Isn't a writer question but was curious; How does wenclair different from other ships you've enjoyed?

Is it solely due to having been a lifelong Wednesday Addams fan, or is it specifically the Netflix's Addams world that you find intriguing?

I ask mainly because I recall you once saying that your wenclair comics--specifically the Next Gen Au I believe--are written and made with a lot of intention in regards to dialog and the discussions had between characters.

Is this due to a greater insight into the characters or simply a mark of growth in writing comprehension?

I like to think I put as much thought in all ships I've been hyperfixated on tbh. Wenclair isn't even the one I've been obsessed with the longest. So far it's actually Trimberly, for which and I was hyperfixated with for like 3 years.

But yeah ok I get ur point lol The intensity this time feels different, I suppose.

I think it's a mix of both being a long time Wednesday Addams fan and how cute of a ship Wenclair is both in concept and the canon execution of their dynamics.

As some of you are aware, I've been a fan of The Addams for a while now. All incarnations of them are great in their own way, but one of the many reasons why the animated 2019 movie is my favorite is because it didn't give Wednesday a bland ass male love interest. I don't think the B/W series did it(because Wed was like six in that) but the 90's movies, musical, and netflix series for some reason found it necessary to give Wednesday male love interests so painfully boring and i hate it. This isn't even about making Wednesday attracted to boys. I personally headcanon her bi, as the ol' stereotype that all grumpy/angsty female characters must be lesbian isn't my cup of tea, and also because I like to think all Addamses just don't give a shit about gender when it comes to romance. I woulda been fine with her getting a boyfriend so long as they're not boring af and goddddd canon incarnations still haven't delivered. Joel was sweet but he was too much of a wimp, not even Gomez is that pathetic. Lucas' thing with Wednesday was just portrayed in such an icky way in the musical that I couldn't finish watching by the time their sexually charged duet came on, and don't even get me started on the boys Netflix gave her. I expected better of Gough and Millar...(unless the blandness was on purpose like it was with Lana Lang--)

Anyways, because of all said canon love interests, I've been desperate for Wednesday to have a love interest that is both not painfully het or boring for once. Crossover shipping with Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice the Musical was fun but was ultimately a very niche fandom. I could only draw and write for an audience of twenty or so people for so long. Parker from the animated movie would've been great, but the cop out with her mom dating Fester just made it too weird for me to be fully on board with the ship.

So when Enid Sinclair was introduced as a character I was absolutely ecstatic. On paper alone she already seemed great. She has a very distinct appearance (even if her "design" was inspired by Harlequin and it shows) that goes so well when she stands next to Wednesday, whether it's in the actual show, fan arts, or even in official merch. Her being Wednesday's complete opposite in so many ways makes her being paired with Wednesday so dang interesting too.

And I don't just mean aesthetic or personality wise. I'm talking about how one of Wednesday's struggle stems from having too much smothering love from her family as someone who gets overwhelmed too easily, and Enid's loneliness and insecurity coming from her own family's lack of love and attention where it matters most. Or how Wednesday's just girl who, deep inside worries about being an actual cruel monster like the very bigots she hates, while Enid is a supposed beast who resents herself for only being a scared little girl. Even the fact that Wednesday is an older sister to a soft-hearted younger brother while Enid is the youngest daughter to a bunch of rough-housing older brothers feels very on purpose.

Everything about Enid feels deliberate. Like she IS supposed to be paired with Wednesday, platonically or romantically. She's the best person to stand beside Wednesday as a character because they have enough differences and similarities to have interesting conflicts but also significant character growths sparked by each other. She's not bland or boring like the canon love interests because even without her attachment to Wednesday, Enid is still such a compelling character. The mere fact that she's as popular as she is despite an eight-episode series being her debut in a franchise that's been iconic to generations is already pretty amazing, and only a character as impressive deserves to smooch somebody as iconic as Wednesday Addams.

And their on screen chemistry is just *chef's kiss*

2. Which of your WIP’s is currently the longest?

Definitely Super Six and the Sirens Call. Currently at 48K but over the next two months I think a few of my other multichaps will also match it for length.

