Get Wild Mod by MathModder (In Progress)

What you need to know:

This mod introduces wild animals into your game map that spawn naturally in beetle spawners. It includes birds, small mammals, amphibians, more insects and reptiles in nature zones. Birds can fly and land in random locations and ground animals can be seen walking around the map.

You can choose ONE from various versions that best suit your world. Select the version that spawns specific animals suitable for your World's location.

Here's a list of potential versions that will be included in the mod:

These additional effects mentioned above will appear rarely and randomly in your world.

Can I place individual animals in specific locations, such as on rocks or tables?

In a future update after launch, this function will be added, for now they will only spawn where there is a beetle spawner. Ground animals on the ground and birds in the air.

Is the mod heavy to run?

Within the game I am optimizing it so that a small number of animals spawn at the same time and only spawn at a maximum distance of 500 meters from the player's camera.

How many files will there be?

Because there are many animals and specific animations for each one, the files will be heavy, will be a maximum of 2 to 3 files. In tests in my game with 150 other mods from other creators, I didn't see any loss of performance due to the optimization I'm doing within the game.

It is worth mentioning that some files will need to be placed in the Overrides folder and others in the Packages folder, they will all be specified at launch.

Is this mod compatible with other effect mods?

Yes, it will be compatible.

Bugs:

Depending on the location, there may be some bugs such as birds landing in the air or animals walking a little above the ground, this is due to calculation problems on certain game surfaces and physics, whether hills or mountains, but over time I will update and see What can I do to reduce this. In this case I depend on the engine the game has and whether it is possible to correct certain errors.

So! Everything I’ve learned about spooders is from my aunt Angie, and Exotic Lair on YouTube and now I’m talking about Idia!

Spiders rub their thorax with their legs to kick their little hairs at predators or enemies, they actually get irritated really quickly (no I personally haven’t had kicked hairs in my arms, but my Auntie has and we had to drive her to the hospital cause the topical ointments were causing an allergic reaction) so all I’m picturing is if you scare Idia, and his back to you he kicks his hairs at you. Make sure to knock before entering his room! Nobody makes this mistake twice…

Some tarantelas keep small frogs in a symbiotic relationship where the frog protects the spiders eggs, and the spider protects the frog, so honestly…Ortho is a frog boy. Maybe not a full frog boy but like he wears froggy outfits. He has a bucket hat with the frog eyes, and everything!

Spiders use their webs as an extended sense of touch, so as much as I want to say Idia uses his webbing for wiring and electronics, I’m worried he would electrocute himself…he probably does periodically and you and Ortho yell at him to STOP! This is the third time!

Spiders HATE blowing air and wind, so he uses it as an excuse to avoid the outdoors. « It’s so windy out though! » it actually can cause overstimulation for them, and they can get sick from too much wind! So windy days I bet he gets a bit of a fever every time. His little hairs also shake to try and calm down. He looks like he’s vibrating

So there are burrowing spiders (which are the ones I know about) and arborils (or the tree livers…) and since he prefers the indoors, he would be a burrower! Also cause then I can talk about him! Also cause he would prefer the dark, damp, and he would totally burrow into his blanket fort, and his super fluffy hoodie!

After he molts he’s SUPER pretty, as all spiders are! They’re so vibrant and bright blue. I bet Idia would be a cobalt blue tarantula, and if Ortho is a spider, I bet he would be a rose hair. Rose hairs are best for beginners, as they’re pretty docile, and just live and let live, while cobalts choose violence more often. Rose hairs also choose violence, but more as a last resort. Both kick hairs, but cobalts also bite…

So spiders teeth are actually like straws (if I’m remembering correctly) so just picture him crunching a soda can and he sucks it all down! Just a SHLURP, and he’s hydrated! But I bet he still likes the crunch of chips. (Weird asmr too look for is tarantula feeding! Don’t watch if you have a weak stomach)

Spiders don’t have bones and use more of a hydrolic system to move, with their heart pushing blood into each leg to move forward then pull it back. So I say Idia has very few bones, or none, and his human torso is highly flexible. Without his exo he would be very bendy.

Spiders have retractable claws AND PAW PADS! They only have two of each on each food, so 16 paw pads to squish! But spider pads are different from other animals, as they have tiny hairs that help them stick to things and climb. (Once scientists found web residue in spider foot prints so they were like « they stick by excreting webbing from their feet! » and another groupe was like « bet, there is webbing everywhere! How do you know they’re not trailing it like toilet paper?» and covered a spiders butt with wax to keep the environment more clean, and there was no webbing there! I love science beef) his little feet’s are still probably sticky from webbing, so use a baby wipe or something to clean him up.

