm and rested his right hand on the wall. Hearing Juvia’s voice tonight brought him a tingling sensation in his chest. He looked down on the floor and bit his cheek. He wished she was there with him, but hearing her would have to do for now.

All they both heard the next few seconds were the sound of their breathing. Gray couldn't stop grinning and he was sure that a big smile was also plastered on Juvia’s lips. 

He can’t wait to see her.

“I need to go, Juvia. You should take your rest too.” Gray didn’t want to hang up but he had too, it was getting late and he knew Juvia’s always up early for her training. 

“Already?” She whined, and Gray imagined the pout on Juvia’s lips. He laughed. “Yeah, I’m always rooting for you for your training. We can spar again just like old times.”

“Juvia can make you dinner after too!”

"That sounds nice.”

She giggled. “You think we can cuddle after?”

A hum went past his lips. He beamed from ear to ear.

“Good night Juvia. See you soon.”

“Okay, good night to you too, Gray-sama! Juvia loves you so much! Take care!” The call ended and Gray felt the cool wind slap him outside. Despite the cold, he felt warm. 

"Love you, too." He uttered to the wind.

Gray slept soundly that night.

First Details

■ Story

A story set in midst of the 21st century, a little further in the future from now.

“Demon Summoners” live in dark societies and harness the supernatural powers of “demons.” And “Aion,” a being that watches over the world, detects the world’s forthcoming ruin.

To avoid ruin, Aion’s Ringo and Figue descend upon the human world. They head for protect the two people needed to avert destruction, but both had already been killed.

Ringo deploys Aion’s special ability “Soul Hack” to revive their targets. Working alongside the Devil Summoners, Ringo and Figue pursue a mystery with the future of the world at stake.

Will you be able to avert destruction…?

■ Characters

Ringo (voiced by Tomoyo Kurosawa)

An agent of the next-generation cyber lifeform Aion. A newborn being, she has a strong curiosity about human society and emotions. She stands on the front lines with Arrow and the other Devil Summoners, and fights to avoid ruin.

Figue (voiced by Nanako Mori)

An agent of Aion, like Ringo. Cool and discreet, she is like an older sister to Ringo, who pushes forward at her own pace. Figue also has an interest in and admiration for humanity, and is extremely friendly towards humans. She specializes in information analysis, and handles logistical support.

Arrow (voiced by Kaito Ishikawa)

An agent of the Devil Summoner society Yatagarasu. One of the “targets to protect to avert the end of the world” detected by Aion. He was killed while undercover, but was revived by Ringo’s Soul Hack. He is usually a quiet young man who does not say much. But he is also honest, passionate, and highly values morality. Because of this, he and Milady often clash.

Milady (voiced by Ami Koshimizu)

An agent of the Devil Summoner society Phantom Society. She was killed by an ally for an unknown reason. After being revived by Ringo’s Soul Hack, she accompanies Ringo in pursuit of the reason behind her death. She is calm and rational. She places a lot of emphasis on rationality and efficiency, and can sometimes make ruthless decisions, but her past experiences seem to play a part.

Psyzo (voiced by Masaya Matsukaze)

A freelance Devil Summoner. He was killed by an agent of Phantoms Society, but was revived by Ringo’s Soul Hack. He accompanies Ringo and the others in pursuit of a certain objective. He is a romanticist, charmer, and show off. Since he can read the air and act accordingly, he is often the mediator between Arrow and Milady. He keeps the team running smoothly.

■ Keywords

Aion

A beyond beyond human understanding, born from the farthest reaches of technology. It watches over the human world in the shadows. One day, it detects the world’s impending doom, and dispatches agents Ringo and Figue to prevent it.

Devil Summoners

Humans who form contracts with demons and use their astounding abilities to solve problems beyond human understanding. There are also a few Summoners, on the other hand, that use their powers for evil, such as assassination and crime. A Ringo and company fight to avert destruction, they become involved with the opposing Devil Summoner societies Phantom Society and Yatagarasu.

Demons

Spiritual beings that have existed alongside humans since ancient times. They are not necessarily evil beings, and even gods and fairies fall under the name of demons. It is said that in a certain place, there is a secret art of fusing demons to form new demons.

COMP

A gadget that assists in summoning demons. Each user’s COMP has a different form and can be modified to resemble their favorite item or decoration. Ringo and company’s COMPs were modified with Aion’s technology, allowing them to directly equip demons to the COMP itself.

