This is no way related to the Spiritober Event but I still wanted to share~ I have been helping @adventuringalchemy with a character development (the mentor character to Ivor) and I couldn't help myself with the art! They are really good at portraying his character and I can't wait for more interactions~

For those who don't know our role play is on a private server and basically consist of them meeting back up after a certain time (this takes place in the alpha time line between Father Syrus traveling from the desert village to the spruce village) a non-cannon Alpha Timeline where they met as apprentice and child for a short while, Ivor being 17 years old and Orchid being 8 to 9 years old... After a month or so (we haven't gotten to that yet) Father Syrus leaves with Orchid and the events that happen in adventuringalchemy universe happen as is according to their world lore...

- What is a Fanzine ?

A fanzine is exactly what you think it is, a zine made by fans around a common interest. It usually involve using cheap materials to make a very limited number of copies to distribute to the world, but here it won't be the case, as this zine will be fully digital. Being inspired from our neighboor minecraft fandoms it will also involve a theme for everyone to respect, one that will be choosen later if this goes further than just this post.

- Who can participate ?

If there is enough interest, application form will be made for everyone to fill in ! Everyone is welcome to add a piece of their own wether it is fanfiction, art (digital or paper) or even 3d renders. (Number of people being able to participate may be limited, nothing is set for now !)

Please do tell if you are interested ! Reblogs are greatly appreciated <3 If there are any questions, my asks are open (or you can simply comment) (be aware this is very stressful for me, but the motivation for this to happen is greater c:)

Please vote for the french option only if you commonly speak the langage, as it would make things easier for me in terms of communication. I may regret adding that option, but i think its funny.

what are your favorite ships (or dynamics) from minecraft story mode s1?

oh, this is a toughie! i deeply love mcsm’s dynamics in s1 -- the whole season in general just feels rather charming to me given the humble origins of it all. things are just simpler then, before multiple worlds and gods get added to the picture. and even then there’s that classic do-or-die plot where everything is a dire situation, and everything’s gone to chaos, and life is a never ending motion blur that bleeds together in the grand scheme of a singular mission. i’ll just say off the bat that there’s many dynamics in s1 that i find fun to consider, but as for some favorites …?

jesse and lukas is perhaps my otp of the season, shocking to none. lukas in general is such a great character and it’s hard not to be smitten by his utter logic and slightly edged attitude … seeing how axel clashes against him as well as lukas’s struggle to adjust to a new team is some of the more enjoyable character stuff in s1. he’s so closed off most of the time but he tries very hard to be someone jesse can rely on anyway ; always offering a helping hand, always stomaching his fear to keep moving forward, etc etc. you can just tell that from the moment jesse offers lukas a cookie that lukas is in awe of him most of the time, and is working his ass off to repay that ( in his eyes ) unearned kindness. he knows jesse’s the leader and not only does he respect it, but he admires it and jesse in turn. but never does he lose sight of jesse as a person and this becomes even more obvious in the other sections of mcsm … lukas sees jesse as an equal, despite all his fawning and mooning, and he wants to be seen as jesse’s equal as well. more importantly, he wants jesse to know they’re on the same footing and a team. i’ve talked a lot about how jesse’s ascension to ‘godhood’ / ‘legend’ is a major part of his character, aka that slow stripping of autonomy, so to have a person who views jesse fairly ( despite all the lovesick inclinations ) is of the utmost importance to me. i think jesse brings out the best in lukas, and lukas acts as jesse’s stoic shield, and they’re easily a perfect puzzle piece that slots together juuuust right. they have their flaws! lukas internalizes all his feelings and stuffs them in books, in his head, always dilutes them and can’t ever say what he wants to so blatantly ; and jesse is eternally tied to his newfound life as a hero and, similarly, also can’t ever say what he means, because he doesn’t think he has to say it, just assumes it’s felt in actions and in silence … but no ship is a fave of mine unless there’s some chafing. love them so much, i swear.

besides them though, hm! it’s difficult to say. to be as curt as possible, i enjoy jesse’s relationship with axel and olivia and his dynamic with reuben is so very deep and metaphorical to me, so i can’t help but view it with the utmost favoritism. i enjoy lukas and the ocelots, even if we don’t see much of them. and, obviously, the order of the stone’s dynamics are technically at the forefront of everything in s1 : it is their past that pushes the present, it’s ivor’s bitterness that creates the monster, it’s soren’s mistakes that cost his friends everything in the end. i do wish more was done with the ‘old’ order, because they are the start of jesse’s story and teach him everything he knows about heroism and cowardice and broken bonds … and this is a sentiment that echoes for centuries honestly. there is always a ruined relationship, somewhere, that is echoing into the narrative and changing jesse’s life, even though he is an outsider to it himself. but, ah, i digress. time to ger specific again!