Males leave their burrows to go try and see if someone wants to mate (I’m not going into how they have to carry their little sperm web bag with them, because yes they have to take the sperm and put it into basically a little bag to put in the female!) so only when he’s actually interested does he start to leave his room for you! He helps clean up ramshackle I bet! Or uses robots to help clean it…

Different breeds have different mating styles, but the peacock spider does a little dance, shaking his butt around and he’s like « please, please, please, please plea-«  or they also tap a little pattern on the females webbing to see if she’s willing,

Spiders don’t have genders until I think their third molt, and that’s just a free fun fact!

So many cute and interesting things.

I think of Ortho being a dif creature from his brother. Maybe cuz of their parents are dif creatures with one being a spider and the others something else or current or past ortho was a spider but always wanted to be something different so Idia decided to be a cool bro and make him a body that lets him be whatever he wants.

So, imagine he has all these diff creature bods. Dog, bunny, frog, bee, spooder, and whatever else.

Part of me thinks Idia helping to clean would just him picking you up under the arms like a cat and lifting you to reach things which would be so funny to see.

It would be cute if Yuu kept baby wipes with them and helped Idia keep those spider feeties clean when he needs it.

It would be pretty freaking cool Seeing Idia do the soda can thing, i feel like he would try not to do it around you at first but forgets but then you act all impressed and tell him it's cool and he's flustered.

Poor Idia on those windy days. Makes me think of that orange cat that hates the beach cuz it was windy.

He makes that face whenever it gets windy.

Hmmm the hairs though...in this AU I think of the hairs he has being soft of fluffy baby they get stiff when scared so he can do that thing, or it becomes that way cuz magic.

....I'm just picturing him doing his scared yelling while doing it and I can't stop laughing. It's just such a silly mental image and I love it.

This was supposed to be for Mermay, but I got sick towards the end whoops. Anyways Mermay with the Borderlands Sirens but as actual sirens. And yes I’m adding Rhys, I love the Au where he’s secretly a siren like come on.

AU time: Sirens are their own race of mermaids that many people fear due to their powerful nature. They “guard” Eridian found at the bottom of the ocean, so many people try to befriend them in hopes of getting to the previous mineral. My lil thought for this is how Angel came to be. Handsome Jack may have seduced her mother or something along the lines idk

To the fish parts: I started off picking fish that best resembles the Sirens aesthetic but later changed it to which sea creature better matches with their abilities and it was a lot of fun.

Steele - barracuda; I couldn’t find info on her abilities so I just did one that matches her personality and name.

Lilith - fire hawkfish; matches her alias and her color scheme.

Tannis - spotted torpedo; this is where I begin picking fish that matches their abilities. Because she has angel’s tech powers, I picked the spotted torpedo that can shock its prey.

Maya - sea Angel; picked this one due to its cool mucus net it spits out when catching prey and it was the closest thing I could find for her phaselock. Fly high maya

Ava - sea butterfly; same way of hunting as the sea Angel and she has the same abilities so ya.

Angel - glass knifefish; another electric fish but it had a soft color pallet that I thought would match Angel more

Amara - peacock mantis shrimp; these dudes punch with the power of the sun and are known to break fingers and tanks. It was a no brainer picking this guy for Amara and for a flashy little guy I thought he fit Amara’s big personality.

Tyreen - lamprey; she absorbs the life force out of people and this dude is known for sucking the blood out of its prey. It’s right there

Troy - angler fish; the male sticks onto the female and leech off of them I thought it fit perfectly

Rhys - electric eel; I feel like he would have a tech ability similar to Angel so electric eel

I wish I could’ve done more research I think I would find better fishes for them but oh well anyways my borderlands obsession is coming back and I don’t know why enjoy

I have a list of animal associations for project moon characters in general... I'm still working on it but I eventually want to get to background characters too like the optional ruina receptions etc. But currently these are my thoughts for limbus...

Dante: Merulanella blister/tricolor isopod (a perfect match if you ask me... very expensive collectionist morph too). This might change once we know more about them though!

Dongbaek: Caramel crow!! (This would be a regular American crow, caramel is a mutation that's still being researched which gives them a creamy brown coloration)

You turn to face the woman addressing you, a Dora Milaje. “She speaks,” you responded, straightening your posture. “You are tall, yes, but your height does little to frighten me. A Dora Milaje exuberates dominance without stretching out her neck like a peacock,” she responds coldly, causing you to deflate a little. “Come with us; we have much to discuss.”

“You are recruiting the daughter of someone who has committed treason against her sisters-in-arms?” the queen whispers in disbelief. “The girl is safe. Her father was a scientist for the palace, so I am sure she is on our side”. Okoye whispers back, straightening her posture as the three of you approach the throne. The guards freeze at your sides and cross their arms before bowing their heads in respect to the queen. “I have something to say,” you announce before you are silenced by the general “You do not speak to the queen until you are spoken to, girl.” she scolds. The room is deathly silent for a moment before you tilt your head menacingly and glare at the general. “Firstly,” you say, stepping forward, “Ndingumfazi, ungandibizi ngentombazana.” (I am a woman, don't call me girl).

