What actually makes us shift?

Nothing. Yup you heard that right. Literally nothing makes us shift. You don't even have to try to shift, to shift. People have shifted even when they didn't know about shifting. They have shifted even when they didn't believe in shifting. People have shifted regardless of what they see, think or feel. The question is how? You think, "When I'm trying so hard how can they all shift so easily?"

Because it's our nature. It's incorporated in our being. It's our existence. You can't try to be something you already are. I don't think you understand properly. Shifting for our brain is the same as breathing is for our body. It is the way things are. It's that easy. The only reason you think it's not is because you're conditioned to believe that way. The good thing is shifting doesn't require belief. It requires your existence. And you're existing aren't you? That's all you need.

Nothing else matters. Nothing else can ever stop you. Because even if you think you're not shifting to your DR, you're shifting to a reality where you haven't shifted to your DR (yet). Awareness is always shifting. Your awareness is always switching between realities. The question is, is your conscious mind able to realise that? That you're constantly shifting? Without your conditioned beliefs coming in the way? Can you?

The only thing you need to do is know. I say that quite a lot. And I don't mean that know that you'll shift. It doesn't even have to mean that know that you're in your DR (even tho you are). It's just the realisation that no matter what you think or feel, shifting is something you're always doing. You're always existing. No matter where.

That's all you need. Forget about being in your DR for a second. Forget about trying any method. Sit with yourself right now. Look around you. Feel your breathing. That's shifting. This is what shifting is. Not the symptoms, not a sudden change in the physical plane. Just breathing. Going from one breath to another. Changing awareness with your breaths. This is how easy it is.

Return to your core because that's all there is. From a moment to a moment. That's you. That's how you shift. Don't look at the physical plane as rigid or think why isn't it changing. Breath and know that change is not something you do but something you be.

So trust yourself. Trust that you can shift because really, that's what you've been doing all your life. Shifting is not something you discovered. Shifting is a realisation of already being. There is no shift greater than you and no method stronger than you. A creation cannot escape it's creator. Shifting is your birthright and it was always will be.

Now, stop holding on to something that is literally you. You're grasping shifting desparately, wanting and full of need. It's not going anywhere. It's you. It goes where you go. Does what you do. It's yours to hold, to cradle gently and experience. You're the root it grows from. As long as you're here, it'll grow and grow and grow. With you. For you. As far as you want. Shifting and you are the same being. One cannot exist without the other.

Realise, be and shift.

Shifting candle 🕯️♾️

*** This is not needed to shift realities, simply a tool guide for you to use if you’re interested.

I personally use this myself and thought I’d share how I go about it.

I occasionally light mine while making scripts, before/while meditating, before shifting, or to rejuvenate myself.

1/3. 🕯️

Use a purple, blue or white candle. Any size will do but if you like the idea of always having one ready to light, then thick piller candles are great and will last a long time.

They can be unscented or not. You could pick a scent that reminds you of your DR for the 5 senses aspect if that’s something that helps you.

** purple is associated with astral projection, spirituality, healing, meditation

** blue is associated with communication, sleep, wisdom, patience

** white is associated with purity, balance, truth, guidance, hope, spirituality and can replace other colours

2/3. 🫚

Anoint your candle in any type of oil, this is to stick the herbs and spices onto it but beware this makes it more flamable.

Or alternatively melt the top of your candle to stick it on.

If you're candle is in a glass you don't really need to worry about this step.

(And an affordable way of getting herbs is through tea bags!)

3/3. 🔥 ~ The Process:

Gather what you’re using and cleanse them by incense smoke, sound, etc.

As you’re dressing your candle, repeat over an affirmation that everything you’re utilising is being used for your desired effect. Examples:

“Orange peel to make me successful every attempt.”

“Rosemary to aid my memory and protect myself as I shift, sleep and dream.”

“Thyme to give me the courage to shift.”

“Parsley to rejuvenate my motivation.”

“Hibiscus to attract my desired reality to me.”

“Bay leaf to manifest myself successfully shifting.”

“Mugwort to aid in my astral travel and induce lucid dreams each night.”

🗡️📄 ** You can also carve sigils or runes into the wax to add to your intention. Or write your intention on some paper and burn it or keep it under the candle.

I planned to become an electrical engineer like my stepdad but then I decided to change my path to programming. I'm currently studying at technikum (<- wikipedia link so I don't have to explain the whole polish learning system), programmer major.

this year I have exams from web development (10th Jan - theory, 16th Jan - practical exams) and next year I have exams from App development (both mobile and desktop).

I know C family languages, Java, Python and those ones I am currently using. I also know a bit of Kotlin and I think I will continue learning it.

For web dev I know HTML and CSS ofc but also PHP and JS.

Planning on learning more languages I can use for App and operating system development as well as just to know them cause I want to after this year's exams!

As for electrical engineering I don't know much tbh but I would like to learn! I just used CAD programs for technical drawings (dad taught me some basic things when I was still thinking about going his path) helped my dad fix things on his Solar farm, houses of our neighbors and I made a few very simple circuits for fun a few years ago. Now I'm mostly focused on programming but since I learned most of the things I need for exams I have more time to do whatever I want now!

I'd like to get to know more people so I can share and mostly learn new things since even though I'm coding for years I consider myself a beginner and I am a total beginner when it comes to electrical engineering.

I'm willing to be friends or at least mutuals with anyone who codes or makes websites or is in STEM! no matter what your specialty/interest is exactly and no matter if you are a total beginner or a professional ^__^

I'd also like to have some mutuals who are into old web development and retro computing!!!!!!!!

how i feel coming on tumblr after my break with new downloads and information on how a shift isn't really 'instant', knowing is not the reason for a shift, staying in the present is not important and how discipline is not required:

skirk's story quest was absolutely CRAZY. hoyo really went all out with her, starting with the marketing to the execution of her story. and they really meant it when they said they'll try to "show, not tell". easily the best story quest in the game so far.

the training sequence was super cute! it's nice to see the traveler actually working to get stronger and honing their abilities. it also showed us (showed! not told! shocker!) just how good of a teacher skirk is, which. AGH. amazing.

i don't need to say i freaked out at the brief kaeya appearance, right? right. (why is he EVERYWHERE. what are you trying to say hoyo. mentioned in the archon quest, in the super hyped story quest, in the anecdote(s?? apparently he's in two?? i only saw one with him tho) i'm not used to getting this amount of content it's scary. anw back on topic—)

i must say i am THOROUGHLY enjoying the amount of info we're getting about surtalogi this patch. i honestly thought we'd be getting info on them way later on. first we got dain dropping this on us

and then the entire conversation with skofnungr... sure, surtalogi mentions and flashbacks were expected, but bits and pieces about his early backstory? not so much. but the most surprising part, to me, was that he actually offered to break skofnungr's curse of immortality bc that totally doesn't align with what we've learned of him so far. either he has SOME scraps and crumbs of morals after all, or skofnungr was really important to him. hm.

i am honestly very, very impressed by the cutscene and the MANY illustrations. seriously there were so many. maybe it's just been a while since i did a sq and it's a totally normal amound and i'm tweaking but. yk.