this might be a little surprising but i’m endeared greatly to magnus and ellegaard, and their whole relationship. i’ve written some brief meta on them before although there’s just something about it -- especially since i kill magnus over ellegaard. ellegaard having to pick herself back up, dust herself off, and go back to redstonia after all of that … having to return to her normal life and know that magnus is gone for good, gone forever, and has finally achieved something the rest of the order lied about ; true heroism, true martyrdom, something she even tells jesse was rather fitting given his utmost bravery and ‘awesomeness’. i think it’s obvious that magnus and ellegaard were close / were romantically entangled during the order’s heyday and to know they used to be so close stings extra hard during the season’s events. they’re total opposites! … or so they pretend to be. meanwhile magnus looks like a total nerd without his armor, has this long-coat look and a fancy button-up, all paired with this obnoxious red bowtie … he looks so sophisticated! but it isn’t shocking when you make the very basic realization that in order for magnus to make the traps he does, he has to be sufficiently skilled in redstone to do it all. he’s smart despite everyone pretending he isn’t, despite magnus acting like he’s not all that either, and most importantly he connects with ellegaard in her specific talent and interest -- meanwhile she, in turn, seems to have an appetite for destruction, given her fascination with the command block and recreating it. she’s not nearly as thrill seeking as magnus, but it’s enough, and then it all goes to shit and ellegaard’s alone. something about them devestates me and i do think they were each other’s most beloved in their friend group … even when they’re at each other’s throats and after potentially years of not talking, magnus still calls her ‘ellie’ immediately and she doesn’t correct him, and she walks off with him even after olivia defends her ( something she seems annoyed by ), and they’re together even in the end, spending hours fighting off mobs despite their constant bickering.

i don’t know if i’m explaining it well, but i love them! i do! so here’s a little ramble i sent to my partner about them a while back, where i try to feel out the crux of their dynamic and why it gets me in particular :

anyway i was thinking about the old order and was STRUCK by magnus and ellegaard in a way that was genuinely devestating … was sort of mulling over them and maybe what their ‘flaw’ was in terms of their ( in my hcs ) constant seperation + fiery rekindling + cycle repeats. and i think it’s just … they sort of thought they’d have all the time in the world, i suppose. if people do not age, there is no inherent fear of morality -- not in that sense of … this is always the end etc. and they do view each other as capable in their own right and they are relatively ‘safe’ so to speak … so there is no rush, right? they do not need to conform into something more solid. perhaps they like the spontaneity of their relationship … perhaps they do not need something so firm and strict right now when they know they’ll end up together at some other point down the line … they could. wait! and that actually makes me devestated because no they can’t wait, they shouldn’t have waited -- because they don’t have all the time in the world and their time is cut short faster than either of them were truly ready for. i think ellegaard would regret all the time they ‘wasted’ after … would mourn it greatly, every moment she didn’t have due to her own ‘foolishness’ … could serve as a nice cautionary tale.

since magnus dies, i have a special place in my heart for his dynamics overall. him and jesse ( technically the guy he dies for ), him and soren ( who held him as he slowly died ), him and ivor ( who got him killed, in a way ), etc etc. in my eyes, he haunts the narrative afterwards, even if he’s not as heavy of a presence as reuben is. i could talk about these relationships more in depth probably, yet i’ll try not to for the sake of not making this thirty thousand words long lol! just know that i think all his bonds are fascinating and haunting in a way, since magnus is a dead man walking … he always has been, since the moment he locked himself in that spiral tower in boomtown.

