I need help paying for a tooth extraction 🦷
$30/200
paypal.me/AsterSpiral30
The back molar in the bottom left side of my mouth needs to be extracted.
My dentist had put on a cap to cover the tooth— and I mistakenly thought that it wasn’t as serious as time went on (from my last examination this spring).
I brushed regularly as usual, and the cap did help me.
However, the tooth started bothering me over the past four days when I eat and drink (particularly cold things like chilled water). I haven’t eaten anything sweet this week (The sugar makes me nervous).
I hope that I can get this tooth removed ASAP before it becomes far more painful.
Every little bit helps.
Please reblog.

Saphrin prefers to trance over sleeping, even though drow don't enter reverie like other elves. Not only does he see this as a far more practical option due to his military training, but 3 out of 5 times he actually sleeps (when he has to recover from an injury or when he's just very exhausted) he has nightmares, so that puts him off even more.
And not to be cliche on main, but...
Scene: Astarion and Saphrin going into trance, sitting next to each other. Like an hour later, Astarion feels something weighing on his shoulder, so he opens his eyes for a minute and it's actually Saphrin who fell asleep on him. Astarion lets Saphrin rest like this for a while, only moving him to the bedroll when it's almost sunrise. And so Saphrin has one of those "I don't remember going to sleep here. How did I get to my bed?" mornings. When Astarion tells him about last night, Saphrin becomes so unreasonably embarrassed by it, Astarion finds it kinda funny and adorable.
#work is taking all my mental strength out I can only think of my boys being soft#and yeah saphrin doesn't have nightmares when he sleeps next to astarion#I know it's toothache-inducing but I can't help it#baldur's gate 3#baldur's gate oc#proffbon oc saphrin#bg3 tav#astarion#tav x astarion#tavstarion

Urgent Dental Care When You Need It
Dental emergencies can strike at any time—whether it’s a sudden toothache, a broken crown, or a knocked-out tooth. When these situations arise, timely access to urgent dental care is critical not only for pain relief but also to prevent further complications.
What Is Urgent Dental Care?
Urgent dental care addresses problems that require immediate attention to relieve severe pain, stop ongoing tissue bleeding, or treat infections that can become serious if left untreated. Unlike routine check-ups or cleanings, urgent care focuses on managing dental issues that can’t wait for a scheduled appointment.
Common Dental Emergencies
Understanding what qualifies as a dental emergency can help you act quickly and appropriately. Here are some common examples:
· Severe toothache or sensitivity to temperature
· Chipped, cracked, or broken teeth
· Knocked-out tooth (especially within the first hour)
· Lost fillings or crowns
· Infections or abscesses, often accompanied by swelling and fever
· Bleeding gums or oral injuries that won’t stop
If you're experiencing any of the above, it's time to seek urgent dental care.
What to Expect During an Emergency Visit
When you visit an urgent dental clinic, the first priority is to assess and alleviate your discomfort. A dentist will evaluate the problem using a visual exam and possibly X-rays, then recommend treatment. This could involve anything from draining an abscess to placing a temporary filling or prescribing antibiotics for an infection.
In some cases, follow-up care will be needed for a permanent solution once the immediate problem is under control.
How to Handle a Dental Emergency Before You Get to the Clinic
Knowing what to do in those first moments of a dental emergency can make a big difference:
· Tooth knocked out? Gently rinse it, try to reinsert it in the socket, or keep it in milk and get to a dentist immediately.
· Broken tooth? Rinse your mouth with warm water and apply a cold compress to reduce swelling.
· Toothache? Rinse with warm salt water and use over-the-counter pain relievers if necessary.
Avoid using sharp objects or applying aspirin directly to the gums, as this can cause more harm.
Where to Find Urgent Dental Care
Many dental offices offer emergency slots or same-day appointments. If it’s after hours or during a holiday, check for 24/7 urgent dental clinics in your area. Some hospitals and urgent care centers also provide limited dental emergency services.
Don’t Delay Care
Ignoring dental problems can lead to more severe issues—both oral and systemic. If you're in pain or notice something unusual, trust your instincts and seek care right away. Prompt treatment can make all the difference in saving a tooth and protecting your health.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I hope everyone’s New Year is going better than mine! This post is just to let you all know I’m going to be AWOL for a few days to a week.
Woke up on New Years Day with blinding tooth pain (what a great way to start the year, right?). And today the pain was so intense I actually cried (and if you know me I have a pretty good tolerance for pain usually). The left side of my face is slightly swollen, my gums hurt so much, and I am petrified of the dentist so I really didn’t want to go but looks like I’m going tomorrow. I’m hoping they just pull it. The tooth is already half gone and hopefully it’s not infected.
I have quite a few simmie uploads to post (and I’m already behind) so I have scheduled them on Patreon over the next week or so, but I won’t get a chance to post them on here until this agonising pain goes away. Thought I’d just let you all know that’s why I’ll be absent for a while.
Wish me luck. I haven’t seen a dentist since I was a little kid so this is bound to be fun. Not.