3. Which WIP do you expect will end up the longest

The Firstprince Files. The outline for it is 37 chapters long and the first two chapters that are written are clocking in at about 13K right now.

4. Which WIP is your favorite to write/the most enjoyable to write? Why?

Going to go for broke here ~ my co-writes (Super Six and the Sirens Call w/ @read-and-write- and @happiness-of-the-pursuit, [Switchback] w/ @celaestis1, Watermelon Sugar w/ @heybuddy-drabbles, and S.M.U.T. with @affectionatelyrs) have been a BLAST. The words flow, I'm obsessed with the stories, getting to read others words and then add your own and make good soup will always be fun.

Outside of my cowrites? … hmmmm honestly I am obsessed with mystery and plotting out The Firstprince Files was truly a delight, but I enjoy writing all of my fics otherwise I wouldn’t write them.

5. Which WIP do you find the most intimidating to write? Why?

The Ties That Bond Us. It’s a Bond/Q actor AU and there are already SO MANY great ones (and ones being written), and there is an extensive amount of epistolary writing that comes from different authors of articles and media works that need to have a distinct voice in order for the work to really work. I don’t know if I even have a distinct writing voice let alone if I can wear the masks of a bunch of other voices in a convincing way.

6. Which WIP do you experience the most self-doubt about. Why?

Whichever one is currently being written/focused on/about to be posted? It’s not a one size fits all answer, but at the moment I’m writing this it’s my Halloween Huh fic. It’s done and posted- ready to be revealed. I made myself go read it out loud one last time to hear it back (newsflash I hate doing this but I still do it because it helps) and that just made me doubt everything hahaha.

7. Which of your WIP’s will you seek out a beta/sensitivity reader for? Why?

All of them. I always have a beta, I am incapable of posting a non beta’d work I have too much anxiety about it. The Firstprince Files deals with some much heavier themes so I will likely want a sensitivity reader there for those, and Super Six and the Sirens Call has quite a bit of Spanish in it that we have beta’s checking on.

8. Have any of your WIP’s been struck by the curse of writers block?

Yes this is why I have so many … (joking). Yes and no. I will just power through to write a bad section to have words on the page and then come back to fix them later which helps. I have a focused few WIP's that I work on at a time (small rotation inside the big rotation). The rest of these have an outline and a doc and at least a little bit written, but will not receive heavy work on them until I go through what’s first on my internal fic calendar.

What is in the current small rotation? SSASC, Looking for Orion, Watermelon Sugar, [Switchback}, Minty Fresh, my Mr. BodyPillow follow ups, and The Ties That Bond Us is my Nano project this November.

9. Which WIP has your favorite OC? Tell us about them?

At this moment Watermelon Sugar which is a co-write threesome for Threesgiving with @heybuddy-drabbles. Our third member of the threesome is AMAZING and we love them so much and we are very very excited for them to come into everyone else’s world as well.

10. Which WIP is the sexiest?

This is a toss up between [Switchback], [World Cup AU], Watermelon Sugar, and [Pomodoro Method]. We will see when they are finished what I think really takes the cake there.

11. Which WIP is the angstiest?

I mean chapter two of Looking for Orion, but The Firstprince Files has quite a bit of angst. I don’t really write a lot of heavy angst or I haven’t yet we will see if the reception to LFO changes the tide there.

12. Which WIP has the best characterization (in your humble opinion)?

Looking for Orion at the moment, but I’m really hoping that Mind Over Matter takes that one when I have more written on it.

13. Which WIP has the best scene setting (in your humble opinion)?

Oh my, Super Six and the Sirens Call has quest locations that change in a rotation. Truly I can't tell you more but it is SO FUN truly so fun. The Ties That Bond Us also just is jet-setting movie stars in Bond movie locations, stunt training, doing interviews in wild places, and campaigns in larger than life locations. So that is ridiculously fun to write and I hope it is just as fun to read.

14. Which WIP have you worked the hardest on?

Super Six and the Sirens Call. This work has a promo schedule there is art being made, there are docs linked within docs. When I say this became a big brained thing it’s a big brained thing.