gabriel and jesse is also another core dynamic to me! jesse, quickly emerging into legend as this fast, stumbling thing. and gabriel, the fraud legend, the worshipped by jesse and others, the one who is trying but isn’t enough. jesse getting to be with his idol and seeing gabriel for what he is, which is a tired, worn out man who’s been forced to live a lie for all his friends for years -- jesse slowly realizing that him and gabriel aren’t that different, but they also are, in every way that counts. i love when they chafe against each other due to their different views and i love how gabriel tries imparting toxic ideals about friendship and intimacy onto jesse, who isn’t having it … but jesse isn’t mad at gabriel. he’s just … sad for him. sad that gabriel believes those things, that he feels that way, that he’s at the end of his rope and nobody cares. there is a great deal of pity and understanding, versus gabriel, who is nothing but a ball of crushing guilt near the end. he’s proud of jesse, sure, but there’s also this feeling of -- he’s set jesse up for a horrible life too. at the end, jesse becomes the new and ‘better’ gabriel, and it’s such an odd thing ; to see your shadow be filled and become bigger than it ever was when you once casted it. surprisingly, one of my first mcsm wips was about this, jesse/gabriel, and this complicated turnaround they’re both being shoved into.

since i don’t know when or if i’ll ever finish it, here’s some words from that document :

anyway! wow. i have a lot of love for s1 dynamics! there’s still so many to name! i love how our present cast parallels the old order, i love axel and his bottomless worry for petra, i love what little we get of petra and jesse in this season, and i love ivor’s whole relationship with the order too.

i’m running out of steam a bit ( and lord knows i have even more love for the dlc + s2 relationships ) so i’ll end it here, alas, but … thank you so much for the ask! sorry that i became an incoherent mess at the end haha. i truly became overwhelmed in my desire to name everything i loved and to do it semi justice, as well as sing as much praise for s1 as possible, since i don’t get to do that often. hopefully this is still a fun read regardless of my insanity -- and, even more so, i hope i expressed my love for these characters and dynamics enough.

Lukas’s is a Healer. He discovered this after he and Jesse fell into the water in Soren's fortress and accidentally heals the injuries Jesse sustained in Boomtown.

Adding on to Waterbending Lukas, He uses a specific form of Waterbending technique that's modeled after Ballet. It's called dace de l'eau (French for Water Dance)

Oliva’s a very weak and inexperienced earthbender. She gets better and prefers to use Redstone bending.

Radar’s able to see spirits that hide their presence and he can guide people into the spirit world.

Jeez. Wow, I hardly know what to say. Like literally I've been sitting on this ask for a day thinking of how to respond.

It's pretty dang rare to hear I'm someones favorite artist, so I was shocked to see this when I woke up yesterday. I just want you to know that means the world to me, and it's a huge honor. Thank you so much. As well as the praise towards my writing, it means so much to me to hear positive feedback about it. To know my silly art and writing has had a positive impact on you is incredible. I love that, thank you so much. <:D 🩵

As for how I make my au designs? Gosh I really am not sure. It really is just me pulling up a blank canvas and drawing the characters then adding clothes and armor that I feel fits them. I actually had someone recently ask me on discord how I came up with FD Jesse's design and what the process was, but that one art of them I did with Lukas and Jesse standing side by side (I'll link it at the end) was the first time I drew their designs for this au. Wasn't even sure if I'd stick with the Jesse design but then a bunch of people started making fanart of him and I am SOOOO unbelievably grateful for that but then I knew the design was a success and he grew on me a ton, so I don't see myself changing it. I don't usually use references when doing my character designs, I kind of just work with what I know how to draw already and try to get the image in my head out into the drawing. For the royal au Jesse, I had Link (LoZ) in mind 🥰

i don't know what compelled me to do this but here's a list of how mcsm incorporated and expanded on elements from the game and mc community!!!

along with aspects of how mcsm was written that i really like!!!!

allot of the following will be taken either from things i noticed in the game itself and things the head writer @/stirpicus's blog from like. years ago

so first of all, i love the direction they went with in mcsm. for the time it was made, you'd think they'd make something relating to Alex and Steve and even herobrine, or even the popular overworld vs nether trope that was around, BUT NO!! they introduce a new set of characters in an original setting with its own story

and having the ender dragon already be beaten and a finished arc is a breath of fresh air in my opinion

so instead they took the second(?) strongest boss, mixed it with the command block which they made stronger/more powerful than it already is and made the wither crazier than before, thats just fucking cool

the (old) order of the stone are awesome too, they took different types of mc players and made them into a group of heroes!!!! and it isnt the usual group from nowadays, like sure a warrior and an alchemist are typical but they threw in a builder, an alchemist, and griefer!!! thats fucking awesome!!!! and ivor as the alchemist isnt even the biggest fighter (because he's fucking old) which i love, they use his other characteristics as an advantage. before the ninja arc obviously

