#again i think Tommy would be their best bet for that. start him off where he is now and develop his character. have him grow and learn
How do you feel about the various Marvel speedsters, most prominent of course being Quicksilver but also Northstar, Makkari and Speed?
Speed is baby and I love him. Seriously though I've been a Tommy fan for a long time. House of M was one of the first comics I've ever read. My parents took me to a comic book store and I hand picked it out of all the others. It was the first comic I chose to buy (albeit with my parent's money because I was a child). My younger brother was in the hospital at the time, he's better now but at the time it was hit or miss, and I was keeping him company so they wanted me to have something to read while he was comatose. I think I read that book front to back 50 times. Despite its faults House of M will always have a special place in my heart because of that.
The whole convoluted mess that is the Maximoff family is fantastic. Pietro and Tommy included. I'm particularly a fan of Speed though. He's great in the Young Avengers and whenever he shows up with Prodigy and I just really really really like the guy. He's like a kicked puppy in the rain. I wanna give him a blanket and food and another puppy to be friends with. He's so sad.
Pietro I like but in a 'oh my god he's such a fuck up, ain't he great?' kinda way. I really love him. He is such a fuck up though I swear to god. It's different from Tommy too. Tommy is a kid who just wants stability and love and is terrified of being hurt. His 'bad decisions' are a thinly veiled mask for a traumatized kid. But Pietro??? Pietro wakes up and says 'today I'm going to make the worst decisions possible' and then he does it. He kidnapped his daughter at one point, which almost caused a war, and then drugged her, with sacred religious and volatile drugs he stole, to give her powers, which could have killed her. He makes very bad decisions.
Northstar is a bit of an asshole. I'm going to be honest here... I'm not really a Northstar fan. I think it kinda defeats the purpose of Marvel having speedsters in the first place if Northstar is ten times faster than them. It'd be like if Superman was faster than the Flash. It just kinda sucks the air out of Marvel speedsters in general. Like, cool, this random mutant can fly way faster than the speedsters and they have no chance in hell at being faster than him. That's great I guess.
Makkari I'm not super familiar with. I do like Marvel but I definitely don't have the same in-depth knowledge on Marvel lore as I do for DC lore.
Oh also there's Speedball. I think he would count as a speedster? It's been a while since I've read his stuff. If I remember correctly he absorbs energy and then uses it to bounce around at superspeed and create kinetic energy fields. He's connected to space and time and he can control kinetic energy and motion. He can control his molecules and one time he used his kinetic energy to make a suit. He doesn't run but he's still the closest thing Marvel has to a DC speedster.
It is.... extremely unfortunate what happened to him. They took a good, fun loving, nice, happy and wholesome guy and made him the catalyst for Civil War. Had him be responsible for a city blowing up. Took this sweet kind guy and made him a reckless asshole who killed thousands. Then they gave him an edgy make over and had him come back as the darker meaner bader version of himself. Anyway. I was a Speedball fan. Civil War trashed his character though.

you meet joel again after the outbreak and he finds out you have a daughter
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
seeing joel again after the outbreak was something you thought would never happen, but there he was, twenty years later, with almost completely gray hair and beard, and looking more tired than he used to. his brown eyes shone when he saw you, thinking that you were some sort of hallucination produced by tiredness, but your arms hugging his neck felt so tight and your head against his chest felt too real to be a creation of his mind.
he gulped nervously and took a few steps backward when you took the little girl in your arms as if he was scared of the little human. you had always been very good with children so he wasn't surprised that you were now taking care of them in jackson. because that's what it was, wasn't it? you were looking after someone's child, right?
"this- this is my daughter, joel." oh shit. your face expressed concern, waiting for a reaction from the man in front of you, but his eyes were locked on the child in your arms. he should have guessed. enough time passed, you were a grown woman and life was good in jackson, probably the best place on earth right now to start a family. he softly nodded his head, trying not to show how shocked he was. the baby was sucking on her finger, cooing and doing that stupid baby sounds like she was mocking him. "congrats" was all he could say.
he was waiting for you to introduce him to the father of your daughter, but you never did, it was as if you were torturing him slowly. maria wanted to put joel and ellie in the house across the street from hers and tommy's, but you offered them to stay with you.
"oh, that place has been untouched since the outbreak, i actually think only the heat works." you cut tommy off when he was saying that it was decent. joel was gonna decline your offer but ellie, who had been tickling your daughter's belly and playing with her tiny hands until that moment, was quicker than him on saying that they'd love to.
he hated to see that baby. joel hated her chubby cheeks and her small hands trying to reach for him every time he was near. he also hated tripping over her toys around the house and how she cutely laughed when ellie played with her. he hated seeing her wrapped in a towel like a burrito after her bath and he hated to see her cheeks and nose red from the cold weather, and how she stomped when she was wearing her big coat and fell on her ass in the snow.
"so, where's the dad?" ellie asked you with her mouth full of food. joel gave her a look that would have killed her and huffed. there was truly no way this kid was shutting the fuck up. "you don't have to -" "no, it's fine." you assured joel while making sure that your daughter was liking her food. you threw a glance at joel to see his reaction and he was looking at you with his face more relaxed than usual. his brow was not furrowed and his eyebrows were arched, trying not to show how interested he was in your answer but at the same time very annoyed because of ellie being so nosy. "he left." "shit- i'm sorry." you shook your head. "it was before she was born. it's better this way, you know? if he was gonna be a shitty dad, i prefer him not to be around." "hell yeah. fuck him." ellie said while nodding her head in agreement with what you were saying. joel threw another deadly glance at ellie after she cursed in front of you and your kid. " i bet you are the coolest mom, right joel?" ellie's words made you giggle but you were also waiting for joel's answer. it was easy for him to empathize with you since you were going through the same thing he went through with sarah. he found it very easy to be a single parent. sarah was the best kid and he had you and tommy to help him. but you were alone, you lived alone, you had to go to work, and you had to take care of your daughter. he clenched his jaw. "that's right."
when you showed them your house, ellie loved it. she lay down on your couch, she opened your fridge, she sat in front of the fireplace, she turned the lights on and off multiple times, checking that they were indeed working. joel told her to stop but you assured him that it was okay, you liked seeing the girl so excited over such small things.
joel on the other hand was static next to you while ellie played around. your daughter was looking at him with her head resting on your shoulder, and joel looked at her from time to time only to find that the baby was still staring at him.
you showed them the rest of the house. ellie had her own room, which was meant to be your daughter's future room but she could have it, and you would share your room with joel. but after seeing his face, you thought it might have been a better idea to offer him the guest room.
"we also have a guest room. there's no bed but there's a couch and the heat doesn't work there but if you want-" "oh no, old joel will be great here." ellie appeared behind him, giving a few pats on his shoulder. you smiled at the girl but waited for an answer from joel. he was trying so hard to ignore the crib next to your side of the bed and how the little girl was sitting in the middle of the mattress, playing with her stupid little toys and violently sucking on her pacifier. instead of that, he decided to remember all those nights sleeping with ellie either in the woods or in the car, and the way he could hardly move when he woke up the next day because his body ached so much. but joel also remembered how good it felt being your little spoon and waking up next to you. of course, he didn't expect things to be like they used to be, but probably sleeping next to you was the only thing he had left of what once was his home. "this is okay." "great! and it's not as if we haven't slept together before, so..." you added trying to downplay the issue. "woow." ellie was so interested in this. "how is that?" "no-" "we were neighbors, and sometimes we-" "enough."
you knew why joel was so distant with your daughter. meanwhile, ellie loved to be around her, joel tried as hard as he could to keep his distance. you lived next to them and in the afternoons you helped sarah with her homework. you stayed with them for dinner and then enjoyed a movie or played some board games with them. the night the outbreak started, joel knocked on your door and told you to go inside his truck immediately. you were familiar with the relationship joel had with his daughter and you knew what a shock it had been to lose her. that's why you didn't blame him for his behavior.
"is she okay?" joel asked you half asleep and you hummed in response. "she's just hungry. i'm sorry. you can go back to sleep." you sat on the edge of the bed, rubbing the sleep of your eyes and picking her up in your arms. you mumbled something to her and kissed her forehead while you started to softly rock her in your arms. "no. how can i- how can i help?" joel sat on the bed and waited, noticing how she calmed down after you took her in your arms. the light coming from the street illuminated your silhouette and allowed Joel to appreciate your daughter's wet face. "hm- i need her bottle. it's ready in the kitchen. if you could heat it in the microwave for like a minute, that would be great." while he waited, he couldn't help but think of baby sarah in his arms. her cheeks were wet and her eyes were wide open, joel had to leave early in the morning for work but he didn't mind staying with her up all night if it was necessary. joel was trying to distract her until her bottle was ready, letting her small fingers wrap around his big one. joel had to take a few seconds before going back to the room with you, his hand pressed against his chest trying to control his breathing. once he came back with the baby's bottle, he sat by your side, handing it over to you and nodding after you thanked him. he watched as she enjoyed her meal and as you softly rocked her in your arms. your head fell on joel's shoulder and he didn't know what to do so he just stayed with you like that until you finished feeding her.
"i'm late. i'll see you at lunchtime." you couldn't be late another time, maria will literally kill you. you placed your daughter in joel's arms before you could remember how hesitant he had been with her and he had no other choice but to hold her so she wouldn't fall.
"are you okay? do you want me to take her?" ellie asked after seeing joel's shocked face. he held the little girl with outstretched arms, keeping her away from him. the baby cooed and extended her arms wanting to reach joel. she opened and closed her fist, getting really impatient and starting to make sounds of discomfort. the man frowned and had no other choice but to hold her against his chest. "shit... well done, joel. look, she even seems to like you." ellie added when the girl hid her face in joel's neck.
a few days after that he seemed to be closer to your daughter, you even caught him playing with her rattle, your daughter lying in her crib and with her arms up in the air trying to reach the toy. he was serious, not allowing himself to show how he really felt. your baby laughed with him and you decided to leave the room carefully to not interrupt the moment.
he started with small things like letting her hold his thumb between her fist every time he noticed she was staring into his soul again, and always keeping an eye on her when ellie was helping her to walk in the snow in case she fell or got tired of trying. then joel started feeding her, cutting the fruit into very small pieces, making sure that the milk wasn't too hot or too cold. at first, just sitting by your side but she was too distracted by his presence to eat so he had to start feeding her eventually.
you sighed in exhaustion once you entered your house. "i'm so tired." you sighed again and rested your head on joel's shoulder. your baby was half asleep on joel's arm, visibly comfortable by the way she cooed every now and then and by the way she rubbed her face against his arm. joel was rocking her softly. using one finger you tickled her belly to let her know that you were home. he put her in her pajamas, fed her dinner and you would even say that he had bathed her by the way her little curls were still damp. "she likes you." you said. he brought the pacifier to her mouth and with closed eyes, she quickly caught it with her lips. "she likes you more than me." "that's not true." joel spoke with a low voice, being careful not to be too rough and wake the child up. he turned his head to look at you, his eyes finally leaving your daughter to pay attention to you. you also looked at him with your head still resting on his shoulder. "you like her more than me." you pouted, trying to stay focused on his deep brown eyes and not on his lips and how close his mouth was to your face. "also not true." you smirked and moved one of your hands to play with your daughter's. she squeezed your index finger tightly between her tiny fist while joel kept looking at you. all that you had now should have been with him. your daughter, your house, your life. before the outbreak happened, one night drinking a few glasses of wine at his house after sarah went to sleep, you told him what you hoped your life would be like. you wanted to find your person and maybe even get married, you wanted to travel, moved in with them, start a family, raise your children, have movie nights. not much different from what you had with him at that time. you were almost there, touching your dreamed life with your fingertips, if you only had more time... when joel realized, your eyes were on him again and you had his chin between your thumb and index finger. your thumb brushed his lower lip, testing the waters, and his eyes slowly closed. you understood that as a green light to continue so, you leaned towards him and pressed your lips against his. just like that, no need to move them or rush things. you just missed feeling his lips against yours as much as he did. the kiss lasted ten seconds at most, but it was enough time for your breaths to mix and for joel's body to truly relax after months. you showed a little smile to him after the kiss and the soft look on his face let you know that he was satisfied. you went in for another kiss and he had his eyes closed already but then all of a sudden, your daughter on joel's arm started crying. "oh, i think someone's jealous."