15. Which WIP do you have the highest expectations for? Why?

I try not to ever have expectations, it’s better that way I find ~ but based on reaction and excitement (my irl bookclub today made me promise to send them a link) I would say Super Six and the Sirens Call. Outside of that I just hope that if one person likes it then it is doing it’s job which is to create joy. (but internally we all have those fics that we hope do a little better than others for one reason or another. My Mr. Bodypillow follow ups I hope people enjoy, my two longer Multichapter works I am deeply attached to, and Looking for Orion I am currently a bit obessed with and I hope others get obsessed with it too.)

16. Do you dream about any of your WIP’s?

NO I DONT DREAM BUT @happiness-of-the-pursuit LITERALLY DREAMED ABOUT ONE OF MINE THIS WEEK SO I'M COUNTING IT.

17. Do any of your WIP’s have any particular complexities that your other fics don’t?

[Orchestra AU] is meant to be read at pace with the classical pieces that are titled in the top of the chapter which is fun and funky but is going to make pacing HARD. Because people read at different times. + that posting schedule is supposed to mimic the NYC philharmonic concert series performance schedule.

The Firstprince Files has a lot of real world implications for the characters as it is a suspense mystery novel that requires so much research on realistically how things might work or play out.

The Ties That Bond Us is going to have SO Much coding in it for the media chapters and I am now thinking I’m going to do art for it which rip me I guess (hahaha).

[Switchback] has a lot of POV changes which requires a delicate hand to know when to stop and start a perspective

Mind over Matter and No Laughing Matter are meant to be laugh out loud funny and I’m going to need help with both of them for that … truly

A lot of the one shots I struggle with because I want to give the story enough depth while still not expanding them into multichapter works, which is something I struggle with.

18. Which WIP is the funniest or has the most humor?

Reiterating above, Mind over Matter and No Laughing Matter for sure.

19. Do any of your WIPs contain outside POVs or a deep dive on a character other than the main ship? How are you finding that process?

Super Six and the Siren’s Call DOES and it’s SO FUN. Truly it has been a BLAST To get into the heads of these other characters, and flesh out how they see the main ship as well.

The Ties That Bond Us, every other chapter is an outside POV from the media perspective which as I mentioned earlier creates a lot of work for voice and structure.

20. Tell us one thing we don’t know about one or more of your WIPs.

Hmmm some super fast fun ones

- 14 of the WIP’s on this list are MultiChap works

- 4 of them are co-authored works

- The Firstprince Files has been outlined since February of this year and The Ties That Bond Us has been outlined since March. (They are my oldest outlined works but they are also long works).

- 6 of these works are my FirstPrinceWeek works that I will still publish. I got sick and had an “AO3 author note” standard few weeks which put me behind. I do have one FPW fic published so far.

- Balls to the Wall started after a conversation about how criminal it is that Starbucks doesn’t sell the "Off menu but actually on menu now because it is in the app" Medicine Ball Tea in take home form so you can make it yourself when you are sick.

- All of these are for Firstprince but I now have an IRL who told me TODAY that she wants me to write Tarlos so I better get started on finishing all of these.

- [Rugby Video AU] and Ground(s) Up are both based on TikTok’s that I saw and immediately went "ahhhh yes that’s firstprince."

- All of my Mr. BodyPillow follow up’s will have “Mr.” In the name, and the title of the collection is Mr. Ace Alex, though there is a bit of a push for me to rename it the snerdle collection.

[popcorn] when you were young, which film encapsulated the life you wanted to lead when you were “grown up”?

One of the films I've always been enamored with ever since I was a child is Ponyo. The visuals are so colorful and pretty. I watched it often when I was little, and I've always wanted to live a life that's colorful and bright like the scenes in Ponyo. (●˙꒳˙●)

Of course there was also the classic Disney films that encapsulated the way I hoped to live as a grown-up. It wasn't the true love aspect little Meraki wanted; it was just the magic and the pretty gowns LOL. I wanted to become a princess with the help of a fairy godmother like in Cinderella and I wanted to be able to live in an old castle and talk to talking objects like in Beauty and the Beast. Or become a mermaid or venture through Wonderland!!!! >w< omg but Tangled!!!! That was the film I remember wanting to live when I grew up. A romance built through a journey. The slow burn enemies to lovers aspects... <3

AAAAAAA AND THIS SCENE!!!! THE BOAT SCENE WITH ALL OF THE LANTERNS....... and of course the kingdom dance scene and the scene where the girls braid Rapunzel's hair with flowers.... (๑>ᴗ<๑) I wanted to experience all of it when I grew up!!!!! It was so magical to me.