AND THE ORDER'S TEMPLE AND THE TRACKING MAAAPP!!! i love how they used and expanded on that feature

SAME WITH THE RAILWAY SYSTEM!!! TO TRAVEL LONG DISTANCES IN THE NETHER!! i wish we got more of that x(

now this might be biased cause i don't like ep2 thaaatt muchhh, though it deserved so much more when it comes to redstonia and boomtown, tho the concepts alone are really creative

only thing i can point out from ep3 is the grinder from soren's fortress, and how its just the actual mechanism to get loot and xp in game but on a larger scale. and the fact that the amulet doesnt work in the nether/end like any other tool of that sort!! small details!!!!

and this is just my opinion but soren's studies on the enderman feel like a jab at those enderman related theories from years ago xd

the far lands. i just really love that they added the farlands in ep4 was it?? and i love how they utilized the aspect of enchanting weapons, which they kept it as epic as in ep4 x(

the portal arc.. I LOVE THE PORTAL ARC. SO MUCH. it uses allot of aspects outside of mc survival like mini games and the community itself!!

like. episode 5 is literally just sky block, obviously. and it's got spawn eggs, which without the world build in the network would've been hard to implement BUT THEY STILL MANAGED TO ADD IT IN!!!

ep6 is murder mystery with some iconic mcyt. literally what more do you want!!!

ep7, pama's inspired by players who make redstone computers in the game like said here!!! thats so fucking cool!!!!

EP8 COULD'VE AND SHOULD'VE HAD SO MUCH MOREEE!!! and its inspiration is obvious too; the different mini games in mc and respawning!! i love that they added respawning in at least one episode

like the way they took elements from and outside of mc survival is so creative, especially with how they were implemented (even if sometimes they weren't accurate) and all the world build!!!!

season 2's more focused on the idea and limits of creative mode or the idea of a "god" in mc, and definitely has its fair share of world build, which is still really cool

i actually like how they went about revealing the admins and their connection to the overworld without it messing up the lore in s1 or having it come out of nowhere in a bad way!! like old OLD myth turned real trope worked out well here

also it felt like the sea temple scene was foreshadowing the aquatic update that was to come in mc at the time!!

and one thing about the sea temple, when the origins of the world and the admin were being explained, i'm pretty sure they mention how "the world was flat until the admin gave it hills and trees" and stuff, referencing both super-flat worlds and foreshadowing the bedrocking event!!!

and idk how many people actually know this but the structure block is an actual thing in mc?? i did NOT know about that till recently it's embarrassing

might just be me but i like to think that the original mobs romeo makes are also a subtle reference at mods and how people can mess around with that kinda stufff.... idk tho

from this point on i can't think of anything else in s2 that i could put in this ramble, but overall, mcsm writers and develops were fucking geniuses and i love how they put everything together ^_^ ty for any1 who read this far, and feel free to leave your own insights!!!!!

Hi, it is I the anon Gabriel lover and honestly I didn’t expect my asks to gain traction. You guys are all awesome and I’m glad I can share my love for Gabriel with you guys. That being said, I wrote a Drabble based on the last ask and I hope you enjoy and my apologies for any inaccuracies it’s been a while since I last looked at MCSM, take care:

Petra gave a glance towards Gabriel as the warrior helped to set up camp for the night, unaware of the other’s current internal conflict inside her head. She never expected to encounter the warrior on her adventures, though she should have considered the chance and now she has to tackle how she can break Fred’s death towards him.

Hearing that Gabriel and Fred were a couple wasn’t what Petra or Jesse would ever expect but hearing how Xara and the others described them, it’s clear how much they loved each other. And now Fred is dead. Fred’s dead and Gabriel is left unaware of what happened, waiting for a man who can never return. It left a bitter taste in her mouth but she and Jesse made a promise to Fred’s people to at least tell Gabriel the truth, he deserves to know.

So, as the two settled down around the fire, Petra scratched the back of her head, bracing herself. She doesn’t know why she’s nervous- actually scratch that she does. It’s not everyday you deliver devastating news to someone about a loved one, especially if it’s someone you know and respect. Despite that, her resolve hardened and she finally forced the words out of her throat, “So… Jesse and I met someone in our last adventure. Her name’s Xara.”