Cruel Summer (Thomas Shelby x Reader)
Tumblr media
Summary: Y/N tries to move on after seeing Thomas with another woman. Thomas comes back after weeks wondering where Y/N went.
Based on this anon ask:
“Hello! Can you please do Tommy is jealous that Y/N is moving on after having a crush on him for years but he was too focused on Grace? He realizes that he loves Y/n more than Grace after seeing her with another man”
Word Count: 2718
TW: drinking, alcohol
(Sorry it took me sooo long! Hope you all enjoy!)
————————————
It’s been weeks since I slept after finding out that Tommy was with Grace. It shook my nervous system in ways I didn’t expect it to. I shouldn’t care as much as my heart actively does. I stopped going outside to water my plants. I stopped eating breakfast and lunch. The only thing I could hold down was tea. It took many days to feel like a person again. The night I caught them kissing at the derby my heart shattered into a thousand tiny pieces. I hadn’t seen Tommy since that day, and I swore to myself that I wouldn’t plan on it. I ran out of that stadium and never looked back.
Strangely enough as one door closed another began to open. Thomas’ brother John had knocked on the door to my townhome one early morning. I answered the door in my pajamas, with my hair messy and wild, sipping a cup of tea out of one hand. “John?” I asked him, looking ahead of him to see if anyone else was with him. He stood there with a perfectly dry-cleaned suit on and his hair slicked back.
“Have you seen Tommy around?” He questioned; his demeanor was so serious that it almost felt like an interrogation.
I turned furious in an instant. “You really think I’ve seen him? I haven’t been out in weeks. What makes you think he’d be with me?” I shouted.
“Aye come off it. I didn’t mean anything by it. Last time I saw he was off to the woods for some gypsy thing. No one's seen him since…are you okay Y/N?” John asked sincerely.
“I’ll be fine John” I mumbled, looking down at his shiny black leather shoes. I took another sip of tea before I felt John’s hand on my cheek, slowly lifting my head up with his thumb so out eyes would meet.
“I know yer not” He sighed. I shook my head slowly and he rushed himself through the door, making his way into my kitchen. “Y’know Y/N if i had known any better I would have come by sooner…just haven’t seen you around…i thought you’d be coming by the betting shop any day now” He admitted.
“John, I barely make it out of my bed most days what makes you think I’d even make it to the betting shop?” I hissed.
John smiled, then realized what i said and how severe it was. His demeanor changed into a melancholic look, and he walked over to me. “Don’t tell me that” he said with his lips trembling. “Why have you done this, Y/N what happened?” John questioned me.
I looked down at the floor and then back up at him. His brown eyes stared me down until something came out of my mouth. “I just…saw him with her” Tears started to form in my eyes.
“Oh, fook me Y/N, him? You have feelings for him?” John asked. “You deserve so much better than my sorry excuse of a brother. He may be my brother, but he has flaws Y/N. Flaws that you are nowhere near” He told the truth and I believed him for once. I always knew Tommy had big dark secrets. I just didn’t know how bad they were and maybe that was for the best. “We’re going out tonight. You and me, eh?” John insisted, holding my hand as he spoke. I smiled for the first time in a long time. I wasn’t ready but with John i felt like i could take a leap. “Put a nice dress on, I’ll pick you up at 8” John said and kissed my cheek. I blushed involuntarily as I watched him walk out of my townhome confidently. He always had this charisma about him, all of the Shelby brothers did. It was effortless to them.
At around 6:30pm I started getting ready. I put on winged black liner on my eyes, and slipped on a tight black dress with lace trim.
At exactly 8pm just like he said, John arrived in front of my house to pick me up. I decided to walk out of my home and saw John get out of the car immediately. He raced up to the passenger door and opened it for me. “You know I would’ve knocked on your door” He stated.
“I figured, but I was impatient” I smiled back at him.
“Well you look absolutely stunning tonight” John complimented. I nodded in his direction and tucked a piece of my hair behind my ear.
“So where are we going?” I asked him with a smile.
“You’ll see very soon” John stated and shut the door once i got in. He drove us to a bar that i had never been to. We went in and he got us drinks right away. I sat quietly in a booth with him as we giggled about old times and drank beer to our hearts content. After a few hours John cursed out of nowhere. “Fook me I forgot to pick up Arthur from the Garrison. Linda’s gonna have my arse” He groaned as he got up from the booth.
“I-It’s okay John I can go with you” I sighed. Maybe John was right. Maybe Tommy didn’t dare show his face in this town anymore.
John nodded at me and went up to the bartender to pay his tab, then we went back to his car and drove to the Garrison. John turned the car off and turned his attention to me. “Are ye sure you want to come in?” He asked politely.
“I’ll be fine John” I placed my hand on his and gave him a small smile. He held my hand for a minute in return before letting go and getting out of the car. He walked to the passenger side and opened my door, letting me get out before he slammed the door shut. We walked into the Garrison with our hands intertwined and John yelled out for Arthur. He was drunk off of his face, sitting at the bar and laughing with a random man I’ve never seen before. And by the looks of Johns confused face, neither did he.
“Alright Arthur come with us. Don’t wanna keep that Linda waiting do we” John spoke, trying to coax Arthur out of his drunken state.
Arthur looked at John and back to his drink then guzzled his entire glass of dark liquor in one go. “I’m waiting for Tommy. He said he’d be back” He slurred.
John groaned audibly, “Arthur, Y/N and I are taking you home. Tommy’s not coming he-“
“He what” Thomas spoke from the bar’s entrance. My stomach turned and I no longer felt happy from all those drinks like I did a minute ago.
Thomas and I exchanged quick glances before his gaze went back to his brothers. John stood in shock for a moment but it quickly faded to anger. “You don’t get to just leave us without an explanation Tom” He growled.
“I never left. Did I Arthur?” Thomas asked and walked up closer to the two brothers.
“Aye. He’s been out with his woman I reckon” Arthur raised his empty glass in support but Thomas grew furious.
“Never said anything like that you drunken bastard” Tommy growled.
“You didn’t have to” John huffed and walked towards me. He motioned to go out the door and i nodded my head in agreement, taking his hand once more.
“Where the hell are you two going?” Thomas roared from behind.
“We’re leaving for the night. You enjoy Arthur” John smiled before leaving the bar with me. I walked out of the garrison with John and felt myself crumbling. I walked the cobblestone street to get to his car and stopped.
“John…I need to go home” I croaked out.
“Y/N Please tonight was supposed to-“ He pleaded.
“John I need to go right now” I huffed, nearly running to the car at this point.
I made it to the car and opened the door myself, hopping in as fast as I could. John got in and slammed his driver side door, turning the car on angrily.
“I didn’t want this to happen” He sighed.
“What?” I asked grumpily.
“Just all of it. Fuckin Tom” He growled.
“Just take me home, John” I mumbled. Completely over seeing Thomas in person. I just wanted to climb into a hole and die.
The ride home was silent. Nothing but John’s breathing and cursing under his breath. It took us 15 minutes until I finally made it home. I made it home and rushed out of the car, slamming the door and storming into my townhouse after unlocking the door. I closed the door behind me and locked it, making sure no peaky ever got in.
I stepped into my kitchen and ran to the cupboard beside my refrigerator. I opened it and took out the bottle of red wine that had been sitting there for months. I went to fetch a bottle opened from the drawer beside it and heard a loud knock at the door.
“Leave me alone John” I shouted and proceeded to open the bottle of wine. I twisted the cork and it popped out of the bottle. Then yet again another knock. “I told you to leave me alone!” I yelled. I sighed deeply and got a wine glass out of my upper cabinets, pouring wine into my glass and taking a large swig.
Suddenly the knocks on my front door grew louder and i couldn’t take it anymore.
I cursed under my breath and stomped to the front door, unlocking it and about to curse out the person behind the door.
“I told you to leave me-“ I yelled until I saw who the person behind the door was. Thomas Shelby in the flesh.
“You can hate me all you want but do NOT get revenge by using my brothers” He argued with his baby blue eyes and perfectly styled dark hair.
“I wasn’t getting revenge anyone. It's something called moving on” I huffed and tried closing the door on him. Thomas held the door open and stared me down.
“Then why go out with John” He asked me with hurt in his eyes.
“It’s none of your business, Tom. Go home” I stated and tried to close the front door again, but it was no use.
“What the hell are you doing, Y/N?” Tommy asked angrily. I wanted to curse him out but instead I took a deep breath and stepped outside on the front stoop with him and shut the door behind me.
“Thomas I’m trying to move on. The same as you did weeks ago with that blonde girl. I’m tired of you being in my life” I huffed and nearly cried. Just a minute later rain started to pour onto us. I felt cold drops trickle down my shoulders and looked down at them sliding down my arms.
When suddenly Thomas asked me, “…Why don’t you want me in your life, Y/N” This time with a fallen face and broken-down demeanor.
Tears welled up in my eyes and I wasn’t prepared to tell him anything about what I saw those past weeks ago. “You need to go Thomas…I-I can’t handle this right now” I croaked and tried to pull myself together.
“I’m not going anywhere until you tell me what the fuck is going on” He raised his voice and stared at me deeply with his light blue eyes. The rain had trickled down his head by now, making his dark hair completely wet and straight. He looked good and it just pissed me off even more.
“I never kissed anyone in front of you! Never fucking liked…anyone other than you. And then you go off with other people disappearing for weeks” I cried out and avoided his gaze.
“I didn’t think you wanted me. You ignored me every time we all went drinking. That’s why I went for Grace, but she was using me. Trying to find our guns. Trying to end our company. That’s why I had to leave. I was off the grid” Thomas explained. I sighed and sat on my front steps. Not caring if the rain made me wetter, I just needed to think properly.
“I can't let you go Y/N. Not like this. Nothings started between us. I’ve never got to tell you how I felt” Thomas spoke from behind me.“Y/N look at me” He ordered. I turned to face him, and he stepped down a stair, sitting beside me with his body turned fully towards me.
“I rather die than hurt you. I wish I never did. I don’t want to lose you Y/N” Thomas confessed. I stared at him completely breathless, my hair dripping wet with rainwater. Thomas placed his hands on either side of my face. My eyes closed as I fell into his caress. “Please Y/N” He begged. I started to cry softly, and he wrapped me into his arms. Hugging me with an urgent tightness. I’ve never felt so comforted by anyone like that. “Tell me what you want…be honest, me or John” He gave me an ultimatum. My cheeks flushed a vibrant red color as I left his embrace and stared into his inviting gaze.
“You really don’t know who I like do you…” I asked him.
“I really don’t Y/N…you’re driving me insane right now. Waltzing in with him” He spoke with frustration.
“Me? Like you didn’t drive me to insanity weeks ago? You’ll be fine” I laughed in his face as the rain fully poured down onto us.
“I need you” He spoke, his voice much deeper than it was before.
“And I need a mental vacation but we don’t always get our way Thomas Shelby” I sighed and placed my hands on the stairs, holding myself up.
“Why are you doing this? You just figure when one person finally moves on that you can just come back, and everything would be normal again? You don’t understand how miserable I was because of you. John had to get me out of bed just to be a person again. And you think you can come over once and propose an ultimatum and make everything fine. I’m sick of it Thomas Shelby” I confessed with anger making my blood boil.
“Y/N…I’m sorry. For everything. I didnt know what happened to you. I didn’t even think you cared. No one told me where you went and i had to lay low. I wrote millions of letters i never got to send. I promise I will make everything up to you. Just tell me who you want the most” He pleaded and shuffled closer to me.
“It’s never been John…from the start you were the only person I wanted” I admitted. Getting near his familiar ocean blue eyes was enough for me to become lightheaded. He placed a hand on my wet cheek once more, staring back into my soul like he saw right through me. Rain drops trickled down his forehead making his jaw look even more chiseled.
He carefully placed his thumb on my bottom lip and swiped over it softly. “I’d really like it if you were all mine…permanently” Thomas growled.
“I’ve only been waiting for months” I mumbled out before he leaned in close and kissed me roughly like he yearned for this moment for centuries. The rain came down so hard i couldn’t think straight. I kissed him back. Tasting a mix of my own salty tears and rain water diluting them. I locked my lips against Thomas’ with him repeating back the same way. We shared sloppy, compelling kisses that didn’t stop until we both had to come up for air. When we did, Thomas pressed his forehead against mine and closed his eyes.
“I’ve wanted you for so long Y/N” He breathed.
“Me too.” I smiled. “Let’s go get warmed up. I have wine waiting inside” I offered.
“Sounds like a dream” Thomas spoke and stood up off of the stairs, grabbing my hand and pulling me up in one go. The night ended with us lying in bed without clothes, overly drunk and tangled in the sheets. His big arms holding me tight as we drifted off into a good night’s sleep.

Not quite sure how to go beyond the setup for this. Probably Buck 1.0 era, maybe later. Could really use more actual dialog.
Buck, Hen and Chimney are out drinking, Bucks been getting hit in a lot at calls as usual but it’s really ramped up. Somehow Buck decides he’s a little bit bored by the chase, they’ve had a few drinks, Chimney jokingly, mostly, bets Buck he can’t get a guys number. Always up for the challenge, Buck accepts. chimney spots a familiar face and decided to double his entertainment and ups the ante that he gets to pick the guy. Jokes on him - he doesn’t know Tommy is gay, Hen does. Hen just stifles a laugh and watched the 2 fools.
Basically Buck starts off just looking to win a bet but ends up leaving in Tommy’s arm, blowing kisses at Chimney and Hen, and Chimney spilling his beer all over himself.
Sorry for the delay in getting to this. Thanks for sending it 🩶
***
Buck gave a polite smile to the tall redhead. “Thank you, uh.. but I’m not, uh, I’m not dating right now “
“You break a girls heart.” She replied, jutting out her bottom lip for effect.
“Sorry. Nice to meet you.” He nodded and made his way back to the table where Chimney and Hen were waiting.
“Are you sick?” Hen asked, placing the back of her hand to Bucks forehead.
“What? No. Why?” He gently swatted her hand away.
“Because that’s the 4th woman who’s hit on you tonight that you’ve turned down.” She told him. He sighed.
“I know, it’s just.. I dunno. I’m just bored of the chase I guess. I mean, it’s the same game every-time: we talk, I make a joke, she smiles, we both laugh, our shoulders touch, there’s a moment, I lean in a little closer, she doesn’t resist.. one drink, two compliments later and we end up in bed together having totally meaningless sex.” Buck complained, to which Chim couldn’t understand.
“Yeah that sounds awful.” He replied.
“I’m just saying I want, I need, something different. To get off the hamster wheel, ya know.”
“You could always date a guy.” Chimney suggested. Buck looked at him with a raised brow. “Well you said you wanted something different.”
“I love women. I’ve always loved women.” Buck told him.
“True. Plus you couldn’t get a guys number anyway.” Chim said sipping his beer.
“Uh, I could get anyone’s number.” Buck argued if a little arrogantly. But he absolutely could be charming as hell when he wanted to be, and he had had plenty of men hit on him over the years.
“Wanna make that a bet, Buckeroo!” Chim asked.
“What’s the bet?”
“You get a guys number. I’ll do your hose maintenance checks for a month.” He said.
Buck scoffed. “Easy.”
Chimney caught sight of a familiar face stood at the bar and smirked, deciding to make it more interesting. “But I get to pick the guy.”
Buck raised an eyebrow again. “Who do you have in mind?”
“That guy.” He pointed with his beer bottle to the tall, muscular man at the bar. Buck looked over the the man with deep cleft in his chin. There was something about a cleft that always intrigued him. Sometimes he found himself wondering what it would feel like to put his pinky into one.
“Alright. Prepare for boring hose maintenance, Chim.” He downed the last of his bottle and walked over to the bar.
“Chim?” Hen questioned
“Yeah?” He answered watching Buck walk across the bar.
“Why did you pick Tommy?”
“Because he’s the straightest man in the room. No way Buck will get his number.” He laughed. Hen looked at him with incredulity. “What?” Hen opened her mouth to speak but thought against it.
What Chimney didn’t know was that just before Tommy had left the 118 he’d come out to her. She decided not to say anything to Chim because she didn’t know if Tommys sexuality was public knowledge yet and didn’t want to out him to anybody else, even if it was her best friend.
“Nothing.” She replied, leaning back in her seat to watch Buck.
Buck found his heart rate increasing as he got closer to the man. He stood next to him, eyeing the bottle he had in his hand trying to think of an opener.
“Hey, uh.. what’s that beer like?”
The man’s eyes met Bucks and blinked in surprise for a moment at the dirty blonde in front of him.
“You thinking of changing things up?” He asked.
“I mean I’m happy with what I usually drink, but, I want to keep my options fluid. Have some fun .”
Tommy laughed. “You need to raise your bar, kid.” He smiled and Buck found his stomach doing a weird swoop thing. He dipped his head and looked up at the man. Tommy couldn’t help but smile at the adorable man in front of him.
The man’s smile was soft and honest and Buck felt a surge of guilt. He felt like he was tricking the guy and that wasn’t fair on him.
“Okay, full disclosure, this is my first time flirting with a guy. Don’t look, but my friend Chimney bet me that I couldn’t get a man’s number.” Buck admitted. A look of familiarity came across Tommys face.
“Chimney? You mean Howie?”
“Yeah! Wait you know him?” Buck asked in surprise.
“Know him? He saved my life.” Bucks eyebrows raised in surprise and Tommy explained. “Back when I was at the 118. Big methane leak. He carried me out of the building.”
“Wait, I remember him telling that story.” Buck said remembering.
“Tommy, by the way.” He held out his hand.
“Evan.” Buck shook his hand and held longer than he usually would. Tommy looked down at their joined hands then back up to Buck who blushed and released his grip.
“So, Evan. I think you’ve been had.” Buck looked confused. “I’m gay.” He said plainly.
“Oh.” Buck, for an unidentifiable reason, felt a feeling of relief at hearing that.
“Is that a problem?” Tommy asked.
“What? No! I-I’m an ally. Every year I put a rainbow on my instagram.” He said excitedly.
“Good to know.” Tommy said. “So what do you get if you win the bet?”
“Chim does my hose maintenance checks for a month.”
“Interesting.” Tommy responded before finishing the last of his beer. “Well, Evan. If we’re giving full disclosure - I think you’re adorable. So I’m going to help you win the bet.” Buck found he had to make a little more effort to breath.
“Yeah?”
“Is Howie watching you?” He asked keeping his face towards the bar. Buck subtly looked across at Hen and Chim.
“Yeah. They’re still watching.”
“Good. Hand me your phone.” Buck pulled his phone from his pocket and unlocked it, handing it to Tommy.
“I am going to put my number in your phone. Then, just to mess with him, you’re going to take my arm and walk out of the bar with me. That okay?” He said handing Buck his phone back. Buck felt a whoosh of butterflies come alive in his stomach.
“Y-yeah. That’s o-okay.”
“Good.” Tommy replied taking a step away from the bar. “You ready?” He asked and Buck nodded. He slid his arm around Tommy’s, turning his head to meet the eyes of Hen and Chim. For extra measure he winked and blew them a kiss. Hen had a knowing smile on her face while Chims mouth was agape having no idea how the hell Buck had managed to win the bet.
Ten minutes later Bucks entire world was being flipped upside down by Tommy’s tongue grazing softly along his own as Tommy had him pressed against the door of his car.

