Ok, so i haven't watched the original lion king and i really want to. I already kinda know the story.(not really, but kinda) . I'm uncertain about watching the old one because it would be stimulating to experience it for the first time in the theatre(the new one) than on my mobile screen. I am undecided. Thoughts??

To break or not to break

Under what conditions is it morally justified to break the law?

In what sort of cases would you endorse civil disobedience? In your answer, think about 1) how you would define the idea of an unjust or immoral law. Would you agree with St. Augustine that 'an unjust law is no law at all'? and 2) what cases (if any) would count in your view as legitimate uses of civil disobedience? For some examples, take a look at the Wikipedia article on civil disobedience.

In my opinion the time to break a law is when a law dehumanizes you for little to no reason. For example, I would like to have more freedom that someone who willingly committed a manslaughter crime, got convicted, sent to jail and released back into society.

 Laws such as the Jim Crow law and the Three fifth compromised were laws that were unreasonable and infringed upon the god given rights of people. I should be allowed to vote and given the right to make a social change in the society of which I reside in. If I am allowed to vote and it count as 3/5th of a vote, that is an infringement on my rights.

 In regards to the Jim Crow laws, there has been discussions claiming that they do not exist being that there are no laws in the constitution that suggest such behavior. Yet, the invisible chains of the Jim Crow laws exist to this day in the lives that it effects.If it does not effect someone personally, they have a tendency to write off or ignore the complaints of other.

 There are restriction I have in my life that my counter parts does not have to deal with. An unjust law is no law at all being that it favors one thing over another. Being that one half of the equation is not satisfied, it is not an equal law for all parties involved.I feel that civil disobedience is justified when it is an excessive infringement on the lives of those it governs.

 At this point, it is borderline harassment and detainment. In this case, it is extremely appropriate to practice your write to protest in peaceful disobedience in an attempt to negotiate your rights. It should not go to this point where you have to fight for your natural right, but as long as your life serves as a benefit in someone else’s life and they can use that to their advantage, they will try in ways to get just that.

 Whether obvious or oblivious, you have to pay attention to those who govern how you live your life because they might not always be working for your benefit.
