Suhyeon was completely fooled by [Name]

He was soft, nice and always had a smile across hisr face. The smile that melted the girls, including himself, and the prince charming attitude that he had.

That was his boyfriend.

Managed to take down 5 guys like it was nothing, he just stood there in shock. Suhyeon saw how ruthess and harsh [Name] was fighting his opponents, it honestly shocked and changed his view of his boyfriend. [Name] looked back at Suhyeon with a huge smile and walked up to him. "You're not hurt, are you?" [Name] asked his boyfriend, checking any sign of scratch and bruise on his body. Suhyeon then used his Peek at You card at his boyfriend. Sorry, your level is too low to use this card on this person. Suhyeon's eyes widened at the screen displayed right in front of him, what do you mean his level was too low? He had been upgrading and training stronger, he was able to practically see everyone's in Gangbuk stats. But not on his boyfriend? Just how strong is his boyfriend?! "Suhyeon?" He snapped out of thoughts and looked at his boyfriend who was looking at him worriedly, he coughed and nodded. "Y-Yeah... I'm alright.." Suhyeon said as he felt [Name] fingertips brush against his forehead, Suhyeon view of his boyfriend was completely changed at this point.

[Name] looks soft and weak since he always cowers whenever confrontation occurs, but maybe he just doesn't like fighting. "Sin-Since when did you learn how to fight?" Suhyeon asked as [Name] hummed and thought about it before answering with a huge smile on his face. "From my older brother, Gun." He said as he scratched the back of his head, while looking at Suhyeon nervously. "... A-are you mad...? I mean... I really don't like fighting... and my brother taught me so that I can know self defense... and protect myself.." He said as Suhyeon nodded.

But he wondered on how strong [Name] is, or as well as his older brother "Gun". Suhyeon chuckled nervously and shook his head. "O-Of course not.. don't worry.." He said as [Name] let out a sigh and kissed Suhyeon's cheek. "I just don't like seeing you get pushed around... I know you are the "Head of West Gangbuk High" but... I don't like seeing someone threatening you..." [Name] said. Even though Suhyeon has so many questions, he'll just ask them later but for now. "It's fine... don't worry.. how about we go to that ice cream place?" Suhyeon asked as he watched how fast [Name] face light up and nodded. "Of course!"

Hajun Gu:

"Huh?" "C'mon!! Let's spare Hajun!" Hajun stared at his boyfriend who was smiling happily, he sighed and nodded. "Sure.. but don't blame me when it gets too rough." Hajun said as [Name] laughed and shook his head. "Don't worry, I can handle it." Those words echoed inside of Hajun's head as he was laying down on the mat, staring at the ceiling in shock and in disbelief. [Name] crouching down beside him, looking at his boyfriend worriedly. "Hajun? Are you alright?" He asked as he poked Hajun's cheek who just laid there unmoving, stiff as a board. [Name] tilted his head, as he sighed. Before he eventually thought of something.

Chu~

Hajun eyes blinked profusely as he looked at his boyfriend who was smiling at him happily. "Is something wrong? You weren't responding to me.." [Name] asked as he helped Hajun sit up, he sat down on the matt while looking at his boyfriend with curious eyes.

The male was quiet before he looked back at [Name]. "... I didn't know you were cable of fighting..." Hajun said as [Name] tilted his head, looking confused by his words. "What do you mean cable?" "I mean... you looked weak... soft... I thought I should protect you from any dangers.." Hajun truthfully said as [Name] blinked profusely before shaking his head with a chuckle. "Just because I look weak and soft, doesn't mean I'm not able to fight.." [Name] said as Hajun scratched the back of his neck.

Tiny blushes on his cheek. "Yeah... you're right..."

Daniel Park:

"So... you're Gun's brother?" Daniel said as he looked at his boyfriend, sitting down on a crate. Head down and Daniel could see [Name] clenching his fist.

The other Allied crew watched behind, the reveal from Kouji that [Name] was Gun younger brother was a shocker. The group were out for Gun as well as a lot of people, and the fact that [Name] was the man's younger brother changed everything.

