Love will tear us apart // The snow ball (prequel)
Tumblr media
Warnings: fluff, alcohol consumption
Pairing: Eddie Munson x fem!reader
*this is not a new chapter, just a flashback scene (set in s2)
series masterlist
-
Eddie doesn't know how he, out of all people got here but Mr Clarke, who was still one of the only teachers that he liked, approached him after school yesterday and asked if the school could borrow his music equipment for the snow ball since the school’s stereo equipment broke right before the ball.
Eddie was surprised that Mr Clarke even remembered him and his band in the first place and Eddie couldn't say no to one of his old teachers, one of the only ones who was always nice to him, despite his chaotic nature.
Now, Eddie didn't have to be here but there's no way that he would’ve let anyone else touch his equipment. Even if that means that he has to play horrible music all night and watch a bunch of middle schoolers have more luck in love than him.
He isn't the only high schooler in this place tonight, both Nancy Wheeler and Jonathan Byers are here. The smiles they share aren’t subtle in any way and Nancy even kissed him openly. His guess was correct, Steve and Nancy did break up. Now, he didn't care about either of them or their relationship but what he cares about is you. Does their break up mean, that you are with him now?
He doesn't try to dwell on it. The thought of you and him together, feels wrong.
He leans back in his chair, rolling his eyes at the next song time after time by Cindy Lauper came on and Eddie could just groan from annoyance. He looks around the room, eying the decorations and the smiling kids. He never went to the snow ball, back in middle school.
His eyes fall on, you? Eddie straightens his back, looking at you with wide eyes. You are standing next Nancy, laughing at something she said. You, look so beautiful.
Curls frame your pretty face, half of your is up in a bun. The color of your dress matching the new scrunchie in your hair. It must be new, you gave him yours a while back and he never gave it back to you.
Suddenly, this night isn't as boring as it was just a few minutes ago. A smile tugs at his lips as he watches you smile, waving at someone on the dance floor. You whisper something to Nancy before you walk off.
He watches you in curiosity, eyes following your frame. You stop in front of a group of kids, greeting them with a big smile. You reach your hand out to touch one of the boy’s hair after he presented it to you, proudly.
Something tugs at his heartstrings as he watches you walk towards the dance floor with Jonathan’s little brother, Will as the next song starts playing.
The little boy smiles happily as you begin to dance and Eddie can’t help but smile as well. His heart skips a beat as your smile widens. You are cute, so goddamn cute and Eddie knows, he's just gone.
“Hey.”
Startled, Eddie turns around and finds Jonathan standing there, looking at him with somewhat of a teasing smile on his face.
“Hey, man.” Eddie mumbles, trying to act cool. Like he hasn't been caught staring at you.
“Didn't think I’d see you here.” Jonathan says, sitting down on the free chair next to him.
Eddie and Jonathan weren't exactly friends but they did get along and would talk every now and then.
“Yeah well, I thought it’d be really cool to hang out with a bunch of kids.” Eddie shrugs.
Jonathan snorts “I think you’re having more fun watching y/n.” he says, pointing to you and Will.
“W-What?” Eddie exclaims with big eyes, feeling caught. His cheeks are flushed and he shakes his head at Jonathan’s words “I-I’m not watching her!”
“Sure.” Jonathan chuckles “and you also, totally don’t sit next to her in class after seeing Billy mess with her. You should've seen his face when you stole his seat.”
Eddie scoffs and again, shakes his head.
Jonathan is right. Eddie did steal Billy’s seat. After witnessing how uncomfortable he made you feel and after you told him that he would always sit down next to you to flirt, Eddie took it upon himself to.. protect you. In a way.
“Do you like her?” Jonathan asks.
Eddie furrows his brows at the question. He turns towards him for a moment, no trace of amusement left in his eyes, it’s just a genuine question. There also something else lingering in his eyes, knowing.
He turns his head and looks at you again. Does he like you? The answer is quite obvious, deep down. But is he ready to say it out loud? Is he ready to say ‘yeah, I like her, I have always liked her.’?
“Uh- does it matter?” he asks.
Jonathan scrunches his face up in confusion “does it matter? Of course it matters!”
“No it doesn't! She likes someone else!”
Jonathan looks at him with raised brows, he is your best friend, something Eddie doesn't seem to be aware of. He knows you don't like anyone else. You like Eddie.
“Someone else?”
“Yeah.” Eddie mumbles “saw her getting cozy with King Steve.” he says, rolling his eyes.
“What?” Jonathan laughs. He has never once heard you talk about Steve a non platonic way. You were just friends, he’s sure of that. Not something he is quite fond of, he never truly liked him, even after he has supposedly changed.
“Yeah. After the halloween party and countless times after that.”
Just a few days back, he saw the two of you on the school’s parking lot, sitting on the hood of his car, you were talking to him about something when he saw Steve leaning closer to you and you let him, you didn't move away, like he had hoped you would.
But, he didn't stay long enough to see you move away from Steve, he didn't see how you turned to look at Eddie.
“I know they’re just f-”
“Hey.” you interrupt Jonathan, avoiding Eddie’s eyes “Nancy’s looking for you.”
“Oh! Okay.” he mumbles, he turns towards Eddie and gives him a tight lipped smile “I’ll come back later.”
Eddie nods at his words and gives him a small smile before he looks back at you. You are still not looking at him and instead watch Jonathan leave.
You have avoided Eddie since the night at the halloween party. His rude behavior took you aback and you would be lying to yourself if you said that his words didn't hurt.
Without looking at him once, you go to leave but to your surprise he stops you, mumbling out a shy “hey.”
Crossing your arms over your chest, you turn towards him, looking at him with a confused expression “hi?”
Eddie shifts in his seat, uncomfortably. Suddenly not knowing what else to say as his eyes lock with yours.
“I-I see, you and Nancy made up?”
“We were never fighting?” you mumble.
So, he still believed that you were the reason for Nancy’s and Steve’s breakup. He still saw you as this, horrible person.
“Right.” he mumbles, awkwardly.
He knows you’re about to turn away and walk off. The look in your eyes represents nothing but annoyance, he gets it. The last time you actually talked, he was.. mean.
“Y-You uh, you look pretty.” he stammers with a blush on his cheeks.
With wide eyes and parted lips, you look at him in shock. Did he really just say that?
“T-Thank you.” you mumble.
His brown eyes hold something, something that you can’t read. Why, is he so hard to read sometimes?
“Do you wanna sit down?” he asks, pointing to the chair next to him.
“Uh.. sure.”
As if you would ever say no to him.
You sit down, laying your palms on your lap, you turn towards Eddie, who still stares at you. He angles his body towards you and leans his elbow on the table, when the song suddenly stops playing “oh, shit. Gotta change the tape, hold on.”
You watch him, rummage through his backpack, trying to find the right tape. He has a concentrated look on his face, tongue poking out between his lips as he eyes two tapes that he picked out. They have no cover on them and neither of them are titled “shit.” he mumbles “this better be the right one.” he chuckles, nervously.
He pulls the tape out and inserting the new one. He pushes the ‘play’ button and turns towards you again when suddenly Metallica’s Creeping Death starts blaring through the speakers.
You slap your hand over your mouth, a loud laugh escapes your lips at the horrified look in Eddie’s eyes.
“Oh shit! Oh fuck!” Eddie exclaims as he looks around the room. The kids all looking around in shock, some of them even holding their hands over their ears. One of the teachers gives him a disapproving look, motioning for him to turn off the music and you, you are looking at him with amusement in your eyes, still laughing.
