about buddie, I think we're heading for divorce arc 2.0 turbo mode - where it's Buck's time to ask Eddie if he ever stopped to think about Christopher. and it will be ugly and heartbreaking to watch them fight. and they may not even be on speaking terms when this season ends. maybe Eddie feels such shame for having failed as a father and for disappointing Buck, that he just shuts down and isolates himself, feeling unworthy of forgiveness.
so, I'd love it if in this season (maybe even in the finale) we'd have a parallel with 5x13. Eddie would be sitting on the floor, cell phone in hand, browsing through hundreds of photos he has accumulated of Buck with Chris, and Buck with himself, at work and outside of it. one after the other, happy and funny memories of their time together over the years. maybe in between shots of him looking and the pictures with a terribly sad expression (and Ryan would nail this so hard), we could have little montages of the moments from those photos, a buddie best off, so to speak. and then Eddie just breaks down. he cries and cries and cries, but this time?... this time, he's all alone.
roll credits, enter hiatus.

If you have an f/o that loses many people close to them, imagine them allowing themselves to grieve in front of you. To be held in your arms as their shoulders shake with the force or their crying because they need to let it out or it'll consume them from the inside out. They can be vulnerable with you, they can fall apart with you, knowing you'll help them pick the pieces back up.

My brain just hit an old hyperfixation (is this what it's called? I hope I used the word right) and oh dear am I losing my mind now. I need to write a story I think. About this one old guy. He's unhinged. There's so much information about him and yet not enough. I want to explore his character so much. He's definitely a criminal - at least he was one - and I'm 95% sure he can do actual real magic, and he's a musician and an artist and an actor and a magician and a philosopher and a traveler and a conman and so much more and also I think he's some kind of immortal. Maybe he just has a VERY long life. It's strongly implied he was a pirate at some point of his life. He started a cult by accident several times. My conspiracy theories about him include him being a secret god.
He's also a freaking round blue raven. Someone save me from my mind.

There is just something about Cole’s section of the six virtues of spinjitzu shorts. His virtue is balance. He learns how to find peace when overwhelmed, after years of running away, disassociating, feeling too exposed, feeling invisible and feeling like he had the weight of his team, his parents, the world on his soldiers.
He finally learnt how to balance that weight.

Scrolling through Twitter/X on BUCCHIGIRI?! and man my heart just completely sank at how there are some people being fed up with the series and considering to drop it and such.
But at the same time, I can’t blame them. Because the recent episode just left a bad taste in everyone’s mouth regarding how Arajin acted.
I mean ok. Akutaro manipulated him into joining NG Boys and even offered him the ladies of his nightclub but he has Senya with him. You would think the fight would’ve gone anywhere esp considering that Ichiya has bonded with Akutaro at some point. And yet, Arajin just only cared about getting laid with the ladies as if Matakara didn’t exist hello 😑 and just not caring about a bloody gang war from happening.
And Matakara poor boi. Despite literally witnessing his childhood ‘friend’ saying how they’re not friends just a few distances away to Akutaro, not stepping in for Mata, Mata yelling for Ara to help him when the former is all tied up, only for the latter to walk away with Akutaro, he still kept believing in him that he’s still the same childhood friend from 5 years ago. And I have to be honest, it’s getting kiiinnndaaa unrealistic cuz I have been waiting for my boi to snap at Arajin for his actions, not helped by the fact that there were foreshadowing of it but nope.
He didn’t.
And the episode just left on a cliffhanger with the leader’s fight.

Concept: elf tav who is just under 300, all of her children died as adventurers or guards. Her husband and her became vastly different people in the wake of all the grief. They havent spoken in years, incapable of existing around each other before breaking down. The journey after the crash she keeps seeing shadows her kids in the various party members and as such she desperately wants to help them. Save them in ways she couldn't for her own children. A pillar of love and guidance because her children may be gone, but she will always be a mother.

I am actually Very Concerned now about how they are going to handle the Inquisitor in so many ways, mainly because I do not just want two cookie-cutter attitudes towards Solas... like if your Inquisitor was an f!Lavellan and romanced him are her two settings going to be either Still Pining After All These Years or Woman Scorned and Out for Revenge...?

Minho gets angry when he gets scared
Newt and Alby tried to ease him out of that for years, but living every waking moment in the Maze, that instinctual conversion from terror to fury kept him alive. Kept him moving.
In the Safe Haven, though. With no Grievers or closing Doors? Minho's biggest fear becomes Thomas.
...he could lose him so easily...
Thomas can't seem to convince him that he isn't in the Maze anymore.