But it was also the reason on why [Name] has been avoiding them much more lately ever since Hostel B was taken down and Hostel was now merge into one unit, especially with his boyfriend Daniel.

It worried the group, seeing their dear friend distancing themselves away from them especially Daniel who feels heartbroken.

And the group didn't know if they feel betrayed or just... shock.

But they understand [Name], as well as Daniel. [Name] and Gun were related and Gun probably told him not to engage anymore with them.

"Yeah.." [Name] weakly said, Daniel's eyes softened hearing the weak tone he had. He kneeled down in front of [Name], holding his hand. Brushing his thumb across his knuckles.

He slowly looked at Daniel who looked at him with nothing but love, [Name] bit his lip. "Are... are you mad..?" [Name] asked as Daniel shook his head. "Of course not... I can see why you had to hide it..." Daniel said as [Name] sniffed, the black haired looked and saw tiny tears at [Name] eyes. He wiped them.

"Don't worry... I'm not mad, you're still the boy I had fallen in love after all."

Jaeha Han:

Jaeha was always suspicious of his boyfriend, [Name].

He wasn't dumb, he could see the moments where [Name] true strength was questioned.

He wondered if [Name] was a good fighter and a strong one at that fact, like one of those memes of looking like a cinnamon roll who could actually kill you, kinda thing.

So, Jaeha began to observe his boyfriend whenever he thinks he was alone. It was normal when Jaeha began to stalk [Name], but one day. "Holy shit..." Jaeha muttered as he watched how ruthlessly [Name] destroyed his opponents like it was nothing, Jaeha was following his boyfriend around when he was surrounded by 5 guys, basically going to steal his money.

Of course Jaeha was going to intervene but froze when he saw how [Name] destroyed them in a fight. 1 vs 5, and it seemed nothing to [Name]. The fight basically confirm his suspicions of his boyfriend's strength.

"Jaeha.." The blonde flinched as [Name] turned around and looked at Jaeha with a smile. "My baby!" He said as he ran to Jaeha and hugged him, Jaeha held his hips. It seems like [Name] knew Jaeha was following him.

Born and raised in Gwangju. Jaeha lived a pretty normal life with his parents, who were a pretty young couple when they had him.

While growing up he was an average student, doing well enough in his academics.

A lot of things happened when the time to go to university came, not only was he unsure of what path to follow but his parents discovered they were about to have another baby putting them in a difficult spot economically so Jaeha chose to enlist in his military service during that year to releave some pressure from their shoulders and give himself some time.

Two years away became 7, he found himself enjoying his time there and became part full time of military until one day he injured his shoulder in a mission and it was time to retire.

He wandered lost for months, searching for himself with no job, no studies, it was difficult to meet the months ends. He did everything he knew and even learnt a few things under the way to make some money. midnight gigs with a band, delivery services, anything he could he did until a miracle happened.

2017. A bodyguard gig for a soloist. He took it without much expectations other than a small job to put food on the table for a day...

fastforward: he has been the security for soloist 3 ever since.

The boys were frantic as they readied themselves for their comeback stage at Mnet. One of them in particular was a bit more nervous than the others.

”Jay, are you alright? You’re sweating like… a lot,” noted Seonwoo.

”He’s fine. He’s just nervous to perform in front of Y/n,” Heeseung giggled.

Y/n was a close friend of the boys. She debuted with her group, LIVLY, through BE:LIFT Lab just like them. They had all grown considerably close with her, but Jay more than the others. The members noticed and began teasing him. And surprisingly, their teasing was the reason he began to like her in a different way. When they acknowledged what he himself did not realize, his eyes were opened. 

And now, he was in love. But so was Jungwon. Though not as close with Y/n, he was immediately attracted to her fun and bright personality, as well as her pretty face. 

Even though they were unaware, Jay and Jungwon were in a race to confess their feelings to their mutual friend. Jungwon was one step ahead of Jay, planning to confess today. But Jay’s feelings, were in fact, deeper than Jungwon’s.