As embarrassing as this is, at least he got you to laugh.
“Mr Munson! Eddie!” Mr Clarke comes rushing towards him “I’m sure you are enjoying this music but the kids aren't!” he says, pointing to the kids.
“Right, right. Sorry.” he rambles as he quickly turns off the music, changing the tape as quickly as he can, pressing play. This time, forever young by Alphaville starts playing and Eddie sighs in relief as he leans back in his chair, grinning at Mr Clarke, who gives him a thumbs up.
You are still giggling, the stressed look on Eddie’s face makes the situation even funnier.
Eddie turns towards you with both annoyance and amusement in his eyes “oh, you think this is funny huh?”
You nod, biting your lip to stop yourself from laughing “did you expect them to start headbanging?” you laugh, pointing to the kids.
Eddie shakes his head “they should've!” he exclaims, throwing his hands up “this stressed me out, I’ll never be the dj again.” he mumbles, reaching for something in his backpack, he looks around before pulling out a flask.
You gasp “you brought alcohol?”
“How else am I supposed to survive these depressing songs?”
“H-How are you gonna drive home?” you ask in concern as you watch him drink from the flask, quickly.
“Aw, are you worried about me, y/n?” he teases, smirking at you “you want some?” he asks, offering the flask to you.
You ignore his first question. Of course, you worry about him but he doesn't need to know.
You look into his eyes and without a word, you reach for the flask and look around to make sure that no one’s watching before drinking from the flask. Scrunching your face up at the taste of vodka, you give him back the flask.
He chuckles and takes it back. His fingers brush yours for a moment and he feels that unfamiliar feeling in his chest again. You look at each other for a moment. His brown eyes are burning into yours, his lashes fluttering as he looks down at your lips and then at your neck, eying the necklace around your neck.
Clearing your throat, you lean back in your seat and look away from him. Suddenly, feeling too flustered to keep your eyes on him.
Your cheeks feel hot and you can’t help but blush, still able to feel his eyes on you.
“Are you seriously gonna drive home after drinking?” you ask, still not looking at him.
“Not like I’m getting drunk.” Eddie mumbles.
“Still, you shouldn't do that.” you say, turning to look at him.
“What about you?”
You shrug “I’ll walk.”
“You'll walk? At night? That’s dangerous, y/n.”
You laugh at the expression on his face. If he just knew what kind of dangerous you’ve encountered already. You weren't even safe in your own bedroom when that thing came for you, so, you can't really run from danger.
“I like going on walks at night, it’s peaceful.”
“You shouldn't take walks at night, y/n, it’s not safe.”
“Aw, are you worried about me, Eddie?” you ask, mimicking him.
Eddie only scoffs, shaking his head at you. Without a reply, he only leans back in his seat. And suddenly it’s silent between the two of you. It's not an awkward silence, it’s actually a comfortable one but you find yourself missing his voice.
“T-The song is actually good.” you stammer, trying to fill the silence between the two fo you.
“Is it?” he asks.
“Yeah.” you nod “I also wanna be forever young.” you chuckle. You don’t what comes over you and why you feel the need to tell him this, out of all people but before you can stop yourself, you open your mouth and let those words fall from your lips “I- I always kinda thought that, I’d die young” you say as you turn back to him. Eddie, he watches you with furrowed brows, lips set in a frown.
“Why would you say that?” he asks, not trace of humor in his voice. It almost sounds as though he takes offense to your words.
You shrug, “just a feeling, I don't know.”
After the hell, you’ve been dragged into, it would just be a matter of time until something or someone would get you. The gate is closed, now. But there's this lingering feeling in your chest, that it isn't over and that it will never be over.
“Maybe, I'll make it to graduation at least.”
Eddie eyes you. He can see the broken look in your eyes, the sadness that you try to push back so desperately. Trying to keep it a secret from the world and from everyone around you but he can see it, he can see you.
“Sweetheart, you have a whole future ahead of you.” he says with a slight, soft smile on his lips.
“Oh, yeah?” you snort “what future do you see for me?”
Eddie tilts his head and stares at you, squinting his eyes. He’d want to say something like ‘you’ll get out of here, you’ll get to live your dream life- whatever that may be. You’ll meet your person and live a long and happy life’ but he is too bitter to even think of you with some, person. And he can’t be too open now can he? He can’t show you how much he may care for you when he knows that there's someone else lingering in the back of your mind. He can’t be vulnerable with you.
“Well, your parents are rich aren't they?” he mumbles, with distaste in his voice “means they'll send you off to some elite university and the moment you graduate, they’ll pressure you into marrying some rich dude, probably Harrington or some other business man douchebag from Hawkins. Then, he’s gonna pressure you into having babies but you’re not gonna want them because you’ll realize that you don't even love your husband- in reality, you’re in love with the mechanic that fixes your husband’s car, also the one you've been fucking behind his back.”
You blink, staring at him perplexed, he raises the flask to his lips after his rambling.
“Are you gonna be the mechanic?”
Eddie’s eyes widen, almost choking on the vodka. He pulls the flask away and stares at you with big eyes and parted lips “m-me?”
You chuckle and shrug as you reach for the flask, eying his ringed fingers “bet you're good with your hands.”
You can see the redness on his face, how flustered he’d gotten and, you love it. For the first time, it’s you, who left him speechless, not the other way around.
Keeping eye contact with him, you drink again before pushing the flask back into his hand. A smirk tugs at your lips “anyways, I gotta go.”
You get up, almost chuckling at the look on his face. You lean towards him one last time “I’d never marry the rich douchebag in the first place. I’d marry the mechanic.”
And with that you walk away, leaving a very stunned Eddie who’s eyes follow you.
“What the hell?”

Clark Kent x Amab Reader
cw. bottom! clark x dom! male reader
Tumblr media
Leaning against his car, hands gripping around the rolled down window behind him, Y/N had to swallow hard to prevent himself from drooling when Clark lifted the hem of his shirt to wipe sweat from his face, revealing his hard, flat abdomen. If the AI hadn’t taken Clark’s powers, then Y/N knew Clark would be alerted to his presence by how hard Y/N’s heart was beating.
As hard as farm chores were for Clark now, without his super strength, Y/N knew he should go over and offer to help, and soon he would, but for now he was enjoying the show too much to interrupt it. Even with the hard length of his cock pressing against the zipper of his dress pants.
So far, Clark didn’t seem to know Y/N was there, so Y/N was free to ogle to his heart’s content. Something he’d never allow himself to do so openly if he had an audience. Even if the only audience was the object of his lust.
When Clark bent over and picked up a bale of hay. It was a smorgasbord of delights - getting to see Clark’s ass in stark relief when he bent over, and then his biceps bulging with effort as he straightened with the heavy load in his hands.
Barely managing to restrain a giveaway moan, Y/N didn’t resist when his hand slid down his own abdomen and palmed his hard cock. He fought against closing his eyes, though, as he didn’t want to miss the sight of Clark continuing his farm chores.
Five minutes later, Clark looked like he was done. At least, there were no more bales of hay to be moved. Y/N licked his lips as Clark grabbed the hem of his shirt again, but this time took it all the way off. Y/N was glad the elder Kents weren’t home.
Even if they’d finally accepted his relationship with their son, they might backtrack if they saw the naked want Y/N knew was on his face right now. And, if they could read his mind, if they knew even a fraction of the things he wanted to try with Clark, Jonathan would probably go for his gun, and Martha wouldn’t stop him.
