A/N: I haven't done a headcanon type of post yet, but they're easier to write than regular one shots and I'm too tired for that shit. The request didn't specify what kind of Reader (spouse or child), so I just went with general headcanons that don't specify the Reader at all. Insert yourself as you wish!

Also, thank you all for your patience! It's been very busy for me lately and I've been too exhausted to write much, so expect a lot more of these kinds of posts (the formatting is easier and I don't have to write a bunch of dialogue lol).

As the father of humanity, Adam had...a lot of kids. The guy lived for 800+ years just populating the earth. That's a LOT of kids. We all know how the first two turned out. That is, not fuckin' well. To be honest, I don't think Adam valued his children. It was just kinda... a thing he had to do. (When Abel died and Cain got exiled, he fr just went and had another kid to replace them.) But I am in deep, deep denial and this is for my enjoyment as someone with severe daddy issues. So fuck all that.

At first, Adam is 100% the guy that freaks the fuck out when he finds out he knocked someone up. That man is SWEATING. He's actually pretty chill if it's someone he's in an established long-term relationship with, though. He still freaks the fuck out, but to a significantly lesser degree and with a much smaller chance of up and leaving. Once he's over the initial shock, he's shocked to find that he's kind of excited. Back when he was alive, having kids was just normal because it was such a common occurrence.

This man knows every little detail about pregnancy and infants. With the amount of kids he's had? He has seen it ALL. Sure, all his information is thousands of years old, but knowledge learned through experience is super valuable when it comes to this shit! He doesn't know what the fuck a uterus is, but he knows exactly how to make his partner the most comfortable, how to deal with cravings, etc. If his partner has a problem, he's got a solution. It might be a fuckin' weird one, but it works! He'll probably grumble and complain, but he doesn't actually mean it. Bitching is just his thing, y'know? But... pregnancy hormones + Adam's douchebag-ness = feelings getting hurt. If his partner starts crying because of some shit joke or complaint he made? He's scrambling so fast. "Shit, babe, fuck, I'm sorry, I didn't mean it, fuckfuckfuck, don't cry—"

Once the baby is born, he definitely surprises literally everyone but his partner by actually doing helpful shit. Changing diapers? Easy fuckin' peasy (he does watch a tutorial online because he doesn't know how tf modern diapers work but he's a fast learner) Feeding? No problemo. Getting up in the middle of the night to do both of those things? His sleep schedule's already fucked, this shit ain't new.

When it comes to parenting and raising the kid, though... that's definitely where Adam struggles. He'd struggle with bonding. A lot. Adam mostly talks about things that you really shouldn't say around children, much less bond over. I think he'd be better at just letting the kid ramble while he's just sitting there, fully engrossed in whatever bullshit his child is saying. He's not just passively listening with little 'uh-huh's and nods, this man is active in the discussion. Have you ever heard a small child speak? They say the most random shit ever, and Adam would love it. It's peak entertainment to him. Even if it's just incoherent babbling, he'll have full-on conversations with this baby.

He'd definitely have some shared interests as the kid gets older. I think Adam's favorite shows/movies are a mix of action movies and shit like Power Rangers. He's not ashamed of it either—'fuck you, the Power Rangers are fuckin' cool.' This also goes for video games. I know that man is a toxic COD gamer boy and you can't prove me wrong. Basically, the only thing that keeps him from becoming one of those husbands that locks himself away in a man cave to play video games is the fact that he can game with his kid.

And once they get into school, he just gets really invested in the drama. Elementary school drama is such bullshit, and it'd be the best reality TV he's ever seen. "Oh, don't tell me—it's that bitch Cindy. The fuck did that little shit do this time?" He'd be gasping like it's a damn soap opera. 'Oh no she didn't!' kinda vibe.

He'd talk so much shit around his kid about the parents of their classmates, the teachers, anyone. Then the kid would repeat it and Adam would get sat down in the office with his kid like: "Your child said, and I quote, 'My dad says your mom's a bitch.'" "What? She fuckin' is." And yeah, he's not wrong - some of those parents are fucking nightmares.

If his kid got in trouble for fighting, his reaction would depend on the situation. If it was unprovoked and/or a part of bullying, he'd originally laugh it off but would be freaking the fuck out internally. He's probably a little traumatized by what happened with Cain and Abel. But if the fighting was an act of defense (whether of themselves or someone else) he would be the proudest dad ever. Fist-bumps his kid in the office in full view of the principal.