Soul Hack

One of Aion’s functionalities. It is the ability to intervene in and improve a person’s mind and soul. Ringo uses Soul Hack on those who have just died, and intervenes in their memories at their time of death. It allows the person to be revived by drawing out their regrets for dying, and by their strong desire to live.

Sabbath

Attack the enemy’s weak point for an all-out attack!

Enjoy an even more exhilarating battle system based on the familiar Press Turn systems of the Shin Megami Tensei and Persona series.

Realms—Secret Cities

In the cities inhabited by humans, there are secret cities called Realms that only Devil Summoners can enter. In those cities, demons walk alongside Devil Summoners, and there are many Summoner-dedicated facilities such as demon fusion, COMP upgrades, and information gathering.

You are the adoptive daughter of Nick Fury, when you were 5 he adopt you when your parents died on a plane crash that was cause by Hydra, your parents and Nick were good friends that’s why he took you in.

You were a smart kid, always analyzing things, Fury told everything to you and never lie. To protect your identity Nick made you a new one as you volunteer to be an agent of Hydra to gain information and was branded by the organization. You did dangerous mission and always getting out alive.

You were then sent back to and joined the Avengers initiative but the avengers were suspicious of you as you came out of nowhere, no files, no nothing but a name and Fury’s trust.

No one knew who you are to protect your identity in recon so the avengers treated you coldly but you didn’t care, you didn’t tell it to your father about the situation you are in because you were train to adapt and you did. You were kind to them and all as you and Natasha got closer… like really close. Out of all Natasha Romanoff is the one you have trusted the most.

You got out from the elevator after a short report you did to Nick about the information you got for the Winter Soldier when you heard the laughing of the team as they sat in the living room with pizza on the table as they talked and laugh at each other.

The laughter halted when they all noticed you and silence came… you knew you were never welcome her but your father trust them so you really had no choice but to put up with it, sensing their discomfort you just gave them a nod greeting them.

“Good evening Avengers” no one answered as you expected and left and went to your room, you heard a light foot steps following you and a hand holding your wrist and seeing a familiar red head you have fallen with for the past few weeks.

“Hey Y/N, I’m sorry about the boys you know how hard headed they are” she sincerely apologized to you as you gave her a soft smile

“it’s ok Natasha, I know they still don’t fully trust me and I understand why, so it’s cool” you replied to her as she looked at you suspiciously searching your face for any lies but you being good at hiding your emotion she immediately gave up when she didn’t find one.

“So… Movie night?” she asked cheekily at you as your brows furrows

“what about the others?” you asked her as she started pulling you towards her room as she shrugged

“they can take care of themselves, come on!”

One day when you were alone practicing in the gym at 6 am of the morning you accidentally took off your clothes leaving you in your sports bra forgetting that Steve Rogers is always awake at that time and saw your Hydra mark on your chest and thought of you as an enemy and told the team as they planned to eliminate you on the next mission.

“I’m coming on your way” you answered running to Clint’s direction knowing the base like the palm of your hands as you shot a Hydra soldier who was sneaking behind him

“Thanks” you nodded at him you continue your pursuit taking down agents as you skillfully glide yourself on the battle field.

The battle had stop when Clint finished the last guy as Steve and Natasha immerge from the control room with a case on hand.

They must have gotten the information

“Mission complete, how’s the perimeter Tony?” Captain said on the coms as you get close to Natasha scanning her for any injuries and sighted in relieve when you found none.

“Perimeter is clear as the sky Steve were ready to go home” you smiled at the thought of home… Fury promised you a dinner with Maria and Coulson when you get back since things have been busy these couple of week and you were really excited about it since it’s going to be your first dinner with them again since you got back from recon.

“time for phase 2 then, Romanoff” you frowned at Steve’s word

Phase 2? You never heard about it when at the briefing

You were still in confusion when Steve called Natasha and you felt a searing pain by your side

You wiped your head to your side seeing a knife… a knife you gifted to Natasha lunge by your side.

You looked at her eyes full of betrayal and so as Clint and Steve who was in there with you.

“Phase 2 complete, were leaving, now die you Hydra scum” Steve said voice full of spite hearing a ‘good job’ from Tony and a ‘let’s go’ from Clint as you fall down on your knees looking at their retreating figure leaving you.