The thoughts only got more intense when Clark picked up the hose near his feet and flicked the switch on the pointed, copper nozzle. Water gushed out, and Clark held the nozzle over his head, shaking his hair under the spray, and sluicing a hand down his chest.
Knowing the water would cover any sound he made, Y/N didn’t bother to hold back a moan at the sight of Clark half naked and wet, strong hand sliding over his smooth skin, droplets of water clinging to his hair. When Clark bent over to run the water through his hair again, letting the excess drip to the ground, Y/N straightened up. He could no longer stand to just watch; he had to touch.
Before he got more than a step, however, Clark was shutting off the water, and loping for the barn. Y/N altered his direction slightly, and headed for the barn, too. With all the doors open, it wasn’t very dark, but the change in light did take a few seconds to adjust to.
When Y/N finally stepped through the doorway, it was to see Clark, still shirtless, standing on tiptoe and stretching high above the workbench to grab a bottle. Once he had it, he uncapped it, and poured some of the liquid onto the saddle in front of him, and then started to work it in with a rag.
Still not announcing his presence, Y/N watched the muscles of Clark’s back bunch and ripple with his motions. Drops of water were still clinging here and there, and Y/N no longer hesitated to move forward.
Sliding a hand around Clark’s abdomen, Y/N leaned in and licked at those stubborn droplets before Clark could even react. Clark started in his grasp, but leaned back as Y/N’s tongue touched his skin. “Y/N.”
Shivering at the breathlessness of Clark’s tone, Y/N didn’t answer. Instead, he moved on to the next droplet of water, and the next, sinking lower and lower, until he was on his knees behind Clark. Pulling hard on the waistband of Clark’s jeans, Y/N managed to pull them down another inch, so his tongue was gliding along the top of Clark’s ass, just dipping down in his crack.
Above him, Clark moaned and slammed his hands into the workbench, pushing his ass out against Y/N’s mouth. Smoothly getting to his feet, Y/N reached around Clark with his other hand, and started to undo the button of Clark’s pants. Only to have Clark capture his hands and turn in his grasp.
Before he could say anything, Clark was biting kisses into Y/N’s lips, and then licking at the sting. “Y/N, want you so bad. Please, Y/N. Please fuck me.”
Startled by the pleading in Clark’s voice already, it took Y/N a second to realize that Clark was trembling. Something he’d been doing for a while, Y/N suspected, only Y/N had been too preoccupied with Clark’s distracting body to realize it at first. “Jesus, Clark. What gotten you so worked up already? Making love to you is the plan, but I’ve just gotten started.”
The little cry of wanton despair that Clark let out had Y/N’s stomach clenching in sudden lust. “No! Not make love; I want you to fuck me! Please, Y/N. Over there.”
Looking in the direction Clark nodded in, Y/N saw hale bales stacked in roughly the size and shape of a double bed, with a thick blanket spread over them. He looked back at Clark with suspicion in his eyes. “Just how long did you know I was standing there, Clark? How long before I arrived did you know I was coming?”
The barked tone of his voice made Clark blanch, but he answered easily enough. “Sound travels far on a clear, windless Kansas day, Y/an, and you’re the only one in town with cars that sound expensive. Even without my super hearing, I knew you were coming at least five minutes before you got here.”
Y/N could feel his expression turn predatory, and judging from Clark’s small gasp, he could see it. Starting to move, Y/N half pushed, half herded Clark backwards towards the hay bales. “You want it that bad, Clark, then I can definitely oblige. I’ll fuck you so hard you’ll forget your name, your parents’ names, the names of your birth parents, and the name of your home planet. I’ll have you coming so hard you’ll black out.”
Loving the whimpers already coming from Clark, Y/N started to undo his own shirt and shrugged out of it. Clark shivered again, and stared at Y/N’s bare skin. The look on his face made Y/N harden more, even as he started on his pants. “If you want me to fuck you, then I suggest you get naked before me, or I’ll be forced to satisfy myself.”
That had Clark scrabbling at his clothes, and even without super speed, was completely nude before Y/N could even toe off his shoes. Putting a hand against Clark’s chest, feeling the trembling Clark couldn’t control, Y/N pushed hard enough to get him to sit.
Clark let out a cry as his ass hit the blanket, and Y/N dove in and swallowed it up. Clark’s reactions were ratcheting up Y/N’s own desire and lust, and he plundered Clark’s mouth, giving no quarter to Clark’s lesser experience.
Continuing to fuck his tongue into Clark’s mouth, Y/an reached down and grabbed Clark’s hard cock tightly. Clark arched back with a cry, separating his mouth from Y/N’s. “Fuck, Clark. Look at you. You’re ready to come already. You want to? You want to come; take the edge off?”
Clark’s answer was to plant his fists behind him, and use that as leverage to fuck his hips up into the tunnel Y/N’s fist provided. He snapped them up hard and fast, and Y/N grabbed his hair with his free hand, and dragged Clark’s mouth back to his.
The kiss was sloppy and uncoordinated, but Y/N didn’t care. He twisted his wrist at the same time that he plunged his tongue deep into Clark’s mouth. Keeping a firm grip on Clark’s hair, he prevented Clark from arching away, and Y/N suddenly felt Clark’s cock pulsing in his grip.
Yanking Clark’s head back, Y/N looked at him with blazing eyes. “Watch me, Clark.” Waiting until Clark’s eyes focused enough to see him, Y/N looked down. When Clark’s eyes followed his, Y/N wiped the come off his hand and onto his cock, coating himself with Clark’s spend.
Clark’s cock, which hadn’t completely softened, twitched and Clark let out a weak moan. In spite of his recent orgasm, his voice still sounded full of desire; it was if he hadn’t come at all. “Yes, Y/N. Do it. Fuck me. Please.”
Fighting for control, Y/N took a deep breath, and then looked Clark in the eyes. “I’m not going to be able to give you lots of time for prep, Clark, so I’m giving you a chance to--”
Y/N broke off when Clark sucked two of Lex’s fingers into his mouth, and swirled his tongue around them once before pulling them free. “I want this. I want to feel you filling me, fucking in to me hard and fast. Don’t make me wait any longer. Just fuck me.”
Eyes blackening with lust, Y/N pushed against Clark’s chest. “On your back. Hold your legs spread, in the air.”
With a cry of excited arousal, Clark did as he was told, and Y/N’s breath caught in his throat when he looked down at the splayed form of his lover. “Oh, you kinky bastard. Jesus Christ, Clark, are you trying to kill me?”
Reaching down between Clark’s splayed, upraised legs, Y/an grabbed the base of the vibrating dildo he could now clearly see protruding from Clark’s hole. He took a few moments to enjoy the stretched muscle clinging tightly to the toy.
Then, grabbing the protruding base, he pulled it all the way out, looking at it almost clinically. “It isn’t as thick around as I am. It won’t have stretched you enough.”
Even though it was a statement, Clark’s broken voice answered him. “I...I told you, I want to...oh, god...to feel you.”
A growl of want made it’s way out of Y/N’s throat at that, and he dialed the vibrations up higher and plunged the dildo all the way back in. Clark’s cry that time was much louder and more prolonged, and he arched up into it, his hips coming right off the blanket covered hay.
Unable to hold back, Y/N did it again and again, all but punching the toy back in every time he pulled it out. Y/N, who had always prided himself on keeping control while with a lover, could feel himself start to lose it as he watched Clark writhe and pant below him. Clark’s hard cock slapping his stomach, hands clenched into the blanket as he pushed up every time the dildo worked into him.