”What?” Riki and Jake asked at the same time.

”Isn’t it obvious? He’s in love~” Heeseung said in a sing-song voice. 

“Am not!” Jay rolled his eyes as he carefully ran his hand through his soft black hair.

“Hyung, you never spend more than fifteen minutes on your hair. You’ve been staring at yourself in that mirror for over an hour. I think that’s proof enough,” Riki laughed.

Jay pouted as he let his hand fall from his hair to his lap. He tilted his head to each side, doing a double take over his features. He was undoubtedly very worried about his performance quality, especially in front of Y/n, like Heeseung pointed out. And truth be told, he wasn’t the only one. Jungwon was a nervous wreck too. But frankly, he was better at hiding it from the members than Jay was. 

“Come on! Let’s go!” Yelled the Mnet manager. 

Jay quickly adjusted his letter jacket and face mic before heading to the stage with the rest of the members. Jungwon also fixed a stray strand of hair before following.

Y/n gasped before playfully shoving her group mate, Aya, in the shoulder. “I do not like him! Who gave you that misinformation?”

”Nobody. Just the way you look at him. You’ve practically got stars in your eyes,” Aya teased.

”Are you for real Y/n? You literally drool at the sight of him,” added Kaori. 

“Shut up,” Y/n rolled her eyes.

Kaori smirked before leaning over to whisper something into Aya’s ear. “Well, she didn’t deny it.”

Cheers were heard as the boys made their way onto the stage. Y/n cheered the loudest out of her members, clearly not helping prove her case. The rest of the members, Jaeha, Nora, and Katie, were situated a bit far from Y/n, but they could tell she was looking at one person and one person only: Jay. 

The boys got into position. As Jay got into his spot, he glanced at Y/n, only to find her looking at him as well. He gave her a quick smile before they began performing their song, Future Perfect. And while the gesture was simple and friendly, it gave her butterflies like crazy. She was very grateful to have a friend like Jay. But how long could she keep her feelings contained? 

If Y/n’s attention had been on Jungwon, she would’ve seen how many times Jungwon looked at her. But her eyes were elsewhere. And Jungwon noticed. He silently promised himself he’d confess to her before the day’s end. 

Cheers were heard as the boys finished their performance. Y/n and her members cheered enthusiastically and clapped, standing from their seats. The boys bowed and waved before exiting the stage. The girls quickly went backstage and cheered again once they met the boys there.

”You guys were amazing!” Katie screamed, hugging Riki from behind. Not only was Y/n close with the boys, but also her members. The two were rookie groups in the same year, in the same entertainment company. Of course they grew close. Very close. “Our maknae did amazing,” she smiled, tickling Riki’s sides.

”Hey!” Riki exclaimed, wiggling out of Katie’s hold.

Out of both groups, the order of oldest to youngest went Heeseung, Jay, Kaori, Jake, Sunghoon, Aya, Y/n, Seonwoo, Katie, Jungwon, Jaeha, Nora, and Riki. So since Riki was the youngest, it was only fair for him to get teased like a child. In the most playful way of course.

”What about me?” Seonwoo pouted. “Did I do great?”

”Of course you did!” Kaori ruffled Seonwoo’s hair. “You all did great.”

”Thanks Kay,” Heeseung smiled. “You know, you’re up next girls.”

”Don’t remind me,” Nora sighed. She wasn’t too fond of live performances. She had major stage fright. 

“Aww is our little Nora scared?” Riki teased.

”Don’t ‘little Nora’ me! I’m older than you dummy,” Nora seethed, with a hidden smile.

”I don’t see the issue, we’re three months apart,” Riki shrugged.

”Alright you two, enough,” Y/n chuckled. “Let’s get ready, yeah?”

“Yeah. Let’s go,” Aya beckoned as her and Y/n made their way to the dressing room.

As Y/n was about to enter the room, she felt a hand grab her arm.

”Uh, Y/n?” The person, Jungwon, asked.

”Yeah Wonnie?” She tilted her head with a smile. 