Pairing = Thomas Shelby x OC

Warnings = Language, Grammar,  Alcohol, mentions of selling a person. Mentions of possible Death.
Word Count = 2040
Note = Thank you all for the continuous support and patience when it comes to this story. I am slowly but surely getting back on track. Please enjoy, there is a bit of a shock at the end of this, I don’t think any of you are expecting it? At least not vocally. Love you all, you are honestly the best!
Tumblr media
Standing next to the cooker I continued to cut the carrot into smaller, more manageable pieces before putting the cut pieces into the simmering pot of hot water. My mind was continuously going back and forth as to whether or not I should go and say goodbye to my parents.
After the conversation I had with my father yesterday, I felt upset. I had forgiven him for using me as leverage with the Changretta’s - after understanding the predicament he had found himself in. It wasn't a nice situation and at that time he had agreed to what he had to do, to protect his family.
I found myself upset, not due to the situation but because I knew I was going to miss him. We hadn't spoken in weeks. This was a man who raised me and showed me how to perfect my passion for tailoring. He supported my relationship with Tommy even when my mother didn't, he had tried to correct his mistake long before I knew about it.
He wasn't perfect, but he was my father.
My apprehension about returning to the tailor shop came because of my mother. She never supported my relationship with Tommy. After finding out about our relationship she treated me like I was nothing more than a common criminal. A whore you would find walking the streets looking for her next customer to provide a living for herself.
I never properly understood her complete hatred for our relationship until a conversation I had with Esme one evening - when the boys were drinking at the Garrison.
She explained to me how it felt to go into public before marrying a Shelby. The jeering, the abuse and the racial slurs she was subjected to was disgusting. She was a beautiful woman, with gorgeous brown hair with chocolate eyes, ridiculed because of her ethnicity.
I couldn't believe my mother would be so shallow but I shouldn't have been surprised. Thinking back to her mother and how she would speak about other people, it should have been glaringly obvious. I was just surprised I didn't carry on the same traits.
No, I carried after my father's mother, my grandmother Sophia. She was a good, kind-hearted woman, unafraid to stand up for what she believed in. Always there when someone needed her, taken too soon just after the Great War.
Reaching up I scratched just above my eyebrow with my third finger, knife still balancing in my hands when I heard the front door of my apartment open.
Instant panic chilled me to the core as the footsteps started to shuffle towards me. Tommy wasn’t due home until later tonight, information relayed to me late yesterday evening by Esme after her shift at the betting shop.
Clutching the knife tightly in my hands, I swallowed back my fears turning around in my spot. Keeping my back pressed against the counter, the shadow of the person peered through the opened door.
Shakily holding the knife out in front of me, I prepared myself for when the person finally revealed themselves. I was unsure of what I would do with it but silently prayed that the presence of the knife alone would scare whoever it was off.
“Damn it, Tommy,” I growled, breathing out a sigh of relief when he appeared around the door frame. My heart was beating so fast in my chest that I found it hard to regulate my breathing once again, dropping the knife to my side. “What are you doing here? I thought you weren’t back till tonight?”
“I can always leave again if you want.” He smirked, his blue eyes travelling from the knife by side, back up to my eyes. His eyebrows raised, silently questioning the intentions I had with the weapon.
“I thought you were an intruder.” I sighed, turning on my heel to resume my chopping.
I was preparing one of his favourite meals, rabbit stew. I was following the recipe Polly had given me, a recipe written down by his late mother.  It was a meal she would make whenever her husband came home after months of being away or whenever she felt like her children needed a special pick-me-up.
The recipe called for the stew to be simmering on low heat for a few hours during the day. This allowed the meat to soften and the flavours to blend perfectly together. A hearty home-cooked meal.
“Do you think the men out front can't protect you?” He asked stepping up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist, and hugging me from behind.
“Of course I do, I just wasn’t expecting you.” I nodded, allowing myself to fall back into his embrace as his face nuzzled into my neck. His arms loosened slightly on my waist so that his hands were pressed against the bump that was steadily growing.
“Smells amazing Stace.” He inhaled the aromas flowing through the pot.
“Thank you love. Did you get the horse you wanted?” I asked, placing another carrot in front of me, ready to begin chopping once more.
“I always get what I want” Tommy cockily chuckled in my ear, taking the lobe between his teeth, the action sending a jolt of electricity straight to my core.
“That you do Mr Shelby.” I moaned, head lulling to the side, allowing his lips to work their way from the back of my ear to the column of my neck. “But I need to finish this before I have to leave, otherwise it will not be ready.”
“And where is more important than here in my arms Miss Adler?”
“My parents are leaving tonight, for Scotland,” I replied, the assault on my neck stopping at the mention of them. I felt Tommy pull his head from my neck, his hands moving to my sides, turning me around to face him. “My father visited yesterday...”
“Are you okay?”
“I’m fine Tommy, we talked. I forgave him” I sighed, looking him dead in the eyes. "I just have to let him go now, say goodbye."
Tommy simply nodded, pulling me close to him. His chin softly rested on the top of my head, he held me tightly against him. Nothing needed to be said, Tommy knew I had to do this. For myself more than anyone else.
******
Brushing down the front of my dress again, I re-adjusted my coat around my waist for what felt like the hundredth time. Walking down Marshcroft Street towards my former home and workplace, I felt strange and heavy. I had an overwhelming bad feeling.
"You look beautiful, stop fussing," Tommy spoke, bringing my attention from my coat and back towards him.
"I just don't want to give my mother something to pick on"
"It's your mother, Stace. You just have to breathe wrong." Tommy joked, lips wrapping around the end of his cigarette, pulling the nicotine into his lungs.
"Maybe this was a bad idea." I stopped just short of the shop, pulling Tommy to a halt next to me. "I have a bad feeling about it Tommy."
"You will regret not saying goodbye. That's why you are doing this" Tommy reminded me, his arm slipping behind my back as he pushed me toward the black doors.
Stopping outside the tailor shop, the first thing I noticed was the door was open. Glancing back at Tommy, he shook his head, hand reaching forward to pull me away so he could take the lead.
Quietly, he removed his gun from its holster, pulling out the weapon before slowly pushing the door open the rest of the way.
Rushing up behind him, I held my breath as he entered through the door, his gun raised. Glancing over at me, his eyes widened slightly at my closeness before continuing inside.
The memories came flooding back the second I stepped through the door. The good and the bad.
The shop was exactly how I left it the day I walked out. My desk still sat in the corner, the needles and thread still sitting where I had left them. It was like a museum of my life before.
"All clear," Tommy commented, placing the gun back in his holster, a confused look on his face as he took in the appearance of the shop. Nothing was packed away. It simply appeared as if it were closed for the evening, ready to start anew the following day.
"They must be next door." I nodded, running my fingertips along the wooden edge of my desk, moving towards my chair and taking a seat, grinning up at Tommy.
"What's that look for?" He asked, walking closer to me, lifting the fabrics that were sitting on the spare chair next to me and resting them on the desk.
"This is where it all started for us, well here and the betting shop." I mused, reaching over, and placing my left hand on his knee. The diamond engagement ring glittered up at us. "James sat right where you will sitting when he figured out how I felt about you."
"That right?"
"Mmm, it was the night you came to collect your suit. Taking me with you to Charlie's yard to repair the window."
"I remember the night well." Tommy nodded, pulling his cigarettes from his pocket, rolling the white sick along his plump lips before lighting it.
"You only wanted me to go with you so you could kiss me again." I giggled, feeling my cheeks heat up at the memory. The day, Thomas Shelby stole my first kiss and had me addicted to him.
Tommy looked over at me, an amused smile playing on his lips. His hand came up, taking the white stick from his mouth as he thought of a response.
"I was addicted that day, still am." I continued, pursing my lips together. The action brought a laugh from deep within Tommy's chest.
"I know the feeling all too well" Tommy commented, placing a hand over my own on his thigh and giving it a tight squeeze.
"I feel so lucky to have found you" I smiled, my head lolling to the side as I looked loving towards him. "Come on, let's find my father and go home for the evening. I can show you just how much I missed you"
"I can't say no to that now can I?" Tommy chuckled, taking my hand that was already in his to pull me to my feet and back out the door.
Standing outside the second door, I knocked gently on the wooden door, patiently waiting for a response but nothing. Trying again, I could feel Tommy's impatience next to me as we waited.
"Maybe they have gone early?" Tommy spoke, stubbing the end of his cigarette out on the wall next to the door. Peering into the living room window, when his entire body stiffened.
"Tommy, what is it?" I asked, taking a step forward only to be held away by his outstretched hand.
"Stace I need you to go get Arthur and John, now!" He spoke turning around to face me. His eyes darker than usual, the stress lines returning to the corner of them.
"Not until you tell me what's going on," I demanded, trying my best to push past him to look through the window but he wouldn't allow it. His hands wrapped around my hips stopping me from moving forward.
"Anastasia, I am serious"
"So am I Tommy. That is my parents I demand to know what is going on." I huffed out, determination clear in my eyes as I went to move forward once again. Tommy's grip loosened, but only slightly.
"Stace, look at me. Look at me." Tommy demanded, an unknown emotion glazing over his eyes as looked at me. A dark, sinking feeling churned in my stomach.
"Are they dead?" I asked with as little emotion as I could muster. I didn't want to fall apart, not yet.
Tommy inhaled sharply, holding his head high. Placing my hands over his wrists that were holding my hips, I gave a soft squeeze, silently telling him I would be okay with however he put the next few words to leave his mouth.
"It appears that way, Stace, yes."

Overhearing Tomys talk is so fun. 1. The kid is hilarious. 2. It gives us a lot of insight about how he works. He’s just a kid hanging with his friends. (I hope they do the explosions some time, I want to see Wilbur try and hide the fact that he’s loosing his shit about it).
Side note: [“What else is the point of your dad being a Duke if you can’t get your best friend out of jail?”] and Tobyn to the list of Rose characters I love. (Also, I fear for his life with that execution tag and cannon).
[“You know whose reaction to that I’d really want to see though? Lord Willum.”] on the bright side, Tomys is already thinking about Wilbur and clearly thinks him to be an interesting person. Also, he’s insulted his height twice now, I think someone’s jealous.
And he just got to the quickest way to learn that you should not randomly speak your mind where people could overhear you. Also, we get to see Wilbur thinking on his feet and turning the situation around. Though I’d argue Niki is better at it, but in Wilbur!s defense, she’s didn’t get insulted.
I feel like Tomys half says yes to Niki’ invite because Wilbur clearly doesn’t want him there and he wants to piss him of and half because he looks up to Niki, who is The Heir (or one of the options).
Oh Niki is going to be so screwed when Tomys gets chosen (don’t mind me putting my bets in early). She’ll have no home (in her mother’s defense, there was no other option when she sent her daughter off). Also, having Niki talk about what she actually think of Tomys to then have her be That nice to him is a very good show about her cleverness.
I do love that Niki playing the game does shake Wilbur up about playing it too, and I’m interested to see what he can do once he starts trying, because we already see him starting to drop the etiquette more to get in Tomys good books.

god writing that whole convo between tommy and tubbo and jack was so fun. I love their banter so much. they're all just kids!! tommy is a goofy kid who likes to play pranks and cause mischief and is completely oblivious to the violent game he's been thrown into
oh yeah tommy is so jealous of wilbur's height
lol yeah both niki and wilbur do a solid job at turning the conversation around back on tommy, but it's definitely niki who does it better. wilbur still would've been able to do it on his own but niki wins at social graces in situations like that.
in my mind tommy said yes to niki's offer for both those reasons. like, it was definitely at least somewhat because he wanted to annoy wilbur. but it was mostly because niki is the expected heir. she's spent nearly her entire life in the palace. she actually holds the rank of princess. not duke/duchess like quackity, but a princess. technically speaking, she's the second highest ranked person in the palace under sam. tommy is very intimidated by her but also wants to get to know her. also, he might be oblivious to most of the games, but he's not a total idiot. when the (likely) future queen invites you to talk, you talk.
I mean technically speaking niki could go back to Summerdam if things were to go to shit, it just wouldn't feel like home to her. it would keep her safe, but she wouldn't be happy there. partially because of the place, but mostly because wilbur wouldn't be there. he's been her closest friend nearly her entire life so far. she wouldn't do well if she were suddenly pulled away from him.
niki playing the game and inspiring wilbur to do the same was so satisfying to write. again, it's her propriety. she's learned how to be a lady and interact with people she dislikes. while wilbur knows he should do the same, he struggles more with it. so niki is leading by example, and wilbur is able to suck it up and go along with it.

20 Years of Clean (part 11)
My ceiling. That's what I've been staring at for the past 2 weeks it feels like. Two weeks since Brandon and I parted ways, not knowing when I'd see him again.
When we left Tampa he hugged me, gave me a sweet kiss to remember him by and just like that, the distance between him and became greater and greater as we drove away. Haley tip toed around conversation on the drive home. She knew that I was a lost puppy dog. "How was your night?" she asked me. Being sure to ease into the more complicated questions when we were halfway home. I told her amazing it was, how it was so easy being with him. "We kissed." My face instantly turning into a Tomato. "Oooooh. Was he a good kisser? I bet he was. He looks like one." With anyone else I probably would've slapped them silly but it was Hales and she meant no harm. She was a serial flirt. "It was better than I had hoped," sighing into the window. "It'll be alright Michelle. It's not like you'll never see him again." "I know. We just never have any time together. Extended periods of time. I've spent more time watching him on tv then actually being in a room with him." "If the tv's in the room then you're in the room with him," Haley giggled as I rolled my eyes at her. "I'm sorry. It's not funny. I'm just trying to cheer you up. Think about it 4 more weeks, granted they don't make it into the playoffs or the world series and he's all yours. Forever. He is retiring, isn't he?" she pondered out loud. The truth is, I didn't know. I knew nothing at that moment. "Let's change the subject. Did you and Tommy have fun?" Haley instantly perked up, "I'm so glad you asked..." for the next hour and a half she boasted about how much she liked Tommy, what they were doing next weekend, everything that made me jealous (in my current situation). But she was my best friend and that's what best friend do, listen. That's what I did the rest of the ride.
It's two weeks later and besides talking to her about Tommy ad nauseum and working, my days and nights were pretty boring. I would read, clean, and do household duties. I'd very rarely want to sit in the living room or the kitchen because they were stained (in a good way) with Brandons residue. Every time I looked or sat on that couch, I could smell the ocean and remember how comfortable it was in his arms. The only exciting occasions was when Brandon would call or text. He kept up the same routine, calling me during days games, texting me after night games because he knew I was sleeping. He was thoughtful that way. I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't sit up at night and wait for that night text. I never responded back until the next day though. Tonight was different though. It had been 3 nights in a row of night games and I missed his voice.
Brandon: We lost. Oh well. Miss you. Give me a call tomorrow, we need to talk. I'm off.
Me: I miss you. Sorry you lost. Want to talk now.
Brandon:..
The bubbles popped up then went away. Maybe he was tired. My phone started ringing. I bit my lip and went giddy at the thought of him calling me. "Hey," answering the phone. "Hey Babe. You're up late." When he calls me babe, it never gets old. "I told you I missed you. I haven't talked to you in days. I wanted to hear your voice." I could swear he was smiling over the phone. "Where you at," he asked me suspiciously. "I'm in bed, why?" Not knowing where this line of questioning. "Good. Just wanted a visual. I should be there with you," his voice all smooth and seductive. "A visual, you've never seen my room or my bed." "A man can dream can't he. Besides, I have an idea. Your bed is probably so comfy with a nice down duvet." He wasn't wrong. He had me pinned. "You're pretty close. That's pretty eerie." "What can I say. I'm good. How have you been," always interested in me, how I am, what I'm doing. "Lonely," feigning sadness. "Oh baby. You're breaking my heart. The things I would do to you if I was there, to make it all better." His chocolatey voice melting over my whole body, giving me goosebumps. "Like what," egging him on.

im posting the au b4 i watch any of the lore streems bc Jesus christ iwill NOT be normal. i bet
uuuhh so here is the, summary of it (also only going to b referring to c!dsmp members from here on)
it starts w tubbo acting kinda suspicious and purposefully avoiding talking abt or addressing his feelings (also literally anything about ranboo or michael. i hc that eret n phil usually step in n watch him 4 tubbo) as he walks around the smp kinda aimlessly until he sees tommy and they finally start talking again! and tommys been rlly worried abt tubbo bc they dont see each other as much n tubbo makes a rlly brief comment like "that wont be a problem for very long anyway" and toms assumes its just bc theyre reconnecting n plan on talking more often, but smthn about the way he says it feels wrong. he shrugs it off though
a couple days pass and tommy wakes up to find a note in his chest from tubbo!! and he says he has smthn rlly important and exciting to show him!! so toms takes a while to get ready and at some point stops bc he hears a huge fucking unnatural explosion sound waayyy off in the distance and he's like "oh thats bad. oh fuck wtf" and runs to the spot tubbo told him to meet up at to make sure tubbos okay and then . freezes in fear
bc the community house is blown up Again, but way worse than ever before. shit is on fire, the hole in the ground is way too steep and theres these weird snowy particles stuck in the air that make him feel funny when he touches them. the worst part is that tubbo is standing on a cobblestone tower in the middle of the crater and smiling at him like nothing happened.
tommy stares at him and asks why he looks so happy before tubs notices him and practically starts glowing w/ excitement. "oh my god hi!!! i didnt think youd show up already!! do u like what ive done w the place?? :D" and tommy just starts fucking shaking like "tubbo what did you do. why are you doing this" b4 tubbo does this big monologue abt how he finally finished developing a new weapon All on his Own and that now it could just be him and tommy again, but with no dream or sapnap or literally anyone else to get in the way this time!! and how he's so excited because now everything will make sense again and he doesn't have to think about things that ruin his psyche anymore and they never have to be apart again. at some point during the monologue tubbo starts staring at the sky, so tommy takes the opportunity to start tearing down the cobblestone tower while his best friend is distracted and forcibly interrupts his monologue to just fucking sit there and hug him. tubbo cries, probably for the first time in nearly a year, and tom tells him that he doesn't need to do all this crazy shit to keep them from splitting apart. hes still freaked the fuck out by everything that happened though and tubbo tells him that even if they repair the community house completely there will still be radiation in the area around it for, yknow, possible decades.
tommy realizes they could get caught for this and decides on the spot that the two of them are leaving. when tubbo asks what he means by that he starts spitballing a plan to say goodbye to phil and eret and everybody they still give a shit about and then run from the smp. tubbo takes a lot of convincing but eventually realizes it'd be safer for michael that way, and agrees to move away with him. tommy makes a point to say "if fuckin wilbur can do it, so can we." tubbo asks if they're just taking his orders out of habit again, and tommy reassures him that the decision they're making is their own because if he would never move to Fucking Utah; tubbo adds that he'd probably punch him in the dick if he ever saw him again anyway and tommy nearly cries laughing
they take Maybe a week doing what toms calls a "moving out speedrun" in which they start saying goodbye to the ppl they care about and this is p much where my idea ends. still have no idea how id tackle the ranboo situation at all but fuck it theres real lore now ig

s@shadowhuntingwriting submitted: Hi!!! Can I please get a preference imagine for the peaky blinders where they find out their (female) SO passed out due to being overworked after helping in the shop and not sleeping/eating
Sorry I have been MIA! Work and life have been crazy. But, I am dipping back into some of my requests and hope to get a few out soon! I changed this request a little so it wasn't just the shop the reader could work at, but the rest stays the same. Hope you don't mind!
I'm sure I got some things wrong with how the shop works, but hopefully, I didn't get anything glaringly wrong.
To make a request, you can find prompts here and here. Requesting guidelines here. You don't need to use a prompt to request.
You can even request preferences or suggest preference ideas! The easiest way for me to get to a request is if it is a preference!

