Fear Appeal:

A psychological and rhetorical strategy in persuasive communication such as advertising that seeks to evoke a response of fear or anxiety in the audience by showing them an undesirable outcome that they can avoid by heeding the warning. Appeal to Prejudice

Der ewige Jude, a pseudo-documentary directed by Fritz Hippler and influenced by German Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels, featured scenes of Jews in Warsaw and Lodz ghettos. The film was popular in Germany and occupied Europe, with notorious sequences comparing Jews to rats carrying contagion. The film also highlighted the alien nature of East European Jews, with "stereotypical" Polish Jews transformed into "western-looking" Jews. The type of propaganda that deals with famous people or depicts attractive, happy people. This suggests if people buy a product or follow a certain ideology, they too will be happy or successful. (This is used more in advertising for products, instead of political reasons.) Usually for advertising rather than political purposes, sexual arousal may also be used. See when people say "Globalize the Intifada" it implies that there are only two choices in the conflict. One, is the pro-Palestine side, that the aggressive resistance against Israel, and those who support it, and the pro-Israel side is the ones they are against. Without realizing that there is a peaceful option. ( The one I do not know because, one I am not a politician, and international politics is a mess. And two I do not know enough about the conflict to support a peaceful end where everyone is satisfied. )

Cherry picking

suppressing evidence, or the fallacy of incomplete evidence is the act of pointing to individual cases or data that seem to confirm a particular position while ignoring a significant portion of related and similar cases or data that may contradict that position. People desire to be consistent. Suppose a pollster finds that a certain group of people hates his candidate for senator but loves actor A. Demonizing the enemy

My high school is so anti-censorship and anti- book banning that mein kampf is in the autobiography section of the library. Anti-censorship goes both ways, and while obviously most people disagree with the content, it would be hypocritical to remove it, especially when we have a class dedicated to holocaust studies where reading this text could help in understanding why the holocaust happened.

Seriously, am I the only one here who enjoys the Batgirls solo series? Look, I know it's not perfect: some jokes don't land, the characterization isn't always 100% but no, that doesn't make it "The worst comic book ever", "Mein-Kampf-by-way-of-The-Room" or other such rubbish! It's a really good, enjoyable action romp where Cass, Steph and Babs get to let loose, kick-ass, take names and have fun. I just feel that Batgirls and any other Batfam book with Cass Cain are held to such idiotic and impossible standards all because of one-ONE horrible storyline that happened YEARS AGO! You know? Robin: One Year Later? That monstrosity where Cass is turned into a moustache-twirling, Bond baddie reject who makes together-we-can-rule-the-world villain speeches.

To this day, Cass-Cultists will continuously, pointlessly trash the Batgirls solo and Cass-starring Batfam stories all because they can never get over that horrible storyline! To Cass-Cultists: to loosely quote an animated fairy-tale queen, just...let it go already! I love Cass, adore her. I get it, you had to live through terrible stuff-the said turn-to-evil, the editorial-mandated erasure of her-but to be so obsessively bitter, angry at Robin: One Year Later to the point where you forget to have fun with comic books? (a medium based entirely around fun!) and let it defy all future Cass stories, regardless of their actual merits? *sighs*

Maybe I'm speaking as a more lax casual Cass fan here, but please, if we can memory-hole reviled stuff like Beast Machines, The Next Mutation, the worst of either Marvel's Ultimates or DC's New 52 then I'm sure we can forget Robin: One Year Later ever happened. It's that easy! Look, you have every right to like or dislike any stories, just please move on and stop being this guy:

Gab 2 Foglen, aber nur Fole 1 wurde heute gesubbt und ich bin ein FAN! Liko ist sooo precious einfach und der vibe ist eh anders, weil Original Charakter, kein Ash aber auch dass sie ständig im inneren Monolog ist macht den vibe so anders, fühlt sich teils auch unterhaltsam an und so. Das fand ich richtig gut und interessant an ihr, auch wie sie sich um Felori gekümmert hat, es quasi studierte und wir sehen paar kleine Dinge von ihr wie Zeichnen, sehr wissbegeierig anscheinend und es war halt echt toll jetzt ENDLICH in diese Serie zu starten, die wir seit fast 4 Monaten erwarten.

Anne war auch toll, der OST ist erneut Original und mal hoffen, dass ich hier auch meine Faves bekomme, die Friede Truppe sucht sie und viele Geheimnisse mit dem Pendant.  Ohne Ash halt echt anderer vibe, was ich aber mag, denn sowas find ich immer interessant, obwohl es hier einfacher geht.

Sie ist auch soooooo niedlich einfach. Sie hat wirklich diesen ‘must protect’ vibe, den sie abgibt, weil sie oft auch so unsicher in ihren Gedanken ist, so relatable teils und wegen den Monologen bekommen wir mehr mit mit dieser Unsicherheit und so, aber das find ich so niedlich und interessant. Ob das weiterhin bleibt? Könnte nur Folge 1 sein, weil später Roy kommt und für einen Charakter alleine ist Monolog halt gut

hab btw viiiiele Screenshots gemacht. Hatte keine Meinung zu ihr, aber JETZT ist die Serie ja am Laufen und ich mag sie. Wirkt mit vielen Dialogen echt sympathisch, den Gedanken und so.

btw Scenery wieder mitnehmen, was ich inrgendwann in JN mal ausgelassen habe, aber solche Visuals muss man mitnehmen, weil neue Serie, neue schöne ichten

Sie hat viele solcher Kleinigkeiten. Auch nervös oft und so, aber darauf kann man gut aufbauen imo und so. Mag ich, wirkt bei ihr dnan so ‘och’ halt, weil sie so precious ist

Da war echt viel, abert dass der vibe anders war und dadurch meine Wahrnehmung ist nichts, was ich jetzt großartig beschreiben kann.

Ich mag aer wie sie sich am Ende mit Felori dann verstanden hat durch ihre Arbeit und kleine Hürden und der andere da wirkt auch cool. Ich HAB den Manga gesehen und er ist einer der bösen, die das Amulett wollen, wirkte wie ein Hitman hier. Cooles Design, cooler dude und friede auch. ALLEN wollen das Amulett und in Folge 2 ist ja dieses PKMN da von dem DLC bzw dessen Vorentwicklung. Kampf hier war auch echt nice, visuals toll und so.

Folge 1 mochte ich. Alleine schon so in ein neues Abenteuer zu starten. Teils erinnert es mich an TW mit neuem OST und so. Was etwas positives ist, aber locker null verbindung außer in menen Gedanken