“I uh,” he looked at the rest of the girls getting their makeup done. “I’ll tell you later. You have to get ready.”

”Okay,” she shrugged, going to get her makeup done as well. Not like the girls didn’t already have their makeup done, they just needed touchups before they were the ones on stage. 

Just like the girls, the boys screamed when the girls entered onto the stage. It was laughable, how they forced their voices to go two octaves higher than normal, trying to imitate their friends. But nonetheless, the girls had their serious faces on. It was more of a dark concept comeback anyways. 

With every dance break and high note, the boys cheered, one might say even louder than the girls did for them. Definitely something to be said for enthusiasm. 

The girls finished after about three minutes, and again, they met with the boys backstage.

”Our Katie did such a great job!” Said Riki, imitating Katie from earlier.

”Don’t even,” Katie warned, hating people tickling her.

Y/n laughed with her members and the boys as they complimented the girls and laughed together, but she began to zone out. She was snapped out of her trance when she felt arms around her waist. “You did well Y/n,” said Jungwon, whispering it into her ear. Despite what Jungwon really meant by it, it sent shivers down her spine. She mumbled an excuse before removing herself from his hold. In her head, it felt like betraying Jay, even though that wasn’t the case. They weren’t together, and she didn’t even know for sure if Jungwon was trying to flirt or not.

”I need some air, I’ll be back,” Y/n waved to everyone before leaving to the roof of the building. 

She sighed as she laid on the concrete of the roof. It was peaceful to be alone and look up into the stars. Until, it isn’t so peaceful.

”Y/n?” Came Jungwon’s voice, followed by soft footsteps. “Can I talk to you?”

Y/n propped herself up on her arms. “Yeah.”

Jungwon took a seat beside Y/n. “I uh… how do I put this,” he sighed, finding a little stone to play with as he tried to formulate coherent sentences. He looked over to Y/n as she listened intently. “I like you. Like… not in a friend way. And I’ve been hiding my feelings for too long. It’s fine if you don’t feel the same I just… thought it was unfair to keep you in the shadows. I had to let you know,” he explained, making Y/n’s heart drop. What would she even say?

”Uh… Jungwon… to be honest with you, I like someone else… I’m sorry,” she said, voice barely above a whisper. She felt horrible. 

“Don’t apologize,” he smiled sadly. “I knew it was a long shot. Besides, I bet you’ll make whoever you like very happy. Mind if I ask who it is?”

Y/n smiled to herself. “Jay.”

”Thought so,” Jungwon laughed.

”Thought so?”

”Yeah. Everyone sees how you look at him. I actually expected you to say that you felt that for him. I’m not surprised.”

”Wow. I can’t hide my feelings huh.”

”Yeah…”

”I still am really sorry Wonnie. Can we still be friends?” She asked.

”Of course we can. You’ll always be my friend.”

”Thanks for understanding Jungwon,” she smiled, placing her hand atop his before standing up. “I need to find Jay.”

”He’s back at the dorms.”

”By himself?”

”Yeah, he said he was tired. But I know he was lying. You should go to him.”

”I think I will. Bye Wonnie.”

”Bye Y/n.” 

Y/n quickly made her way downstairs and made her way back to the dorms on foot. It was only about ten minutes of walking, and they lived in the nice part of town, so being abducted was the least of her worries. 

In no time, she was standing in front of the boys’ dorm. She softly knocked on the wooden door. When she didn’t get a response, she slowly opened the door. “Jay? Are you here?” She asked into the air, glancing around the messy dorm. 

“In here,” came Jay’s voice from the living room. 

She quickly walked over to the living room. When she locked eyes with Jay as he stood up, she looked to the floor, a bit shy. “Hey.” 

“Hey.”

The both stood in a comfortable, yet awkward silence. 

“I have something to tell- no you go-“ they said in unison, as they burst out laughing.

”Really, you go first,” ushered Y/n.

