Taylor Swift and Vienna Eras Tour

So, Eras Tour Wembley Night 2 just happened and I am sad

I am sad and I am upset and I am also happy for all of the Swifties who got the chance to attend but I am so upset that I had one chance to see Taylor and that was taken away from me, and thousands of other swifties...

And I'm seeing other swifties defending Taylor and her team, and being so insensitive and mean to the Vienna fans and I'm just in shock. Everyone moved on from this so quickly and the Vienna fans are still trying to deal with the immense sadness that we're all feeling.

I'm hurt. Hurt that she didn't even acknowledge the Vienna cancellations in any way whatsoever. She didn't have to state the reason, just an acknowledgement to show that her fans are seen, that she cares about them. Just that would have been enough for us.

And no, I'm not being an entitled person asking for my favourite artist, the only artist whose music I've listened to for YEARS, to atleast tell me that she was looking forward to performing for us. She isn't answerable to us but she is a celebrity with millions of fans who support her and stand by her no matter what. So no I'm not entitled in asking 1% of that support back from her.

Years of dreaming about going to a Taylor concert and this was my first chance. I was supposed to put on my eras tour outfit, wear the jewellery I bought for the concert, anticipate the outfit changes and surprise songs, scream fuck the patriarchy with 50k fans, scream the cruel summer bridge, cry. What do I do now?

Even if she couldn't say anything, a surprise song for us in the Wembley concert would have been nice. Just one song.

I'm just hurt and sad and upset and I haven't been able to listen to her songs ever since the cancellations. I can't bear to look at the concert videos. Yet I open them like a glutton for punishment. Idk what to do. She's been my favorite artist for so long. Her songs brought me comfort when I moved to a new country. And now those very songs hurt me. It hurts and I hate this feeling and I hate that I'm not even seen. I'm just another person who spent money on her.

In the grand scheme of shitty things happening in the world right now, my problem is very much a first world problem. Sometimes I feel so stupid thinking these thoughts. I just want to move on from these feelings. But I don't know how to process these emotions. If anyone has any tips please feel free to share.

I watched Melanie Laurent's Wingwomen over the weekend and I--

I don't know if that was the queerest thing I have ever watched or if it was meant to not be Queer but then 10 minutes in they realized this is really super queer but we didn't mean it to be, but it is kind of queer, so if you can go with that reading or just ignore it, but sure, yes, no, it's queer.

And it's about hit women and heists and it has all the things. And there is an ACTUAL lesbian character, but there is also whatever platonic romantic bff/gff thing going on between the other two women, but maybe they are also just in a polyamorous trio.

And my word, Manon Bresch is just swoon-worthy gorgeous, and I could have just watched a montage of her for 90 minutes. Whew!

So, yeah, um, I need other people to watch this film. It's quirky, funny, sweet, and has a happy ending. I think I don't know what I expected.

I love Disgaea 2

So I have D2 on both PS2 and PC, and I gotta say, I absolutely love th DLC characters in the PC port!! But D2 on the PS2 will always have a very special place in our hearts. That was the very first ever Disgaea that we ever played and we came SOOO close to beating it!! The OST is beautiful, the gameplay I love, the characters are so silly and I love how every single one of them plays a good role in the story. I mean, come on, you got the main protag which is Adell, and he's a badass. Trying to fight his way for his family, while also escorting Rozalin home. Rozalin being the spoiled princess she is, also having a very interesting story like her not meeting her father, although she talks SO HIGHLY of him. Adells mom is a summoner, his dad is a silly guy who talks about weapons, Hanako ((in the PC port)) summons powerful characters for you, Taro is just a silly demon who falls into the river BUT he gets the story going BJKAJ Moral of the story, I love Disgaea 2, and I love everything about Disgaea 2. I especially love the Holy Dragons in Disgaea 2. I honestly just wanted to come here and rant about Disgaea 2, so I did XD

Okay, time to theorize where Celia’s gifts came from

Celia has her own original gifts but also additions from her mom, her dad, and her aunt. Adelle Fincastle has Sight and Mind gifts, with Sight being the stronger of the two. Celia herself had Touch gifts and likely Mind gifts before the Transference. That leaves Speech and Body to be covered by Jacob and Emily.

Because of the sheer strength of Celia’s power it’s very likely each gift worked with overlay, two people’s worth of gifts boosting them to their crazy high levels.

This tells us that with our working theory, Jacob and Emily need to both cover the Speech and Body categories. Also, at least two people had to have had three gifts. My bet is on one of the tri-gifters being Celia.

We know her grandfather had Mind gifts and okay Body gifts, and gifts are hereditary, so let’s say that Celia was born with Touch, Body, and Mind. By the same logic, Shay has Body and his sister Amelia has Touch. Therefore, Emily likely has one of those, if not, both.

That frees Jacob up from having Body gifts, leaving him with Speech. We’ll give him the second portion of Sight to even things out.
