New Creations in Christ
This means that our knowledge of men can no longer be based on their outward lives (indeed, even though we knew Christ as a man we do not know him like that any longer). For if a man is in Christ he becomes a new person altogether—the past is finished and gone, everything has become fresh and new. All this is God’s doing, for he has reconciled us to himself through Jesus Christ; and he has made us agents of the reconciliation. God was in Christ personally reconciling the world to himself—not counting their sins against them—and has commissioned us with the message of reconciliation. We are now Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were appealing direct to you through us. As his personal representatives we say, “Make your peace with God.” For God caused Christ, who himself knew nothing of sin, actually to be sin for our sakes, so that in Christ we might be made good with the goodness of God. — 2 Corinthians 5:17-21 | J.B. To Abide in the Lord is to be One Spirit with Him and Live in the Mingled Spirit
To abide in the Lord is to be one spirit with Him; the focus of God’s economy is the mingled spirit – the divine Spirit mingled with our human spirit; we need to be one spirit with the Lord and live in our mingled spirit so that we may abide in the Lord all the time. Amen! As believers in Christ, we are not just those who believe what the Bible says; we are grafted into Christ. The Lord Jesus…

After a year of practicing the Sabbath, I feel like I am finally starting to get it.
God has been talking to me all week about what it means to rest in Him, to abide in him. To be Mary sitting at His feet.
A big part of it is understanding that we are loved by the creator of the universe. God did not come down in the form of man in Christ to never speak to us, to never spend time with us. Of course He longs for relationship with us. It's why he came to save us.
Its one of those things that you know, but you don't know.
When you start to know, to really know, things change. Priorities shift.
One of the voices God has spoken through this week was The Kingdom Vision Podcast which I highly recommend.
It was lining up with what I was reading in the word and then instagram stories and tumblr posts started touching on the same things.
What an incredible thing to be loved by God. To be loved so deeply. So unconditionally.

Trusting God’s Provision: Resting in His Promises
As Christians, we can depend on the Lord to provide for our daily needs. Abraham knew this to be true and said of Yahweh, “The LORD Will Provide” (Gen 22:14). And Paul wrote, “God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that always having all sufficiency in everything, you may have an abundance for every good deed” (2 Cor 9:8), and “God will supply all your needs according to His riches in…

Abiding in Christ
Photo by Kelly on Pexels.com “There is a vast difference between visiting somewhere and abiding there. When you visit, it’s a purposeful short-term stopover, but to abide means to move in, remain, and stay regardless of difficulty or trial. And this is certainly true in our spiritual lives — do we abide in Christ or do we merely show up for a short visit? Jesus Christ is meant to be the center…

Of Abiding, Growth and Fruitfulness
God wants us to bear the lasting fruit he has placed within us. But this does not require our effort to bear fruit, it requires only that we remain in Jesus, pay attention to his words, and let him work through us by loving one another.
In John 15, in six verses or fragments of verses that are often quoted as isolated proof-texts, Jesus appears to say that his true disciples may be identified by looking for their “fruit” and also to warn that those who don’t produce the expected “fruit” will be discarded and “burned:” I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.  Every branch in me that doesn’t bear fruit, he takes away… I…

“I implore you, brethren, never to break or despise the rule of this prayer: A Christian when he eats, drinks, walks, sits, travels or does any other thing must continually cry: ‘Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy upon me.’ So that the name of the Lord Jesus descending into the depths of the heart, should subdue the serpent ruling over the inner pastures and bring life and salvation to the soul. He should always live with the name of the Lord Jesus, so that the heart swallows the Lord and the Lord the heart, and the two become one. And again: do not estrange your heart from God, but abide in Him, and always guard your heart by remembering our Lord Jesus Christ, until the name of the Lord becomes rooted in the heart and it ceases to think anything else.”

Happy Halloween! Trick or treat?
Hee hoo thanks for the ask, anon! Happy Halloween :3 A silly supernatural jaytim 3 sentence paragraph (lol) fic for you:
"For the last time, I am not getting in the damn coffin with you," Jason huffs.
Tim leans out over the polished wood and satin lining, his fangs flashing as he pouts, winding his arms lazily around Jason's neck and burying his fingertips in Jason's hair-- because he's a dirty cheater and he knows that Jason's willpower is brittle as old bone this close to the full moon. He resolves to stay strong, because if you give Tim an inch then he'll take the whole damn continent.
"You don't have to, I suppose," Tim sighs, red eyes flashing from under his eyelashes. "I'll just be here...cold. Lonely. Wanting." He breathes the words against Jason's lips, and Jason whines. Christ. The things he does for this bloodsucker.

Remain In Him
But the anointing that you received from him abides in you, and you have no need that anyone should teach you. But as his anointing teaches you about everything, and is true, and is no lie—just as it has taught you, abide in him. — 1 John 2:27 | English Standard Version (ESV) The Holy Bible, English Standard Version. Abide in Christ by Caring for the Teaching of the Anointing to Know the Mind of God
We abide in Christ so that He may abide in us by caring for the inward teaching of the all-inclusive anointing; the anointing anoints God into us so that we may be saturated with God and know the mind of God in all things. Amen! As believers in Christ, we need to realize that, at the time of our believing into the Lord, God attached us to Christ; He grafted us into Christ. We are now in Christ;…

2024 APRIL 01 Easter Monday
"I bless the LORD who counsels me; even in the night my heart exhorts me. I set the LORD ever before me; with Him at my right hand I shall not be disturbed.
Therefore my heart is glad and my soul rejoices, my body, too, abides in confidence because you will not abandon my soul to the netherworld, nor will you suffer your faithful one to undergo corruption.
You will show me the path to life, fullness of joys in your presence, the delights at your right hand forever."
