His heart burst with flutters and with love despite being so surprised at her sudden move. His cheeks and ears are flushed in hues of red. She didn’t say much but the kiss told him she is happy and grateful for his lovely gift.

I like thrifting and antiquing videos because y’know, I’m an antique collector. I just watched a video of a woman cover a black glass art deco vase with MATTE WHITE SPRAY PAINT. I’m tearing my hair out. Even though she didn’t show us the makers mark or anything I’m fairly sure it was authentic, if it was a replica then it was a beautiful piece on its own. I hate DIYers so much like I get needing to repair or refurbish pieces that are in poor condition but in what world is it more economical, practical or satisfying to spray paint an 80 year old glass vase than to buy the stupid $12 Home Goods ceramic porcelain vase you wanted in the first place. Black glass is so fucking beautiful. This generation’s obsession with beiges and earth tones and matte textures has me biting and writhing and foaming at the mouth.

In my DnD group, I'm the one who writes down a summary after each session so we can look up things easily (also trying to build kind of a wiki; it's coming along nicely). I know that our DM uses those summaries for our session recaps and at least some other members are reading through them as well.

So.

I have started to include one random line about a horse named Neil in each of those summaries and so far, nobody has called me out on it. (Neil is not a character in our campaign. Nobody knows a horse named Neil. Neil has no business being there. Neil always shows up in the summary.)

So far, Neil is mostly hiding behind pillars and watching our party from the sidelines, but this time I had him take a picture for his dungeon blog.