You cannot trust this man to give his kid the sex talk. It just will not go well. Like, if his kid needs advice when they're older (basically anything beyond 'where do babies come from') then he's your guy, but it's still gonna be awkward and uncomfortable. He'd probably have Lute handle most of those issues just so he doesn't have to know about his kid's sex life but can still trust that they have a responsible(?) adult if they have questions.

In terms of where Adam is lacking as a parent, there's a few areas in particular to focus on.

Emotional availability? Not his strong suit. At all. He can't deal with his own feelings, let alone his kid's. Most of the emotional support will be coming from his partner. That doesn't mean he doesn't try. But he can't show it with words all that well. He'll show emotional support in other ways—quality time, gifts, and acts of service for the most part. Like going out for ice cream, watching a movie, etc.

He's not good with discipline. To him, everything's no big deal. If his kid hasn't killed their sibling, that's good enough for him! Generally, his partner will choose when/how to discipline (with Adam's input ofc), but Adam's job is to just enforce it/not overrule it. He's 100% the type to be sneaky about it tho. If his kid is grounded, he'll go out with them to give them a break from being stuck in the house, y'know, stuff like that. Because of this, his kid forms a closer, different kind of bond than with Adam's partner. It's more friendly, I guess is the word? Like, his kid won't go to him for actual helpful advice, but if they fuck up somehow or are in a bad situation that they kinda got themselves into (drinking, car accident, etc.), then Adam is the parent they call.

I think Adam's peak parenting era would be when his kid is a late teen/young adult. 'Cause then he can actually be himself, for the most part. His personality is not very kid-friendly, so once his kid isn't really much of a kid anymore—he is so fucking excited. His relationship with his kid would be a lot more unconventional as they grow older. Like, he's really close with his kid once they're an adult. (totally not basing this off my relationship with my mom) His advice would be shit, but he'd give it if his kid needed it!

Definitely the type to text his kid more often than most parents. Mostly because he texts more like them and has the same sense of humor. Lots of shitty memes.

Also!! I think Adam would definitely make time for his partner. Date nights are a must. His kid better get comfortable with sleepovers at friends' houses or getting babysat by Emily 'cause he ain't letting parenthood fuck up his sex life.

you'd heard horror stories from other wives about leaving your kids alone with your kids alone with just their dad, but you knew that when it came to kyle--you didn't have a single thing to worry about.

that man had the kids routines memorised, even when he was off on the other side of the world fighting the monsters that hide in the dark. he knew when to call to say goodnight, if he could, when not to call because it would be bath time, and what football team his sons under 7's team were playing every week. 

kyle garrick was a great father and a fantastic husband--having sent you off for a birthday spa retreat where you could truly have some time off from being a mother. you carried the family when he was away, so when he wasn't deployed he made every second count, and took on the weight of the family. 

he hadn't wanted to bother you with updates during your day and night away, so he and the kids had instead taken plenty of photos and videos to show you when you came back.

you sit now on your family's couch, snuggled up to kyle while your kids cuddle up on each side of you, and you all watch the video kyle had put together. 

the first shot is a video of you driving away, them saying they loved you and to have a good time, then the camera immediately cut to a video of them all in the kitchen, baking a cake for you'd return. both of your children throw flour at each other, while kyle films the whole thing. then it shifts to a picture of him back in the kitchen, the entire place spotless with him and the kids grinning. 

after the cake chaos, there are clips of them all gaming together for their allotted screen time. kyle had used the couch cushions to construct makeshift cars while the kids played mario kart. your son let his younger sister win at least once, and the image of the characters on the podium makes you smile. the camera was even left running to capture the kids not complaining even once when their dad tells them it's time to finish. 

and then came the clips of bedtime--your daughters first. her and kyle were currently working through a re-read of her set of bluey books. there's one book in the set she never lets you read, only her dada. you watch kyle sit next to your girl, reading the story with such enthusiasm and even doing his terribly amazing australian accent. 

next was your son's bedtime, and seeing your two boys together always warms your heart. kyle is always teaching your son to be the best little man he can be, even if it's not the traditional way of being. you watch as your son asks questions about how much his dada loves you, as he wonders aloud about his future spouse. 

the video comes to a close with a shot of kyle in your shared bed, clutching your pillow close to him as he cuddles up for the night. 

"aww, I love it. I'm so glad you all had such a good time while I was gone!" you smile from ear to ear, heart completely full at the video made by your family. 

