There was no question that Adam Noshimuri was devastated when his marriage to Kono fell apart. After everything they had gone through to be together, he couldn’t believe it was over. He’d made the decision to return to Hawaii because it was home, but more importantly because it was far away from the life Kono had made for herself without him noticing he was no longer a part of it.

Five-0 had pulled him from his drunken stupor, cleaned him up and put him to work. That turned out to be exactly what he needed. Something to keep his mind occupied. To keep him from sitting home alone night after night.

It took him longer than it should have to realize that his co-workers had a rotation of who was spending time with him, asking him to hang out after work hours. He hadn’t thought anything of the invitations. Five-0 had always been a tight knit group, more like a family than anything else. They tended to spend their free time together frequently.

One such invitation had brought him to where he was now, sitting at a table with you and Steve at a little bar you recommended near the beach. Steve grinned at the story you just finished before standing. “Well, it’s time for me to go,” he said while patting his pockets looking for the wallet he never seemed to have on him.

“I got it, boss,” you said after a moment with a shake of your head.

“Thanks. I’ll see you two tomorrow.” And a beat later he was gone leaving Adam alone with you.  

Adam ran his gaze along the line of your throat as you tilted your head back to take a long swallow of your beer. “I wonder how much money he’s saved by always having someone else pick up the check?” you asked once you’d sat the bottle down.

He huffed a laugh. “Oh, thousands at least.”

The two of you sat in companionable silence for a long moment. One of the things Adam liked most about you was that he never felt like he had to fill the silence. Just being near you brought him a sense of peace he had been missing for some time. He clenched his teeth and worked a muscle in his jaw. He wanted to spend time with you, but he didn’t want you to feel forced into it.

The day Adam realized he had feelings for you took him by surprise. Not because you were a man. He’d known he was bisexual since his late teens. He was surprised because he’d honestly thought he’d never feel that way again after Kono shattered his heart. The time he’d spent with you had gone a long way toward piecing it back together. That was the day he realized that it was no longer Kono that filled his every waking thought. It was you.

“I know what you’re doing, you know,” he finally said to break the quiet that had fallen between you.

You turned in surprise, eyebrows furrowed in question. “What?”

He nodded and sipped his beer. “All of you. I’ll grant you it took me a bit to figure it out. You guys have it down to a fine art.”

You were completely and utterly lost. “What in the hell are you talking about, Noshimuri?”

He gave you that smile that was almost a smirk that drove you crazy. “Inviting me out all the time. Hanging out after everyone else has gone.” He gestured to the table as he said the last. “I don’t need a babysitter anymore.”

You gave him a blank look. “I have no recollection of these events.”

He leaned back in his seat as he laughed. “I hope that’s not how you testify in court or we’re all screwed.”

A grin crossed your face. He didn’t laugh freely like that often and you were glad to be the one that caused it. “Seriously though. We stopped that ages ago.”

Adam arched a brow and gave you a look that clearly said he didn’t believe you.

You shrugged. “Once Steve figured out you weren’t going to drink yourself to death if we left you alone, he told us to stop. Now it’s just us being us.”

He licked his lips. “So why are you here then?”

“Um…I’m having a beer.” You lifted your bottle to emphasize your point.

He shook his head and pointed one finger at you. “No. You always stay longer than anyone else and try to get me to hang out with you if I’m going to be alone. You still feel the need to babysit me.”

“It’s not babysitting.” Your heart raced and your stomach churned with nerves. Were you really going to make this confession.

“What is it then?”

You sighed and laid a hand on top of his. “Sometimes you can be a little dense, Noshimuri.”

His brow furrowed in thought. You caught the moment he figured it out as his eyebrows lifted and his eyes went wide. “Oh.”

“Oh.” You pulled your hand away and gave him a cockeyed smile. Standing, you drained the last of your beer and tossed several bills on the table to cover the tab. “Have a good night, Adam. I’ll see you tomorrow.”

He still seemed a little dazed as you left. You were lost in your own head berating yourself for revealing your interest in your friend. Work was going to be so awkward now. You pulled out your keys when you got to your car only to be stopped by a hand on your arm.

You turned in surprise to find Adam smiling at you. “I called your name like three times.”

