Nico and Reyna should have been a part of the seven. Not Percy and Annabeth.
I am long past the point of being upset about this, but it’s still something I feel is worth talking about.
Percy and Annabeth had their story. They had five books of that story in fact. Their arcs were pretty much completed by that point. Sure, there was room to expand the scraps that were left untouched, and I definitely think they should do that, but to do that there was no need for them to be parts of the seven.
I am aware that this would completely change the narrative of the story, but they can still be parts of the Argo crew
Now, when I say that, I mean that they'd function in a similar way that Nico and Reyna did in the original books
Reyna is a new character and Nico is one that’s far from having been developed to his fullest. Making them parts of the seven would give them more time to shine. Especially Reyna. The dynamics of the characters on this shp would need to shift and change from the beginning!
Like- Think of how this would effect the politics of Camp Jupiter? The fall into Tartarus? The blood of Olympus!?
And honestly I’d love for Percy and Annabeth to be tagging along to the quest, just not as part of the seven.
But of course, the people wanted Percy and Annabeth, and Percy and Annabeth was given too the people. They were even thrown into Tartarus for the people.
Judging from the reaction people had to Jason in The Lost Hero, the reason why Percy and Annabeth were a part of the seven is, of course, very clear, but that doesn’t mean I think a more interesting story could have been told if it had been Reyna and Nico.

We should bring back fun ship names
Lately it feels like all ship names are just the combining of two characters names -which is fine- but I miss when fandoms were more creative with it
Like Loki and Darcy Lewis = TaserTricks or Harry Potter and Hermione Granger = Harmony
And don't even get me started on some of the stupid creative ship names from the RWBY fandom. They'd show you the most cursed/illegal ship in the world then call it something like "Bed of Roses" (ifykyk)
Don't get me wrong here, I'm not saying some of the Name 1/Name 2 one's aren't fun
I personally love "BruTalia" (Bruce Wayne and Talia Al Ghul). Because it's like the word Brutal -duh- which is really fitting for the characters. Or "Caskett" (Richard Castle and Kate Beckett) which is just hilarious for characters in a show where they primarily solve murders. And of course my personal favorite "Pepperony" (Pepper Potts and Tony Stark)
But some of them get boring and I wish we'd bring back the weirdly fandom specific ones

damn. one of my mother's cats was apparently taken by a wild animal.
it's a bit difficult to know how to react - she's one of the people who always acts like we're being overly cautious by not letting our cats outside, but obviously I don't want to say I told you so.
it's sad, this cat couldn't walk properly and only went into the backyard. but it's a huge backyard that is about 50 meters away from fields and not much farther from a forest - and the cats often stay outside overnight. my mother also has chickens and at least 3 of them have been eaten by animals, but she still insists it's totally safe.

We were created to be like men.
But when we laughed like men—when we felt and loved like men—they destroyed us for it.
They made sure we died like men. Hundreds of years later, and I still see us dying that way.
I will not watch you die too.

srry homie for what im boutta do
for the au[other colors] i thought it would be cool to have klugs parents show up for a couple scenes, but for the timeline of the major events i needed them GONE and UNRESPONSIVE.
hes smart so i think, even at a young age, he gets that they're busy with work and all, and he's not alone per say- his friends and teachers and everyone in primp would definitely look out for him, but ive just been thinking. because like, i thought itd be cool if it was almost like strange also helped raise klug. as a (malicious) mentor of sorts. after they made truce (that they both keep breaking)
i imagine klugs parents are probably good people, but are horrible as parents. like they just keep doing their own thing and just let the village raise him.
but then that got me thinking, in this setting, do you think he would unknowingly (or maybe knowingly but trying not to think about it) resent them for not being there for him growing up?