Fantasia = Fantasy = Imagination = Imagination being SUCH AN IMPORTANT ASPECT OF USING MAGIC in Twisted Wonderland

When it comes to the Player and Grim, I feel like "Fantasia" as a term fits the way we're supposed to get NRC students to cooperate a bit more.

Fantasia, as a film this time, fittingly brings very different animation pieces together in one big beautiful thing with various gorgeous music.

Ramshackle dorm also has a guest room to welcome anyone from other dorms. :)

Fantasia music doesn't have a strict form, which supports Ramshackle dorm being flexible and being to accept other dorms no problem

Fantasia has a perfect villain to represent it like other dorms. Yes I’m bringing up Chernabog in yet another post and you can’t tell me to shut up. 

Since Chernabog doesn't have characterization, he's super flexible in how you can use him.

He wouldn't have trouble leading the villains that represent other dorms, because he's a powerful demon.

The main thing he does in Fantasia is calling upon other supernatural forces+spirits to one place, even. One more point to the whole theme of Ramshackle bringing things together.

Chernabog also perfectly fits the weird.. gender order the TWST main story books have?

this is kinda bizarre but i felt the need to include this still.

Chernabog is referred to as "The Ruler of Monsters" in TWST. THE MAIN RAMSHACKLE'S MAGIC USER IS **DRUMROLL** Grim my beloved, who is a monster.

 Ramshackle's Big Disney Villain representee being a Demon who pretty much summons all the local spirits for a party with fire and dancing plays wonderfully into Grim being a mischievous little monster who brings trouble and lives with ghosts.

Let’s not forget the intro’s battle with Overblot!Grim, who is also a hellish demonic looking thing, and how all the overblot forms of NRC students have at least SOME sort of resemblance to the Disney Villains they represent.

As a sidenote, I still believe Grim himself is also supposed to be Jabberwocky themed. TWST is not a stranger to combining different inspirations in one place, so we don't have to stick to just one inspiration with Grim and Ramshackle either.

Jabberwocky is a monster anyway and Chernabog is the ruler of monsters.

this is a new addition to this post as it has been in my drafts for a while but @/the-fandom-closet pointed out how Chernabog RULES over monsters and MC was referred to as a beast master by Crowley (his own words in EN: "I've never seen anyone bend a monster to their will quite the way you have").

So MC would vaguely connect to Chernabog by ruling over Grim, a monster.

I feel like Chernabog could also connect to MC by being more otherworldly. Chernabog is a more supernatural/otherworldly force compared to the Great Seven, and We/MC are literally from another world.

"I'll just be gone for the weekend, keep an eye on them for me, will ya?" She nodded her head towards Shin, whose jaw dropped in shock.

"You are horrible, do not come home," Shin grumbled, arms crossing over their chest as they pointedly looked away.

"Mhmm, I'll see you in a few days, Kurs'kaded," Sabine pressed her lips to their forehead in lieu of a proper parting kiss. "Bye Nix!" She called on her way out of the door.

The first night, Nix had trotted out of the front door and hadn't bothered Shin once.

The Mercenary rose late every morning, though she'd never had any responsibility with the cat, so when dawn broke and claws found a home in her cheek, she'd put serious thought on if she could go without sex with Sabine. Unfortunately, she decided that even if she could go without, she was finding that despair was not a good look on Sabine, she much preferred the look of physical pain, more specifically, when her teeth were sunken into soft flesh and she was writhing beneath them.