The only reason Y/N hadn’t come yet, was that he was totally caught up in watching Clark. Focused on giving him pleasure, on wringing every sound out of him possible. Y/N became mesmerized by the sight of the skin around the rim getting redder and puffier as he worked the dildo, of seeing the tip disappear back inside.
Y/N had no idea how long he’d been fucking Clark with it, when Clark suddenly grabbed his wrist. “Now, Y/N! Goddamnit, fuck me now!”
Clark’s voice sounded unbelievably wrecked, but the hoarse, desperate sound had its intended effect. It snapped Y/N back, and he threw the sex toy across the barn, and thrust himself inside. Clark’s shout of, “Yes!” merged while Y/N’s inarticulate shout of ecstasy as Clark’s tight heat closed around him.
Y/N didn’t stop until he was all the way in, and then only to wrap his arms around Clark’s thighs to drag him even closer. Locking eyes with Clark, Y/N changed tactics, and started to slide in and out slowly and gently.
Making a sound of frustration, Clark pushed his ass back against Y/N, trying to entice him to go faster. Y/N kept an iron grip on Clark’s thighs, however, so none of Clark’s efforts were successful. “Be still!”
Reaching down, Y/N ran a finger up and down Clark’s turgid length, rubbing over the crown and dipping into the slit. “Wearing a dildo all that time; I’m impressed, Clark. You would have had to keep yourself clenched tight around it constantly, so it wouldn’t slip out. Did you like knowing you were wearing it while I was watching it? Wearing it in public, knowing at any moment, someone could come along for a visit while you had it in. Did it thrill you, Clark?”
“Yes! I kept thinking about dropping my pants out there and playing with it. I imagined what would happen if you saw me do that, and I pictured an audience forming, all watching to see what I did to myself.”
The defiant tone in Clark’s voice was a little ruined by how wrecked and hoarse he sounded, but it didn’t ruin the effectiveness of what he was saying. “Jesus, Clark! You’re much kinkier than I gave you credit for. I love it.”
Sliding his hands around to the insides of Clark’s thighs, Y/N extended his thumbs and pressed them against the outer edges of Clark’s rim. Within a hair’s breath of touching himself as he moved in and out of Clark.
Then, he was touching himself, as he moved his thumbs further in. Y/N felt the slightly callused tips of his thumbs catch on the tight skin of Clark’s rim, and pulled very gently, at first. When all it did was start Clark thrashing on the blanket again, Y/N pulled harder.
Moving his thumbs just slightly, they pushed down past the rim a small amount, and Y/N had to take a deep breath to help control his reaction to the extra pressure along his erection. Clark didn’t bother to contain his reaction. “God, Y/N! Fuck! Please stop teasing me, and fuck me. Please!”
A dark chuckle worked its way out of Y/N’s mouth. “Those vibrations really did you in, didn’t they? I certainly understand your desperation better, now. More intense than you were expecting, wasn’t it?”
Clark’s only response was a sharp cry as one of Y/N’s thumbs slid all the way in. Using his free hand, Y/N manhandled Clark onto his side, the change in position enabling him to slot himself closer and slide in even deeper. It also allowed his thumb to more easily hit that spot inside of Clark.
Pressing his fingers against Clark’s perineum, and his thumb on the small nub inside, Y/N was able to stimulate Clark’s prostate from inside and out. Clark’s moans became almost continuous, and only ratcheted up in volume when Y/N increased the speed and force of his thrusts.
Putting one knee up on the bales, Y/N was able to lean over Clark and better see his face, and get even better leverage for fucking into Clark. “You have no idea what you made me want to do to you when I saw that toy inside of you, Clark. The ideas it put in my head.”
Y/N had to stop talking when he really looked down at Clark. Hips tilted, back arched, mouth open in ecstasy, arms thrown over his head. He was the picture of seductive abandon, and the sight made Y/N’s pleasure spike to critical levels.
Giving one last firm rub with his thumb and fingers, Y/N pulled his hand free, and wrapped it around Clark’s cock. Matching the movement of his hand with his hips, Y/N managed to sustain his rhythm for several more thrusts before his hips started stuttering. “Come with me, Clark! Come, now!”
Almost immediately, Clark’s cock started pulsing in Y/N’s grip. The feeling of Clark’s release, and the scent of his pleasure, triggered Y/N’s own. Thrusting deeply one more time, Y/N emptied himself into Clark’s body.
For an indeterminate amount of time, Y/N’s entire body shook and his cock pulsed, even after Clark went limp below him. Finally, Y/N collapsed over Clark, resting his forehead against Clark’s chest. He stayed like that for several minutes while he relearned how to breath, and his heart rate returned to more normal levels.
The expected embrace never came from Clark, and knowing how his lover enjoyed cuddling after sex, Y/N was surprised. Lifting his head, he reached out and cupped Clark’s cheek.
When he still got no response, Y/N stroked a thumb over Clark’s face. “Clark?” When that didn’t elicit reply, Y/N slid up so he could better see Clark’s face. What he discovered made him smile.
Clark was unconscious. Y/N smiled, quite satisfied. He always did try to keep his promises. Although, he had to admit, they weren’t usually as fun to keep as this one had been.

Extremely belated October 3rd thought:
What if they had a witness? Just some pedestrian, a shopkeeper, maybe a neighbor. Minding their own business when suddenly,
CRASH!
Some aristo in a black suit throws himself out of that big old house’s window. He pauses in the yard to shake his fist at the place.
"You think to baffle me, you—with your pale faces all in a row, like sheep in a butcher's. You shall be sorry yet, each one of you! You think you have left me without a place to rest; but I have more. My revenge is just begun! I spread it over centuries, and time is on my side. Your girls that you all love are mine already; and through them you and others shall yet be mine—my creatures, to do my bidding and to be my jackals when I want to feed—"
He seems to have a good monologue going until some guy with white hair, a face full of murder, and a giant knife in his teeth comes scuttling out of the window like the world’s biggest and most pissed off spider.
“Bah!” says Goth Aristo before sprinting away, locking the gate, and…turning into mist? Is that a bat in there?? What???
White-haired Knife Man is forlorn at not getting to do any stabbing and goes sadly back to his friends who have also come out of the building, likewise armed and covered in garlic flowers and crosses. There, there buddy, we’ll skin him next time :)
The witness decides they’re not touching any of that, thanks.
But the newspaper is right there...
Fast-forward to the future, post-novel, and our heroes finally have time to catch up on the latest news—
PARANORMAL PERIL IN PICCADILLY!
WITNESS REPORTS THE HARROWING BATTLE OF A BAT-MAN AND SPIDER-GHOUL IN OUR VERY STREETS!
(In true Clark Kent fashion, Jonathan the White-haired Prettyboy is never singled out. He is a different man in Murder Mode, and the default sweetheart solicitor couldn’t speak harshly to a plant let alone attempt to slaughter a vampire in the street, ha ha)
((Mina still keeps one copy pasted in her journal and another framed on the mantel.))

Chapter Nine: Sick Day (Laney's POV)
I lay in Eddie’s bed while he watched a movie for class. He sat on a bean bag chair, typing his paper on the other side of the screen. I remembered laying on my side, staring intently at him, fixed on his uncharacteristically serious expression. For a moment, I reached out to him like I would’ve reached out to Father after a long night at the hospital. Eddie looked up, smiling at me. “Want me to turn the lights down?” Eddie questioned. I shook my head despite feeling the onset of a migraine looming just behind my eyes. “You don’t look so good.”