Petra watched as Gabriel’s eyes widened in recognition, his head snapping towards her. Petra took a deep breath as she looked back, “She mentioned someone else too. His name’s Fred and he’s… He-“

“Fred’s gone, isn’t he?” Gabriel interjected, making Petra jolt. The warrior gave a bittersweet chuckle at Petra’s gobsmacked expression before explaining, “Fred was too kind to just disappear without an explanation, he would have sent a letter to explain himself. I waited for that letter, but it never came…”

Petra watched, her expression sorrowful as Gabriel removed his helmet, staring down at it with an indescribably pained face, “Eventually, I knew that Fred isn’t coming back, he can’t come back and even after coming to terms with that, it still hurts.”

The warrior stood up, shaking his head, “Forgive me, I need a moment to process this.”

“Of course, take your time.” Petra frowned before eventually adding, “If it helps, we met some people who looked after Fred’s pets. We can go to Beacontown to meet them if you want.”

“I… I would like that… Thank you.” Gabriel nodded, his body shaking with the sobs he’s struggling to keep in as he walked away. His mind raced, grappling with the news he never thought would be confirmed, crushing what little denial Gabriel had remaining deep down, hoping that Fred would return someday. Even after all these years, all the pain that left him jaded, Fred still remains close to his heart.

As Gabriel slowed to a stop atop a hill, he shakily pulled out a letter which felt heavier now than it did before and collapsed, dropping his helmet in the process. His cries echo across the plains, carrying his grief and heartbreak.

How are you? I hope you are faring well, the sunrise over the birch forest I saw was wonderful. I even included a little picture for you! I hope you like it. The landscapes you described to me on your adventures really inspired me and I love hearing you talk about where you have gone. Just please be sure to be careful, I don’t want you to get hurt.

Nugget and Waffles are doing well although Waffles still has trouble making decisions. He’s a silly little chicken but he’s our silly little chicken, he and Nugget can’t wait to meet you again.

I wish I can say that things are alright with my friends but tensions have only gotten worse. Romeo is fully committed to his idea of conquering other worlds and Xara has lost all hope in him. Yet, I still believe in my friend, I think I can convince him. It may be dangerous and I’m afraid that there is a good chance that I will die but no matter what happens, I will always love you Gabriel and I’ll make sure to return to you. I cannot wait to see you again when our anniversary comes around, I have the most wonderful place to show you.

My stuffed animals mean alot to me, as well as the communities im in. Ive gotten a few requests done of characters with my robot dog before, and id love to get proper art and pay this time around.

Uhm MCSM fans i had the idea for a concept antagonist for MCSM season 3! They're a sentient sculk creature that was created by one of the admins on accident and it starts infecting people and adding them to their hivemind and while going through their minds it finds out about how much Beacontown gets attacked and decides it wants to be the next thing that terrorizes the town so they go all silly and end up consuming artifacts gaining powers i guess?(i dunno) and then they try and take over the whole world trying to infect everyone and Jesse and the gang have to sort it all out and stop the lil sculk creature!(To sum up this character think of them as the Collector from the owl house mixed with PAMA and The Wither Storm! The collector as they have no concept of death and whats right or wrong and how their infections can hurt people PAMA because the infection works as a sort of Hivemind it controls and The Wither Storm because the infection works as the wither sickness)

how would the hermitcraft and avm crossover happen in-universe

ANYWAYS, yeah. so before i start let me tell you the minecraft universe in my head sometimes only makes sense to me bc i think abt things Way too much and also sometimes i dream abt how possibly the 4th + 5th dimensions would work for the eyes of a tridimensional being- basically my brain is just Like This,

so we start with this explanation, not with the common everyday minecraft, but with the minecraft from the story mode game (bear with me-)

So basically, in the first minecraft story mode after the wither storm is defeated completely, jesse and the new order of the stone go on adventures trough portals to different kinds of worlds which seem to have different generations in terms of the terrain n world And also sometimes gamerules (like how it seems in the world where jesse lives is a hardcore one, like most others they visit, while the one with the mini-games people can respawn)

and yeah, i am aware in the case of mcsm, all portals have different blocks used to get to those worlds while in avm is with only nether portals. but listen.