The queen’s eyes widen in shock, but her pursed lips twitch in amusement. “A very bold woman she is. I never see anyone snap back at Okoye,” the queen adds, looking between us. The general sucks her teeth and rolls her eyes in displeasure. The queen stands up from her throne and walks over to you, stopping a few feet back to scan your body. “You’ll need to be fitted for a suit. You're taller and slightly broader than the others. Come with me.” she says, walking past you and down the hall. Hesitantly, you follow obediently behind her until you reach an empty lab surrounded by advanced technology inside and out.

“Stand right there, and I’ll have GRIOT take your measurements,” she says nonchalantly as she presses several buttons on a machine. “You're letting a man take my measurements!?” You exclaim, covering your body despite being fully clothed. The Queen rolls her eyes and shakes her head. “No, GRIOT is my AI.” she corrects. You shake your head and sigh. “I don’t know what is worse. A real man or an artificial one” as if on cue an oddly soothing robotic voice rings around you. “I am simply a program designed to assist Princess Shuri in the lab. I am technically not male or female.” the AI responds. “These AI are becoming too intelligent. They could take over the world you know.” You say, still looking around the room as if expecting a man to appear from around the corner.

Shuri stopped moving and stared at her computer with a sad smile. “Princess, have I upset you?” You ask worriedly. She inhales sharply and resumes her work. “No, you didn’t. Quite the opposite. Just then you reminded me of someone I cared for very deeply.” she turns to you and smiles softly before pulling you to stand in a specific spot on the floor, her cold hands wrapped gently around your wrists. “Don't move. This will only take a moment” you were caught so deep in your stupor you hardly noticed the bright blue ray that shot out to scan your body. “Shuri..” you call out softly, unsure of what prompted you to say her name. She turned to look at you like she had been hypnotized; her body seemed to relax as if a large weight had been lifted from her. “To you, she is Queen” a voice rings out from across the room causing both of you to tense up and look away. “If your business here is complete, you should be on your way.” Okoye says lowly. This time you do not debate. You silently pay your respects and turn towards the stairs. “Wait!” Shuri calls before you ascend the stairs. “Yes, my Queen?” she hesitates and places something in your palm and looks up at you.”come back tomorrow so I can finish your suit.” She pulls her hand away, dragging her fingers briefly across your palm.

Hey! I have Lilith 1H conjunct my mars in Virgo. Is this considered a strong aspect? Do I experience bad rs with females? I feel I wasn’t as likeable with females even tho I have Sun conjunct Mercury, Moon/Venus trine my moon and Sun 10H…

before I get into this question, does "rs" mean relationships? Which signs fall in your 7th and 12th house. 7th represents the house of open enemies and the 12th represents the house of hidden enemies, so if you really want to definitively find out how your interaction with females occurs, I'd look for placements and aspects with these two houses.

To answer your first question, Yes this is considered a strong aspect but in terms of it's influence on relationships with females, it's influence is sexual. Maybe you have intuitive placements or aspects because based on everything you've given me, I would immediately assume your concern with females is due to unconscious or even concious jealousy from them. I cannot tell if you're a male or female but as a female, I can tell you that metaphorically, if you were a bird, you'd be the Peacock amongst pigeons. oh this is a great question! and also a perfect opportunity to teach folks about sexual dimorphism.

for those who don't know, sexual dimorphism is the phenomena that the different animals in nature where there are physical differences between the male and female that is not reproductive organs. a common one you may see is either the male or female is larger. this does not apply to all species however!!! sometimes it's the fact one species is more vibrant and colorful compared to the other. (think of peacocks). sometimes it's both. (think of the black widow spider)

for sharks and rays (i am going off of the assumption that yona is a part of the mobulidae family or something adjacent to it considering the fact she's a zora and not um. an actual ray.) i would say yes!!! it depends on the species like i've said. sometimes it's reliant on the fins, or sometimes it's more morphological. as stated by this paper, "Males and females of the same species may respond differently to selective pressures. In the case of elasmobranchs, the differences between males and females include variations in their external reproductive anatomy, body size, dental formula, number and distribution of Ampullae of Lorenzini, and dermal thickness." (If you have the time to or feel intrigued enough, do read it! it has some interesting information regarding this exact subject with sharks)

however, this isn't about sharks, this is about rays! the shape of yona's head is structurally similar to that of a ray. well what do people think about that?

going off of the idea that yona is a ray, what kind is she? she seems to lack the lobes protruding from the front like muzu does, but her design Does have horns. so, i guess it counts? let's take a wild guess and say that yona is some kind of giant manta ray. female giant manta rays have been recorded to have a wingspan of 18.3 to 22.7 ft. on the other hand, male giant manta rays have been recorded to have a wingspan between 17.3 to 20.3 ft. big, but not as big as the females.