"we did!" your son cheers, just a touch too loudly in your ear. "did you have a good time?" 

you nod fervently, your smile mirrored on your kids faces. you pull your son in for a smooch to the cheek, as your daughter cuddles close to her dadam "yes baby, i did, though i missed you all so much." 

which is the truth, you did miss your family while you were gone, but you also really appreciated some time just for yourself. you make a mental note to return the favour for kyle, or to arrange something for just the two of you.

"go grab your mum's cake from the fridge, yeah?" kyle says, sending the kids out of the living room and into the kitchen, giving the two of you time alone.

you turn to your husband, about to thank him when he pulls you in for a deep, sensual kiss. your eyes flutter shut, as kyle kisses you like he's missed you for so long, not just a night.

"i love you, kyle." you sigh into his lips.

"love you too." he replies, before smirking filthily. "got a video to show you later though, your eyes only."

And there's been more dadam scenes this year because his focus has been all about him really stepping and growing into the role of dad...whereas Kim already has with her mom storyline, this year for her has been about her own mental health growth.

Yet again I have no idea who those people are (twitter folks? My twitter is primarily used for the rookie and keeping up with my old na pals) but they don't speak for everyone and they don't speak for me. Because I adore mom kim (actually more than I adore dadam, so you're wrong on that front. Although it's only just about, and more because Kim is my favourite character marginally over Adam and also because mom and daughter bonds to me are so special especially single mothers).

Plus anyone who hates Kim's child calling her mom has misunderstood the whole last three seasons and most likely has internalised misogyny.

Finally, you don't want Kim to die because we've "disrespected" her (because one you've clearly seen a lot of my posts and others which show otherwise) but because for whatever reason you hate Kim/Adam/Burzek because here's the thing, people who are passionate about a character doesn't wish death upon them to escape perceived bad writing because death is an extreme and horrible thing.

And they sure as hell don't think a literal child doesn't deserve her wonderful adoptive mother.

I don’t think it’ll get resolved within the episode, it might a longer storyline, but I can definitely see it being one with a happy ending.

I don’t like the word separate. Kim is creating a boundary (as the second nanny said). That is totally within her rights, as Makayla’s sole parent to do. We don’t the full context for the why and honestly even if we did it doesn’t matter. Kim is Makayla’s parent. She has total and complete say over over how much interaction Adam has with her daughter.

As much as people are saying, 'co-parents, co-parents, yay, yay, yay!!' They aren’t that (not yet). Legally speaking they just aren’t. Yes most of what I see here, are just joking when they say that and when they say Dadam. It's hope for the future. But others, as always, are taking way too on board. Adam is still just a guardian. He doesn’t get an equal say, he doesn’t get any say. But if he doesn’t like it he can change it, but only by backing out.

Now don’t get me wrong, it’s great that they’re close. Guardians should be close with the kid(s) that could come into their care!! And full up, as critical as I am of Adam if I had kids? He’d 10000% be top babysitter choice. He’s great with them! I mean I’d expect to come home to a disaster zone and hyper/hopped up kids, but I’d know the entire time I was gone they were safe, having fun, and most importantly that they were loved and that would have felt that love fiercely and fully. Because that is a large part of Adam Ruzek.

BUT if he is being mistaken as a parent, creating confusion with Makayla. If he has over stepped that role of guardian, making a some kind custodial/medical/legal decision for Makayla, about Makayla, circumventing Kim or worse leaving her out of the loop. If Makayla is testing boundaries and trying to play them against each (like kids do to their parents). Or even the seeming concern from the promo of ‘what happens if xyz happens and you pull away from her.' These are all valid reason for Kim saying ‘here’s the line,’ and establishing it now. Because now is the best way to minimize any fallout with Makayla and abandonment later on. Kim is, hopefully, fully thinking of her daughter her. Her daughter. Not theirs. Not yet.

“A little what?!” Remus had asked. 

“Just- you’ll see. But remember I love you and they will too. You’re great! You’ll do great.”

Well, here they were and Remus didn’t feel super great. He felt super not great, in fact, looking at the literal white picket fence and perfectly mowed lawn and the cute lacy curtains visible in the upstairs windows. There were healthy looking plants everywhere, and a cat asleep on the living room windowsill, and ohgoditwasworsethanhecould’veexpected. 

