Lost Scorose Fanfic

I am forever searching for this fic, it was absolutely brilliant. It featured all the next generation with different chapters focusing on different characters. I remember it was 2 separate fics following mainly Scorpius, Rose, Albus and James in Hogwarts (James was seventh year and the others were in fifth year) I can’t remember the plot but there was a lot of angst and it was a gritty take on the characters with many of them becoming spoiled and bratty with fame. The second part continued the story after Hogwarts and included Lily as a seventh year playing a sort of mean girl character. Harry and Ginny divorced, I think in the second fic and Scorpius and Rose get together, he plays professional quidditch and they break up. But when Ron dies he appears without hesitation and she takes him back. James in an asshole in general but has a fling with a girl named Kate in the first one and meets her again in the second fic when they are older but she is engaged? Albus is full of angst and hates Scorpius, Rose and Scorpius sleep together in the first fic but Rose tells Albus it lasted two seconds and humiliates Scorpius. These are all the details I can remember also I know the author wrote a fic in the same timeline/universe about Rose when she was in first or second year and got kidnapped and they reference it a few times in the other fics. The name rubadubdub comes to mind for the author but I’m not sure. They were completed multi-chapters; like 80 chapters maybe. Please help me find it it was such a great read.

James cheering, almost strangling Merlin in happiness as Albus finally asks Scorpius to be his boyfriend in the Great Hall in front of everyone in the most extravagant way possible with Sirius in the background doing the hula in a hula skirt and flower accessories.

This is a headcanon I've had for some time...

Albus is such a softie, when it comes to Scorpius, he sometimes doesn't even realize it, and it will always be within the little things they call their own.

I imagine them laying down by the fireplace in their common room, thinking they've come so far from the shy little children, who didn't know why their cheeks would turn red everytime the other smiled back, or that would make everyone go crazy hearing them talk about each other every time they got the chance.

Albus had now a safe place where he wasn't expected to be anyone except himself, Scorpius would have his, where his light could shine bright and free, where he didn't have to fight and prove anything, because Albus would always see him for who he really was and love every little bit of it.

I imagine them being dorks, Albus undoubtedly falling asleep on Scorpius lap, as this reads him for the third time about something Albus will probably need to remember for his test the next day, but he's too tired to focus on, feeling the weight of an strenuous day fall off his shoulders. Scorpius would look at him with a deep sigh and a soft smile while he closes his books and just plays with each strand of Albus' curls, and as they lie together one more night he's sure he's never loved anyone this way before, no one ever has made his heart melt and rush the way Albus can and he loves him for that and so much more.

Eventually they'll find themselves cuddling pass midnight until one of them is awaken by the cold in the room, and because Albus is a jerk that's actually not sleeping anymore, he'll pretend long enough for Scorpius to carry him all the way back to bed and as they rest together in bed. Albus would place his hand over his chest and immediately fall asleep to his warmth again.

Ok but Albus acting out in front of everyone and Scorpius crying multiple times throughout the day when they are set apart is a thought that haunts me. Albus listens to " feel like setting the world on fire" music and Scorpius is like" I'll never love again".

Ginny was the parent who would care for Albus most. But even she wasn't there all the time. Harry would try but it wasn’t the same.

Albus knew Scorpius liked Rose. He never said anything until they started dating. Definitely brought up in best man speech.

Albus is less protective of Lily. He knows she can handle herself.

He actually made friends with Draco Malfoy, something his father never did.

        Lily hadn't seen Teddy since she got caught in the rain and had to take shelter at his apartment and she hadn’t stopped thinking about his since. She had gotten so close, so close to taking a step towards what she had always wanted, but she had chickened out and she had been beating herself up ever since. She would be lying if she said she hadn’t gotten dressed with Teddy in mind, carefully picking at the gold, sheer dress with shimmering detail. Lily wasn’t normally one to be nervous at public events but tonight her palms were sweating and she couldn’t manage to catch her breath. 

She didn’t see him for the first couple of hours, so she mingled and socialized, sipping at champagne. She had lost count of how many boys, and some girls, had tried to hit on her, but none of them were Teddy so she paid them no mind. Finally she caught sight of his blue head of hair and she quickly made her way towards him, only to stop dead in tracks when she saw who he was talking to. Rose. It was Rose who he was standing so close to, tucking her hair behind her ear, his lips lingering by her ear. It didn’t take long for Lily to put two and two together and she felt the world fall beneath her feet and tears prick at her eyes. 

Lily never showed vulnerability in public, at least, not the real kind and she was not about to cry in the middle of the ballroom, so she turned on her heels, quickly making her way through the crowd before the tears that were pooling in her eyes overflowed. She didn’t even realize that she had brushed passed her brother, or that he quickly followed after her all the way to through the doors into the moonlit night. 

She didn’t hear him until the tears had already started falling down her cheeks, streaking her makeup. “Fuck.” She sobbed, startled by his footsteps behind her. “Go away Albus, I’m fine. Please just give me a minute.” She said, turning her face away to hide her tears, her slender arms hugging her body.