Passing out...
Tumblr media
Tommy had been out of the office all day for work.
He was exhausted.
He had run across Birmingham on several different meetings he just wanted to get over with.
Meanwhile, You had been working your ass off all day at the shop.
Men placing bets had been relentless and constant.
Just when you thought you would finally have a minute to breathe, someone else came in needing this or that or everything in-between.
Esme was out for the day on account of the fact she was due any day now. Polly was busy with Michael somewhere else in the shop... so that had just left you and Lizzie to run the front.
When Tommy finally returned, things were just starting to settle down.
You were finishing up with a couple customers when it happened... you felt the world tilting on its side.
"Woah, uh, are you alright, Madam?" One of the men asked, carefully reaching out a hand to steady you.
Everything was buzzing in your ears as you sway on your feet.
"Y/N?" Tommy called over to you, leaning against the doorframe that lead to his office.
When you didn't respond, he raised an eyebrow.
But, before you could even make a sound, your eyes rolled into the back of your head and you were out.
"Y/N!" Tommy shouted, rushing over to you from the doorframe. He managed to catch you before your head hit the ground.
Lizzie rushed to get some water and a couple rags.
"What happened?!" Tommy shouted at the two customers standing there.
Both men rushed out that you just fainted, they hadn't done anything. Lizzie backed their story when she returned.
You woke up about 45 seconds after you were out. A cold washcloth was resting on your head. "What?..."
"Hey, hey... just relax," Tommy told you, giving you a reassuring smile. He picked you up into his arms, carrying you to his office for some more privacy.
Time seemed to progress slowly for you, but for Tommy, everything moved very quickly.
After you had drunk some water and eaten a small snack, Tommy started to ask questions.
"What happened? Are you ill?" He asked worriedly. You just shook your head.
"I didn't take a break today, from dawn until now. Don't think I've eaten today." You told him truthfully. "So no, not sick. Just in need of a good meal and some rest."
Tommy couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief, but he was still worried. "Do not do that again... you are with me. You take a break whenever you need one." He lectured before pulling you into a hug. "Please don't scare me again..."
"I will do my best." You promised, resting your head against his shoulder. It was a promise you intended to keep.
Tumblr media
John never wanted you working the front. He didn't want you to deal with unruly men trying to place bets.
Because of his wish, you ended up being his personal secretary.
While in theory, it would be less pressure, you couldn't help but spend long hours at the office.
One night you had stayed late, wanting to finish things up for your husband the next day. John had ranted about wanting to get something done the next day... so you wanted to surprise him by doing.
John had left to go drinking around 6pm and he got home at 1am. Thankfully, you two didn't have kids to worry about... yet.
That was part of the reason you wanted to get this work done. You wanted to spend more time with him at home the next day to tell him the good news... you two were expecting.
You finished the paperwork around 3am and felt dizzy, but pushed through it. You just drank some water and walked home.
Although, that dizziness did not stay away for long.
John was still awake when you got home. He had stayed out on the couch to keep an eye out for your return.
"Y/N, what took you so long?" He asked you, his words slurring together slightly.
You took off our jacket, hanging it up in the entryway.
"I was finishing up some work for you so we could spend the morning together... so you don't leave for work until past noon, mister Shelby." You teased him, walking over to the couch.
The fatigue and exhaustion came on so fast. Before you made it to the couch, you tripped over your own feet, falling onto John.
That sobered John up real quick. He sat up, wrapping his arms around you with concern. You were shaking, fighting hard to stay conscious.
"Y/N? Are you alright?" He asked you, grabbing his glass of water from the side table. John brought the glass to your lips, holding it while you sipped on the water.
"I-I'm pregnant." You managed to stutter out, just worried something was extra wrong. That was until you thought back on the day and realized you hadn't eaten since 6am.
"Oh- oh.." John mumbled as realization set in. "I'm calling Polly. She will know what to do. Or do you need a doctor? Sometimes pregnant women get dizzy. What about-"
"John, John." You interrupted him, adjusting yourself in his lap. "I forgot to eat today. I'm sure that's it." You explained, feeling some relief settle in yourself at that. "But we can talk to Polly in the morning after I've eaten something and gotten some sleep."
"Oh fuckin hell- you can't be doing that when pregnant. You're gonna give me a heart attack before I'm old." John sighed with relief, tightening his arms around your waist. He gave your cheek a kiss before he slowly let you go, standing up. "I-I am going to cook you a big meal and you will eat all of it. All."
"Yes, my love. I'm sorry for scaring you." You gave him apologetic eyes that he could never resist. "Try not to burn the house down with your drunk cooking."
"No promises... but I am going to make you and our baby the best drunk cooked meal you have ever tasted." John laughed, kissing your lips before he started towards the kitchen.
This would either end very well... or very badly.

If Michael truly had a say, you would never work another day in your life.
But, he wanted you to be happy, so he didn't say anything when you insisted on finding a job.
Although, you didn't want to be anyone's secretary, which was a majority of women's jobs.
You were lucky enough, though, to find yourself a job decorating cakes at a bakery in Birmingham.
Now, this was a job Michael loved you to have... and it definitely didn't have anything to do with the fact you brought home many baked goods.
It was Christmas time, which meant the bakery business was booming.
Your boss wanted you to come in whenever available, and since Michael was busy at the shop, you took on extra shifts.
Decorating cakes all day was good fun, but it was not fun when you were on your time of the month and had forgotten to take your iron pills.
Since you first got your time of the month, your iron would drop and leave you quite woozy. This day was no exception.
Michael decided to bring you dinner that night. It was December 23rd and he had hoped to spend some time with you, but between your schedules, there was little time.
"Coming to steal some more cakes?" You teased Michael, finishing up some finishing touches on another cake.
You were leaning against the table, your head swimming a little more than it should have been.
"If I had my way, I would be stealing you. And I don't like not having my way." Michael whispered, his hands resting on your waist from behind. He started to kiss your jawline, but you laughed, trying to shrug him off.
"Let me finish this cake at least!" You exclaimed, giggling when he tickled a soft spot on your side. He pulled back, respecting you wanted to finish working.
"Alright, but I'm gonna buy one of these cakes for us to share later... just us... with very little clothes." He whispered into your ear, setting out the sandwiches he brought for dinner.
You had just finished putting the finishing touches on the cake when you tilted forward. Before you knew what was happening, you were laying on your back, Michael kneeling worriedly beside you.
"Y/N? Are you okay!?" He exclaimed, gently pushing some hair from your face. One of his hands was behind your head to cushion it.
Your boss was frantically rushing around in the background, trying to help any way he could.
"How long was I out?" You mumbled, your vision slowly starting to clear back up. You tried to sit up, but Michael stopped you.
"Stay down, for now, take some deep breaths. You were out for about a minute." He told you, putting on a facade to appear much calmer than he was.
You wiggled your fingers and your senses started to return... only for you to realize you were covered in the cake you had just made. "No... not my cake." You whined, letting Michael help you drink water.
He helped you sit up slowly, letting you lean your weight on him. "You collapse and you're worried about your bloody cake?" Michael remarked, raising an eyebrow.
"I just forgot my iron pills, Michael, I'm fine." You shrugged him off, both Michael and your boss cringing a little. Discussing or even mentioning a period always made men squirm.
"Right, well, you are coming home with me." Michael cleared his throat, helping you to your feet.
While you didn't want to leave, you knew he was right. You waited in the car while Michael gathered your things. He returned with another one of the cakes you had decorated that day.
"Did he gift you that or did you just threaten my boss?" You remarked, raising an eyebrow teasingly.
Michael rolled his eyes, setting the cake where it wouldn't slide so much. "Is it bad if I say both?"

Arthur didn't hear of your fainting spells until Ada stopped by his home.
You had collapsed at the shop and were taken to the hospital since you were out for several minutes. No one could rouse you from unconsciousness.
Arthur had been home that day since he and Tommy were in a disagreement. They needed a day apart.
"Ada! To what do I owe the pleasure." Arthur smiled at the sight of his sister, opening his arms for a hug.
Ada gave him a quick hug, but her expression was one of fear and concern. Arthur's face fell. "What happened?" He asked, his mind running through worst-case scenarios.
"It's Y/N, Arthur. She collapsed at the shop. Polly couldn't wake her until the ambulance had just arrived. They've taken her to the hospital." Ada explained everything quickly, knowing Arthur had a tendency to panic if he didn't have the whole story.
Although, Ada didn't really have a happy ending for him.
"Why did she collapse? Why wouldn't she wake?" He asked worriedly, rushing back into the house to grab his jacket and his keys. "Which hospital, Ada? I need to see her."
"Same hospital we always end up at, Arthur. Come, I'll drive you. You're in no fit state to drive with all that worry." Ada grabbed his arm, pulling him in the direction of her car.
Very few words were exchanged on the drive. It didn't take too long, but Arthur felt like hours had passed before Ada finally pulled up outside the hospital.
She had barely stopped the car before Arthur had leaped out, rushing inside. He asked the nurses after you, and given his last name, he was led directly to your room.
You were sitting up in a hospital bed, a doctor listening to your heart rate as you went from lying down to sitting up. You had gotten something to eat and drink, which made you feel significantly better.
"Y/N?! Bloody hell, you're pale. What happened, dear?" Arthur asked in a panic, the doctor thankfully having gotten what he needed before the noisy interruption.
"I'm just fine, Arthur. I forgot to eat breakfast and lunch today. I'm feeling much better." You promised him; the doctor was ready with his diagnosis.
"She is correct, sir. I believe this was a lack of nutrition for the day, but I want to keep you overnight for observation to be sure." The doctor informed Arthur and you, but he mainly spoke to Arthur. As a married woman, Arthur was technically the one 'in charge of you.
"That's a relief to hear, thank you. Yeah, she can stay overnight. But, I'm staying with her." Arthur informed the doctor, giving him his 'do not fuck with me' look.
"Of course, sir." The doctor nodded before leaving the room.
"You didn't have to give him a threatening look. I'm fine, just need to remember to eat." You assured him, giving him a kiss.
"Just want the best for you, always. I'll be reminding you daily now, aye? You gotta remember to eat." Arthur held you close, just relieved everything was alright. He had been terrified for the last hour. "Please, don't scare me like that again, yeah?"

Finn knew something was wrong the instant John guided you into the house.
You and Finn had been in an explosion recently. Neither of you two was very injured, but Finn had been ordered to take the week off while his mild burns started to heal.
What had been unknown to you both is that you hit your head harder than you thought in the blast.
You had gone into the shop to pick up some work for Finn. You had been on your feet all day looking after him, running errands, etc etc.
While you had eaten meals and drank water, that didn't stop a dizzying headache to swell up in your head.
"Y/N! Finn isn't driving you mad, is he?" John teased when you walked in, leaning against a table as he smoked a cigar. The family had been chatting after a meeting, so you didn't disrupt too much.
"No more than the usual." You joked, giving them all a small smile. You stumbled slightly, leaning against the wall to settle yourself.
Polly noticed, she always seemed to notice everything. "Are you alright, dear? Not up the duff, are you?" She asked, raising an eyebrow.
That got everyone to quiet down, all eyes turning towards you. You paled, unsure if it was from dizziness or embarrassment.
"Not to my knowledge, no. I'm just here to pick up some work for Finn to do while he's at home." You informed them, your voice quieter than before.
"Relax, dear, I'm just teasing you. Arthur, get Finn's work for Y/N." Polly gave you a reassuring smile before she ordered Arthur about.
"Finn needs something to do. I can't get him to focus on a book and he is insufferable when he is bored." You laughed, moving past the whole pregnancy question.
"Always has been, even as a young boy," Polly remarked, about to say something else when you leaned hard against the wall. You managed to lock eyes with John before your knees gave out. Your eyes rolled into the back of your head and you were out.
John had dropped his cigar and slid on his knees in time to catch you... which is what lead to John taking you home to Finn.
You were conscious after a few seconds but were still dizzy when John got you into the house.
"Y/N?" Finn called, his voice cheerful until John helped you into the room he was in. Finn's smile dropped clear off his face. He lept off the couch, rushing to your side. Despite the pain from his burns, he took your weight from John and lead you to the couch.
"She collapsed. Polly thinks it's either women's business or she did get hurt from that bloody explosion. Pol's on her way here, she was just stopping to get some food for ya." John explained since you were still out of it.
"Mhmm." You mumbled, resting your head on Finn's shoulder.
"Thank you, John... I can handle her until Polly gets here." Finn assured him, adjusting you in his arms. You let him move you, just focused on staying awake.
John got you some water before he left, sitting on the front steps just in case he was needed again.
"Did you hit your head in that explosion?" Finn asked you, carefully running a hand through your hair. You flinched when he touched a particularly soft spot.
"Yeah... it's not too bad. Just a flesh wound and some headaches." You mumbled, just wanting to take a nap.
"Right, seems a bit more than just that. But I don't lecture you while you're hurting. Come on, let's relax." Finn suggested, also wanting to keep you awake. "How about I heard that book you gave me out loud?"
"Perfect..." You whisper, relaxing while being spooned against his body. Finn's voice kept you awake and relaxed... the perfect way to recover.

Tommy Shelby- Feeling Guilty
Tumblr media
I have grown up alongside Tommy and his brothers as our mothers were best friends. When their mother died I was their for all of them, being similar age as Tommy I helped them raise Finn. When the boys went away to war I was allowed to help Polly and Ada in the betting shop. When they returned things were different with all of them, but Tommy was still my best friend. Then Grace came along. She didn't like me hanging around Tommy so much, but that didn't stop Tommy. They got married, but shortly after Grace was shot. This was extremely hard on Tommy, now having to raise his boy alone. Months had gone by and I was with Charles more and more as they days passed
“Tom, you maybe wanna take a break?" I ask leaning on the doorframe of his study
"Uh no YN. I have to get this work done" he says expressionless not looking at me once
"Well is there anything I can do?" I ask walking into his study making him sigh. I sit in the chair opposite him
"You can leave me alone to work"
"Tommy you've got to stop burying yourself in your work and deal with the emotions of loosing Grace"
"And what would you know about any of that"
"Tom that's not fair"
"No what's not fair is that I lost my wife and your sitting there telling me how I should deal with it" Tommy raises his voice at me now looking at me
"I'm not saying I understand what it's like" I sit up "but maybe..."
"It's not as simple as you think" Tom sighs
"Then talk to me. Before the war you'd always talk to me. I've stood by your side when your mother died, when your dad left, I held your hand through sleepless nights when you were screaming because of the war. I helped to bring Finn up, hell I'm bringing Charlie up while your in here. Where were you in the last 3 months when James left me and broke our engagement off for another woman? where were you last year when my mother died. But hey as long as Thomas Shelby is happy eh" I get up from my seat and start to walk over to the door
"YN..." Tommy sighs standing
"You know what Tommy come find me when you want to actually be my friend" I walk out of the study.
Tommy finds me later on in Charlie's bedroom. I just put him down for a nap
"Can we talk?" Tommy asks quietly
"Fine. Not in here. Don't want to wake Charlie up with our yelling"
"No yelling. Come on" Tommy leads me into the living room
"I'm sorry" I raise my brows at Tommy as I sit down
"Tommy Shelby apologising, this is a first"
"YN please be serious" Tommy sits next to me "you were right. I wasn't there for you through the break up or when your mother died and for that I'm sorry. I shouldn't treat you like that. I haven't just been dealing with Grace's death"
"What do you mean? the business?"
"No YN. The reason I've been pushing you away is because I feel so guilty"
"About what?" I ask confused
"When I came back from the war and you helped me. I started to fall for you, but then you starting to go steady with James and I had that one night stand with Grace. Yes there were feelings between us but I loved you. I was going to tell you after the races, but then she told me she was pregnant. I had to marry her"
"You didn't have to" I sigh "I wanted nothing more than you to say that to me. I only went steady with James to get over my feeling for you"
"You didn't have to say yes to him"
"What choice did I have? you were marrying Grace. I had no idea how you felt about me"
"And I didn't know how you felt about me" we sit in silence on the sofa looking at each other
"So what now?" I ask
"Whatever you want"
"What do you want?" I notice Tommy's eyes flicker down to my lips
"I'm done feeling guilty. I want you to be mine" Tommy licks his lips and leans in
"Me to" I whisper before our lips connect. Tommy pulls away and places a hand on my cheek
"Tomorrow I would like you to accompany me to the races"
"Like a date?" I smile
"Yeah a date"
"Then yes Mr Shelby. I'd love to" we kiss again before Charlie's cries break us apart
"I'll go" Tommy kisses my forehead and gets up. I can't help but smile and feel supper happy.