Patton turned the engine off and turned to him with a bright smile, which never failed to soothe him when he was feeling… this. But the second his boyfriend bounced out of the car, and the front door opened so he could run up and hug his parents, Remus felt bad again. He just wasn’t from this kind of family! What if he said the wrong thing or did the wrong thing or was too gross or unfiltered or- 

“Babe! Come on out so we can get inside!” Strike one for doing the wrong thing, eesh. Remus hurried out of the car and grabbed their bags from the backseat, hurrying inside. 

He watched Patton carefully to work out if he needed to take his shoes off or not, toeing them off and receiving a nod from a man who appeared to be Patton’s… dad maybe? He was a bit older but he was pretty sure he remembered Pat saying that he’d been a bit of a late surprise in the end. It could’ve been his eldest brother though, and to find out he stuck his hand out with what he hoped was a winning smile. “Hi, I’m Remus!” 

The man sipped a mug of coffee Remus hadn’t noticed before and slowly took the hand. “Donovan. Go on, get inside. The dads are dying to meet you and fill you with snacks. God forbid we actually get hungry enough for dinner…” Donovan muttered, taking himself and his coffee off into the living room with Remus trailing behind. 

He was relieved to see Patton in there, wrapped in a bear hug by a jolly looking man who was twisting them and making a delighted sound. “My baby! Returned to the nest! Never to leave again no, not my baby!” There was scattered laughter as Patton protested with a giggle, and then all heads turned to Remus. “Oh a newcomer! A new son?!” The man cried, ruffling Patton’s hair when he was quickly scolded by the blushing young man. 

“Dadmile honestly! You said you wouldn’t be too embarrassing!” He grumbled, escaping the confines of his father’s arms and sneaking over to Remus’s side, pecking his cheek. “This is Remus. I would appreciate it if we all behaved today please! I like him a lot!” 

“Challenge accepted,” another man said from the couch, legs kicked up casually onto the arm. “Alright, or not!” He quickly raised his hands when faced with Patton’s scowl and Remus felt himself start to relax. This was nothing like he’d expected, but nor was it like he’d feared. Things felt normal, easy, and welcoming, and the banter was definitely up his street. 

He was walked around and introduced to Patton’s other siblings. Logan was arriving later on that night, but Donovan and Roman were both funny, witty and pleasantly willing to include Remus in their back and forth. Emile, Patton’s first dad, retrieved his husband from the shed and ‘Dadams’- yeah they were definitely his kind of weirdos- aka Thomas (and that one took some explaining) had shaken his hand with great enthusiasm before enlisting his help with some engine troubles in the garage that none of the rest of the family were able to advise on, with Patton proudly waving him off and audibly gushing about him to the others as they left the room. Thomas clapped him on the back and gave him a knowing look as Remus sighed dreamily, but kindly let him chat about oil levels instead of grilling him on the spot. 

It was fantastic. And it was super freaking helpful when the rest of the extended clan arrived the next day. Because, if anything, these were the calmest of the bunch…

Lydia headcannons pt. 2!

She’s half Mexican!

She celebrates la dia de los muertos (Day of the dead) every year with her dad and Delia

She’ll just talk to her mom’s grave about how things have been so far, how everyone’s doing, and what crazy things her and Beetlejuice have been up to

She also does the thing where she expects foods to be in the wrong containers (Soup in a butter container, sauce in a cream cheese container, an old guacamole container filled with beans) because of how used to it she is

Then she’s like “oh yeah, they’re middle class, suburban, and white.”

She’s fluent in Spanish!

She takes Spanish class because she just wants to get her credits without having to do much work

She’ll talk in Spanish when she’s angry, and in that really fast Spanish. You know the kind.

Nobody can understand her, except for Delia, who’s a polyglot.

She found this out by accident when she was ranting to a friend on the phone in Spanish

Delia just asks her about it casually in Spanish and Lydia is like “!!?”

She used to love Pocoyo as a kid

She owns black platform crocs that she has decorated with the little croc charms

One of them is of pocoyo

She’s made a hobby of making the most obscure shirts ever

Beetlejuice has one that just says “Do you fear god?” With a beanie baby worm on it, courtesy of Lydia.

She had a scene phase, which turned into an emo phase, which then turned into her current goth phase.

She still owns a few hair clips and kandi bracelets because they’re cute

She’s goes to pride with Beetlejuice every year!