"Would Sabine care if you died if it meant she got a new rug?" They growled, batting his claws away from her face before throwing a pillow over her face. Moments later, the claws found her ankle instead. "Fuck! Alright!" They shot out of bed, throwing blankets and pillows with her. Nix pranced happily to his food bowl, pure self satisfaction in his little swagger. Shin clamped their teeth together, stomping across the floor to pick up the bowl and drop his breakfast kibble into the dish.

When she dropped it back to the floor, kibble spilled out. Nix brushed against her bare legs on his way to eat. "Beast," She snarled, stomping back to the bed to curl up against Sabine's pillow. Sleep would not come no matter how hard she tried, meaning they were left with no choice but to get their day started.

After dressing, Shin moved outdoors, moving to a small field they'd cleared with Sabine the longer they'd stayed. The Force was calm on Lothal, easier to reach out to than the places she'd been used to. It was not often she was here alone, as Sabine would join to move through her katas and lightsaber forms.

Silence hung around her as she went through each phase saberless, breathing slow and eyes half shut as they tuned themselves in to the living Force around them. Dirt scraped under her boots, wildlife moved about their mornings in peace, and Sabine's energy reached out to her across the stars. She could feel her Master in the force too, could feel his serenity and practically see him at his desk, reading another holonovel or an article on beard care. Her bond with Sabine was not yet strong enough to see what she was doing, in part to the Mandalorian's destitution in the Force. Though she knew her moon and the 'Jedi' were strengthening that connection together, they were still committed to helping Sabine grow along the way, including creating spaces in Sabine's home, or in each of their ships where they could meditate together.

After she'd moved through her forms, the blonde set her saber on a flat rock near the edge of the circle, sitting in front of it with their legs crossed. Reaching through the force, the saber hovered above rock, pieces coming apart at her command as she inspected each piece. Orange colored Kyber gleamed from inside the steel and various alloys, spinning as she checked the wear and tear on each component.

Something jumped onto her shoulders, breaking her concentration. Her saber clattered to the rock as claws sank into her shoulders, just under the metal of her pauldrons. A familiar purring sounded too close to her ears as a warm weight settled on the back of her neck, keeping her head craned down and back slouched. "What are you doing?" She hissed as Nix got himself comfortable on top of her.

When her hands raised to forcefully remove him from her neck, he would hiss and bat at her hands, leaving her with no choice in the matter. Nix was allowed to stay so long as he didn't dig his claws in deep enough to ruin her movements as she switched to lightsaber forms.

Standing with the cat on her shoulders, Shin pulled her blade into her hands before igniting the blooded orange blade. Nix meowed in her ear, incessantly butting his head into the back of her own until she reached to awkwardly pet his back leg, calming the annoyingly clingy animal. She much preferred it when he was trying to claw her eyes out.

Form one was easy, not having to move or twist her shoulders too much, though it only grew more difficult to move the more she progressed, bringing her to a full stop in the middle of form three. "You need to get off, small beast," She commanded, head turning to the side to stare at his head resting on their shoulder. He only offered a lazy blink in response, not a twitch of a muscle to get up granted her any freedom. "I will throw you," They warned, baring their teeth at the snoozing cat.

She did not, in fact, throw Nix, instead settling onto the flat boulder her saber had been resting on, leaning back to alter his balance enough for him to fall off. He really stuck into her until the last possible moment, leaving her to drop back into the stone just after he'd unhooked his claws from her robes and flesh, scampering away as her shoulders dropped back.

He did not seem to process that Shin had no intention of spending more time with him, as he leaped from warm stone to drop his entire bodyweight directly onto her stomach. "Oof! What is she feeding you!" She shouted as he pressed his entire bodyweight into each of his paws into her gut.

Their complains fell on deaf ears as biscuits were made into her robes and Nix curled up for another nap. "How would a Mandalorian enjoy something so lazy, all you do is sleep, eat, and steal my woman," She grumbled, propping herself up on her elbows to glare down at him. He made no intentions of moving, leaving Shin stuck underneath him.

The call of the early afternoon sun and the peace on the planet had the blonde's eyes sliding shut, finding themselves taking part in the cat's lazy past time in the comfortable warmth.