“I’ll be alright once I get some sleep,” I replied. Eddie turned the lights down and returned to his assignment. My eyes drooped, and I fell asleep. I must’ve been asleep for less than two hours before I woke up from a nightmare, my head throbbing and the room spinning. I covered my mouth with my sweatshirt and threw up. Eddie jumped up from the floor. I think I startled him. I tried to get out of bed, but Eddie shook his head.
“Try to stay put. Are you okay?” Eddie asked as he grabbed his waist basket. I held my sweatshirt over the waist basket as he helped me pull it off from the back.
“Eddie, I’m so sorry. I’m so—.”
“Hey, it’s okay,” Eddie reassured me. I climbed out of his bed and attempted to help him strip the bed. “Relax… I’ve got it.”
I shut my eyes and lay still while he cleaned up. “I’m sorry,” I murmured. I pressed my palms to my eyelids and tried not to cry.
“Don’t upset yourself. I’m not mad. Lane, here, you can wear some of my clothes. Take a shower. We’ll watch a movie. Don’t cry… I’m a sympathetic crier. So, if you cry, I’ll cry… It’s super upsetting,” Eddie half-joked. He messed up my hair and bundled up his pajamas to give me. “And don’t you dare thank me.” I obeyed him, leaving to grab my underclothes and shower, and when I returned, Eddie changed his sheets and sat on the bed with his laptop.
“Eddie, I must be contagious—.”
“I don’t care. Come on, sit with me,” Eddie interrupted. I sat beside him and shut my eyes, listening to the movie on his laptop screen. “When I moved with Aunt Marla, I was ten years old. I practically grew up on movie sets… Did I ever tell you that?”
I opened one eye. “No. You didn’t. What was that like?” I asked.
“It was as fun as you’d imagine… I didn’t think about the circumstances that led to me being there until I got sick for the first time with Aunt Marla,” Eddie chuckled, “Aunt Marla worried so much, and she’d never admit it, but I ruined her weekend. She never made me feel bad for it, but it was obvious that she never planned to have children.”
“Do you want children?” I asked.
“I don’t know… Maybe,” Eddie replied.
“You’d be a good father,” I mumbled as I drifted. Eddie touched my forehead.
I didn’t flinch at the cold of his fingertips. “You don’t have to stay awake,” Eddie whispered, “I know you don’t feel good.” I nodded, breathing through my mouth as Eddie rubbed my back.
**
Rose returned from her weekend at her brother’s apartment, waking me from a seemingly endless slumber. “Rose, he’s sick… Try to keep it down—.”
“Wait, how long has he been asleep?” Rose questioned.
“Since one in the morning—.”
“It’s eight in the afternoon. Is Lane still breathing? Has his dad called him?” Rose questioned. I watched as she looked around the room for my phone, and I murmured something, but my throat was too sore to speak. I waved. “Good, I thought Eddie killed you—.”
“Hey, I’ve been taking care of him all day… Like a good roommate,” Eddie replied, “How are you feeling?” I tapped my throat.
“Do you want your phone?” Rose asked. I nodded.
“In my room,” I rasped. Rose left me with Eddie.
“Laney, I made some soup… Do you think you could eat?” Eddie asked. I sat up, clutching my head as I nodded. “Drink some water first.” He gave me my gym bottle, and I took small sips as I stared at him. I started to throw the blankets off, and Eddie stopped me. “You were too warm for pants.” He pointed to the pants he gave me, neatly folded on the chair.
Eddie looked dogged, and I couldn’t help but think it was my fault. “I’d like to put some pants on now…”
“I’ll stall Rose for a minute,” Eddie whispered as he left me alone and shut the door. I pulled my pants on and struggled through my dizzy spell to get to the bathroom. I sat down, too dizzy to stay on my feet, and I started to nod off.
“Laney, where are you?” Rose asked.
“I’ll be right out,” I replied. I washed my hands and dragged myself to Eddie’s room. I plopped on Eddie’s bed, and Rose gave me my phone. Father called six times. “Oh, no…”
“What’s wrong?” Rose asked. “Father’s worried,” I rasped. He answered on the first ring.
“Lane, where have you been? I’ve been calling you all day,” Father chastised me.
“I was asleep. I’m not feeling well,” I explained.
Father sighed. He wasn’t exasperated. It wasn’t his way. “Are you alright? Do you need me?” Father asked.
“I’m still sick, but my friends are taking great care of me… Thank you for offering,” I whispered.
“Of course. I love you, Lane. Text me when your fever breaks,” Father replied.
“Yes, sir. I love you too,” I rasped, “Goodbye.”
“Goodbye,” Father answered before hanging up. Rose stared at me with concern drawn on her face with her brows.
“Is it okay?” Rose questioned. I nodded, attempting to clear my throat.
“He asked me to text him when my fever breaks,” I mumbled, pressing my water bottle to my forehead. Rose touched my face with cold hands, and I shut my eyes. “Thank you.”
“No problem… You don’t get sick often. Do you?” Rose asked.
“I was born sick… It wasn’t until I was five or six that Father found a treatment that worked. I’ve lived in relative isolation most of my life, so I imagine my immune system isn’t as strong as most people’s,” I answered. Rose flipped her hands, letting her cold knuckles touch my forehead.
“You should be more careful… Had we known you were so—.”
“Please don’t say fragile, Rose,” I interrupted, “I’ve been ill, but I’ve never been fragile.” Rose nodded, and Eddie returned with a bowl of soup. He draped a shirt over my lap and placed the bowl on it.
“Be careful… It’s hot,” Eddie whispered. Rose glanced at me, and we giggled in reply. “What?”
“I told Rose I wasn’t fragile seconds before… Thank you,” I whispered. Eddie nodded.
Rose messed up Eddie’s hair. “I’m gonna make us a bowl, Eddie. Lane, try not to be too difficult,” Rose teased. I smiled and nodded.
“Does your dad worry a lot?” Eddie asked.
I nodded. “Not without cause… I was born sick, but Father always worried about the threat of a relapse—.”
“How sick were you?” Eddie interrupted.
“It doesn’t matter… I’m much better. I’ll let you know if there is something to worry about. I promise,” I answered. I didn’t want anyone to worry anymore. It made me feel like a burden.

Ooo how would Aunt Donna react to meeting the Kents and Gar's boyfriend?
I feel like Donna would already know Clark just because Wonder Woman knows Superman and that she probably met a younger Clark when he used to work with Bruce since she hung around Dick (it's crazy to me that Clark is closer in age to Dick and Donna than Bruce) but didn't have that strong of a connection with him as Dick did. Then after Bruce and Clark had their fallout, she definitely didn't see Clark as much as she used to.
But I do fully believe both Donna and Dick attended Clark and Lois' wedding.
I see Donna as a lone wolf type who mainly sticks to herself unless she's close to the person, much like Dick. She didn't keep in touch with Clark like she did with Dick, Kory, and Dawn. So she has no idea Jonathan and Jordan exist.
Until she's in San Francisco for a showing and visits Titans Tower to see Dick and Kory (and the kids, of course). Kory greets her first, they catch up a little bit, then Rachel comes out to greet her and calls for Gar, telling him aunt Donna is here. To Donna's confusion Gar advances from the hall alongside another teenager with curly blonde hair. Her first thought after hugging Gar is to turn to Kory and ask "Did Dick adopt another kid??" and Kory just laughs, "No, that's Jonathan. He's Gar's boyfriend."