He’ll be decked out from head to toe in pride gear with a big ass bi flag

Lydia however just goes in summer friendly goth attire, a lesbian flag tied around her shoulders like a cape, and a little button of a puppy with a trans flag bandana on her shirt!

Beetlejuice hugs almost every mama bear (an LGBT organization where moms give hugs at pride) at pride

First time he did it, he almost cried because holy shit, this man is SO touch starved

(Also he wasn’t used to being accepted in the netherworld but that’s for a later post)

Lydia took a photo of it and taped it to her wall

They both try and get as much free shit as possible

They once had a contest to see who can get the most bead necklaces

Lydia came out with 32

Beetlejuice ended with 53 somehow

They just have a giant box filled with bead necklaces, the special ones (different shaped beads, ones with little things at the end, etc) put in a separate box.

When it comes to the kink floats, Lydia always covers shields her eyes because fetish

Beetlejuice, however, fucking wolf whistles and is like “YEAAAAAH BABEY!!”

The first time they went to pride, there was a man in a harness, leather pants, and a dragon mask cracking a big ass leather whip.

“Damn, I wish Adam could do that to me.”

She calls Adam and Barbra her “dadam” and “maman”

They absolutely love it

But those 1 in 10 moments?

Tender.

She’ll sometimes do duets with Beej, who can play the ukulele (as seen in “The whole being dead thing”)

It’s usually very soft and tender songs

She gets Adam and Beetlejuice to sings “breathe” from In the heights with her

They absolutely butcher the Spanish but they’re trying

She does eventually learn to play the ukulele on her own

But that makes it her 3rd instrument

She knows how to play the violin and piano!

She’s 12/10 at both

She learned violin at 6 and piano at 8

Ukulele, she struggles a bit at first because “HOW DO I POSITION MY FINGERS LIKE THAT HOLY FUCK”

She gets the hang of it pretty quickly because ukulele is one of the easiest instruments to learn (or so I’ve been told. I’m still struggling, but I don’t play too often so that’s most likely why.)

She quit violin for a couple of years before figuring out that “holy shit, I can play more than just classical music!”

She’s learned megalovania on all 3 instruments

She’ll sometimes just randomly get up in the middle of the night to play a song or two.

It’ll just be 2am and all you hear is discord on the violin

Barbra and Adam don’t mind

Delia doesn’t mind too much

Charles very much minds because he’s a light sleeper and a coward

He doesn’t tell Lydia though

She’s serenaded a couple of girls in her days

(promt) lydias pacing her room, she dosn't know how to tell her. She feels so, vunerlable. She yells barbaras name and she comes into her room. "Everything alright honey?" Lydia takes a deep breath "I think I got a girlfriend."

First comes love, then comes the awkward flirting stage, and then comes the part where you two are official but not really but you know they like you and you like them! Or at least that's what Lydia thought it went as. She didn't really care at the moment. Her lips were still tingling and her heart, had it not pretty much stopped from shock, would be beating a million miles a minute. Hell, a second.

She had to tell someone. This was a lot. But she has to think this over.

Beetlejuice popped into her head first. He'd be too big of a risk. If it ended up not going too well with her girlfriend (Lydia nearly passed out at the thought) then Beetlejuice would hold it over her head. It was her first relationship. She didn't need Beetlejuice making of fun of her until the end of time, which she was quite sure he would do. No, someone else.

Dad? Nope. No doubt that was a bad idea. He'd lose his mind.

Delia? Lydia mulled it over. On one hand, she could be quite useful when it came to dating advice and whatnot. On the other hand... It would be quite a headache to sit through her excitement.

That left the Maitlands. Dadam was great. But he was, well, a father kind of figure. And this stuff should be reserved for moms.

A pang went through Lydia, and her joyful yet panicked euphoria began to slowly fade at the thought of Mom. Who else did she know that was almost as good as Mom?

Barbara.

She called out for the ghost, and in she came. She looked so welcoming. Lydia calmed down a bit at the sight.

"So, Barbara," she started, but was interrupted by Barbara, who bent down to smooth out the rug where Lydia had been pacing without realizing it. "Lydia, honey, what did we say about wearing combat boots indoors? You're leaving marks on the floor and you're wearing down your rug. Shoes off, please."

Lydia kicked off the boots and dove back into her speech. The distraction, however, made her lose her place, and she went straight for the big reveal. "I think I have a girlfriend."

Barbara was still facing the floor, smoothing out the prints in the rug. She froze. Lydia held her breath.