*Ahem* tommy wanted to paly a game with you so you choose a game that didn't look like horror until the middle. He screamed at the jump scare and it made both of your chats so happy.
When phil decides to play with you there is literally a silence after a jump scare. Everyone thought he had a heart attack and honestly so did you until he spoke up about accidently hitting his mute button when he jumped.
Wilbur. He's a bit better then tommy but more scared then phil would be. Any little noise won't get him but when it starts to get noticeable the noiseless to him. The jump scare, he'd fall out of his seat and stay on the ground for a bit. You ask if he's good and he literally doesn't answer. He's dead. You killed him. Congrats.
Techno. He'd handle them a bit better then everyone else. Not as good as you but heisnt very paranoid. He literally runs at the noises trying to get jumpscared. While you run after him telling him to stop because if he doesn't then you'd lose and die. And technoblade never dies.
If you all play together both tommy and wilbur pussy out. Techno last the longest and phil the second longest. While you remain the ruler of horror games.
Now how you all met was dream invited you to the dream smp to add to the chaos. Needless to say it got extremely chaotic due to you being on almost 24 hours. You first ran into techno. He seemed confused and skeptical.
You both found eachothers love for potatoes. You set up camp quote close to techno but not too close.
Phil popped in when he needed something for a build and noticed a new name. Talked to you in chat and asked to join your VC. You both found each other talking for a bit.
Wilbur was next. Wilbur got curious over the new person and just hoppedinto the same VC as you techno and phil. He was quick to realize that you were a famous youtuber. Mainly for your horror videos and your extreme Parkcore skills.
In minecraft that is.
Tommy noticing that all of you were in the same VC joined in with shouting. He was low key jealous that everyone was obsessed with you. Then he saw why.
You literally cracked jokes at his shouting.
"Is that an angry pomeranian? Nah nah. It's an angry child. Even better an angry blonde!" - you.
He was shocked and immediately started joking and laughing with you. He wasn't fully angry for long.
Now about your diet. When they heard that you had only eaten ramen and drank angry drinks they were concerned. You lived quite close to techno so when you guys met up he was shocked that you looked as healthy as you did.
He hated the fact that you literally didn't eat anything else.
You told him occasionally you have something other then ramen but you were just too lazy to really cook anything and that you didn't feel like burning the house down.
One month phil, tommy, wilbur, and techno decided to organize a month long sleep over so that they could celebrate your birthday. Phil being quote the father figure cooked different, but easy dinners every night just so you didn't eat only ramen that day.
When they actually arrived though you got a text from Phil asking about your address in your dms. Not think much of it you just sent him your location.
You were going to take a small nap. Just to bost your energy before you went and streamed later that night.
As you were sleeping there was a car heading to your house.
Phil, wilbur, tommy, and techno were all just existing in the car. And when they arrived to your house they didn't expect to actually see a clean house.
You woke to a loud knock.
When you opened the door in your half dazed state you expected a package. But to see four people standing on your porch.
You nearly jumped out of your skin.
You were stuck there blinking at them.
Finally snapping out of it you let them in. Confused on why in the ever loving fuck they were here.
Phil explained they were here to celebrate your 21st birthday and they were here for a month.
You stared at them for a while. Confused on what to do since you haven't had people over in almost 2 years.
But you got use to it.
So when you got done streaming and smelled something other then ramen you were thrown off guard. Like what was that. I haven't smelled that in years.
But after the second day you got use to it too.
For your birthday phil literally made a feast.
Like he found your favorite food other then ramen and cooked it. With that he prepared everything you could dream of.
Your sleeping habits. Let's dig into those.
I'm in no place to talk as right now it's 3:05 in the morning. And here I am.
But when they are over they don't let you stay up till no 3-4 in the morning. They all know the importance of sleep.
But there are those nights where no once can sleep and it results in a late night stream. And streaming for hours none the less.
The amount of accidental all nighters everyone has pulled was immense. But that's what happens with jet lag, adhd, and insomnia.
Literally you get tired randomly. Sleep for only 3 hours. Wake up. Drink coffee, energy drinks, highly caffeinated tea. And don't sleep till late at night.
Pillow forts.
It's a must and it happens. Horror movies, pillow forts, and snacks. Like you all are in this massive fort, watching horror movies, one by one you all are falling asleep. You and techno were the last up due to technos active mind and your body not letting you sleep.
You two literally just vide there, changing the movies from horror to some silly animated movies, like how to train your dragon, frozen, Luca, and many others.
You two pull an all nighter and it's actually a bet to see how long anyone else takes to notice.
You bet an hour. Techno says all day.
You won. Philza notices the worse eye bags under both you and technos eyes and immediately starts scolding.
He is papa bird and he won't let anyone of his children neglect their needs.
"Did you even drink water at all? You guys should of been sleeping not binge watching horror movies all night!" -philza
You could only offer a smirk, along with a laugh.
"I think we did I just can't fully remember. Also we were watching animated films. Not horror. Surprised you didn't wake up to let it go." - you.
You turn to techno.
"You owe me 15 bucks pig boy!"-you again.
Handing you the money he rolls his eyes. "Yeha yeah. Rub it in." -techno.
Ah yeah they found a horror game that you were scared of surprisingly. It was actually surprisingly you hadn't played it yet.
Outlast.
You had been holding off that game until you finished your other one but here you were. Bored out of your mind.
So you decided fuck it.
That game teriffed the shit out of you. It was so good though.
When you screamed they all came rushing up due to the fact that you never scream.
They say you out of your chair, on the floor, blinking. They thought you were hurt.
But you sat up and looked at your computer.
"Damn. That was actually really good." When you looked behind you and found the boys all staring you smiled and waved.
"You need something?"-you
"You screamed. We heard a thud. We thought you fuckin died!" -tommy.
"No I'm alive. My soul almost divorced my body but it's still quite here."-you
That day made highlights.
The popular y/n actually got jump scared. The one person who never screamed at horror games screamed.
When they left you were sad yes but they were still your best friends. Ready to talk when ever you want.
Sometimes I think that you guys talk all through out the night. Them forgetting that you were actually in a different time zone.
Sometimes they pop into your streams, be it MC, horror, you just talking to your fans, or even the once in the blue moon, cheerful games.
They just pop in and start talking to you. And you talk back like they were there since the beginning.
Phil is now one of your moderators too. Along with tommy, wilbur, and techno. When they pop in they make sure no one picks on you.
And since you are now close to the SBI. You are now part of it.
You didn't choose the fans did. But they are your new family. No matter what.
Even if they disagree with your eating habit.
Or energy drink addiction.
Or insomnia.
Or you mainly playing horror games.
Or you basically living in your streaming room.
Or even the nearly 24 hour streams.
I could go on but I'm not gonna.
I'm tired. But I can sleep. 2 days and I get to have a tour of my new school.
And it took so long to finally get into it.
We have been going through a huge hassle even before school started to get me enrolled.
And then we had to get me into this program.
But now on Monday I get to go in. Get a tour. Then start either Tuesday or Wednesday.
Anyway hope you liked. It's now 3:50 and it's no proof read I'm sorry

Thinking about how I would interpret the various people from the Dream smp winning the elytra contest:
Tubbo: Built the wings himself. They have a certain steampunk vibe to them. Really bulky, but also really cool looking.
Tommy: Moth wings. Screw everyone who says otherwise, man is a moth hybrid. But, well, insect wings are very fragile and he’s never felt safe enough to use them until now.
Ranboo: Recently received a gift from the council. It's a rare item that can be found only in the end. They hope it'll help him remember, it probably won't.
Georgenotfound: Got gifted some wings from DreamXD. He is not sure why or when, and he's not even entirely certain they're real. He may simply still be dreaming...
Sapnap: Lava wings. They're very droopy. He hasn't been maintaining them too well, and only recently got back into taking the lava baths he needs for them regularly.
Sam: He also built his own wings. They're lava-powered and look as if they were made of obsidian. They were initially meant to be part of the guard's uniform for the prison but... well. He's the only one working there, isn't he?
Ponk: Stitched them onto themselves as a medical experiment. They don't know how to take them off now, but they seem to work?
Bad: Huge af demon wings. He's 9'6 so his wings actually have to be enormous. Only reason why he hasn't used them before is that he was afraid to hit someone with them. Turns out he does that anyway even without using them, so there's really no reason anymore.
Fundy: The bird genes from his grandpa are finally manifesting. Perhaps biology does make some sense on the smp finally!
Wilbur: Pretty sure that's just a piece of the void sticking to him. Straight up ripped a piece of Limbo and brought it with him when he came back. Just another thing he hates about himself.
Punz: He knew someone high up who owed him a favor. Don't ask.
Purpled: Alien tech! He couldn't repair his ufo entirely, and those are his best bet to get off-server while he's working on his new one. They're meant to be a temporary solution, but they're pretty cool.
Eret: Flamingo wings. Ngl, they sort of forgot they had them.
Jack Manifold: similar to Wilbur's situation, but Jack's wings are very glitched. He was too afraid to die again to try and use them, but he's got to a point now where he doesn't care too much if that actually happens.
Niki: Hand-sewn wings that she made herself. It took ages for her to find a way to make them work, but having something like that to busy herself turned out to be really rewarding.
Quackity: He's a shapeshifter. He decided to change up his features a bit. Maybe he's getting ready for a fight he's certain will happen soon, who knows...
Karl Jacobs: Acquired them at some point during his travels. Much like George he's not sure how, when, or why that happened, but he's not complaining
HBomb: The power of anime bestowed them upon him. He did a full magical girl transformation and now they're there
Techno: Crafted them himself. They're not a marvel of engineering like they would be if Tubbo or Sam created them, but more so the result of months of him studying magic and alchemy for it. They were initially meant for Phil, but he screwed up the incantation.
Phil: They're prosthetics. He had to wait a long time for them because wing prosthetics are quite an expensive and complicated thing to obtain, but finally, he has them.
Ant: There's a whole lot of myths about cats with bird wings, so I'd say Ant finally ascended to his ultimate form of big ass cat with bog ass eagle wings.
Puffy: Went on an adventure after years of not sailing the sea and found an incredible treasure. She's pirating again and it's paying off, good for her honestly.
Foolish: Totems naturally have wings. He only stopped using them as a sign of respect for the rules of the server, but he's been shackled long enough now, wouldn't you say?
Hannah: Wings of thorny vines sprouted from her back as she started healing from the Egg's influence and reconnecting with nature.
Eryn: They just had them. They're probably an avian and we just didn't know yet.
Michael: Similarly to Eryn, he's just a winged hybrid.
Slimecicle: Well, once upon a time a little slime evolved in the course of thousands of years to become a human... what do you mean humans don't have wings? Oh well... he likes them now... maybe we can make an exception for him?