The rest of the weekend moved slow, but surprisingly, Shin woke up each morning with less and less scratches, and they'd found something like peace with the little Loth Cat. Nix would wake them up for breakfast, then join her in the field for her exercises. Together, they would nap on their stone until someone's stomach grumbled, after lunch, Shin would retire inside to call with her Master and discuss their own training and plans, with minor updates on Thrawn and Morgan.

The final day of their Sabine-Free weekend was met with Shin and Nix's morning nap being interrupted.

"I found them!" A voice called near the circle. Shin's fingers buried further into the soft fur of the cat on her stomach as they tried to cling onto the whispering call of sleep.

"Oh. My. Maker." Sabine tried stifling her words with a hand over her mouth as she took in the sight of the Mercenary and the Loth Cat napping in the sun together.

"It seems your worries have been in vain, they appear to be getting along quite well," Ahsoka commented, moving around the outside of their circle as Sabine moved directly to the stone to settle on the edge.

Nix's quiet 'mrow' at the disturbance was enough to have Shin blinking their eyes open once more. " 'bine?" They grumbled as they caught the smiling Mandalorian. "What are you smiling at?" Her hands fell from Nix's fur to the warm stone, pushing themselves up until the Loth Cat jumped up, shaking his head as he brushed against Sabine's arm.

"You," The moon answered simply, reaching to cup Shin's face, smiling as the younger woman leaned into her palm. "I see Nix made it through the weekend," Her thumb brushed over one of the healing scratches across their face. "And you made it too," Sitting up fully, Shin glanced back towards Ahsoka, standing a few feet away with her arms crossed over her chest, failing at pretending to study the grass around them.

"Your bastard son has missed you enough to rub up against anyone," She grumbled with a stretch, pretending not to notice when Nix rubbed up against her side. "And he has gotten fur all over my favorite cloak, why does he shed so much, do you not use a deshedding shampoo? You are supposed to be good with hair,"

Sabine chuckled, head shaking as she reached to pet the cat. "None of that meant you could stop touching me, he does not deserve it, lazy beast," Shin reached to remove Sabine's hand from Nix's fur, earning a hiss from him as they moved her hand back to their face. "He does nothing all day, while I was stuck looking after him,"

"Don't worry, Kurs'kaded, I'll make sure you're well compensated, now let's get you out of the sun, you're gonna burn even worse,"

"What?"

"Shin… your entire face is sunburnt," Ahsoka but in, facial markings above her eyes furrowing even as a smile cracked her lips. "Like, really bad,"

"It'll hurt eventually, come on, we've got stuff inside,"

Shin followed Sabine and Ahsoka inside with Nix weaving between their legs. The beginning of their compensation was Sabine spreading the thick gel across their face and neck while Ahsoka kept Nix occupied. The little beast even gave Shin the honor of taking the space on Sabine's lap for the holomovie that night, marking the tentative start to their friendship, for Sabine.

I've seen FTF and I have many things to say, but the first one is who or what is the figure we see when Luz is in the portal. Many people have say that that is a Titan but... Is it possible?

Where is Alador? I don't remember anyone mentioning him (at least Emira and Ed are okey. Well, almost Okey hahaha).

When they go to the memory class (I don't know the name of it): they just leave Luz's memories there. I mean, wouldn't that be like so dangerous? We don't see in any point that they put them again into Luz's head, so I suppose that would play an important role in W&D (?). I think it would be awesome if we get to see Luz's memory lane (although it is kind of impossible, because, yk, time, plot...).

Also, Odalia deserved that, for being a b*tch hahaha.

Oh, and I loved how Camilla threw the bat after kissing it and splashing Kiki's face. That killed me HHAHAHA

I also wonder what happened with the owl beast when it saw the collector. I mean, it was supposed that Eda had controlled it, but no, and then we see in the credits an image of King and Eda out of control. But it also drags my attention that Lilith didn't get out of control when she was near to the collector.

Oh, and I didn't understand the whole scene in the memory class with Hunter, Willow and Gus. I mean, I didn't get it, like: Willow and Gus were trying to make Hunter more comfortable but they fucked it? Or what?