Your cheeks heated as you shrugged. “I was thinking I guess.”

He stepped closer to you. “Thinking about what precisely?”

You swallowed past the lump in your throat. “Don’t remember.”

“Hmm. That’s too bad.” He moved even closer and you stepped back only to find yourself up against your car. Noticing your predicament, Adam smirked. He rested one hand on the side of your face and traced his thumb along your cheek bone. “Because I know exactly what I’ve been thinking about for months.”

Your eyes searched his looking for any dishonesty. “Months?”

He nodded once. “Months.” His free hand found your hip as he eliminated any space remaining between the two of you. His gaze darted down to your lips and back again. “Can I?”

Instead of answering, you leaned forward and pressed your lips to his. Tasting. Familiarizing. Memorizing the feel of him. His tongue traced your bottom lip and you gasped allowing him entrance. Your hands gripped his hips as your thumbs ran back and forth wishing there was bare skin beneath them. Finally, the two of you pulled away, both trying to catch your breath.

“Holy shit,” you said after a moment, your voice breathy in surprise and need.

That made him grin again. “Let me take you to dinner?”

You nodded. “I’d love that.”

He moved backward away from you. “Tomorrow?”

You mirrored his grin. “Tomorrow.”

He kept his gaze on you for another minute before turning around and walking away. You watched him until he reached his car when he sent one more look in your direction, that grin still on his face. This was going to be fantastic.

whumptober day 2 In the hands of the emeny

He ran. Never in his life did Steve McGarrett see himself run through a jungle at breakneck speed again. And here he was. One foot in front of the other. Stopping was not an option. Stopping meant they could catch up with him. They knew where he was. And he was unarmed and injured. Not exactly the best odds. He had to beat the odds. Maybe even turn the game around. If only he could find a weapon. But he could not stop. He had to go on running. His life depended on it. And he had to hope he would not come across anyone else. Their life might depend on that.

Steve came to a sudden stop, just inches before a cliff. Damn, he had forgotten about that cliff. As bad as his situation was, he had one key advantage over those who chased him: He knew the area from when he was a kid, they were haoles, relatively new to the island. Some details were hazy. But if his mind supplied right, there was a waterfall somewhere below him. And underneath that a lake. He couldn’t see it through the foliage. It was a risk. But…going left or right, anything might end up in him dead. He heard noise of his chasers behind him… and took the leap.

It was instinct, trained into him in the Navy that he straightened himself out and folded his arms across his chest as he fell…and dove into cool water. There really was a lake! Steve opened his eyes and immediately swam to the surface and to the edge of the lake to pull himself out. Once out he turned around to look up again. From down here he could peak just up, making out two figures that retreated. The former seal looked around again, grabbing a rock, which he smashed against the metal collar around his neck, where he knew the opening mechanism should be. Instead of snapping open, a current shot through him, making him gasp and fall to his knees. These bastards had build in a failsafe, essentially tasing the person for trying to take off the tracking collar. Great, so back to running for his life it was. He could only hope the distance was decent. He could only hope he had better stamina than the chasers. But there was a limit even to his stamina.

Steve tried to pay no attention to the twigs and plants ripping through his pants and shirt, soon catching on skin and ripping that, too. It would be the least of his problems if he could not maintain the distance he had now. On a gamble he turned left, to get to a thicker part of the jungle, to hopefully hinder them from getting closer. It became more and more of a struggle as it got harder to breathe, harder to focus with every step. He took another gamble, turning slightly right, to go to the water, to hope that his training to run in sand would be another advantage to him. Just then his leg caught on something. He fell. Hard. He couldn’t hold back a scream as his right arm landed on a rock. He felt the snap of his bone. Steve knew he had no time. He scrambled back up, pulled his arm against his chest with his good arm and took off again. If he had to go down, he would go down fighting until the end. And it looked like it was not too far out as he heard the unmistakable sound of his chasers not too far behing him.

Any other day Steve would have stopped for a moment as soon as he broke through the line of trees catching sight of the ocean and the setting sun making Hawaii once more look like a painting of what people imagine paradise to be. Not today. Today he kept on running. There was a street between him and the beach. Cars pulled up. A familiar silver chevrolet, followed by a black camaro. Tani was the first to get out, simply stepping to the hood. She took aim, seemingly at him.

