hmm ep 1 louis pulls a knife on his brother but not to worry, he tells us its all for show he wouldnt harm someone he loves. in ep 7 daniel has to beat it out of him but we find out louis is in fact capable of hurting someone he loves. he’s capable of choking them out in a fit of rage but we werent meant to see that! the side of him that always existed, the side that captured lestat’s heart the moment he stepped off the ship. louis de pointe du lac, the dark prince of iberville indeed.

Spent my morning pulling out air potato from a pine rockland forest. It’s so funny because I remember last year when an air potato beetle was on the playground at my job and the kids were fascinated with it and I literally had to research it to teach them about it and now here I am working alongside the air potato beetles 🪲

thinking about how dandelions are the first flowers kids bring their mothers. how they’re just a weed, but in such a small fist, presented with such a proud grin, they become a bouquet. it’s a sweet, thoughtful thing to any mother. 

but imagine it for katniss. who has always connected the flower to life and hope. imagine katniss receiving a handful of dandelions from her child for the first time.