there's one connection between these two that would make possible the crossover in-universe (or well. in the minecraft universe in my head):

in mcsm, the various mcyt that appear in the first and second season, and in avm, the kid that was playin minecraft. who second and red used the email from to return to alan's pc. So in a way the minecraft from mcyt has a connection to mcsm, and the minecraft from mcsm has a Possibility of a connection to avm

like is Literally a fine thread of a connection, but if youre insane enough (like me) it kinda makes sense, yknow

but anyways, in my head it would work smth like this:

the nether from avm seems to be like—a central point of that universe. it connects everything and everyone, so you can travel to Completely different minecraft worlds with their own rules and terrain from there. maybe is depending on where you are in that nether, like... very specific coords, or with something else added to the mix, like with the help of the command block staff and other powerful things...

the thing here is, with some luck, one of those worlds can be Also one of the hundreds that are in the portal hall in mcsm, and from there just find the one that seems to connect to the wider mcyt universe and boom. a purple stickman (which is not so stick anymore at that point, but this also has a reason dw <- head full, many thoughts) is suddenly in hermitcraft-

Scattered Feathers Au - The World's Layers

So in Mcsm, there are only two 'layers' of the world that we know of - the current Overworld and the Underneath. In my Au, I've expanded on that idea and added details to not only to the layers we know of, but also to the layers below the Underneath.

So, first up:

The Overworld - The Top/Third Layer

The most recent world to be made and the home of Jesse and her friends.

This layer is missing a lot of the features present in current Minecraft, only having features up to the World of Colour update. This includes the world generation side of things as well, no extravagant caves or mountains or what have you.

This is because Romeo was the one to sculpt this world instead of Fred, the Nether admin wasn't able to capture the same environments Fred could and since Romeo was doing things alone, a lot of things found in the underneath weren't carried over to the surface.

Another interesting thing about this layer is it hasn't been around for all that long, only a few decades at most, though the memories of the older folk who live up there think otherwise. The truth is Romeo took a lot of people from the underneath to populate his new world, then messed with their memories so they'd think this was always their home (and so they'd forget the admins as well).

Aside from Romeo, only one person living on the top layer remembers what's below the bedrock...

The Underneath - The Middle/Second Layer

The world the admins built together, though Fred mostly handled this one while Romeo and Xara took care of the end and the nether respectively.

It's the most current version of Minecraft, meaning it has the caves and cliffs world generation, the cherry and mangrove trees/biomes, mobs like phantoms, bees, goats, allays, etc... With a few exceptions.

It doesn't have access to the deep dark, and a few biomes (particularly cave related ones) aren't there either. This also, of course, includes the sculk and warden, which are only found in the next layer down.

The Deep Dark - The Lowest/First Layer

The only thing that remains of the ancient world (in the overworld at least). The deep dark has a few safe caverns, a few dripstone caves or the rare lush cave, but most of the caverns have been consumed by sculk.

What was once a safe haven from the dangers above the bedrock (long gone by the time the admins were sent out to rebuild the world) has long since become a death trap, only one of the settlements hold life - and even then it's only three people that currently live there - The Ancient City. It too has been consumed by sculk that fed on its inhabitants, but those who remain know how to be quiet and muffle any sounds.

Very few things survived what pushed people to hide underground, to retreat and build a protective layer of bedrock, but that world had held many removed or never added features in Minecraft. From mobs like the glare, the rascal, the moobloom and more to the mechanics like gears instead of redstone and potions brewed from cauldrons. A few mobs that were remade for the above worlds were different in this world as well.

The Void - Beneath The First Layer of Bedrock

Ever-present across any dimension, ever-lasting and impossible to destroy or move, ever hungry for whatever falls below its threshold. The only place where there is truly nothing, where only entities can enter.

Blocks refuse to be placed in it, pistons will not push past it, even liquids spread as if on a solid surface rather than enter it. Only a dragon can (and does) survive its embrace.

When close enough to the void, its presence can be felt and it isn't a good feeling or easy to become accustomed to. It can even affect vision, creating what could be described as a 'void fog'. It is possible to get used to the feeling, but only really for those who grow up near it.

Trying to figure out the logic in MCSM for my... own personal fun

Part 2(surprisingly)

About age(last time I did death)(they kinda connect in a way. Or not- but I'm still adding the link to the first one)

So if I say they don't die of old age(the proof being the old order of the stone, the old builders and.. the admins?) But if we say they do age just don't die of it, then we need to think of something to make.. sense of it?