The last one you saw was the red headed assassin taking one last look at you as they close the door as your whole body fall down on the cold ground.

You shakily grabbed your phone dialing your father’s number as he answered rather cheerful

“Y/N why are you calling me? Is your mission done?” you heard your dad’s voice making you tear up a bit

“D-dad…”

“get your ass here kid Maria and Coulson just arrived here and im about to finish cooking these turkey”

“c-can I have a rain check on the dinner dad… I kinda messed up…” your voice was now shaking and you are feeling colder than usual the blade may have a poison as you felt a burn and getting light headed faster than normal.

Fury must have sense that there is something wrong by the way your voice sounded

“Y/N what happened? Are you ok?” you can hear his voice full of worry as you heard Maria and Coulson from the background asking what’s wrong.

“I-I think I was the p-phase 2 of S-Steve’s plan dad… it’s really g-getting cold here ya know” blood tricked on the ground from your wound

Your vision darken as flashes of memories filled your eyes.

You can hear the shuffles from the other line saying they are tracking my call and will be sending medical help

“I’m s-scared d-dad… I still d-don’t wanna go” you cried,

“Help is on the way Y/N keep holding on I’m here for you kid” you can hear the shakiness of your father’s voice, you kept trying to keep your eyes open and now seeing dark spots forming.

“T-thanks for everything dad… tell Maria and Coulson I love them…” your voice was barely audible hearing their cried for you to wake up.

“Keep your eyes open for me kid… please”

“I-I think a need a nap… l-love you dad” and you were gone.

They kept calling for you but you never answered back.

Fury along with Maria and Coulson with a medical team arrived at the base eyes redden because of crying as they found you on the cold ground with your phone by your side and a stab.

Fury cradle you like a baby as the medic announced your death with Maria and Coulson crying by the side.

“Did you check the monitors?” Fury’s cold voice echoed in a quinjet as your cold body layed beside him with your head on his lap stroking the hair that is covering your face.

“you’re not gonna like it boss…” Maria said with blood shot eyes as she played the video of Steve ordering the Phase 2 and Natasha Romanoff stabbing you as they left you.

“call them up at SHIELD… they would pay for what they did to her” Nick ordered as Coulson took his phone out to call them.

Nick glanced at you as he swiped some blood by your mouth hugging your corpse closer to him.

They avenger’s arrived at SHIELD seeing Fury holding Y/N’s hand as she lay dead on the table with Maria and Coulson by the back holding back their anger.

“what is this Fury?” Steve stepped out in confusion to why they got the body of Y/N

“What is the phase 2 Captain” Nick’s voice was colder than usual

“… to eliminate the Hydra-“ Steve answered as the other’s stayed silent

“and who is the Hydra?”

 “Y/n…”

 Then there’s silence, the team were uncomfortable with the silence but Steve was getting impatient with all of it.

“Look I don’t know what is your point here but you should thank us for killing the mole here Fury”

Fury looked at them as Coulson held Maria who was about to attack Steve as Fury spoke…

   “I see no dead mole here Rogers… all I see is my dead daughter”

  The team’s eyes widen as they froze from there spot

“W-what?” Bruce asked

“Y/N Fury... is my daughter who you called a Hydra scum”

“B-but she had the brand-“

“She had the brand because she was undercover inside Hydra that gave her the mark to extract information for your missions that is saving billions!” Fury angrily shouted making them all flinch.

All of it dawned to them as Natasha fall into her knees realizing she killed a hero… she killed her friend who trusted her… she killed the person who loved her…

“I pulled her out of the recon to keep her safe knowing her all her covers were blown, I put her into your team so she can be protected thinking after all those years of being away we can have a normal dinner like she wanted for years, I trusted my daughter in your hand yet you are the one who killed her…”

Fury stood up tears streaming down on his face

“Avenger Initiative’s termination is effective immediately, all of you would be put in maximum security prison for killing Y/N Fury” Agents entered taking their weapons and cuffing them

 “Nick… I’m sorry” Steve’s voice filled with regret rang out as Fury looked at him coldly throwing a file on the ground in front of him as the content spilled revealing pictures of the Winter Soldier.

 “Y/N wanted to give you this information from the last recon she was put in to, James “Bucky” Barnes is alive and now known as the Winter Soldier who is working for Hydra and has killed thousands”

Steve’s face was full of shock knowing his best friend Bucky is alive…

“Nick-“

“I’m sorry to cap…” Fury cut him off and coldly apologies to Steve who is now confuse to why as everyone in the room looked at them in silence.

