Because I’ve got quite a few “tumblr only” snippets and because not every fic in the Picket Fence timeline is part of the series on AO3, I’m going to link all my Sonic fics in this post in chronological order as best as I can! This isn’t necessarily the preferred reading order, but thought this might be helpful for people who are interested in where each fic falls in relation to each other. Especially since there are so many now! I’ll try and update this as the fics themselves update over time.

quick accessibility tip for neocities webmasters

this is something i learned while researching accessible web design and i just wanted to share for people on neocities who aren't aware. this applies to all web design tbh but yeah...

see how in my code i put alt=" " for this image's alt text? this is called a null alt attribute. it indicates to screen readers that an image can be ignored. you reserve this for decorative images (a popular example being dividers), aka images that are non-essential to understanding the content and purpose of a page.

you can see here that the icon is purely for aesthetic purposes. there's a header that indicates the name of the character i'm going to be talking about so i'm just using the icon to make the container look nice by breaking up the monotony of the text. because of that, i gave it a null alt attribute.

here's another example from my site:

this large image of kagamine len that i put in the background also has a null alt attribute. it's purely decorative, so there's no need to give it informative alt text. screen readers can skip it and no context is lost.

Thinking about how fucked the world would truly be if class 78 was really the remnants instead of class 77 like sure they have a princess but when you have a author, a Beyoncé of the idol world, programmer, fanfic creator, and a billionaire who has government secrets and easy access to them. Your just fucked honestly. Like it’s absolutely over, for the world and humanity, class 78 probably wouldn’t even be that redeemable really.

Though you could take out junko you still have to worry about her protege (no not monaca). Makoto.

Why Makoto? This man is influential with words I mean we all saw chapter 6, he has the public speaking skills politicians wish they could have. So it is crucial that he not fall into despair because while you can kill junko he’ll just continue her work.

Not a fan of the trend of museums/aquariums/etc putting up QR codes to scan instead of informational plaques next to the exhibits. I love information and absolutely would've read it if it was right there, but if I wanted words on a little screen I'd have stayed home and read wikipedia
