Their designs are either the same over sexualized body type with the same face or a caricature. Their clothing always follows the same weird style and most of the time teams only have one of them. And sometimes they just get the shit end of the stick (Tashigi is my best example)
But like
I adore these girls. They’re always so different and varied in personality and motivations. They always have a point in the plot only they could solve and are doing everything they can for what they care about. Hell, Vivi fighting tooth and nail and clenching on for her country is what hooked me on One piece in the first place
All of these female characters are different and surprise me from what I expected. The abuse Chiffon and Pudding went through from their mother, Rebecca and Violas attempts to get back their country, Otohime’s exhaustion from trying to make things better, the implied horrors Boa and her sisters have gone through.
And of course, Nami and Robin. Two women who are the cornerstones of One pieces best arcs because they were given the moment to shine
Being a certified "andor" freak and cello enjoyer, the soundtrack is obviously one of my favorites of all time. It's such a departure from the classic, brassy, triumphant star wars sound and that on its own is interesting enough. But there's something about "andor" as a love letter to the ones we don't remember: the Brassos and the Jezzis and the Kino Loys of the world, who won't get any medals or memorials but whose acts of resistance are just as meaningful. "andor" looks us in the eye and says forget about luke blowing up the death star for a moment. look at wilmon paak and his homemade bomb. and there's something about the cello uniquely encompassing the human vocal range, from a bass's lowest note to a soprano's highest. and there's something about the two together that makes me go insane
actually i will complain about this. raine whispers is NOT a violinist. exhibit a.
it's obviously the alto clef. like look at that picture and tell me that's not the alto clef. they play a stringed instrument that could be either a violin or a viola based on what we can see, right? so that means that with this information it's obvious that if they're playing a string instrument and have music with an alto clef, they're a violist.
just please. let me have this one thing. pretty please.
Streamer Phantom who grinds on Stardew Valley and proceeds to drop trauma hints during character conversations. His chat goes wild every time he says 'Yeah, my parents used to do that a lot, lol' or when 'Y'know my sister says I'm therapy bait. Don't know what that means, she's just sooo weird sometimes' Or something of that sort. So, yes, what I’m trying to say is that no, Batman does not adopt him. Instead a bunch of strangers on the internet try to raise a ghost child and tell him that his parents were kinda trash through Twitch lingo such as ‘not poggers’ and ‘f’’s in the chat, expanded by the use of custom made Phantom stickers, one with ‘Booooo!’ is used frequently for this.
And then there’s Streamer Danny Fenton who plays Kingdom Hearts. Chat loves it when he quits in rage due to the mechanics or when he just points to the characters in the game in a ‘are u seeing this shit rn?’ way. One day, he says this: “I got permission from my parents for streaming of course, I just don’t think they remember that I am.”. This leads to more and more Danny venting. Which lead to some revelations from his community, specifically from those who watch both Phantom and Fenton.
This, of course, leads chat, a bunch of strangers who knows from where to believe that, oh no, Phantom and Danny are brothers. There were other ludicrous theories such as them both being the same person, which made little sense since they both had different hair colors and clothing styles. Of course, they both streamed at different times, they both probably share the same streaming device because of their parents. And don’t you see how helpless Danny looks every time he talks about Phantom, something must be going on.
This invites chat to investigate about Amity Park and to their horror realize that the Fentons chase their son for sport.