 “you took someone dear away from me… and now I’m taking yours, Good Bye Avengers and thank you for your service” before Steve and others could react they were all tranquilized knocking them out cold and only waking up in a glass cell with Ross smirking at them as they sat there in silence thinking the things that they have done for you.

“welcome to your new life Avengers…in prison!” and a loud laugh erupted from Ross as he walked out as ex-heroes gazes followed his exit.

You're undercover on a mission with the team, and Mobius' affinity for cowboy culture is making things unexpectedly difficult.

Series Summary: Pre-Loki series. You are one of the most dangerous variants the TVA has ever recovered, but Mobius knows what makes you tick. Five times he made you shudder, and the one time you returned the favor.

The next time it happened, it was 1881, and you looked ridiculous.

Your clothes were too tight and the leather smelled like the cattle you were wearing was still alive. You didn’t get to pick your uniform for this mission, and since you were supposed to be deep undercover in an active timeline scenario where reset charges were not permitted, wearing a TVA-issued “Variant” jacket wasn’t going to work.

So now here you were, sweating your ass off in what would one-day become the Las Vegas desert, with your partner wearing a giant 10 gallon hat holding a revolver to your back. He definitely looked ridiculous, and you let him know that. But to be fair, it was almost... cute. Sort of.

Variant T-3051 was the target, this stagecoach robbery at gunpoint was the trap, a Skrull artifact locked in a safe was the bait. And you were technically also bait, disguised as the hapless hostage.

Mobius laid it on extra thick for this one; you were pretty sure he was enjoying himself.

“Easy does it, fellas,” he said in a honeyed voice. “Everyone move nice and slow.” With one hand on your shoulder and one hand on the gun trained on your back, he urged you forward with a gentle double-squeeze near your collarbone. It was a little secret communication between you two. “Keep your hands up where I can see ‘em, sweet thing.”

You struggled not to overtly roll your eyes as you lifted your hands slightly higher. You were 99% sure that Mobius had never held a revolver in his life and probably didn’t know how to fire one. The man’s idea of excitement is debating top historical time periods at lunch with you or fantasizing about jet skis. Or whatever he fantasizes about.

You glanced at the team around you, a mix of Minutemen led by B-15 - on a giant ass horse holding a rifle steady with only her eyes visible behind a black bandana, and a band of outlaw civilians who were T-minus 9 minutes from their destined massacre. The mission, simply, was that one of these people was not like the others.

U-91, also dressed as a Frontierland cast member, barked an order to hand over the chest or else. While he was monologuing on about whatever “else” was, you were scanning the group carefully waiting for the Skrull variant to reveal himself. Or you were, until—

“Hey,” you heard Mobius softly whisper behind you. You glanced to the side without turning around as he leaned closer to you. “Nice work infiltrating the gang.”

You could feel the heat of his breath on the side of your neck, and your stomach was doing something odd because of it.

“Okay,” you whispered back, trying not to move your lips. “Now is an inappropriate time to—”

“Where did you learn to ride a horse like that?” he exclaimed under his breath. “That was incredible.”

You weren’t sure if it was the anxiety of the situation, the harsh sun off the surrounding mountain range, or his praise that was making your skin flush.

“Um,” you softly replied, taken aback that he was actually impressed, “I mean- my aunt used to have this pony ride business. They’d do birthday parties—”

U-91 snapped at you, the talkative hostage, “Hey! I said shut up!”

Mobius reared back his grip on your shoulder and suddenly you crashed back into his chest. You cried out as he wrapped his arms like a vise around you.

“That’s right, I said shut your trap!” he hissed at you, playing to the audience around him.

It wasn’t often that he got to play the bad guy, but he gave it a valiant effort. You could feel the (hopefully) unloaded barrel against your back. He brought his other hand up to your throat, firmly squeezing, pulling a gasp from you.

He leaned into your body, pulling you tightly against him, as he dripped sugar-coated poison in your ear. “Not another peep outta you, ya hear?”

The first thought that sprang through your head was remembering your kink for authoritative bad boys.

Uh-oh, was the second, third, and fourth thought in your mind.

Your core was tight and you realized how heavily you were breathing when his grip loosened slightly from your throat, slipping down just a tad. You felt the warmth of his hand and resting on the skin of your chest. B-15 was already giving orders, but your brain wasn’t following the conversation anymore.