Steve threw himself to the ground just as she took her shots. He heard his chasers go to the ground behind him and his team in front of him take off running to him. They got him. Steve rolled over onto his back and looked up at Tani, Adam, Junior and Danny. Adam and Tani immediately started to work on the collar around his neck. Their first attempt shocked him, but he just flinched, not minding it one bit. They would get it off. A click announced that their second attempt was already successful and the heavy weight of the tracking collar fell off his neck.

“Are you okay, Steve?” He looked up Lou and nodded.

“They didn’t turn me into swiss cheese, so I’m good,” he replied. Everything else would heal. Those scratches needed a few dabs of alcohol and a bit of time and that broken arm just needed a cast and again, time. Nothing serious. He would be fine. And he would not end up like those many bodies that had ended up in the morgue with Noelani.

“Were they all?” Tani asked him. He shook his head.

“Nowhere near. They were just…the chasers.” He saw that they were about to ask him more, but Danny interrupted them.

“Let’s discuss this on the way to the hospital. That arm doesn’t look good at all. Sometimes I really wonder if you have a concept of pain to beginn with.” He reached for Steve’s good hand and helped him up. Once standing Danny guided him to the camaro - the passenger side for once, because no way he could drive with that arm, Adam in the back. As soon as he took off he connected them in a conference call, so Steve could tell them what had happened.

They had investigated what they thought to be a serial killer initially. All were killed within two weeks of each others, shot, taken apart and dumped in the same dump site. Noelani had found the marks on the neck and the body. They concluded that they must have run. Soon the idea formed in their minds that some sick people must have hunted these people for fun. It was not long until they realized more connecting the victims: All had served either in the Navy or Army. It did not matter to whoever targeted them whether that was in the past or present, but their fitness level could. All were single, no family.

Nobody has said anything, but all had thought it: Steve would fit right in. And when Danny came to pick him up the next morning the house was broken into. Parts of the stairs were destroyed, furniture, too, so Steve had struggled, but he was gone. Five-0 immediately went into high alert.

“There were a lot more people. They were betting. These bastards really do this for sports. They are betting on the times their ‘player’ lasts. They get to view the ‘player’ as they make the bets. Then the collar war secured. They told me to run. I was given a ten second head-start. So there is a lot more out there.”

“And we will get them,” Danny promised. “You saw them. Taking you was their biggest mistake.”

1) What OTPs in your fandom(s) do you just not get?

Where do I begin?? 😂 Okay, before I go any further let me just say that I fully respect everyone’s right to ship whatever they damn well please, but that doesn’t mean I have to ship it too so please don’t go getting offended if I mention your very own personal one true ship you would die for in this answer, okay? You’re allowed to love and hate whatever you please, and so am I. So let’s just agree to differ. Okay. Good. Right, let me see...

I don’t get shipping Stony in the MCU (I know next to nothing about the comics, animations, etc, this is based purely on the MCU iterations of the characters). I just don’t see them as a romantic ship. Hell, most of the time I don’t even see them as friends. I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’ve always favoured friends to lovers over enemies to lovers. Which is probably why I’m a Stucky gal!

Then of course there’s Darvey in the ‘Suits’ fandom. I mean, I knew they’d almost definitely end up going there and I get why it seems like the obvious choice, but, God, I just really hate them together! They feel more like brother and sister to me and I just don’t buy Harvey feeling that way about her. It just feels so forced, not to mention predictable. Plus, I just really hate Donna. (Sorry, Donna fans!)

Also, Sherlolly in the BBC ‘Sherlock’ fandom. I’m sorry, I just... no. I don’t hate Molly, I really don’t, but in my opinion Sherlock is just not into her. At all. Ever. (He’s gay, is what I’m saying.)

2) Are there any popular fandom OTPs you only BroTP?

I know Derek Morgan/Spencer Reid is a fairly popular ship in the ‘Criminal Minds’ fandom, and I certainly don’t hate it, but I’ve never seen their relationship as anything more than friends. I know there are others, but I can’t seem to think of them right now.