And now Lumity hehehe. I didn't like so much their relation in season 3 (well, in TtT we got to see them dancing in the rain and a whole PowerPoint presentation with photos of them, I can't complain), but in the episodes we didn't get to see so much of them (at least not a proper focus). For example, the cute scene of both talking about palismen in the owl house: it IS so cute, and Amity kisses Luz's head (awww), but then Luz just don't respond to it and it seems like she doesn't want it? It was so rude :'(

Well, and what do you think was that thing that Luz had to tell Amity just before they were interrupted by Kikimora?

Oh, and I also loved how Amity gets Luz out of the portal by the feet hahaha.

I also think that Stringbean likes, like a lot, Amity? I mean, if you see slowly that scene, you can see how the Palisman rubs softly against Amity's cheek. AND THAT IS SO F*CKING CUTE I'M GONNA CRY.

And the whole Boscha - Amity thing. Boscha was behaving like the obsessed -toxic-ex and that made me even laugh.

Overall, the episode was fun and good, although it felt a bit slow. Many say that is because it's not plot centered, but character centered (and, well, ofc it is, they managed to have like a thousand characters on-screen and develope or end their arcs in a proper way -> I mean, when I thought Amity's arc was over like since season 2 episode 2, now we get a whole vision of Amity's change when in detention pit).

And one last comment. Luz's palisman hatches when she is able to figure out what she really wanted (to be understood), but I think that wouldn't make much sense. Let me explain, for the character is absolutely something that would fit, because we've seen how Luz had struggled with the world in general. But for the palisman itself is sth like "?", Because we've seen that, for example, Amity's desire was to make her own path and that's something that takes a long way (I mean, it's not something that can be fulfilled in an instant), but Luz's desire is now fulfiled because her mother has finally understood her (at least that how Luz feels it). Idk if you get me.

There is a Lot going on here so I'm going to answer it all under a read-more :)

1). I mean, it's either a Titan or it's a Titan Trapper. It looks exactly like them, so I can only imagine they'll pop up again in the next episode.

2). I also think we'll see Alador in the next episode. I think he'll probably be okay, but maybe wounded in some regard. I'm honestly just assuming he's a puppet somewhere right now.

3). Yeah, I know what you mean, but honestly I think that's just a detail we'll have to forget about, unless it does somehow come up in the finale (which I doubt will be the case). It is dangerous to leave the photos alone like that, so... maybe after a certain amount of time they automatically disappear without harming the legitimate memories? Something like that.

4). Odalia's still going to be an issue in the finale, though. Mark my words.

5). Camila was PEAK in this episode. "Kikimiki" murdered me.

6). I don't think the Owl Beast likes The Collector at all, which would track, considering what we know of their experiences with one of them, though it wasn't necessarily this Collector. But Lilith's curse is honestly still more manageable than Eda's is, and I don't think she really has an Owl Beast inside her, just a bit of one, which is why she didn't lose it as well.

7). That scene was the culmination of Everyone's issues, but specifically Hunter's and Willow's. Willow was trying to help by showing him a picture of him being happy with Flapjack, Hunter was touched by the gesture and didn't know how to say it, Willow thought that meant she'd messed up, Gus blamed himself for not talking to Hunter earlier, and they just didn't communicate with each other. It's a really well-done scene and it's heartbreaking to watch.

8). I don't think it was rude of Luz, and Amity didn't either. She's hurting, she was damn-near suicidal in Thanks to Them, and Amity's being Peak GF by supporting her, no matter what. As for what she was going to tell her, it was going to be her decision to leave the Boiling Isles.

9). Episode didn't feel slow to me at all! Just different, obviously, and in a good way.

10). I disagree, actually. Sure, in the moment Luz does feel understood by her mother, but that's an eternal goal, especially if she continues on her path in being a witch (and she will). She's always going to be the odd one out whether she's in the Human or the Demon Realm, and now she knows what she can always work toward.

(Or: my mantra in how I write/see him - dark grey w orange/blue morality at points) If he doesn’t look or act absolutely disgusting, like damn man, you look like you smell, I don’t want it. If he doesn’t look like a random sneeze won’t infect/infest you with something, I don’t want it. If he acts like suddenly he forgot how to fight because he got a smidgen of strange/attention, I don’t want it. If he isn’t steamrolling and murdering anything that so much as dares to look him in the eye like a territorial beast, I don’t want it. If his mere presence doesn’t make your skin itch from the implications of where his tentacles come from, I don’t want it.