”Alright,” he took a deep breath and sighed. “You might think I’m crazy for saying it as it is like this but… I’m in love with you, Y/n. I’ve been in love with you for the past couple months. When we met two years ago, I thought you were the coolest person. You were so caring and considerate towards me, I instantly knew I wanted to be your friend. But recently, I couldn’t figure out why I found myself missing you more and more everyday. I found myself looking at you more and more. I didn’t know why I felt this weird feeling every time I saw you. It was painful, but also, a wonderful feeling. And when Heeseung brought it to my attention that I might just be falling in love, I concluded, that was just it. And now it all makes sense. I love you. I know it’s crazy, and I’ve been hiding my feelings this whole time but-“

Jay was abruptly cut off by warm, soft lips on his. And without hesitation, he brought his hand under her chin, kissing her deeply. He smiled, feeling her hands in his hair, as he put one of his around her waist. To him, she tasted like a warm vanilla cookie and some hot chocolate. Like a cozy night by the fireplace. A taste he would never forget. A taste he would always love. 

Jay was left wanting more as Y/n slowly pulled away. “I love you too, dummy,” she laughed. “Thought you would’ve caught on by now. You’re slow.”

”Guess I am,” he giggled, wrapping his arms around her in a warm hug. “So, what do I call you now? Angel? Princess? Baby?” He smiled to himself.

”Anything you want, love,” she smirked.

”Love?” Jay pulled away to look into her eyes.

”You don’t like it?”

”No I love it, angel,” he giggled, touching the tip of her nose with his index finger.

”I could get used to this.”

would love to hear abt the akayona skate au!!!!

yay!! i started working on it after i noticed the absolutely Tragique lack of skateboarding in the sports romance genre (seriously why is GOLF ROMANCE a thing but not skateboarding??? i feel like i’m going insane) and it’s a modern au set in 2000s kohka (it could also double as a reincarnation au, i’m leaving that intentionally vague teehee). the basic premise is that hak invites yona to the skatepark, partially in an attempt to cheer her up after the (very suspicious) death of her father and partially bc he’s scared of smth happening to her bc, again, her father’s death was Very Suspicious, and she’s immediately like “whoa :0 i wanna do that too!!” so he ends up teaching her how to skate. and meanwhile, jaeha’s trying to play matchmaker bc witnessing their whole will-they-won’t-they is making him want to eat glass ghcksjd and through a funny little series of events (which may or may not involve hak getting revenge for all the meddling) he ends up “fake” dating gija to help him get out of the seemingly endless dates his granny keeps setting up for him. it’s mostly a silly little romcom (ignore the murder mystery family drama happening in the background) <3

also i just think that everyone’s fighting styles translate SO well into skating so here’s my notes for that too :3 (obligatory i am not a skater i just think they’re neat disclaimer! also i’m gonna be using street and vert to differentiate their styles but technically since they spend most of their time in a skatepark their styles would all fall under park skating which includes both)

yona’s just starting out so she mostly does basic street-style tricks and she WILL spend a week on a single trick if that’s what it takes to land it! also she wants to try vert skating so so so bad bc it looks so cool!!

hak is a freak of nature (affectionate) who can do any trick easily but in the fic he’s mostly seen skating street bc he’s teaching yona (and bc he’s a sap who wants to spend more time with her)

jaeha vert king, icon and legend <3 he can technically skate street too but why would he do that when there’s a halfpipe nearby beckoning to him with her sweet sweet siren song

gija mostly skates street and should NOT be attempting vert with his tendency to overexert himself to the point of passing out but that’s not gonna stop him!!! also he puts 10000% into every trick and cannot stick a landing quietly

sinha skates street and his tricks are all very clean and quiet. he probably could do vert but then everyone would be paying more attention to him so he’s not gonna even attempt it thank u very much!

zeno is exactly like the guy i once saw wipe out down a longass flight of stairs and then promptly get up like that didn’t just happen

yun doesn’t skate. he’s there to keep everyone alive.

Son of a former A-list actress in South Korea and a chaebol, now CEO of Park enterprises, the family company known as one of the best in the technology department. Born straight into a world of luxury, Jaeha was never expected to work a single day in his life and while growing up he found himself with loads of freedom to do as he pleased, to let his curiousity win the best of him and try out anything he wished to do, from taekwondo to box, from learning to play an instrument to going to any concert he wanted, Jaeha had everything and anything he wanted on the palm of his hand as long as he asked for it.