"Finn, is that you?" I called out from our bedroom as I heard the front door open. I tensed up when I didn't hear a reply, only to let out a sigh when I heard him giggling.
He was drunk again, it happened almost every week now. Tommy would have given him something important to do for the gang, and whether or not Finn succeeded with that task, he would go out and celebrate with his mates. I would sometimes tag along if I wasn't tired from the week of working, but after seeing our finances, I realised we needed to stop acting like teenagers and start saving wisely.
"Hello my gorgeous girl." he slurred out as he entered the room.
"Hello Finn." I replied as I received a sloppy kiss to my forehead.
He flopped down beside me in bed, taking the book out of my hands and throwing it to the floor. Finn wrapped his arms around me, snuggling into my lap. I took off his hat, stroking back his hair. He was cold from the brisk walk home, causing me to shiver.
“You should have come out tonight." he said.
"I got off work late."
"He kept you again?"
"No, I decided to stay."
"Why? You always say you're tired."
"I'm tired because I'm picking up extra shifts and hours so that we can start saving up for a house."
"I've told you, we don't need to worry about that. Business is good."
"Finn, we're not going to be given the money. We have to earn it."
"Tommy will help us."
"He might help but he won't give us a lot. And even if he did hand us a house, we've got to have enough money for the bills, furniture-"
"It will be fine."
"Finn, we've not even had our wedding yet!"
We had been engaged for half a year. We were wanting to be married sooner, but problems arose with the Peaky Blinders it distracted us both from it, especially since our lives were in danger. I desperately wanted to have enough money for the wedding and house, though it looked like it was going to be one or the other at this point.
"What's wrong with the flat?" Finn now sat up.
"Did you seriously ask me that question? There's only so much I can do to this dump to make it look somewhat liveable. It just doesn't feel like home."
"We'll get the money. Don't worry. Look, look," he took my hands in his,"we will get a house. I promise. And believe me, I want to marry you as soon as I can, there needs to be another ring on that finger. And I need to see my name at the end of yours."
I stupidly believed him. Those adoring eyes I once trusted had lied to me. Finn kept his promise for a week at max, soon breaking it. I didn't mind him going out with friends, we both needed to socialise, I just disagreed with the amount of times he was out and the amount of drinks he was buying each night. He would always offer to get the next round, and although he was a Shelby, the discounts didn't make much difference at the end of the night. I decided I had to go with him to ensure that our money wasn't being poured away, struggling to stay awake for those long nights, and making work even harder every day. It was impossible to keep an eye on him like that.
Usually Finn would tell me if he was going out that night so I wouldn't worry. That stopped too. My mind was never at ease. How did I know he wasn't lying in a ditch somewhere after a job gone wrong? Or what if he was trapped somewhere by a rival gang? I could only rest when he returned, which he always luckily did. I pretended to be asleep, trying to not push him away as he slipped his arms around me, cuddling me for the rest of the night. My patience began to grow thin. I was too scared to speak up about it, worried that we would just end up having an argument. However, I knew we would have to bring it up soon, because our money was only disappearing instead of increasing.
One morning when I was leaving for work, I noticed that the drawer we locked our savings away in was slightly ajar, meaning someone had unlocked it and stupidly left it open. Of course it had to be Finn, no one had broken in during the night. My eyes widened when I saw how much he had taken, enraged that he would think me so foolish. Why would he take the money without asking? What was he using it for?
As I stormed towards the shop, I heard whooping from men in a car further up the street. My face turned into a deep frown when I recognised the car, managing to catch a glimpse of the people in it. They hadn't seen me, and I had to make sure my eyes were deceiving me.
I didn't care about the looks on me as I burst through into the shop, making a beeline for Polly's office. I harshly knocked on the door, entering when she called me.
"(Y/N)? What's wrong?" she asked, a lit cigarette in hand.
"Where's Finn?"
"Off out with his brothers, why?"
"Where are they going?"
"To the races."
I scoffed, placing a hand on my head in defeat.
"Why? What's wrong with that?"
"He told me he would be in the office all day today."
"So? Things change."
"No, he specifically told me that. I never even asked about it. He made a point meaning he didn't want to risk me waltzing in. That means he's hiding something."
"(Y/N), they're only going to bet on horses today. They're mingling."
"They're betting today?!"
She stood, putting a hand on her hip."What am I missing here?"
"Pol, he's using money that we don't have! I need a car, I need to get to him."
"Look, even if my nephew is being the biggest idiot, it's a bad idea to go there."
"Why?"
Her eyes widened."Don't snap at me young lady."
"I'm sorry, I just, I just know he's going to be stupid with what little money we have at the minute."
Polly was silent for a few seconds, and I didn't know if she was just staring me out, trying to make me leave. Perhaps she didn't think it was anything to worry over. But it was to me. She surprised me when she went into one of her drawers, pulling out a set of keys.
"Come on. I'll get one of the girls to call your work, say you're sick."
I tightly clasped my hands together as Polly drove. I was furious, trying to think of what to say to Finn when I got there. He stole our money. He went behind my back, gambling away the money we worked hard to earn. I had never said it, but Finn had it much easier than I did. For one, he worked with family, and although I liked my job, the boss could sometimes be an arsehole; second, he earned a lot more than me, so he was the bigger breadwinner between us, but I worked longer hours. Yes, he was in a gang meaning he had more days where his life was under threat, but he seemed to be having a jolly good time anyway. Really, it wouldn't have mattered who worked longer or harder, or who earned more, it was still our money to spend on our house.
As soon as Polly parked up, I was straight out of the car. She quickly followed grabbing my arm and warning me to not get lost in the crowds. I couldn't make a scene, especially since there could be potential business partners or enemies about. I refrained from rolling my eyes, knowing she was right but also knowing that I would find it extremely hard to not scream at Finn.
Polly guided me to where the men would be, ignoring the shoving and shouting. I wished for her to walk quicker. We swiftly entered the posher boxes, almost stopped by a doorman until his accomplice shut him up. I even heard him whisper 'That's Polly Gray you idiot.', the one time I was glad we had a reputation. She only paused to scan the room for the boys but I spotted them first. Quickly moving past her, I couldn't stop my fists from clenching, seeing Finn joyfully drinking and laughing with his brothers only added fire to my fury.
"Finn!" I snapped, quickly catching his attention.
"(Y/N)?" he exclaimed, struggling to stand and clattering the plates and glasses on the table."W-what are you doing here?"
"Stopping you from spending our money like a fucking idiot! Where is it?"
"Oh, Finn boy is in the doghouse." John chuckled.
"Shut up!" I fiercely pointed at him.
"Where's what?" Finn brought me back.
"Our money!"
"I told you, you do this outside." Polly warned, shoving Finn in that direction, and I knew I had to follow him.
Luckily, we were left alone. Finn continued on, finding someplace we would be alone. Once we were in the clear, the distant roar of the crowds covering our conversation, I saw him sigh quietly, running a hand down his face when he realised what was coming.
"Where's the money Finn?" I asked, calmer but with a mean tone.
"Let me explain first.”
"Explain how you took our money without asking? How you just waltzed out this morning without consulting me?"
"Tommy said that there was a good chance, a very good chance that this horse would win, and I thought it would help us if we put our money on it. Imagine how much we'll have if it wins!"
"If it wins Finn, if! You're gambling our money, why would you do something like that?"
"Because you went on about not having enough money! And here I am trying to help!"
My mouth dropped open in shock."You really don’t see the problem here."
"No, actually, I don't." he crossed his arms over his chest.
"Finn, you stole money from the drawer! You then go behind my back and bet it away. Have you thought about what we'll do if that horse loses?"
"But it won't, Tommy said."
"And what if Tommy is wrong this time? Also, don't pin this on your brother, I know he hasn't even suggested this idea."
"I'm not-urgh!" Finn groaned."Why don't you trust me?"
"I can't trust a gamble Finn. I don't think you realise how many nights I've spent lying awake, worried that we'll never have enough for our own home, and thinking that you don't even care anymore."
"Of course I care. This is why I've bet the money."
"How is this not getting in your head?"
"(Y/N)," he took my hands in his, but I couldn't even look at him,"in a few minutes we will hear them announce the winner, and we will start jumping for joy when we realise how much money we're going to get back, and we're going to be so much closer to getting our home."
"Finn, I desperately want to believe that. But even if we do win, you're in deep trouble." I took my hands away from him, turning around. I couldn't even look at my own fiance.
On queue, we heard a man come over the intercom, it was muffled to me but I knew Finn was listening intensely. Glancing over my shoulder, I watched for his reaction, turning around fully when I saw his expression. We had lost. We lost all that money.
"How could you be so fucking stupid?!" I screamed at him, throwing slaps onto his chest."Why couldn't you just listen to me? I don't understand why you had to lie to me Finn!"
I broke down crying, shoving him away from me. My sobs were loud but I didn't care. Finn could watch, see how much he upset me. My heart sank at the thought of it all gone, Finn had left scarcely any money in the drawer back at the flat.
"I'm sorry (Y/N)." Finn pathetically said.
"You know how you always go on about your family never trusting you enough for the big jobs? That you never get to go out with them and help? This is why. Because you do things like this, you fuck everything up Finn. Fuck!" I wiped away my tears, even though more spilled out."You know I've always stuck beside you, but this is the last straw Finn. I can't be with someone who doesn't want to put effort into their future."
"What are you saying? (Y/N), I can fix this. I promise I'll get the money back, I'll-"
"How? That took us so long to build that up. And you were spending our money almost every night on useless drinking. I can't Finn, I can't live like that anymore."
He ducked his head, and I almost wanted him to say something. When he didn't, I knew what I had to do.
I took a deep breath before speaking."I'm going home. I suggest you stay at Polly's tonight."
"Let me take you home-"
"No!"
"What's going on?" Tommy suddenly appeared, he, his brothers and Polly approaching.
"Your nephew, your brother, just gave away almost all of our money betting on a horse. Not only that, but he took the money without telling me. That was money for a house." I angrily explained.
"Is that true Finn?"
Finn shamefully nodded.
"We can get you your money back (Y/N)."
"It's not about that Tom. He's lied to me. He promised me he wouldn't spend our money every week, yet he did. And then he takes our money without asking me about it first."
"I'll fix it (Y/N), I promise I will." Finn was begging at this point.
"Another promise that you're bound to break. I've had enough today."
"Let's get you home love." Polly said, putting a stop to this argument as she stepped forward, taking me under her arm.
Finn didn't come home that night. I didn't sleep. I was sat at the tiny dining table, staring at the ring on my finger, wondering what to do. It broke my heart to think about leaving him, but it also broke my heart thinking about how reckless he had been. Did I really want to be marrying someone who acted like this? Would he mature? My heart wanted to believe he would, but my mind kept telling me that today confirmed he wouldn't. That was one of the worst nights of my life.
                                     *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
I couldn't stand this job any longer. But it was the only thing keeping me alive. It was crappy work, the pay was just above minimum, enough for me to buy food, pay my rent and have the tiniest amount left over. Saving up money was hard when it was just you. Even after two years, I didn't have enough to consider looking at places of my own, or with less roommates. It was exhausting keeping up with these girls I lived with, there were 6 of us altogether. It was a big change when I moved away from Small Heath.
"You ready (Y/N)?" one of my roommates called out to me as I finished applying my lipstick.
"Just a second!" I replied, checking myself in the mirror.
It was the rare occasion that I was going out with them, the one time we could all go out together at all. I was looking forward to a few drinks, and although that sounded hypocritical, I realised that I had to have a night or two in at least a month to relieve myself of the stress I put upon myself.
We arrived at the small club we always went to, it had the cheapest drinks this side of town. We all shivered in the cold weather, walking as fast as we could to make it to the club. The warmth was very welcome, as well as the loud music that drew us further in. It was the usual routine, a few of us grab a table, the others get the drinks in, then we would all make our way to the dance floor. Hours passed, and I had to get away from the heat coming from the dancing, stepping back towards our table to get a drink. I saw my roommate stumbling in the direction of the bar, rolling my eyes as I went to help her, perhaps getting a drink whilst I was there. However, once I got closer, I stared at the man she was starting to flirt with.
"Isaiah?" I said as I got closer.
"(Y/N)!" he smiled, bringing me in for a hug.
"You two know each other?" my roommate asked, looking disappointed.
"He's an old friend. Just that, nothing else."
Isaiah let me go."How long has it been? Two years?"
"Uh, yeah. Yeah, two years. What are you doing here?"
"Business. Nothing dangerous though, you girls are still in for a good night. Especially you if you're good." he winked to my roommate.
"Is he...is he here?" my voice suddenly went shaky, and I felt almost completely sober.
Isaiah's playful nature dropped."Uh, he is. He's really misses you (Y/N). Hasn't even looked at another girl since you left. He's just not been the same." I wasn't sure how to reply.
"I can't not tell him I saw you. Imagine if he found out, he would be so upset with me."
"I know. I wouldn't want to hurt your friendship."
"Maybe you should see him. It might do you both some good."
"Or the opposite."
"He still loves you. Even if you don't feel the same, it could bring closure. But I know you (Y/N), I can tell what you're thinking."
"You were always annoying like that."
"He's out front, in the corridor. That's all I'm going to say."
I looked at him for a few seconds, trying to make my mind up."Well, this one is a handful, just so you know."
"I think I can handle her." Isaiah smirked.
"I was warning her about you."
I giggled at his reaction, walking away and leaving him in his natural habitat of flirting. But as soon as I turned around, my stomach dropped, nerves filling up my entire body. He was here. I hadn't seen him for two years, though I thought about him everyday. Would he look different? Did I look different? What was he going to say? What was I going to say? My brain didn't want to think of any words, maybe I was about to babble absolute nonsense to him.
Upon seeing him, my throat tightened, the cool air slapping me in the face; oh, now I was sober. He hadn't noticed yet, leaning up against a wall, hands in his pockets. Wow, he had changed. His boyish charm was still there, yet he had matured into a handsome young man. It was like I was seeing him for the first time all over again. I was just happy that he would be seeing me in my finer clothes rather than catching me after work.
Urging my feet to move, I almost sighed at how small my steps were. I really was scared. Isaiah had said reassuring things, yet I couldn't even walk up to him. It was too late to back out now, especially when he finally looked up at me. I froze on the spot, not knowing what to do. Finn seemed the same way.
"(Y/N)." he said, I only just heard it.
"Hello."
Hello? Really, that's all I could come up with?
He pushed himself off the wall, coming to stand in front of me, though not too close."I...I can't believe you're here."
"I could say the same about you."
"This is where you've been living then."
I nodded."It's not too bad. I mean, I'm on a night out."
"Who are you with?"
I knew he was wondering if I was with a man."My roommates, I live with five other girls."
"Oh, that's a lot."
"Yeah, it's the only place I could afford."
"I hope it's nice."
"I shouldn't complain. A lot better than other places."
We both knew we were making an awful attempt at small talk. I was sure he had so much to say like I did, we just didn't want to dump it on each other in case the other ran away. It was like we were teenagers again, awkwardly trying to think of something to fill the dreaded silence.
"I really want to talk about us (Y/N)." Finn said.
"You do?"
"I...I just have so much to say to you. I can't do it now, but what about tomorrow?"
"Tomorrow? Tomorrow, um, yes, yes tomorrow works for me. It's the weekend, so I'm not working."
He smiled slightly."OK, good. I'll come get you. Um, I need your address."
"Oh, here." I dug around in my purse, thankful there was a folded up tissue and a pen, it was good to be prepared. I wrote down my address, handing it to him.
"I'll pick you up at one. I would want it to be earlier, you just never know what time you'll be back with this sort of thing."
"I understand Finn, I did live this with you once."
I barely slept, even when we stumbled in at three in the morning. Luckily I hadn't seen Finn, Isaiah or any other Peaky Blinder that evening, no doubt settling business behind the scenes. Despite the lack of sleep, I was wide awake the next morning, up before everyone else who were nursing their hangovers, trying on multiple outfits in a desperate attempt to look nice, but not as if I put too much effort in. The clock was rolling onto one o'clock, and my heart was beating much faster than usual. I was about to make my way downstairs when something glistened on my small vanity. Should I take it? Yes, I would.
Finn knocked on the door, and I waited a few seconds before opening it. We smiled as we greeted each other, not going in for a hug or kiss on the cheek, something I was worried about. That was the first hurdle jumped over.
"How was your evening?" Finn struck up a conversation as we walked further into town.
"Much better than yours I presume?" I smirked. He chuckled."Yeah, didn't exactly get to enjoy the music. Small fight, nothing we couldn't handle."
It was strange hearing about Blinder business again."Well I'm glad you're all safe."
"I thought we could go out for lunch, saw a nice place round here."
"Oh, that would be lovely."
"We don't have to, if you don't feel comfortable."
"No, no, no, it's not that. It's just a lovely thing for you to do."
We both bashfully smiled, luckily the restaurant was just around the corner. I had expected nothing less when we walked into the fancy place, not because I thought I deserved it, but because Finn wouldn't be seen anywhere else. His clothes were even more tailored now than they had been the last I saw him, indicating that the gang had been doing well, more money was coming in. We both immediately picked up our menus as we sat, hoping someone would speak first. Our eyes glanced over the top of them, it was as if we were on our first date again, only this time in a better establishment.
"You look beautiful." he said, still hiding part of his face.
"Thank you." I blushed.
"I'll never forget what you wore when I picked you up for our first date. That blue dress you just bought, with a matching purse, and those heels that you hadn't practiced walking in. Well, you used that as an excuse to latch into my arm all night."
I smiled, placing down my menu."It was a good plan, wasn't it? And I did struggle in those heels, I just didn't want to embarrass myself."
He copied me."I liked holding your hand all night."
"What a sweet sentiment."
"I mean it. And I mean this date. That didn't sound right, but...what I'm trying to say is that I want to make it all up to you."
"You do?"
"Yes! I really didn't expect you to leave. I mean I did, but I didn't want to believe that. I didn't want to believe that I had been so selfish that I couldn't even see how much I had hurt you."
“That was the hardest decision I ever made. Most days I battle with myself whether I made the right choice. All night I kept making deals with myself. If you came back, I would hear you out, and if it was good enough for me I would stay. But then you didn’t, so I said to myself ‘Give him another hour.’. An hour went by, and I said the same thing to myself. That went on for the whole evening until I found myself angrily packing my things. Even then, I sat by door on top of my suitcase for another hour or so.”
“I thought you just got up and left. I didn’t realise how long you waited for me.” he sighed into his hands.“I’m such a fucking idiot.”
I could tell he was full of regret. Although it sounded sadistic, I was glad that he was upset when reflecting on our past relationship, it meant he realised his mistake. On the other hand, I hated seeing him sad. I took his hands away from his face, hesitantly reaching into my handbag to pull out the engagement ring I kept.
His eyes widened.“You still have that? I looked everywhere for it when you left, guessed you took it to sell.”
“I won’t lie, that was my intention at first. But it meant too much to me. It was like selling a piece of my soul. I kept it hidden, I didn’t want to risk any of the girls seeing it, they would just ask too many questions.”
I kept my eye on the beautiful ring as I spoke, slowly twirling it around to catch it twinkling in the light.
"I had such a hard time picking that out. I knew what you wanted, but I had to get it right for you. I'm so glad you kept it."
"I did try to sell it. I was stood outside of a shop for ten minutes debating with myself. It would have helped a lot for the deposit on the room, but I couldn't do it."
We were silent, both staring at the ring. We used to do that a lot actually. Finn would take my hand and hold it up as we laid in bed together, both giggling as we watched it glisten like it was in present times, before squealing at the thought of us being married to each other. I constantly fiddled with it when he was off on business, a habit which never wore off, even now; whenever I was nervous or worried, I would automatically do the same action, just without the ring.
A waiter awkwardly interrupted us, and I hurriedly put the ring back in my bag, sharing an embarrassed smile with Finn as we ordered. Once he was gone, I quietly sighed, looking out of the window. We were in such a nice part of town, so many ladies in beautiful dresses and men in smart suits strolling around.
"Are you...are you OK for money?" Finn boldly asked.
I was a little shocked by that.
"I don't mean anything by it. I just want to make sure you're OK, I would hate for you to be struggling, if you were."
"Uh, no, no I'm fine actually. It's not as generous as my old wage but it keeps me alive, I can live with the bare necessities."
I could see him itching to say something else, to keep the conversation going. I wasn't sure if we could go back to the serious topic we had before. However, I also wanted to bring it back up, it felt like we needed to talk about us.
"How's the family?" That's all I could come up with.
"They're fine. Everyone is the same. Well, they're not, they're a bit more serious nowadays."
"They weren't in the first place?"
He smiled."I suppose they were. Tension is the right word, tensions have been rising. Tommy's taking on a lot more, Polly knows all these secrets that no one else does, Ada is rebelling against anything Tommy says, Linda is still annoying, Esme and John have been popping kids out left, right and centre. Arthur is still crazy."
"Sounds like business as usual to me."
"They miss you too."
"Do they?"
"Yeah. Almost as much as me."
I cast my eyes down as butterflies rose in my stomach.
"I heard nothing else for the next few weeks after you left. They all told me what an idiot I was, that I was an extremely reckless, stupid and immature boy, and that I had let the best thing in my life get away from me. And they were right. I knew all of that already."
"I...I don't really know what to say right now."
"You don't have to say anything, let's just enjoy this meal, no more of that talk."
The nerves making my stomach flip built at that. What if we had nothing else to talk about? What if it was too weird to dive into our separate lives? I didn't want to sit across my ex-fiance, painfully and politely smiling through forced conversation.
The spark was still there.
When the waiter had returned with our drinks, we were already deep in talk about what had been happening in our personal everyday life. We were non stop, even as we ate through dinner. The waiters had trouble catching our attention each time they checked on us. I was deep in those eyes again, the ones I always dreamed of seeing. We were laughing hysterically, not at all acting how we should have in that establishment (there were a few eye rolls from other patrons). As if time had gone by in a second, the bill was slipped towards Finn, though I still reached into my purse.
"Are you mad? No, put your money away, I'm not taking it." Finn stated as he carelessly threw down some notes, surprisingly taking my hand in his and guiding me out of the restaurant.
I was tense as we walked, and I saw a flash of realisation in Finn's eyes as we made it outside. Both looking down at our interlocked fingers, Finn broke away, clearing his throat.
"Sorry, force of habit."
Hesitating, I smiled up at him, lacing our hands together again."These are new heels I'm breaking in. Need help walking in them."
He chuckled, pulling me closer as we walked down the street. We were silent, feeling like kids in love again. I couldn't deny that my feelings were still strong for Finn, I missed him dearly. At first, part of me had been wary of all this, wondering if he really had good intentions, or just thought he could get a quick shag in from an ex before he left; but the effort he went through, the things we spoke about, trying to heal old wounds, Finn had matured and he was wanting to fix this. I wanted to fix this, my heart was aching for my old life with him.
“We’re not done yet, are we?” I timidly asked.
“Not unless you want it to be.”
I instantly shook my head.“No, I’d like to stay out for longer.”
“Even though you’re struggling in your heels?”
I smirked.“I know a nice place we can sit down.”
I took him to the local park, it had a huge lake with benches dotted around, luckily it wasn’t busy, there was somehow a hint of privacy here. We sat down close to each other, hands still entwined.
“You still hungry?” I asked.
“Hm?”
I dug into my purse, producing a bag of sweets I had bought the previous day. I laughed as his eyes lit up, taking one without even asking. I took one too, reminiscing on how we used to do the same thing as kids. It seemed he was thinking about it too.
“Just like the old days.” Finn said.
“We spent way too much money on sweets back then. It’s a wonder we still have our teeth.”
“Wish I got out of that spending habit. We could be married and in our new house by now.”
“So you never wanted to move on? You didn’t give in to those girls wanting to be with a Peaky Blinder?”
“Never. I couldn’t. I couldn’t even fathom being with anyone else, it was always you (Y/N). Did you date?”
“No, I felt exactly the same. Which is why I was angry at myself for a long time. I was supposed to be upset with you, not still in love.”
His head whipped round to face me.“You still love me?”
My mouth was still open, unsure how to answer. It seemed I didn’t have to as Finn leaned in, placing on hand on my cheek as we kissed. Instinctively I kissed back, placing my hands on him where I could, hearing the bag of sweets fall to the ground and spill its contents. This kiss was needy, the type of kiss you gave your partner when you had missed them, when they had been away for a long time; and although we had our hands on each other, our touch was still gentle.
“Get the ring.” Finn breathed out, our lips still almost touching.
I carelessly got it for him, heart beating extremely fast. He took it from me, pecking me on the lips one last time before standing up. He straightened out his suit, took a deep breath and got down on one knee. I was just as emotional the first time he did it.
“(Y/N), I know I messed up everything in the past, I was careless when I should have been supportive and helped to build our future. I learnt from those mistakes, and I really, really want to go back to how we were. I need you (Y/N), I love you so much. There aren’t enough words to express how much love I have for you. Will you marry me?”
I didn’t need to think about my answer. I blurted out a yes, waiting for him to slide the ring back on my finger before throwing myself onto him. We stumbled back onto the ground, our arms around each other as we laughed and cried. I believed him this time, I truly believed him. He put in the effort to show me his changes, he wanted to fix everything. I wanted things back to the way they were with my man, and we were back to building our future and living the rest of our lives together.