If his first greeting towards Jill isn’t a midair around the neck choke, I don’t want it. If his second greeting towards Jill isn’t a beat down with a fleet of tentacles pile driving her into the floor, I don’t want it. If he, after being blasted by Jill shooting at him with a full armory’s worth of weaponry, doesn’t see that as a thrilling meet-cute towards his target Jill, I don’t want it. If he literally isn’t obsessively thinking about the brutal things he wants to (and will do to) Jill, I don’t want it. If, at the end of their skirmishes, he doesn't gain a longing respect for Jill, I don't want it. If he basically develops human understanding but with nothing unhuman to balance it out to the point he might as well be human in all but name…yep, I don’t want it. The inhuman parts are not a bug, they are a feature lawl

ok. so! in the universe that WTBW is set in, Soobin’s species (that i am too lazy to go check the name of) are seen as absolute indestructible units by both other aliens/monsters and humans. Why is that? Because of their blood! it’s used as a weapon against other nonhumans because it’s toxic and deadly— thus, the reputation of the lilac blood gave the creatures the image of being insanely dangerous. 

as a matter of fact, there are operation sites that breed and harness blood from Soobin’s species because it’s such a sought after (and illegal. insanely illegal.) weapon! and that’s the reason why humans— more specifically, the mc and her crew— are so terrified of the Hexen species, (yes i did look up the name just now.) and more importantly, their blood— because it’s known to be used as a lethal weapon. 

Now, onto the main question; blood bonds, what the hell is up with that? lilac blood is lethal to every species but the one it came from— in other words, it doesn’t harm the hexen species. so, when they give each other / inject their blood into each other (i know, it sounds a little gross) it’s basically their way of bonding/mating— it represents them uniting and becoming one, and is a promise to remain together as long as they’re alive; yeah, they bond for life! 

-[do bullets affect soobin? how strong is he?]

long story short, yes— however, they don’t affect him as much as they would a normal human, or another nonhuman that isn’t as strong as his species. would they penetrate his skin? yes, but it would be a surface wound at most; his species has evolved to be extremely strong because they carry lilac blood and are able to receive it, so their body should be strong enough to handle it, and also, they have like six other limbs to attend to— it takes quite a bit of mental and physical strength to be able to develop and strengthen everything properly, if that makes sense.

could the mc’s crew have taken him down? yeah, a headshot is a headshot and soobin would’ve been a goner askdlh,, but his threats were enough to bring them to their senses bc yk.. he has tentacles that can move at the blink of an eye and he would’ve most likely taken one of them down before getting killed. he’s not invincible, but you do have to put a little extra effort in harming/killing him.

here’s the fun part hehe— so lilac blood, when used on humans, doesn’t kill them. Instead, it acts as an aphrodisiac. originally, lilac blood was only used as a weapon against non-humans; in other words, before space exploration evolved into what it is in that universe. Because of that, the hexen species didn’t evolve to combat against humans— which means the deadly aspect is taken away from the whole injection of it all. on soobin’s planet, everyone is already strictly against interacting with humans— the hatred doesn’t run as intense as other planets however, which is why soobin is so indifferent when he encounters the mc without her pin— so really, none of them knew what would happen if you injected your blood into them. 

soobin simply thought it would work as usual; what he didn’t account for, however, was the fact that humans don’t die from it— which means that they’re able to sustain it, and now… soobin’s body and mind thinks he’s just bonded with another of his kind!

as previously mentioned, the hexen species bonds for life— meaning that, if soobin tried to kill the mc, his body would go haywire and immediately think that his mate— his other half— is dead. a life without your mate can be seriously detrimental to both one’s physical and mental health, so soobin wouldn’t have lasted long without the mc; he would’ve been immediately weakened, and the crew would’ve taken that chance to take him down— if they somehow chose to keep him alive, he quickly would’ve died after anyway. (that’s dark sorry.)