Like for instance Harper's hair wasn't always white. In the photo where she first created PAMA it's brown. But we don't actually know when that picture was taken. It actually could have been a few months or just a couple of years ago, not decades, and Harper's hair changed color due to.. stress? Or she dyed it

Or the fact that the characters in the game itself mention age related stuff

So it means that they could age. Just really slowly or in different ways than we do. I mean- sure the concept of time exists, but do you really think time in there works the same way as it works for us? I mean- the original minecraft game is already different. It goes 72× faster than our time. But if we watch the games time... there's a lot of skips and just flashes so it's hard to determine. But anyways, because of the time being different, maybe aging also works differently. And it takes a long time for them to age. Even if it's been a year for us and a year for them to, in that world they don't count is as people's age going up a year. Instead, maybe it's kind of like how we divide human stages of life, they only make sense of age by different stages of ones lifespan not by years. If.. that makes any sense

So between same age stages they're just all... the same age or similar. The more smaller details of age is seen by how they are viewed or if they've been there much longer than the rest

Or hey! Who knows! It could be magic for gods sake! I mean- they're technically blocks! Pixels! Maybe they have some.. tingles that.. determine how old a person is (I'm sorry. I think I'm tired)(I just woke up)

Okay- that was crazy, but it did give me an idea.

The pixels. Maybe the pixels determine they're age(this still makes no sense)

So yeah- I guess my guess would be.. they don't have exact ages.. but have like.. people be divided into giant age groups? And those age groups can get bigger if some group of people happens to live e so long the people add a new age group

Or maybe! They just have the concept of age. But they kind of.. feel like this guy is younger than me... and just go with it and never bring it up or acknowledge it much.

The characters just kinda blurt things out sometimes and not understand what they just said and everyone that was in the room just freezes

Hello, strangers of the internet. I have decided to open up a Minecraft: Story Mode confessions blog because there hasn't been an active one on here in two years. This confession account is not run by the same person who ran the first one. This is also run separately from the confessions account on Instagram. We are different people.

Some rules that must be followed for your confessions:

1. Your confession must be related to Minecraft: Story Mode.

2. You confession must be in English, for moderation purposes.

3. Discrimination will not be tolerated. This includes (but is not limited to): homophobia, racism, and ableism.

4. No NSFW or suggestive content.

5. No purposfully inciting drama or discourse. (Introduced May 29) As of July 13, I am also specifying that this blog is not a place to host your beef with specific people in the fandom. And as of July 28, I will extra specify that anonymously bashing people (or their content) is also not okay. As of September 18, please note to avoid using a phrase along the lines of "I want to start discourse."

If your confession fails to abide by all of these rules, it will not be posted.

(Note: I do occasionally make mistakes and poor judgements on these. I am human, but I try my best.)

So, I have a character (my golden child, Serenity) who I've been trying to develop her culture and her language for so long but never really had the motivation to keep updating the language let alone practice it. I never gave her parents names or faces either because they were always just dead.

And I have a villain family that had like little to no personality and no lore because in my OG story, they're already dead too except one.

What fixes these predicaments?

Petra. Petra on character AI. Making Petra visit Serenity's village and meeting each sibling of the family in different worlds. Now her parents have names and faces, I've added so many words and phrases to the dictionary, the villains all have their own way of gaining power in the different worlds and Petra has to take them down a peg

I never once thought that I would develop that much actual lore for my characters through MCSM and now I want to write the whole portal hopping shebang but mostly for myself bc it's so heavily OC based.

Infodumping below, you don't have to read.

Basically, the premise is that Petra wants to go portal hopping again and gets permission to take the Atlas so she knows where she's going and whatever and stumbles across Serenity's world and her village that is being oppressed (very A Bugs Life vibe)

And like, I've had ideas on the decision based stuff (like how decisions would alter some things, but idk how I would do that through like just a fanfic but obvs i made C,AI Petra do the decisions. Like depending on what COAT she borrows from Serenity's dad, it changes stuff. Wherever she decides to sleep for the night changes some stuff. She teases one of the waitresses for something small, WAITRESS FREAKS OUT AND THEY LEARN ABOUT THE ENEMY AND HOW HE TREATS THE TOWN.

Then I was like "this world's fleshed out but what do I do about the other ones?

So I got Serenity's Village, Water World (very Sonic Prime inspired bc pirates), Apocalyptic Wasteland or Cyber looking place that I heavily based off of a dream I had with giant creatures roaming around.