“Are you okay?” Mobius breathed in your ear. “I didn’t hurt you, did I?”

You slowly exhaled the heat of your breath, shaking your head ‘no’ and ‘yes’ for some reason. You could feel your pulse thrumming in your neck and you knew he could feel it too.

“Did I scare you?” he asked, inquisitively. You could hear the edge of a grin in his voice.

Your brow furrowed. “What?”

“Did I scare you just now?” Your eyes darted back to the group of outlaws as B-15 began to round them up. You were definitely supposed to be paying attention to the mission, but all you could think about was how heavy his hand was on your chest. He could curl you into himself if he wanted to.

If he wanted to, and if you wanted him to, he could keep playing cowboy outlaws. He could steal you away from your bed in the middle of the night. Or maybe he could turn you in for a bounty and visit you while you’re locked in a jail cell, making you do favors for him in exchange for freedom…

Uh-oh.

He leaned in a little closer. You could feel the shadow of his lips at the nape of your neck. “I felt you shudder just now... Did you get scared?”

“No!” You replied, almost too loudly.

“Oh. Are you cold?”

“What? Why?”

“I mean, if you’re trembling and it’s not because you’re cold, and it’s not because you’re frightened, there must be some kind of reason, right?”

Your face was burning. You’re pretty sure it’s the sun. Heat stroke. You’re dying, probably, definitely, maybe.

You gritted your teeth. “Why. Are. We. Talking about this?!”

“It’s not me, is it?” he replied coolly, like taking a sip of bourbon and lemonade on a hot day. You could hear the smirk on his lips. “You’re not intimidated by me, are you?” His cast his eyes over your rosy cheek with a satisfied gaze. “Maybe I make you a little... nervous?”

“WHA’THUH HELL—?” A terrified twang rang out and you both were snatched out of the clouds. You looked up to see a green-faced cowboy, cow-Skrull? Skrull-boy? - hostile variant reach into the the side holster of one of his outlaw posse. As soon as the Skrull had his hands on his “partner’s” weapon, he shot his partner through the back, killing him (just a few minutes before his time).

Variant T-3051 was fast. As B-15 fired her rifle, he was already pulling another stunned outlaw in front of him as a shield. T-3051 raised his gun towards B-15 and fired towards her horse. The animal raised up on its hind legs, bucking her off.

“Take cover!” Mobius ordered, pulling you down with him, but there wasn’t much around.

T-3051 fired a shot blindly, striking U-91 in the arm. He dropped to the ground and crawled in a one-arm dash for cover.

In the chaotic confusion and fear, the other outlaws drew their weapons and began to fire on the TVA team and each other.

The horse that B-15 was riding began to trot off, trampling a fleeing outlaw. B-15 struggled to grab her weapon off of the ground, but T-3051’s boot dropped down on the rifle, pinning it beneath his foot. She looked up to see the barrel of T-3051’s gun pointed at her, sights trained.

You had already grabbed the single-action revolver out of Mobius’ hand. He reached for you, but you leapt out of hiding with his gun raised high.

You shot the gun out of the variant’s hand before he could fire. Stunned, T-3051 dropped backwards onto the ground as the other handful of living outlaws turned their attention towards you. With one hand rapidly pulling back the hammer as the other hand steadied your aim and squeezed the trigger, you knocked them down like bowling pins.

A few shots later and it was over. T-3051 attempted to crawl towards the stagecoach, but B-15 leapt on his back and collared him. With a push of the button, he was frozen in time.

“Target acquired,” she stated into a radio, winded from the skirmish.

Mobius jogged towards U-91 as he pulled himself to his feet. He deftly inspected the Minuteman’s injury. “U-91 is injured,” he reported into his own communications device. “Alert the infirmary. B-15?”

“All clear,” she nodded.

Mobius’ eyes searched the area frantically until they rested on you. You walked up to the safe as B-15 retrieved the alien artifact - a twisty, metallic, (oddly) phallic-shaped thing.

You snorted. “This is the bomb that could rip a planet in half?” you asked incredulously.

If you didn’t know any better, you thought you saw the tiniest smile on B-15’s lips. She radioed in, “Artifact is secure.”