5) Has fandom ever ruined a pairing for you?

I wouldn’t say fandom has. I would say a couple of shows/movies themselves, however, have come pretty close. (Yes, BBC ‘Sherlock’, I’m looking at you. But I shipped Holmes and Watson long before that show began and I refuse to let them ruin it for me. I’m also completely ignoring Steve’s stupid ass storyline in ‘Avengers: Endgame’. He and Bucky have set up home together somewhere and occasionally come out of retirement when the world needs them, but Sam and the rest of the gang have it pretty much covered most of the time.)

27) Least shippable character?

Ooh, that’s a hard one! Well, as I mentioned, I don’t like Donna from ‘Suits’ and there’s no one I would wish her upon so I guess she counts. And in a weird way Adam Noshimuri from ‘Hawaii 5-0’. Not because I don’t like the character, because I really do like him, but because I really liked him and Kono together and while I’m glad he wasn’t written off the show when Grace Park, the actress who played Kono, left, I find it really hard to imagine him with anyone else. I really loved how you kept thinking their relationship was gonna go south and how they just kept overcoming all the obstacles put in their way. I was really rooting for them and I’d like to think if Grace hadn’t left the show then Adam and Kono would still be together.

For a while, that's okay...until some of the high ups begin to worry. They force Stiles to join the 5-0 task force. They're wary of him at first, and Stiles isn't fond of being forced to play with others.

They eventually begin to bond. Stiles learns to trust again. The 5-0 team becomes protective of Stiles...especially when Braeden shows up and gets Stiles into trouble and danger. They only know her as a mercenary, Stiles keeps distance because he doesn't want the team to learn about the supernatural.

They're also very protective when Derek arrives on the island and seems to also be dragging Stiles into dangerous situations. (The team imagines illegal car racing, gangs wars, and other hoodlum stuff. Stiles prefers they think that instead of getting involved in the supernatural)

I have a plot in my mind and my OC background will change very strongly. There will be a wide range of connection mix with a lot of theme in mind not to mention a story plot. There will be like mature sexual contents implied and a mix love triangle as well

When is Transformers, all will be entwined included with Transformers Prime bots. I feel like the Autobots need more than just a small team. I also feel like adding a twist.

It may be singularly series/crossover like a pre episode kinda feature but I after watching a few episodes, I thought well, I did write about North Korean agents mix in with MELCHEDECH from the K-drama Iris

So when I was watching the episode for season 10 earlier while I was chilling out for my weekend I admit I was amused. I wrote for Rogue Agents and one of the strongest plot until I don't know how to end it

It was like a crossover verse with NCIS Los Angeles💜📚✍️ might do something special for MARVEL verse

Maybe...but the mood theme for Five-0 is so strong on me now 🤣 and I love Adam Noshimuri! People say I crossover too many to the point of complication. Well, maybe that's true

But we do need some creative writers that does write crossovers and I admit it is very fun to do

I can spend a whole day just planning, imagining scene by scene, writing for a day and sometimes for a chapter I feel is a never ending or don't feel like want to end. But I feel if I start on it, I'm going to end up neglecting a lot of stuff! I did want to write Five-0 crossover with X-Men series before or else with Heroes. 😂📚✍️

My only problem is the beginning plot I suck at it

I usually have middle and ending then a sucky beginning writers block. But I do enjoy writing cliff hangers a lot. 💜🌏 It's been awhile since I'm able to enjoy fantasizing of What ifs scenarios in my mind. 🇦🇺

So what if he sleepwalks close to jagged cliffs or on balcony railings? So what if he’s missing a limb? Nobody has to know, least of all Steve.

Danny has it all under control—he’s handling it.

The captain looked at him with sadness and understanding... then Lou said, while putting his hand on the shoulder of his dejected friend, pressing lightly, "Do not go there, man!... You need to focus and concentrate on getting your boy alive from that place." A slight ironic smile was drawn on his face. Of all the ways he imagined the world would find out about the unexpected twist in their relationship, this one was definitely on the bottom of the list. The last weeks had been amazing. They had explored the new feelings between them, discovering and enjoying each other; allowing themselves to feel deeply... and it had been the most wonderful thing that had happened to him in a long ... long time.