Slowly, Barbara stood up. Her face was blank, but when she locked eyes with Lydia, there was an immeasurable amount of joy there. Lydia felt her shoulders drop, releasing the tension she didn't know she was holding. A flood of relief came over her.

"I.. am so.... HAPPY FOR YOU!" Barbara cried out in delight. She hugged Lydia and rocked back and forth, spitting out words and phrases so fast, Lydia didn't know which to focus on. "You're growing so fast- you deserve it girl- oh my god, can we meet her?- oh my- this is so- ah, my little girl!- I'm so proud of you!"

Lydia finally managed to pry Barbara off of her, and simply said, "She's coming over tomorrow."

Barbara smiled from ear to ear.

Lydia couldn't help but laugh.

I think Makayla would have less guilt/difficulty attaching to him (even moreso than Kim) because her father was absent, and she’s still mourning her mother. AND YES YES YES this is exactly what's been in my thoughts!!!!

Three asks in is enough to get super personal (lol like this isn't public 🤣) but I don't have a father-- at least not one worthy of the name!!! So literally from when this started, that was *EXACTLY* my thought. Like Makayla, I think, will have a lot of trouble getting close to a lot of people, specifically the adults in her life. And the handful she'll have a bond with it'll be tight, but this is literally my thoughts.

Like they'll be that guilt, about bonding to Kim. She is, and they'll have a deep-- deeper, I think, than any other bond she has with the other adults just because of how trauma goes. But at the end of the day, Makayla has a mother, and one who loved her a lot, so they'll be that guilt about bonding with Kim.

But Makayla had an absent father, so there's less of that specific guilt so this has literally been in my mind, bc he's not "replacing" a specific person she knew.

Although I don't think, if she'd ever call either a parental name (mom and dad, if burzek get together so Adam is that "dad"), that this means she'd call Adam dad before Kim mom. Because there IS going to be some difficulty on that level, because unfortunately, Makayla *knows* her bio dad was involved in what took her family away from her. So I think she'll have less guilt about bonding with Adam in a paternal way, but there's still going to be those moments.

AND, say if Kevin or Jay was with Kim that day, not Adam, and Adam wasn't also one of her first contacts, I'm not too sure if that bonding would come as easily. Bc even if she's calling Adam an uncle, kids are resilient, and would pick up that Adam is exactly like uncle Kevin-- even if burzek aren't working on getting back together.

But I really want Adam and Makayla to bond in such a deep, profound way. In a that kind of way that the bond is there, forever and always, and it's just one of those bonds that's just so magically and beautiful. This is another reason why I wanted to write a Kim recovery fic, and at this point you're basically convincing me I need to write it!!!

AND YES YES YES that is absolutely my wish too!!!!! I need, like I NEED IT LIKE I NEED AIR, Makayla to have a special nickname for Adam. I've made a joke that she'll jokingly call Adam dadam after hearing Kev make the pun, but I can't see that happening when Kim's still in hospital, because it's too soon for dad puns. And I have an absolute HUGE desire for, when Makayla is more comfortable and is sassing him, to call him Ruz bc she's heard Kevin do it. Just bc I think that would be really really cute.

But I really want a cute unique name for her to call him, although I'm struggling to think of what, so hopefully the show comes up with something and does it!!!

The nail polish really is telling (and I love it so much I actually wrote a fic around it) and I think the show will actually show us a few lovely bonding moments between Adam and Makayla. I think as well, Makayla is already very comfortable around him, on the account of just how relaxed she seemed when he was looking after her, and that she could fall asleep with him there. She's six, yes, but she's also traumatized and I think it's very telling.

Obviously the show isn't just about burzek and Makayla, so we won't get much on that front, but I definitely think we'll get some cute moments. Potentially Adam telling Makayla, or bringing her to the hospital, maybe even a school pick up-- AND I'm hoping we get to see her paint his nails and make him all pretty.

And I hope to continue to see Adam and Makayla scenes as the season goes on. Like part of my recovery fic would have Adam temporarily move in to help out, and he stays longer when she's recovered, bc Makayla emotionally needs that stability, especially bc she'd trauma bond to him when Kim's in the hospital.

Of course this is the show, so they probably won't have that. But I want Adam staying over some nights, having dinner with them, going out on weekends-- just him and her, as well as with Kim. Just so Makayla knows she has him still in her life. (And is it too much for me to want him to sometimes do pick ups or drop offs?? 🤣)