Daughter's friend - I
AN: here it is! the story is slowly settling, i hope you'll enjoy it! and please, don't be mad at me for the end... haha
Pairing : Joel Miller x Reader
Warning: kinda smut towards the end
Prologue
You took a shower before leaving too. You’ve been aroused from the moment you stepped into the Miller’s house and realized who Sarah’s father was. The hot man you fooled around in June. And you regretted running away the way you did that night. You never imagined seeing him again and yet, here you were. Meeting him again in the most unexpected way possible.
You really liked Sarah and you were starting to consider her as your best friend. You couldn’t change what happened before you ever met her, but now that you knew Joel was her father, there was no way you could take things where you left them. That thought annoyed you, but it was probably for the best. On Sunday, you’d be gone, back to your life and would try to avoid coming back to Austin, to the Millers.
But god, he was making this really complicated. When you got downstairs, finally ready to go to the bowling alley with them, you stopped a second to stare at Joel behind the glass door, as he was smoking in the backyard. He was wearing dark jeans, a flannel slightly opened on a white shirt, and his boots. And a freaking beanie. How could one man be this hot, just because he was wearing a beanie? This was totally unfair. You felt like you needed another shower.
“You ready, Y/N?” You heard from behind. Sarah. You needed to be careful and stopped drooling over her dad like this.
“Yup. Are your uncle and his wife coming?” You asked, taking your eyes off Joel.
“Yeah, they’ll meet us there. You’re going to love them. Just don’t be surprised when you’ll see dad and uncle Tommy act like children.” You waited for a laugh or something, but you realized how serious she was. “I invited Ellie, too. That way we can do three against three.”
Ah, Ellie. You heard about this girl. Sarah’s ‘BFF’ since they were kids. Part of you couldn’t wait to meet her, but you knew you also felt jealous. Not because it meant you couldn’t be Sarah’s best friend, but because you thought about your own best friend from childhood and what she’s done to you. One of the reasons you left Connecticut.
“You ready, girls?” Joel asked, readjusting his beanie.
Yes, you were.
Tumblr media
Joel and Tommy were indeed like kids. And they took bowling very seriously. They both were team captains, Joel took Sarah and you - you noticed the disappointment on Ellie’s face when he said your name and you couldn’t blame her - you were new to the Millers’ clan - and Tommy had Maria and Ellie.
“Are we going to get in trouble if we lose?” You joked with Sarah.
“Oh, sweetheart. You have no idea.” Joel answered. Sweetheart. That word immediately sent shivers to your core, and Joel realized his mistake. He had never been this familiar with one of Sarah’s friends. He needed to be careful.
While everyone was getting ready, you and Maria went to the bar and got drinks for everybody. Joel and Tommy asked for beers, Ellie and Sarah had to go for a soft drink, Maria ordered a glass of wine, and she was surprised when you asked for one too. “I’m twenty, and somehow, I’m never asked for my ID,” you whispered.
“Lucky you. I think we have two girls who are going to be jealous.” She chuckled.
“Does Joel let Sarah drink?”
“A drink or two, he doesn’t mind. And he knows what college life is. And my husband has been sneaking her beer since she was fifteen, thinking Joel was oblivious.”
“I don’t know Tommy yet, but I’m not even surprised.” You laughed.
“I married a manchild.” She shook her head with a chuckle. It was clear how much she loved Tommy.
“I bet it runs in the family.” You said, hoping she would say something about Joel, something you didn’t know. Like if he really was single like Sarah thought, and if he had a life that his daughter didn’t know about. Like going to sex parties.
“It does. Although, having Sarah this young forced Joel to grow up. Her mother wasn’t around much, but I guess she told you all that.”
“She did, but I can tell her mother is a sensitive subject.”
“Yeah, for Joel too. I think he’s never been able to completely forget her.”
Not something you wanted to hear, but you weren’t surprised either. If everything Sarah told you was accurate, Joel has never been in a serious relationship since his daughter was born. Which meant that Sarah’s mother hurt him so badly, he couldn’t be let anyone in.
Why did you care anyway? You only had a sexual encounter with the man, and yes, he made it obvious that he hadn’t forget about it either, but it didn’t mean it could be repeated. Or it could lead to something else. He was Sarah’s father after all. This limit spoke for itself.
You and Maria brought the drinks to everyone. “I hate you.” Sarah said when she saw you taking a sip of your white wine. You laughed, while handing her the glass. You felt Joel glancing at you, but you only smirked.
“Can I, too?” Ellie asked and you nodded.
The game finally started. The Millers were experts at bowling. They were the ones who scored the highest, and you felt ashamed every time you threw a gutterball. Being an overachiever, you hated not being good at something. As you were concentrating, holding the ball, you felt a body behind yours. You didn’t need a second to know it was Joel and your heart missed a beat. He placed his hands above yours, and made you move a little to your left. His crotch was perfectly pressed against your butt, and all you wanted to do was grind. “You can’t miss this one, sweetheart.” He whispered in your ear. “Or there will be consequences.” He nipped your ear lobe and you fought the moan that tried to escape your lips. “But if you score enough, you may get rewarded.”
You weren’t sure if you wanted to be punished or rewarded. But you love to win, so you did your best. You did better than your previous throws, but still not enough. Tommy and Maria happily jumped and high five with Ellie. You looked at Joel and Sarah and apologized. They looked slightly disappointed, but it’s just a game after all. “What should we do to them?” Tommy asked the girls, stroking his beard to show he was thinking. This couldn’t be good.
You looked towards Sarah again, asking a ton of questions with your eyes. “Losers get a dare.” She said. “Either the same for the three of us, or different ones.”
“That’s why I wanted to win. I’m supposed to meet an awful client on Monday, I wanted to send Tommy.” Joel explained.
“Tough luck, big brother.” Tommy teased, patting his brother’s back. “Maria has a dare for you.”
“Next Friday night, you’re coming over for dinner to meet my friend Ashley.”
You watched Joel’s reaction and the man didn’t hide his eye roll at all. “Maria, come on.” He growled in frustration.
“Who is she?” Sarah asked. “What does she look like? What does she do? Why is she single?”
“Easy, honey. You won’t be there anyway.” Maria winked at her. “But she’s a gorgeous woman, smart and independent. She’s divorced, no kids.”
“I didn’t know you opened a matchmaking company.” Sarah joked, but you could tell she didn’t like the idea very much and she made it clear on the ride home.
“I love Maria, but why does she keep trying to set you up with someone? We don’t know anything about this woman.” Joel just laughed while you saw Ellie rolling her eyes. “Seriously, I want you to be happy but–”
“You want to be the one who decides who your dad’s dating.” Ellie finished for her. “You’re being overprotective.”
“I’m not! I don’t want him to be hurt!” Sarah exclaimed and you could see that Joel wasn’t enjoying this conversation anymore.
“I’m a grown man, babygirl. I don’t need you to protect me, that’s my job.”
“Still, I have a word! I’ll be there on Friday.”
Sarah is a stubborn girl and it was clear that she was indeed going to be there on Friday night. A part of you felt a slight relief and you weren’t sure why. Joel wasn’t yours in any way.
That was Joel’s dare. You and Sarah had to do a prank call each - because Tommy thought it was funny. Sarah chose one of her teammates and you chose your former best friend - without giving them details of who she was exactly.
Joel dropped Ellie at her parents’ place, and you all got home. You settled for the guest room. You share your room with Sarah every day, it’d be nice to have a room for yourself even if it’s just for one night. You changed into your PJs; shorts and a tank top and did your night routine before joining Sarah in her room, but she wasn’t there. You found her and Joel on the couch, having a drink.
“If you want a beer, just take one in the fridge.” She told you, focusing on the TV.
“What are you guys watching?” you asked, sitting on the couch with a beer in hand. “Soccer, of course.” You said, before either of them could react.
“Do you know soccer, Y/N?” Joel asked. He was laying down, an arm behind his head and his beer resting on his stomach. He wasn’t doing anything special, but he looked like the hottest man you’ve ever seen. It would be so easy to jump on him and ride his cock.
“A–A little now that I know Sarah,” you answered, trying to focus on the game.
“Yeah, I was never interested in this sport, before this one–” he gently punched Sarah’s leg, “told me she wanted to play.”
“And now you love it.” She proudly grinned at her father.
“Do I have a choice?”
You watched their banter, adoration and envy in your eyes. You never knew this kind of relationship with anyone in your family. To be honest, your family are cold people. They don’t joke around, do family activities, or just spend time together. At this very moment, you felt extremely lucky to have met Sarah and become close enough with her that she took you to her family. You can’t take a risk to lose this.
You three watched the game together. Joel and Sarah yelled at the TV quite a few times, making you laugh every time.
It was around 1am when the game ended. You and Sarah spent another hour up in her room before sleep got the best of you. You joined your room and tried to sleep without thinking about the man across the hall. Lost cause.
Tumblr media
5am.
You growled and turned around in bed, trying to fall back to sleep. But you were thirsty so you got downstairs. As you closed the fridge’s door, you spotted him. He was in the backyard again, smoking and staring. He probably heard you coming down. He was wearing a dark t-shirt under a sweater and some shorts. Without being able to stop yourself, you walked up to him and opened the glass door. “Can’t sleep?” he whispered.
“Like you, apparently.”
“Yeah, things are keeping me awake.” he finished his cigarette, throwing it in the ashtray. “Can I?” he asked, showing your water bottle.
You nodded, handing him the bottle. He made sure his fingers brushed yours. While he drank, his eyes didn’t leave yours and you felt weak in the knees. How can just a look have that much power?
“Why did you leave that night?” he asked.
“I–it’s stupid, you don’t want to know.”
“Was it something I did? Said?”
“Something you did. But it’s okay–”
“No it’s not, Y/N. I’m sorry if I–”
“You did something my ex used to do. And I guess it triggered me.” You didn’t want to confess that to him, but you couldn’t let him think he did something wrong or that he hurt you in any way because he didn’t.
“What was it?” you looked at him, unsure of why he was asking. “I don’t want to trigger you again.” he added, like he could hear your thoughts.
You looked at your feet for a moment and took a deep breath. “You stroked my ear.” you admitted. “I know it’s nothing, you probably did it as an act of tenderness and–”
You didn’t have time to finish. Joel had grabbed your chin to make you face him and crashed his lips on yours. He was indeed tender but with a certain power, enough power to make you back down against the window. He did his best to keep the kiss as innocent as possible, but you were the one who intensified it. You opened your mouth so your tongues could meet, and you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him even closer than he already was.
“I’ll never do it again, sweetheart.” he said, placing gentle kisses on your neck. “But god, how I want to hurt the bastard.”
“I don’t want to talk about him right now.” you breathed out as Joel found your sensitive spot. Your hands found their way under his t-shirt, and you enjoyed feeling his skin and body hair under your fingers. He did the same, and one of his hands settled on your breasts. He kissed you again while playing with your nipples. “Joel–” you moaned.
He stopped his movements, just pressed his hardening cock against your stomach and held your head in his hands. “Let’s take this upstairs.”
You nodded and started to walk but Joel had other plans; he carried you to his bedroom and gently lay you down on his bed. He locked the door before joining you. Your clothes and his were quick to rest on the carpet. The feeling from June was coming back. It was like you were back there. It was just the two of you. You didn’t run away after giving the blowjob. You were going to finish what you started.
Joel felt your wetness with his hands, and sucked his fingers clean. “Delicious,” he groaned. “I want to eat your pussy, but right now, I need to be inside of you.”
“Yes, please. I want you,” you moaned as he stroked your clit with his thumb. You reached for his hard and thick cock and stroked him for a moment. You looked at each other. “I’m on birth control.” you told him.
You needed him bare and so did he. Like you told him exactly what he needed you to say, Joel smirked and lined himself with your center. You kissed again before he pushed his cock inside you.
You cried his name and opened your eyes to look at him.
But all you saw was someone’s shadow at the door.
A shadow that walked away as soon as you saw it.
You were sweating and panting, but alone and empty. You had a wet dream about Joel and that shadow looked a lot like him.