And Jonathan freaks out when Gar introduces him to Donna as "Superman's son" but Donna quickly reassures him that she's related to Wonder Woman and isn't gonna tell anyone he's the Boy of Steel. So it's all good. Though she is kind of surprised when she learns Jon is taking up the role of Superboy.
Donna absolutely teases Dick about Gar dating someone since she knows Dick isn't fond of the idea of his kids dating, but also tells Dick to lighten up when he gets all grumpy about it and is like "I'm pretty sure Gar couldn't get anyone better than the son of Superman. Stop being a stubborn asshole and be happy for your son."
I also can imagine she smirks and raises an eyebrow at the fact both Dick and Gar have heart eyes for super powerful aliens with fire abilities. Like father, like son.
Since she was at Clark and Lois' wedding, you better believe she was at Jon and Gar's. She and Kory had to make sure Dick didn't cry the whole time and refuse to let Gar go.
and just like she did with Dick, she's gonna tell embarrassing stories about Gar to his son, Paxton. (She can't embarrass Jon but Jordan sure can so he'll leave that to him)
--
you're more of a Donna person than me, Kit. Hope I did your girl justice lol

Chapter Twelve - Chemicals in the Flayed
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Summary: With the days leading up to the fall, Aria had hoped to spend her last summer after high school with her friends before she went off to college. She didn’t expect to deal with the monsters she and her friends supposedly defeated months ago once again, nor did she think she had to deal with heartbreak in the process.
Pairing: Steve Harrington x Original Female Character
Warnings: This story contains mature themes such as sexual content, strong language, violence, mentions of alcohol and drugs, blood, gore, and death.
Note: I imagine Aria Kaul as South Asian but I have decided to let you, the reader, imagine her appearance, hence the reason why I have not given her a face claim. However, her race does not affect the story, whatsoever. You, as the reader, are free to imagine her however you want. If you don’t see her as South Asian, then that’s fine. It won’t affect the storyline.

Aria, Nancy, and Jonathan were in front of the kids, ringing the doorbell several times. However, no one answered so they looked back at Eleven, waiting for her to do her magic.
She opened the door with her mind, the group walking inside. The house was freezing and they were instantly hit with a strange smell. “Do you guys smell that?” Aria asked.
They walked into the kitchen and saw all of the cleaning supplies on the counter, the smell becoming much stronger. “More chemicals.” Nancy stated.
The young adults walked closer to it, examining the contents. “You think they're guzzling this shit?” Jonathan asked the other two.
“Yeah, either that or they just went on a hell of a cleaning spree.” Nancy answered.
“But last year, Will didn't eat chemicals.” Max said. “Did you?”
“No.” Will shook his head. “This is something new.”
Mike spoke up. “Mr. Clarke, fifth grade. Posit. What happens when you mix chemicals together?”
“You create a new substance.” Lucas and Will said in unison.
“What if they're making something?” Said Mike.
“In themselves?” Max asked, thinking that it was a little absurd. “I mean, come on, if you drink this crap, it'll kill you.”
Lucas shrugged. “Yeah, if you're human.”
Aria and Nancy met eyes, before both of them noticed the dining room. The two girls started walking towards the room, the others following behind. They then walked over to the living room to see a wine bottle and blood on the carpet.
“Blood.” Nancy mumbled, crouching down. “Yesterday, Tom had a bandage on his forehead.” She picked up the wine bottle, standing up again. “He was attacked.”
Their eyes followed the carpet that was dragged towards another door. They opened it to see the garage. They walked inside and saw ropes. “They must have tied them.” Jonathan said, touching the ropes.
“They must have taken them somewhere.” Aria said, her gaze meeting Nancy.
“Mrs. Driscoll.” Nancy spoke up. “She kept saying…’I have to go back’” She crossed her arms. “What if the flaying, it's taking place somewhere else?” For some reason, she looked at Aria, hoping she’d agree with her.
Aria ran a hand through her hair. “Well…there must be a place where all this started, right?” Nancy nodded her head. “A source.”
“Somewhere he didn't want me to see.” Eleven admitted.
“If we can find the source, then maybe we can stop him.” Said Nancy.
“I agree,” said Aria, looking at Nancy. “Or at least stop it from spreading.”
“How do we find it?” Eleven asked, knitting her eyebrows.
“Mrs. Driscoll.” Will spoke up. “If she wants to go back so badly, why don't we let her?”
The kids and Jonathan looked at both Aria and Nancy, who were both looking at each other. They nodded their heads, knowing exactly what they needed to do.
They arrived at the hospital and Aria saw Lana on the phone. They tried to walk past her but she unfortunately noticed them, stopping them from going any further. “Woah, woah, woah! Excuse me! Where do you think you're going?” Exclaimed Lana, looking at Nancy.
“Oh, um…” Nancy stammered, trying to think of something to say. “I was just going to visit my grandma again. And... And this...this is my family.” She glanced at Lucas.
“Extended.” He shrugged.
“I don't care who they are!” Lana said. “You know the rules. Two visitors at a time—“ Her eyes fell on Aria and she furrowed her eyebrows. “Aria? What are you doing here? Your mother hasn’t come in for a few days.”
Aria tried to think of something, quickly. “Um, she’s been sick these past few days so she asked me to grab something from her office.” She told her, making sure not to stutter while lying.
Lana narrowed her eyes before sitting back down. “Alright…” She pointed her finger at Nancy. “Two!”
The kids sighed in frustration, walking over to the waiting room. Aria, Nancy, and Jonathan quickly walked over to the elevator, getting in.
Aria stood behind Nancy and Jonathan, overhearing their conversation with each other. “You know, those things that I said yesterday, I...I didn't mean them.” Nancy admitted.
“I know.” Jonathan answered.
“I don't think you're like those assholes.” Nancy reassured him. “At all. I never have. I...I was just…”
“Angry?” Jonathan answered for her. “Which I still don't get. I mean, I was just completely, utterly, mortifyingly…wrong.” The two looked at each other, smiling. “Don't let that go to your head.”
“I won't.” Nancy smirked. “I just look forward to you never doubting me again.”
It was as if the two of them forgot Aria was even there. She leaned against the wall, arms crossed and looked between them, eyes moving back and forth. She had an eyebrow raised, a smirk on her face before she wiped it off. “Please, shut up.”
The two suddenly remembered she was in the elevator with them and looked over their shoulders, noticing a grimace on Aria’s face.
The elevator door finally opened and they walked out, making their way to Mrs. Driscoll’s room. As they were on their way, they noticed a fallen clipboard with pieces of paper on the floor. They thought nothing of it and walked past, reaching the room.
Nancy pushed open the door and the three of them were met with no one inside. “Where is she?” Aria asked, walking over to the bed.
“Are you sure this is the right room?” Jonathan questioned Nancy, a little skeptical as to why the old woman wasn’t in her room.
“Yes,” Nancy said, but then the lights started flickering. Aria’s intuition started telling her that something was wrong, again.
“Something’s wrong…” Aria told them, the two in return looking at her with worry.
“She's gone home.” A voice spoke, startling them. They turned around to see Tom Holloway at the door. “We were hoping you might come back.”
They noticed blood on his hands and shirt as he started to enter the room, getting closer to them. “Whose blood is that?” Jonathan asked. He pushed both Aria and Nancy behind him, putting himself in front.
