I often find myself needing to be around other people studying or needing just another person around to keep myself accountable and on task. But that's not always possible...

Today a study livestream was recommended to me when I put on my study playlist. I clicked on it and it helped tremendously! There's just something about seeing another person do school work that helps me stay focused...

To do this, I...

Opened my study playlist

Had the live stream on another tab and muted it

I had only the livestream visible while I worked on my homework

The cool thing was that if I needed to work on another tab to do homework I totally could(I could still focus) because I knew I could simply click back over to the livestream and see someone across the world was doing their homework too! 🙂 At the same time as me! (Relatively)

Typing that out now I sound crazy but I hope this helps someone...

I just learned today that the kind of fungus that turns ants into “zombies” actually doesn’t affect their brains at all. Instead it releases chemicals that trigger the ant’s muscles to move to the desired location. So for as long as the ant is alive, it’s brain is it’s own. The infection in TLOU video game is based on this fungus, which means that realistically, the zombies, for the duration of their life, will have to watch, completely helpless to stop it, as their bodies are used to infect other human beings. there is a monegasque dialect/language separate from french. it is descended from ligurian, which was an italian dialect. it's rarely used these days but it is separate and distinct from french

oh this is interesting, ive never heard of it! tbh ive always kinda wondered how they incorporated the languages in monaco but for some reason never googled it or something... dummy move but ive always thought daghe was french even tho it kinda looks dutch? also nice to know they now teach it in schools cuz it was going into extinction, i think language preservation is so important