a night to remember.
Summary: After a long 4 months of just bickering, they finally decide to meet up. (Second part to 'Pretty Little Lies')
NSFW MINORS DNI!!
Warnings: Choking, cockwarming, hair pulling.
Word Count: 2892
Tumblr media
Dream had enough of the two bickering at each other, he finally slammed his desk with his hand, making the two come to a halt. “Will you two fucking shut the hell up?” He asked annoyed, and Y/N just scoffed while looking away from the screen. “You two have reached my breaking point.” He said, seeing George just look away and Y/N discord icon stop glowing green besides the few shuffling coming from her side. “All you two do now is just bicker, we get it you guys have sexual tension but for the love of God, please just shut the fuck up.” He begged, while George’s ears burned at the mention of sexual tension. Opening his mouth to speak, nothing came out as Y/N was the first to speak up, “If I buy a plane ticket to go and visit the UK will that help you?” She asked sarcastically, and Dream sighed in relief, “Yes! Yes it fucking would!” he said loudly, while Sapnap just listened in noting to himself that he saw George’s eyes light up at the thought of Y/N visiting him. “I was joking but sheesh fine, I will.” She mumbled, and George looked between the sleeping Dream icon, and the Coraline icon that belonged to Y/N.
“Do I not have a say in this?” George finally spoke up, and raised an eyebrow that disappeared behind his long hair. Sapnap now laughed dryly, “Don’t act as if you didn’t enjoy the idea of Y/N coming to you, you know damn well your eyes lit up at the mention of it.” He said, and George just shrunk down in defeat while Dream laughed at the boy’s reaction. “There I bought the plane ticket.” She said, and they heard a ding indicating someone had joined the call, “Why the fuck did I just get a message saying I bought a plane ticket to the UK?” Quackity asked, and Y/N laughed loudly, “It’s for me but I used your money since you owed me anyways.” She told him, while Quackity just stared at his screen in shock. “That’s it I’m leaving.” He said, leaving the call right afterwards. George was now silent, and playing with the strings on his hoodie, “How long will you be staying?” Sapnap asked, and Y/N hummed leaning closer to her mic, “About three months, I want to meet everyone else, not just George here.”
Nodding, Sapnap seemed satisfied with the answer, “Wear protection.” Dream said, and George snapped his gaze up looking back at the screen, “Shut up.” He muttered, embarrassed while Y/N just laughed to cover up the fact that she too was embarrassed. “Well, I leave for the UK in two days, I still have to find a place to stay.” She explained, and George rubbed his chin before he came to a decision in his head, “You can stay with me, I recently moved into an apartment that has two rooms, you can stay in there. Although I won’t be home until later when you arrive mainly because I’ll be recording a video with Tommy and Phil.” He told Y/N, and she just listened, “Alright, then that’s settled.” She said before she grew confused, “How will I get to the house?” She asked and George shrugged, “I could have Tommy and his dad pick you up when he comes to pick me up.” He said, and Y/N nodded even though no one could see her.
“Sounds good to me.” She said, “Well I will arrive around 9 am, so.” She muttered, looking at her phone, “That’s perfect because Tommy said he’d be around at my apartment at 9:30, and the airport is only a 20 minute drive away.” He informed her, and she nodded, shooting Tommy a quick text and telling him to keep it under wraps since he was streaming. The other two in the call were silent, enjoying the time where George and Y/N weren’t arguing. “Well I better go, I need to go pack and I also need to fix my sleep schedule.” She sighed out, before saying her goodbye’s. Leaving the call, everything hit her like a brick. She was going to leave to see George in two days. Hearing her phone ring, she saw Sapnap was calling her, answering it she put it on speaker so she could hear him while she got ready to pack. “Hey Sap.” She said, and Sapnap greeted her back, “I was wondering if I could see your face before you leave to see George.” He asked, in a very rushed way which was difficult for Y/N to keep up with.
Laughing to herself, she shrugged as Sapnap was one of her best friends and she planned on face revealing to him anyway. Clicking the FaceTime option, she propped her phone up so he could see her packing. Sapnap answered it, only showing half of his face, before his eyes widened at Y/N. She changed a bit from what George had described four months prior, “Wow, George was right. You are hot.” He said, and Y/N laughed, “Although you look a bit different apparently.” He said trying to pinpoint what looked different on her, “Oh, my hair is longer and I also dyed the the underneath of my hair.” She told him, and he nodded noting that her hair did look different from what George said. “Are you nervous?” He asked her, trying to keep the conversation going and Y/N shrugged, “A bit, mainly because I feel like when we meet things will be awkward, and we will manage to argue.” She said, while Sapnap just nodded in understanding.
“Well, if you ask me, I think meeting Tommy is going to be worse, mainly because he get’s to see your face.” He told her, and Y/N grimaced at the thought of the loud child bragging about seeing her face. “Don’t remind me.” She grumbled, while Sapnap laughed at her reaction, “Well, that’s all I need to pack.” She said after a three hour long call with her friend. “I’ll see you later, sleep well.” Sapnap said, before ending the call leaving Y/N to her own thoughts. Shooting Dream a text, asking her for advice that she’d read when she woke up. Sighing, she laid down in bed looking up at her ceiling that seemed bare to her now ever since she took off the stars. “God why did I do this?” She muttered to herself, covering her eyes with her arm before drifting off to sleep.
Finally, it was the day she was leaving for the UK. She was at the airport with her two suitcases waiting to board the plane. She had coffee in her hand as it was super early for her, and she was on call with Callahan who didn’t speak back but would text responses in return. “Callahan, I board in seven minutes holy shit.” She said, starting to panic a little, and Callahan quickly tried to calm her down making some typos along the way. “Okay I can do this.” She whispered to herself, and Callahan sent a message telling her that she’d be alright and he’d be here for her when she landed. Callahan planned on staying on the call, even though he’d be left alone for some hours. Their plan was as soon as she lands, she’d join the call and let him know she had landed. Thankfully he’d be awake as he was busy coding stuff for the new manhunt. “Well that’s my plane, I’ll see you after I land.” She told him, and he sent a quick goodbye before she left the call.
Y/N got on the plane and decided she’d sleep the entire plane ride. She had thankfully gotten first class, so she had privacy. Reclining back, she put on the movie that seemed least interesting so she wouldn’t get engaged in it. Shortly falling asleep, she woke up a couple times and would restart the movie if it had ended. Finally, after what seemed like days she finally heard the voice saying they were landing. Stretching she groaned hearing her body crack, and got up when they officially landed. Walking out and going to get her luggage, she went to get something to eat and a drink She joined the call back to see that Karl was also in the call along with Dream. “Hey guys, I landed.” She spoke up, and she got a response from Callahan first, and Karl soon unmuted, “That’s good, I hope things go well.” He said, while Dream finally unmuted, “I was about to head to bed, but I’m glad you made it safely.” He said, before he muted again going back to whatever it was he was doing. Karl and Y/N spoke for a bit, till she got a message from Tommy saying he was here.
Leaving the call, she walked out and looked around for the tall teenager, and finally spotted him looking at his phone with his face covered by a mask. “Hello Tommy.” She said, and Tommy looked up from his phone, seeing the girl approach him without a mask, figuring it was because she had food and a drink. Walking over to her, he pulled her into a hug, “Hello Y/N, I can’t wait to brag to George that I met you before him.” He said while the girl rolled her eyes, as someone grabbed her luggage that she was struggling to bring as her hands were full from the drink and food. “I bet.” She said, and they all got into his car, as she was full on jet lagged. “You can sleep, I’ll wake you up when we get there.” The older male spoke up, and she thanked him, closing her eyes to let the sleep consume her. Feeling herself being picked up, she groaned a bit but kept her eyes closed wanting to go back to sleep.
Hearing muffled voices she could decipher some of the sentences, but the rest were just gibberish to her, “Let her sleep, I’ll wake her up when I get back.” She heard someone say, before she fell back asleep. George looked down at the sleeping girl and rolled his eyes, “First day here and she’s already getting treated like a princess.” He muttered under his breath sarcastically, as he had to carry her into the guest room. Getting up and leaving, he couldn’t help but think of what was to come. After 6 hours of hanging out, George walked into his apartment, and was shocked to see Y/N on the couch watching some random movie. “Hello Georgie.” She spoke, and George just looked at her, “Seems like you’ve made yourself at home.” He said walking over to the couch and sat down beside her, keeping his distance. Y/N looked over at him and her lips tugged up into a smirk, “What are you smirking about?” George asked, looking over at her.
“A little birdie told me that you said you’d give me a night to remember.” She told him, and George froze before he looked over at her once more, “I’m going to kill Sapnap.” He said gritting his teeth, and Y/N shrugged, turning her attention to the movie. “Why don’t you give me a night to remember then Georgie? Hm?” George now clenched his jaw as he turned his head grabbing Y/N’s jaw forcefully making her look over at him. “Someone’s being a bit cocky.” George said, and Y/N just looked at him and groaned when George moved his hand down wrapping it around her neck. “Not so cocky now, are we?” He teased, leaning forwards and chuckled into her ear. Y/N was genuinely shocked at how quick he switched. “It’s the first day, and you’re already wanting me to fuck the shit out of you.” He mumbled, and Y/N shivered, letting out a soft whine.
“Don’t act like you don’t want to.” She bit back, and George just looked at her before laughing dryly, “Who said I don’t want to?” He told her, as he grabbed some of her hair, forcing her head to lean back. Tightening his grip around her neck she whimpered out, and closed her eyes, clenching her thighs together. George noticed this and smirked, “Someone’s enjoying this.” He said, and Y/N was about to let out some curses but she bit her tongue to hold herself back. Moving his hand away from her throat, he started unbuckling his belt while Y/N watched him in a daze. “Stop staring and strip.” He demanded and Y/N immediately obeyed, stripping off her clothes. George looked at her body, and he bit his lips, “Come on then.” He said patting his now bare lap and Y/N quickly straddled his lap.
“Since you’ve been so rude every time we talk, maybe it’s time I fuck some sense into you.” George whispered to her, as he grabbed her hips lifting her up so she could easily slide down onto his dick. “You’re on the pill right?” He asked, and Y/N just nodded her head, before she let out a loud moan at the feeling of George stretching her out. He leaned his head back, letting out a slight groan at the feeling. Tightening his grip on her hips when she tried to, she groaned, “Why?” She whined, and George just leaned forward moving her hair out of the way as he kissed the back of her neck, “You are to stay like this until I feel like fucking you.” He told her, and Y/N shivered at the kiss only listening because she enjoyed this feeling. “Such a good girl, I figured you would be a brat since you act like one.” His voice rang through her mind, and Y/N just whimpered leaning her head back on his shoulder.
“George, please I can’t wait any longer.” She begged, and George just smirked before he lifted her off of him, and threw her on the other side of his couch. Y/N yelped as she was thrown, before she had the chance to raise up George had a hold of her hips making her ass stick up in the air. Pushing down on her back so she was perfectly arching her back, he was holding onto her hips making sure he left bruises. Slamming into her, Y/N moaned out loudly, gripping one of the stray pillows that was near her. Biting her bottom lip, George kept relentlessly pounding into her while Y/N was now a blabbering mess. George enjoyed this as he reached forwards grabbing a handful of her hair and tugged on it. “You look so beautiful like this, so sweaty for me.” He teased, while Y/N just let out an incoherent ‘fuck you’.
Not liking this, George brought his hand up and slammed it down onto her ass. Letting out a small scream, Y/N felt herself grow closer, and George reached around now toying with her clit. He himself was feeling close to his climax, and Y/N could tell from how sloppy his thrusts were getting. Using the hand that had her hair in it, he moved his hand up grabbing her neck bringing her up so she was against his chest. “Fuck George-” She muttered, leaning her head back against George’s shoulder much like earlier. George gave sloppy kisses along her jawline and neck, as they both let out a loud groan. Y/N mumbled words, and George let out a quick, “Fuck” as they both felt themself cum. Pulling out, George watched as some of it leaked out and onto her thighs.
Wiping away the sweat that was on his forehead, he picked her up, “Have you seen the bathroom?” He asked Y/N, who only shook her head, “You’re about to see it now.” He told her as the two made their way into the bathroom. It had a shower, and a bathtub, “Pick which one.” He told her, and Y/N looked between both and pointed to the tub, “I would’ve chosen the shower if it weren’t for how my legs could give out at any moment.” She whispered embarrassed, and George chuckled as he sat her down on the side of the tub, her feet in the tub. “Let me how you want the water to feel.” He said, turning it on and Y/N waited till it felt good, and she nodded, “That’s good.” She said, as she sunk down into the tub.
George smiled at her, as he went over to the cabinet under the sink to grab the bubble mixture. Pouring some into the water, he watched as Y/N mixed it around which formed bubbles. Sinking down into the water, he brought Y/N over to his body, and let her relax against him. “Don’t tell Dream or Sapnap, they had a bet. I really don’t want to lose.” He said, while Y/N lightly laughed at his words, as he massaged her shoulders. “I’m still going to be here for 3 more months, so they are bound to know it happened at one point.” She shrugged, and George hummed in agreement.

Word count: 1,962
You grinned as you flew through the air with your feathers glinting in the low sunlight. You absolutely loved the feeling of freedom you got whenever you flew. It always gave you a sense of calm when you needed a break from your family. You loved them of course, but you needed a break once and a while; you often felt drained if you didn’t take some time to yourself. The cold air rushed past you as you continued to flap your wings to keep you in the air.
You could not see the ground below you as you soared higher into the clouds, weaving in and out of them. Flying higher, you steadied yourself to look at the sunset. The mixture of pinks, oranges, and yellows blended together perfectly. You always loved the sunset, it was one of the only consistent things in your life. You wished that you could stay hovering hundreds of feet above the ground, but mobs were going to be spawning soon. The last time you stayed out past sunset you had almost gotten killed by a skeleton. Your dad had given you quite the lecture after he made sure that you were alright. You still had the scars on your arms from when it tried to shoot you out of the air.
You angled yourself so you were upside down, put your arms tight to your sides, and extended your wings fully behind you. You dove closer and closer to the earth, quickly picking up speed. The wind whipped around you as you gained velocity, getting closer and closer to the ground by the millisecond. At the last second, you fully extended your wings and drastically slowed your descent to the ground. The extra velocity you had made you soar up once again before you regained control and landed safely on the ground. The adrenaline that the skydive gave you was the most exhilarating feeling you’ve ever felt, and you were always craving it. Your dad didn’t find it as fun or exhilarating as you did.
“(Y/N) (M/N) MINECRAFT.”
Your father’s voice boomed from behind you. You could tell that he was in a lecturing mood without even having to look at him. He grabbed your arm and spun you around. Grabbing your other arm, he looked you up and down with worried blue eyes. After seeing that you were alright, his gaze hardened and he took a deep breath.
“Do you have any idea how dangerous that was?”
He rattled on and on about how you could’ve killed yourself, but quite frankly you didn’t care if you died or got hurt. In your opinion, the adrenaline you got was worth it. You had three lives you could spend, and if you did die, you wanted to go out with a bang all three times. What could you say? You were an adrenaline junkie through and through.
He started to drag you inside the house mid lecture. Swinging open the door, he pulled you towards the kitchen, where the scent of fresh mushroom stew wafted from the pot on the stove. Your brothers looked at you each with their own different reactions. Techno looked as stoic as ever, Wilbur eyed you with slight disapproval, and Tommy looked at you with awe and excitement. They must’ve seen your little trick through the window.
“(Y/N) THAT WAS POGGERS! YOU WERE SUCH A BADA-”
Tommy’s excited rant was cut short as he saw the stern look on Philza’s face. After a few moments of hesitation, your brothers were making small talk with each other with Philza occasionally chiming in. Poking idly at your food, you contemplated how you should go about apologizing to your dad.
You supposed that the best route you could go was telling him that you wouldn’t do that again, but you knew you would do it again. That was the biggest adrenaline rush you’ve ever gotten and you were already craving it again. You couldn’t lie to your dad, your wings always gave you away by twitching uncomfortably whenever you lied. On the other hand, telling him that you felt empty when you didn’t have adrenaline coursing through your veins was not an option. He already has enough to worry about with working to provide for four teenagers. Deciding that your best bet was to lie to him and hope for the best, you zoned back into the conversation around you. Tommy was ranting about how he had broken his favorite sword dueling Techno.
“-do you have any idea how long it took me to find that enchantment, Techno?”
Techno huffed slightly in amusement. “Actually I do because I helped you find that enchantment. We found it in the village together, remember?”
“Tommy,” Philza said tiredly, “we can get you another enchanted sword. Techno, you need to be more gentle with your little brother. You have to remember he’s three years younger than you, so he has less experience in dueling.”
Tommy grumbled to himself, busying himself with shoveling food in his mouth. Wilbur glanced at him with disgust.
“Do you have to eat like that, Tommy? It’s disgusting.”
“Well, Wilbur, it’s not my fault I’m hungry.”
“You’re eating like we don’t feed you.”
You usually enjoyed it whenever your siblings argue back and forth like this, but lately it didn’t make you feel anything. You didn’t feel much anymore if you weren’t pulling off impulsive stunts. Of course, you hid it from your family and acted like you did before. It was relatively easy since you were naturally a quiet person. You thought you were doing a great job at it, you pride yourself on your acting skills.
Dinner went by fast without anything notable happening. Since it was your night to clean up, you got to work after everyone parted ways for the night. You stacked the dishes left on the dinner table and got to work washing them. Luckily, since you lived with three teenage boys, you never had to deal with leftovers. You subconsciously stretched and twitched your wings, feeling restless without feeling the wind moving through your feathers. After you got done with putting the dishes away, you took a deep breath and set out on your search for Philza.
Walking into the living room, you saw Techno sitting near the fireplace reading one of his mythology books. “Hey, Tech. Do you know where Dad is? I need to talk to him.”
Without looking up from his book, he responded in his usual monotone voice. “Yeah, he’s up in his room. I think he’s going to bed early.” He paused for a second before looking up at you with sincerity. “You know, he was terrified when he saw you earlier. He thought that you weren’t gonna stop yourself in time. Hell, we all thought you were gonna die.”
That made you feel guilty. He already had to deal with providing and raising you four and he didn’t need anything else to worry about. You felt your wings droop slightly as you sighed.
“...Thanks, T. G’night, love you.”
You started to speed walk to Philza’s room without giving him time to respond. You needed to apologize to him and fast. Out of all your siblings, you were always the one to hate conflict and would always apologize first whenever you got into a disagreement with anyone. You were always the pacifist.
Walking past Tommy in the hallway, he tried to stop you to talk to you, but you ignored him with a dismissive wave of your wing. You heard him mumbling to himself as he started to walk down the stairs, probably to challenge Techno to a rematch. You nervously fluttered your wings, feathers occasionally brushing against the walls and causing you to shiver slightly at the small touch. Your hands were shaking slightly as you took a steadying deep breath and knocked on Philza’s door. Hearing his tired “come in”, you slowly opened his door. He situated himself so that he was sitting on the edge of his bed and gestured for you to sit next to him.
“Hey, Dad. I-I just wanted to say sorry for worrying you earlier. If I knew that it would stress you out, I wouldn’t have done it.” You sat next to him.
He sighed as he wrapped an arm across your shoulders, pulling you into his side. “I don’t care if it stressed me out. You could’ve gotten killed from a fall at that height. You could have lost a life. I don’t know what I would’ve done if you didn’t open your wings in time.”
“I know, I’m sorry.”
“Then why’d you do it if you knew that you could’ve gotten yourself killed? I just want to understand why you would pull a stunt like that, I’d never expect you out of all of your siblings to do something so dangerous.”
You took a deep breath as you contemplated your next words. You really wanted to tell him about how you felt empty without putting yourself in danger. You wanted to tell him that you didn’t feel like yourself anymore. Unconsciously, your wings started to twitch and pull themselves closer to your body.
You jumped when you felt something else wrap around you. You looked back and saw black feathers. Looking back up at your father, he looked at you with a concerned expression.
“Take a deep breath, you’re shaking hun.”
You looked down at your hands and to your surprise, they were shaking. You took a few deep breaths and clasped your hands together tightly while Philza rubbed comforting circles on your back.
“...It’s just that, I haven’t been feeling like myself lately, if that makes any sense. It’s like I can’t feel anything anymore without doing stupid things that could get me killed. It wasn’t the first time I’ve dived like that. One time I lost control and almost flew into lava-filled ravine.”
“...How long have you felt like this?”
“A few months now.”
Philza felt his heart break, how did he not notice that you were different for months? You could’ve gotten yourself hurt or permanently maimed yourself and it would’ve been his fault because he didn’t notice your mood shift.
“I’m so sorry I didn’t notice sooner.”
“It’s not your fault, Dad. I didn’t tell you anything was wrong. Please don’t blame yourself.”
“We can help you find something that’ll help you. Something less dangerous.”
“We?”
“Your brothers and I. They’ve been listening this entire time, weren’t you, boys?”
You heard shuffling and muffled voices arguing with each other before the door opened to reveal your sheepish brothers. Wordlessly, they all filed into the room. Tommy grabbed your shoulders and yanked you into a tight hug. You felt Wilbur hug your other side before he pulled Techno into the group hug also. You felt feathers tickle your cheek as Philza joined, wrapping his giant wings around you all. The family hasn’t had a group hug since you all started to hit your teenage years. For the first time in a while, you felt happy without risking your life.
After that night, you were right in your assumption that you’d be grounded (literally and metaphorically) from flying for a while while your family worked hard to find something safe that gave you a distraction. Soon, Wilbur found a book about the intricacies of redstone working and you were hooked. Sure, your family was rambunctious and a strange group, but you wouldn’t want it any other way.