“Tom, whatever you've done, it's not you.” Nancy said to him. “He's making you do this.”
Tom wouldn’t stop walking, getting much too close to them. Jonathan’s eyes laid on a vase, picking it up as a last resort and smashing it against his head, throwing him against the wall. Jonathan grabbed Nancy’s hand while Nancy grabbed Aria’s hand, the three of them running out of the room.
They ran out but then were met with two more men, one of them being from Nancy and Jonathan’s work and the other being Oliver, the man who irked Aria in terrible ways.
“Owie.” The blond one, Bruce, said, touching his head in the spot where Jonathan just hit Tom.
They ran the other way, towards the stairs. Jonathan closed the door behind them and they started running down, getting as far away from the flayed as possible.
They opened another door and ran through the halls, noticing dead people and blood as they ran. The lights were flickering everywhere and they made a few turns, trying to hide from the flayed.
They ran through another door, Jonathan pressing a button to get anyone’s help. Aria turned around and saw a room with a telephone, ushering them to follow her.
They locked the door and Aria quickly picked up the phone, calling Lana. But, the line was busy, no one answering the phone on the other end. “Come on, pick up!” She shouted, as a hand smashed the glass window of the door.
They gasped, turning around. Aria dropped the phone out of her hands as Bruce put his hand through the window, unlocking the lock. He pushed the door open and laughed, walking towards them. “I’m here for you, Nancy Drew.”
Jonathan tried to punch him but Bruce was quick, grabbing him by his throat. Nancy screamed and tried to attack him but the man hit Nancy hard, throwing her backwards.
He was still choking Jonathan and Aria had no choice but to attack, punching him in the face and then throwing a kick to his stomach, throwing him to the ground. He dropped Jonathan in the process but then got back up, grabbing a stool and hitting him in the spine.
“Jonathan!” Nancy screamed and Bruce brought the stool back up in the air, ready to hit Jonathan once again. However, Aria quickly kicked him in the chest, the force throwing him backwards into the wall. He tried to get back up but Nancy stuck a pair of scissors into his back, causing him to yell in pain before slowly getting back up again.
Jonathan yelled at both the girls to run and the two obliged. They ran out of the room, Nancy in the room across from the one they were just in while Aria ran a few rooms down, past another corridor.
Aria closed the door, facing it, and locked it. She was breathing heavily, trying to gasp for air. Once she finally calmed down, she stood up straight. “I guess we’re alone now.” She spoke, raising an eyebrow.
She turned around, her gaze falling on the flayed Oliver in the middle of the room. She heard him laugh. “Oh, we should’ve done this a long time ago.” He said with an evil smirk. She grimaced, walking closer to him.
Her hand reached the back of her pants waistband, pulling out a knife. Her lips started to form a smirk, watching as the man stood still. “You really need to learn when to stop.” She said, tilting her head.
He chuckled. “Where’s the fun in that?”
She was now a few inches away from him, close enough to attack. She watched him carefully, waiting for any impact or for him to grab her. Suddenly, an invisible force attacked the man’s face, pushing him backwards. This startled Aria a little bit but she realized that it was probably either Nancy or Jonathan.
“You’re right,” she breathed out. She pulled out the knife and stuck it into his head, blood spurting out. “This was fun.”
He dropped to the ground and Aria let out a deep breath. The lights were flickering again and Aria watched as Oliver turned into blood and goo, making Aria gag on the inside.
“What the…” Aria mumbled, watching as it started to move towards the door. Aria followed it, exiting the room. She watched the mixture of blood and goo move towards the middle of the hallway, her eyes meeting both Nancy and Jonathan at the other end.
Aria’s intuition started telling her to run but she stayed put, watching as the mixture from both ends met in the middle, turning into something bigger.
The lights turned off, the entire hallway in complete darkness. Then, the lights turned back on again and there, facing her, was the mind flayer, roaring.
It was facing her, roaring.
It was facing her.
It was facing her.
Oh.
That’s why she was supposed to run.

Lex Luthor (Smallville) AU - Chapter 5
Tumblr media
There was not much Jonathan could do after you revealed your secret. So he told himself to keep an eye on Lex. Especially since this one was different from what they were used to. Lex had been spending a lot of time at the barn, much to Jonathan’s dismay. He still didn’t buy the amnesia bit. But he knew there was very little he could do to stop you from helping him.
Lex leaned at the side as you continued to stack the hay. You moved almost effortlessly. He had to remind himself that you weren’t any normal farm hand. Sporting a baggy blue plaid shirt and a pair of jeans, Lex just studied.
“So far what I’ve gathered is that nothing has changed.”
Lex covered every base of knowledge he could on Smallville. All the events that took place in his reality were perfectly reflected here. Earl’s attack on the plant. His father shutting down said plant. All the things in between. Nothing was different except for the clear gender swap. Lex had even enlisted your help. Since you were so forthcoming with all your secrets, he didn’t see the point in hiding any of his. In this place, it felt useless to have them. You had insisted that you would help him figure it out.
“You’re saying you remember everything, it’s just that a few pieces are swapped.”
“Exactly.”
“Hmm.”
You stopped for a second, brushing your hair out of your face.
“But in your memories, I’m a guy?”
“Yes.”
You just laughed.
“That’s crazy. I’m a girl.” You smiled at him, and Lex could literally see the comparison. You had the exact same smile too.
“You have no idea how crazy this is for me.” Lex said, looking down at his hands.
Somehow he thought maybe he was still in a coma, and his body was nearing the point of death. If he would indeed die, he supposed this wasn’t a bad place to be. You spotted the worried look, and you placed the tool down.
“Lex, no matter what happens. I promise I’ll do everything I can to protect you.”
There’s that earnest Kent look. He forgot how many times he’d seen it. It never got old. Looking at you so concerned for his well being was touching. He always had to remind himself to look over his shoulder in the past. That not everyone liked his name, that legacy. But here with you, any version of a Kent, there was always that need to protect. To help. Another quality he admired greatly.
“Every version of you has a hero complex.”
“I-I don’t have a hero complex!” You got defensive, and Lex laughed internally.
“It’s my turn to probe you. Aside from crazy speed and strength, what else are you packing?” The question caused you to shift.
“You really don’t remember huh.”
It was a soft musing to yourself. He caught the brief look of guilt again. Whenever you thought of his accident, it would rush to the surface. Before Lex could even say anything, you planted a smile on your face. He knew it was a defense. You didn’t want him to worry, and he didn’t want you feeling guilty every time he brought up this situation.
“I have x-ray vision, super hearing, and heat vision.”
Lex thought you were maybe pulling his leg. But the way you fidgeted, he realized that was far from it. You turned, almost like you were shielding your body, your heart from any scared reaction you thought he would give.
“It’s a lot. My father..my biological father used to say that earth’s sun is what gave me my powers. Somehow on earth, all my senses are enhanced. Any other kid would probably be ecstatic. But remember the first time they came. My first run happened when I was just a little girl. Only six…”
Lex took it all in. Every detail. Because with every part he learned, the more he felt like a terrible friend. He spent so long looking into Clark. Trying to uncover the truth behind his back. But it was clear why the Kents were always so cautious. So distrusting of him.
You swallowed, looking down at your feet.
“My mom told me nothing was wrong with me. I was just special. Her special kid. But deep down..it was frightening. There are times where I wake up and wish that I was never born, that I had never come to Smallville.”
“Don’t say that!”
Lex snapped, and you turned, jumping when he grabbed your shoulders.
