desmond being stuck in the animus for so long towards the end always made me think about very trivial things-

did he even have a solid food/water intake?

no restroom break?

how did he cope with the season changes? like, you know, it's something to have a fucked up representation of time, but insert seasons changing in the animus *and* real life seasons changing... that must be even more confusing.

im pretty sure he would be stiff/tense bc of all the fighting/running/parkour stuff happening in the animus and him being stuck with no real movement during most of it. did he get to have some massages/stretching exercises to help release the tensions :(

i HC that ezio becomes quite good at identifying birds bc obviously he spends a lot of time on rooftops and near birds. when he's got quiet times between missions (or during them), he observes them and finds himself getting quite entertained by their little day-to-day activities.

and at some point leonardo talks to him about what intrigues him the most about some birds and ezio surprises him by giving him lots of helpful answers. leonardo suddenly realizes ezio is quite the birdie expert and asks him for specific details about birdies. ezio is glad to share, and they spend entire evenings talking about birds. leonardo has stars in his eyes and cannot get enough of ezio's stories.

and sometimes ezio brings leo to (secure, easy-to-climb) rooftops to watch ezio's favourite birdies of that area :((((