It was during highschool that Jaeha had his first crash with reality. Back in those days he had found what really interested him, music. The young boy found himself wanting to develop himself in the musical field and not just as playing the violin like his mother had suggested, no, he he wanted so much more than that. His father didn't approve and non of his money could be used to buy the instruments he wanted, he learnt that lesson quickly when his father found him with a keyboard he had just bought and was quick to throw away, so he began working on a small cafe to pay for his own things.

Jaeha worked from the bottom to the top on the music industry, slowly making a name for himself with talent and a bit of luck in his own words. Now he found succes as a producer under the alias of Namu and still a worker of that little cafe he had worked on since his teens, too fond of the place and the old owner to give it up now. Though time was good with him, it wasn't so much with his family...rumor says that they were on the verge of bankruptcy due to his own father's debts, the former CEO had a problem with gambling since his teen days and that problem finally caught up to him. Some even came to scam those around him in a desperate attempt to pay off his debts only to make them bigger instead.

In 2013, a group of jazz players and Korean traditional musicians started to play jam sessions based on traditional Korean folk melodies and shamanistic rhythms, eventually forming SE:UM. The eclectic quintet is composed of saxophonist Hachul Song, trumpeter Jongsang Park, bassist Jaeha Lee, traditional percussionist Minhyeong Lee, and gayageum (twelve-stringed Korean zither) player and music director, Joon Lee. The members of SE:UM have learned to respect one another’s musicalities over the years, and succeeded in breaking down the borders between their musical conventions, finding balance and harmony in their own music.

In 2015 SE:UM’s debut album was nominated for Best Crossover Album and Best Jazz & Crossover Performance at the Korea Music Awards. They were also selected as a Choice Artist by the two biggest international performing arts markets in Korea, PAMS and APaMM. In the same year, SE:UM made a splash at Edinburgh Fringe Festival, receiving the highest five-star review. Since then, SE:UM has performed around the world from the UAE to the US, and expanded its musical boundaries collaborating with ever diverse partners.

On this tour they will perform a concert titled “Korean Breath: Ten Thousand Waves” which includes music from their most recent album, Ten Thousand Waves. Recorded during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the album is based on the Korean folktale about the legendary bamboo pipe that saved the perilous world.

Boycold's music is a lot more jazzy and R&b-ish on this Daft Love album than I expected from his SMTM8 songs. He's an artist I don't know all that much about but I'm interested in learning more about him. I should probably delve into his older stuff when I have a chance.

random question but do you have any thoughts to share about remakes of older korean songs? some that come to mind for me are dahye's poison, txt's fairy of shampoo, big naughty's girl at the coffee shop (remake of tobacco shop lady)... personally I have no attachment to the original songs (although it's nice to discover new music this way) so I was wondering what your perspective may be (also are there any songs you'd like to see given a new spin?)

and i can't find the post i made but lee sunhee said that she feels like her songs aren't alive until someone else sings them too and that's a very good explanation of korean music and remakes. covers being made means the songs are still alive and it's a very specific artform for a performer to be good at selecting a song to cover and reinvent.

i love remakes and i love remake albums especially! girls generation by snsd is possibly the best kpop remake of all time i can't believe a man wrote that song. and there's a lot of remakes that r so good people associate the song with the second artist more than the first. brown eyed girls' entire revive album was amazing. i think my faves r a common love story (yoon sang) and sorrow (g.o.d). i love iu's flower bookmark albums. be natural by red velvet being an s.e.s. remake was very unexpected it was my fave besides automatic in the early reve days. sunset glow by big bang is unfortunately still iconic. and epik high's eyes nose lips iconic. all of ohhyuk's remakes.