“Your mother was right, you’re special. You’re so special. You’re probably the only great thing to come out of this town.” You were taken aback by his words. He was still holding you, almost pleading with you to reconsider your words.
“You don’t blame me? I-I’m the reason you’re bald you know.”
Lex couldn’t help it, he had to laugh, and your cheeks colored as you looked away.
“I think baldness is the small price to pay for the arrival of a great person.”
“I’m not great..” You murmured.
“You are great. You’re amazing (Y/N).” He sounded so sincere.
“You’re incredible.”
He insisted. You bit your lip. Although Lex was different, there were still parts of him that never seemed to change. His utter faith in you.
“(Y/N).”
The voice of Jonathan Kent pulled you both from the moment, and Lex released you, taking a step back. Jonathan’s hand folded when he stepped in.
“I need a hand with the tractor. “
“O-Of course dad I’ll be right there.” You walked around Lex a bit nervously, sending him a little smile as you did. One he returned. Lex’s eyes followed you all the way until you were around the corner.
Jonathan still stood there.
“If you hurt my daughter, I swear I don’t care what your last name is, I’ll come after you.”
Lex knew he meant it.
He learned a long time ago that there was nothing Jonathan Kent wouldn’t do for his child.

Chapter Six: The Hookup (Conner's POV)
I went to a party with Bart the following weekend to chill out. Bart smoked, but it wasn’t my thing. He sat with a few guys from our film class and a white-haired girl. I danced with some guy until we made out in the upstairs bedroom. We split a bottle of pricey Japanese whiskey and talked in between. “So, what’s your name?” I asked. He laughed and rested his forehead on my shoulder. We were a little messed up by then, but he seemed nice.
“Reed,” he answered.
“Cool… I’m Conner,” I replied as I chuckled, “Hey, you—. Don’t move. I’ll be right back.” I stepped out to find a bathroom. The one upstairs was occupied, so I went downstairs… And I swore I saw my twin. I pushed the crowd to get to him, but I couldn’t find him once I got to the corner of the room.
“Hey… Hey, are you sick?” Bart asked. He touched my arm, and I ran a hand over my face. I panted as I scanned the room for him. “Conner, look at me. Are you—?”
I searched the downstairs bedrooms, ran upstairs, and started looking in all the rooms for him. “No… No, he was here—.”
“Conner?” Reed questioned. I raked a hand through my hair. I locked myself in the room with Reed. I did it to take my mind off of my twin. I didn’t want to feel crazy, but there was no way my twin would turn up there after fourteen years. “You alright?”
I nodded as I leaned in to kiss him. Reed had soft hands. I remember that. His fingertips gently grazed my neck and embedded themselves in my curls. I tossed my head back, he kissed my neck, and I craned into his touch. His hands distracted me. I found his lips and unbuttoned my shirt.  “Do you have something?” I asked. Reed nodded as he reached into his pocket. We touched foreheads, laughing at how weird that was. Reed was gentle but clumsy. I didn’t mind it, though. He stuck his fingers in my mouth, and I reached for his zipper.
The sex was kind of crazy. I don’t know if it was because I was tipsy, but he was so… Good. Reed made me cum so hard that I let him spit in my mouth. I almost couldn’t remember why I was upset. Reed kissed my forehead and took a swig from the bottle. “You good?” Reed questioned. I stared at the ceiling and nodded. Reed gave me his number, let me keep the bottle, and called a friend to take him home. I went to the bathroom and hid from Bart upstairs until he called me.
“Conner? Did you wanna go home?” Bart asked. By that time, I was so drunk I don’t remember what I said to him. “Yeah… Okay. Come on. Let’s get you some air.” I was surprised I made it home without throwing up. I spent half the night hunched over the toilet, crying while Bart sat with me, running me a bath.
“I wish you’d tell me what’s wrong… I couldn’t find you for thirty minutes after you disappeared,” Bart replied.
“You can go to bed… I’m fine,” I mumbled.
“I don’t mind staying with you. Did—?” I dry heaved, and he waited until I was done to continue. “Did something happen at the party?”
“I don’t know—.”
“Conner, did somebody—?”
I looked up and made a soft noise. “No. No, that’s not—. I think I saw something that wasn’t there. Not something… Someone,” I replied. Bart nodded. I didn’t have to explain. He knew what I meant.
One of the girls knocked on the door, and Bart let them in. “Hey… Here,” Cissie whispered as she gave me a bottle of something reddish pink. “You gotta stay hydrated.” I took a sip and waited before taking another.
“I’ll get you another one tomorrow,” I replied.
“Don’t worry. I’ve got six in my room… Are you alright?” Cissie asked. I nodded as I wiped my tears away and flushed the toilet. “Okay… Well, I’ll leave you to it.”
Bart turned the water off, testing the bathwater to see if it was too hot, and shut the door after Cissie left. “Where’d you go?” Bart asked.
“I hooked up with some guy upstairs… He was cute,” I replied. Bart smiled and shut his eyes.
I thought he was asleep, but he asked, “Are you gonna see him again?”
“Yeah, probably. Would it be dumb to text him tomorrow?” I asked.
“Wait until after one to text him and invite him to the one restaurant with the hot pudding,” Bart replied.
“Do you want me to get you some hot pudding tomorrow?” I asked.
“Fuck yeah,” Bart mumbled.
“Bart, I will take you for hot pudding anytime. I love you so much,” I replied.
Bart laughed. “You’re so drunk,” Bart replied.
I chuckled and gagged. “Uggghhh, don’t make me laugh,” I replied, “Hey…”
“What?” Bart asked.
“Why are your eyes closed? It isn’t like we haven’t—.”
“Yeah. Like three times…I couldn’t look at you straight for a month,” Bart replied. His cheeks went rosy as I got undressed and climbed in the tub.
“Wait, do you remember when your mom came home early with dinner, and you panicked and told her everything,” I replied.
“I’m pretty sure she thought we were smoking weed in my room,” Bart replied. “Yeah? Well, my dad made a slideshow… And then my mom was mad that I snuck across state lines when I was supposed to be at my grandparents’ house,” I replied,
“You got a slideshow. My mom never gave me the talk… Max did. Jay did, too. I don’t know which was worse. Jay’s talk sounded more like a war story and then he forgot that you can’t get pregnant, so he gave me a whole different talk the next day. Max confused me more than anything. I’m glad we stopped doing that, though,” Bart replied. I got quiet. I knew my feelings for Bart were more intense than his feelings for me. We stopped sleeping together because he thought our friendship wouldn’t last long if we kept it up. He’s probably right, but thinking about it made me sad. I sank under the water for what felt like forever, and Bart pulled me up. “What is wrong with you tonight?”
I choked and gasped for air, and he pulled the drain plug. Bart wrapped a towel around my waist as I stood up. I got dressed and waited for Bart to shower. I dozed off on the toilet while Bart got dressed. Then he carried me to bed. He turned to me and sighed. “You’re still thinking about it, aren’t you?” Bart whispered.
“What if my brother—?”
“You were drunk—.” I turned away from him. “Conner, I’ve always believed you and loved you… But, don’t—. Don’t do this.” Bart leaned over me and touched my hair. I didn’t move. “Don’t be mad… I know your heart is—.”
“Don’t finish that sentence. I saw what that did to your parents, and—."
"Bart, I saw him tonight—.”
“I’m tired… And my throat hurts,” I muttered. I knew what I saw, and I thought Bart would believe me. I was wrong… And it fucking sucked.
