Can't take off my mind this very specific flavor of sskk dynamics from a timeline that goes like: the doa arc never happened. Skip forward to bunch of years past the canon events, and you have sskk who can't really call each other enemies since it's now evident to everyone they enjoy seeing each other, but aren't friends either since they do very much still work for enemy organizations. And they just keep stumbling across each other on their respective missions from opposite fronts, trying to capture the same target for their own team, and they keep fighting and competing with each other in a way that is almost playful (but never going easy on each other because then where's the fun!), making them both almost look forward to meet and clash with the other on missions and to fight for the same target. And the mission accomplishment rate has now decreased to a 50% for both of them but neither of them can bring themselves to really care because for the first time they're having the carefree, mindless fun they never experienced in their lives and they have a person they enjoy to spend time with to the point they even got past denying it. And Atsushi telling Akutagawa “even if I let you go now, I'll still have to hunt you down” and Akutagwa replying “hunt me then” and theatrically disappearing out of a window or something leaving Atsushi laughing and just. them being together although nobody is going to say it out loud

i think 2-S is going to inform the ending of Ultrakill. at the bottom of hell... what's left? if v1 kills everything down there, there's nothing left for it. maybe the angels, but only Gabriel seems to be intent on its fate. there's no god, no humanity, no more blood. will v1 accept the end? will it die peacefully? will it go on for something else? we don't know yet, and im incredibly interested to find out.

Still fascinating to me that there's people who truly think their experiences are universal, that because something is popular in the circles they run in means that everyone should know it and will insult and treat people like stupid uncultured swine for even perceived differences in experiences. or if folks disagree with them when they make overly broad generalizations on what 'everyone' knows or thinks.
(b/c it's not like poor people, people from different cultures/subcultures, and people with fundamentally different interests exist.)
Like? That's complete asshat behavior.

a body in motion - chapter 1
Will raises his eyebrows. “Is that why you came in here?” he repeats, looking back down at the blue flannel. “To ask me about the weather in Lenora?”
“Kind of,” Mike says, and then, “well no, not about the weather specifically. I just– I wanted to talk to you.”
“Oh.” And Will looks a lot more surprised at this, actually, than the idea that Mike might have just wanted to come to his room to make small talk about unseasonably frigid California winters. “Okay. What about?”
“Anything.” The response is embarrassingly immediate. “Everything. I don’t know. I missed you.”
Hawkins, 1986. The world is ending, there are too many people in Mike's house, and, to top it all off, he and Will have some things to talk through.

in these trying times (mcytblr sexyman elections) i think it is important to remember that a tumblr sexyman is NOT solely defined by how many bitches they get, nor how physically attractive they are. tumblr sexyman is a trope, and there are a lot of criteria for how that trope fits. however the most important and best rule of thumb is “can you make a how bad can i be animatic with this person” and if the answer is yes, well!

I'd like to issue a formal apology for everyone dealing with my frequent psychonauts postings as someone barely getting into it /j
That being said, my brain has fully switched to early Halloween mode and came up with a Jekyll and Hyde concept involving Sasha (I realize this concept could also work well with Nona) because I'm a sucker for monster transformations and fascinated by the concept of the separation of the self into individual aspects as a physical manifestation
Plus a little bonus werewolf Milla

I am currently thinking about tumblr’s obsession with “came back wrong” necromancy fics, but applying that to the lens of players signing with or getting traded to former teams, maybe even being traded to new teams but with former teammates. Moves that should be a homecoming but they aren’t — things will always carry that faint hint of wrongness. Even when you can go home, you can never go home to the way it was.

At least we know from the episode that Scotland is still a part of the UK in the early 2040s,
given that Aindrea MacRaibert hails from Edinburgh and goes on to lead his party to an overwhelming win, so he’s on track to become prime minister.

I always get a kick out of seeing people tell others to be more on the overtagging side ("Or Else Your Fic Will Never Be Found Ever Again Once It's Off The Main Page!!") because I am and will forever remain an undertagger. I was posting fic before tags were a big thing and I'll probably keep doing it that same way until I stop writing fic, lol.