Grinning with an amused chuckle, you glanced over and spotted Mobius gazing at you proudly, watching the sun rise and set in your smile. You felt your cheeks flush, dropping your eyes to the ground and biting your lip. God, this was bad. He could not look at you like that.

“Incredible,” you heard him breathe.

Unpopular opinion of the day

Reposting (with an update) this long answer i wrote in a discussion about what Xander adds to the show.

Strange view of life to think that people (even fictional characters) must be useful or they have no value and should be then written off. It’s an accusation that has often been thrown to the scoobies, usually by baddies (Spike did it a lot), to discourage them and kill their team spirit (”Buffy doesn’t need you”,”you’re just a burden”) but it has no moral ground and ultimately leads to a dead end. Everyone have been accused of being useless at one point: Buffy was forced in season 3 to defend her mission as a slayer against her own mother because she couldn’t eradicate vampires, only save few lives here and here.

Xander's years on Buffy's side as a member of the gang with Willow and the ones who loved and supported them is a story about friendship, loyalty, courage, family, forgiveness, not a performance or a competition in which he must prove himself or leave.

Just like Cordelia, who strangely isn't attacked with the same level of hate for being a bully and staying a bully, even after she joined the scoobies and started dating Xander (her mean comments that she justifies as form of “honesty”, except she’s only honest about “truths” that hurt, are as violent as Xander's sexism), Xander is just a scared kid, especially during seasons 1 to 3, who tries to do the right thing despite not having any special abilities, putting his life in danger in the process.

I get that not everyone is moved by the acting, but i personally think the actor brought a strong likeability and heart to the character, while the writing wasn’t helping him (just like Cordelia again).

But if people want evidences of his contributions to validate him as 3 dimensional person/fictional human being, here a list of his achievements that nobody can't deny:

In season 1: he followed Buffy in the tunnels to bring back Jesse, he stopped the Harvest with the gang, he was on the rescue team to free Willow from Moloch, he saved Giles life in The Puppet Show when the demon was very close to cut his head and take his brain, in Prophecy Girl: he went to Angel's appartment and forced the vampire to take him to the Master's lair to help Buffy, he performed CPR on her, saved her life. Thanks to him, she stopped The Master, killed him and avoided an apocalypse.

In season 2: he saved Giles, Willow, Cordelia, and Jenny from the Anointed One who was going to use them as a sacrifice in a revivification spell to bring back the Master, he saved Cordelia from a fire in Some Assembly Required, protected Willow from the Mummy, was used as a bait by Angel to try to kill Spike In School Hard, helped Buffy to stop the Bezoar in Bad Eggs while everyone else was mind controlled by the monster, saved Willow from Angelus when he took her hostage and threatened to kill her, rescued the children in Killed by Death, went undercover in Go Fish and saved Buffy’s life when she was trapped with the ancient swimmers of the school team turned monsters by their coach, he rescued Giles in Becoming.

In season 3: he’s less involved in the fights but managed to kill his faire share of vampires when Buffy was in LA, he tried with Oz to save Willow and Buffy from the fairy tale monster, prevented the destruction of the school in a massive explosion planned by zombies in the Zeppo, helped to stop the massacre planned by vamp Willow at the Bronze, tried to reach and help Faith when she went bad and it almost get him killed, bought for Cordelia her dream dress for The Prom , in Graduation he convinced Anya to share what she knew about the Ascension and lead the army of students in the final battle against the mayor.

In season 4: his speech to Buffy where he confessed she was his model, the hero he thinks about during difficult times was an essential part of Buffy’s decision to not give up College. He helped saved Oz when he was captured by The Initiative, and was part of the spell, the “Heart”, in the final battle against Adam.

In season 5-7: he took care a lot of Dawn and helped Buffy raised her in season 7, helped Giles build a training place for Buffy under the magic shop, their house with Anya was often a place to gather and hide for the Scoobies, he stopped Dark Willow when she tried to end the world, he lost an eye while fighting against the First.

He fed the team: brought comfort food during the long nights of the endless research, was tasked many times to get the essential ingredients for the spells at the magic shop, showed support and shared too many hugs to count them, with the girls when they needed a pep talk.

In Buffy’s words, he put his heart, soul and body (while having his own family issues and trauma that were never properly adressed) in his relationship with the gang and lost everything that he possessed when Sunnydale disappeared (Anya, his home), so yeah the sexism and jealousy are bad but even so he’s clearly underrated by the fandom.