What distinguishes Daytona Ent from other labels is that they do not want to present themselves as a group or a team, but rather focus on each artist’s individual talents and colors. There will be no group activities like concerts or Dingo Freestyle contents. The reason for this is that artists in labels that do have joint activities, the artists might feel pressured to have to act they like are closer than they actually are.

(In my opinion, that’s a good thing, because the artists can just focus on their music and pick their collaborating artists more freely. I think for Ambition Musik members, it is/was a bit of a struggle how most of them are introverts who only meet few very close friends regularly, but fans expect them to present a happy family, and The Quiett wanted to avoid that pressure for his artists this time.)

The latest update was that two artists who joined the military together will be signed, and it was rumored to be either Skinny Brown and TOIL or Skinny Brown and Jayci yucca, but now only Skinny Brown was revealed, so there might be another artist revealed soon! So far, it’s been about one artist every month, so it might not be too long...

Some of my personal guesses for possible new artists with reasons (I might be wrong but guessing is fun). (As we can see, Daytona artists are all already well-established underground artists who have been making music on their own and not super young (25yo and older), they are not kids who still need to be raised/guided a lot, and that’s the main characteristic I’ll be going with):

TOIL or Jayci yucca, because the article said so :D But for TOIL I thought it’s not so likely because 1) The Q doesn’t like signing producers lol and 2) TOIL has been loving the money, and he won’t have to share that if he stays independent IF IT ISN’T (plot twist) money he got from getting signed haha. For Jayci I’m not sure, he seemed fine releasing tons of albums and MVs independently, but maybe he wouldn’t oppose to signing either. I haven’t seen him working or being in contact with either of the CEOs though.

GI$T/GIST - he’s been around for a while, The Quiett LOVES him and always masters his albums (like he used to for Leella wink wink; GIST is also known as one of The Q’s sons). Gist is very talented at singwriting, singing and rapping (even though he seems to prefer not to rap anymore lately). He’s young but he’s got it all. He has worked with some of the other members before, too. And for a long time, he was rumored most likely to be the next artist to get signed to Ambition.

JAEHA - same actually with the singing and talent, haha. He’s only 17 but a melody genius and people are starting to realize it. He released 2 albums all by himself already and expressed in an interview that all the attention is already too much for him to handle. Now that he’s on HSR, that attention and pressure will even increase, so it would be nice to see him in a label where people take care of things like selling and shipping physical albums, contacting distributors, managing promotions etc, so he can focus on music and school. He might be too young or early in his career, though - it might be a bit weird to get signed (and therefore being on the same level so quickly) to the same label as Futuristic Swaver who is like his role model and mentor, so they might opt against him.

Ourealgoat - what can I say, he’s been working his butt off in 2020 and 2021. He only started rapping in 2018 while he was in the military, then learned producing because beats are expensive, and has been releasing album after album since late 2019. His unique rap style and thoughtful lyrics got him recognized by The Quiett and Yumdda as well as Groovyroom and Jay Park, in my imagination they are fighting over him :D I think he is a candidate for AREA too, but I’d prefer seeing him in Daytona. Even though he fits the ��clean”, “good boy” vibe that h1ghr is giving off to me, I think in Daytona he will have more freedom (for example in staying close with his crew, keeping on working primarily with them if the wants that).

Kid Wine. He, too, has been around for a LONG time, is close with Wayside (who have members in both Ambition and Daytona - just look at his album features: they’re almost all wysd members or ppl VERY close to them like D-Hack and Yongyong - and also The Q himself). He’s also known to be one of The Quiett’s “sons” and he’s a producer, rapper, and singer, one of those multi-talented people. He produced Fadeaway, one of last year’s top hits.

ChaMane. Actually, I don’t know him well, I only discovered him quite recently. I found him on a list for The Q’s sons so that’s why he’s here :D He was on Raphouse on Air recently and has worked with Kid Wine and GIST, and The Q too but that’s a while ago.

- I don’t really know where to look for KHH rumors in Korean, and there is nothing in English, so maybe I’m overseeing some obvious candidates. These are just some of my faves who I happened to have been following closely enough to make these kind of connections :D If anyone wants to discuss, please do!
