My apologies for the angst of these two chapters… but not everything can go well!

****
Pairing: Ben Barnes x fem!Reader
Warnings: Fluff, angst, Slow burn, professor AU.!
Summary: Coming out of a divorce and trying to get used to being a single mom, while teaching your classes at University, you thought your life could not get more complicated than it already is. But when you are asked to take care of the theatre club with the colleague that you really can’t get along with, you realize that everything can still get ten times more complicated in your life. And when you start actually liking Professor Barnes, the troubles only grow exponentially…

Daniel looked up from his music sheet and blinked a couple of times, which only made you laugh.
Ben was being obvious again. It was a miracle that he had not called you ‘darling’ yet, you had noticed the way it had almost slipped a couple of times, but he had managed to hold it back. Still, with physical touch as his love language, it was difficult to be in the same room as you without touching you. And being seated next to you for an hour and not being able to reach out was actual torture.
Ben was glancing over at your hand so much, people were starting to notice, like Daniel over there, sitting opposite you. He noticed as well the way Ben tightened his hold on his pen to refrain his urge to simply reach out and touch you. You moved your hand away, earning a blush from Ben as he seemed to notice his own behaviour. And Daniel refrained a laugh.
God, this was a disaster… you would never be able to hide your relationship at work, this was terrible…
“So, how are we handling ‘Roxanne’?” Nathaniel asked, and it was your turn to notice how obvious he and Daniel were at stealing glances.
You couldn’t help but draw the comparison between you and Ben. Was that really how you were together?
There was a lot to be discussed, as always at the end of a session for the theatre club. February had arrived, and with its snow and bitter cold came the realisation that a good chunk of the year had passed already. And you had a lot left to do.
Roberta and Giselle, especially, seemed to start getting stressed because of the timelines to be met. You had started planning repetitions with the choir and the band affiliated to the university, and you were all anxious to make them all waste their time on your behalf.
“Don’t worry, we’ll be ready!” you reassured the group, but Ben didn’t say a thing.
“Ben doesn’t seem to agree.”
“We’ll have to be fine. Besides, these are rehearsals. Rehearsals are here so that we can all make a lot of mistakes while no one is watching.”
Despite his soft words, you could recognise a tinge of worry.
“That’s because he’s the pessimist in this team, and his job is to worry about every tiny thing that could possibly go wrong, while the rest of us have fun!” you answered in a grin, making everyone laugh, the air clearing again.
“Someone has to be responsible in this bunch…” Ben mumbled in faked annoyance, and you couldn’t help the tenderness that softened your gaze.
“A true worrier. Overthinker and too organized for his own good.”
“At least, I’m not a tidal wave of pure chaos.”
“The rules of physics have proclaimed that chaos always grows, no matter what you do. I’ve simply decided to stop fighting and go with the flow,” you fought back playfully, adding a hand-gesture to mark your point.
He was the first to break, unable to refrain a chuckle any longer, and you soon joined him.
“Well, as long as you stop messing my own stuff…”
You raised some surprised eyebrows.
“I do beg your pardon?”
“We should stop making our meetings for the club in my office, you always mess up my desk.”
You rolled your eyes, although a playful smile was tugging at your lips.
“Oh, poor Ben. I’ve displaced your red pen from its designated spot.”
It was his time to roll his eyes, but he bit his tongue and didn’t reply. You wondered why.
You planned out the rest of the month, giving everyone their goals and missions for the upcoming weeks. All the songs were integrated in the structure of the play now, but a few scenes needed to be rewritten, and you had not clearly worked on placement on stage yet, at least not for all of the songs or scenes. Costumes, decors, instrumentals… all of this was still to be planned too.
A lot of work to be accomplished, and yet, the students were still thrilled by the whole adventure. If they were sometimes worried, they were still highly motivated, and as soon as they got to play, they were excited and happy. It was a relief to find them all so enthusiastic still, you reckoned that you would have struggled with such a workload if it weren’t for the fun you were having with the group. And the fact that your boyfriend was participating didn’t hurt either.
As your students hurried outside the room to join their classes for the afternoon, Ben and you lingered for a while, finishing up planning and re-reading some scenes to make sure the dialogues were good to go. And as you were alone, Ben could finally reach for you and hold your hand in his. You couldn’t refrain a smile as he did.
“Okay! Done!” he proclaimed, closing his laptop and rubbing the edge of his nose. “I’m not working on that for the rest of the week.”
“Do you think we’ll be ready for May?”
He heaved a worried sigh.
“I don’t know, to be honest. It’s much harder than a regular play. But… as I’m the pessimistic one in this relationship…”
You giggled, leaning against his arm.
“You truly are!”
“A worrier, that’s what I am,” he nodded, but his voice lacked the playfulness it had harboured seconds ago, and you frowned at the sound.
“Hey… we’re in this together. It’ll be just fine…”
“Yeah… no… that’s…” he heaved a heavy sigh before speaking once more. “I’m not worried about the club. Not too much, at least. I’m… I’m worried about Saturday.”
“Oh…”
You looked down, averting your eyes, but you rested your head on his shoulder all the same, your thumb tracing a line across his knuckles. You had decided to tell Sally about the two of you this weekend. You would have been lying if you had pretended not to be worried about her reaction. Although there was no reason for her not to take the news well. After all, she loved Ben.
“I’m sure Sally will be happy about it,” you reassured him.
But Ben shrugged.
“I don’t know… It’s one thing that I spend time with the two of you, it’s another that I date her mother.”
“She’s young, she doesn’t really understand all this.”
“Perhaps you’re right.”
You waited patiently for him to speak again, feeling that he had more to say, but he needed time to choose the right words.
“I just… I know that you will always choose Sally. And I’m not complaining about it, that’s perfectly normal, she’s your daughter. But I… I’m afraid this will have to end if Sally doesn’t give me a chance.”
You tightened your hold on his hand without noticing.
“I’m sure it’ll be fine.”
Ben nodded, deciding to change the subject, even though it was still obvious that he wasn’t convinced.
“Anyway, a coffee before going back to work, darling?”
You nodded enthusiastically.
“Let’s go to my office, I don’t feel like being interrupted by another colleague,” Ben proposed, and you nodded, but also remembered his strange reaction from your teasing earlier on.
“Ben? You weren’t upset when I teased you about being organised, right?” you asked as you stood up from your chair, and Ben picked up his laptop, tugging it under his arm as he stood as well. “You know it wasn’t meant as a critic, I was just joking around…”
“Of course, darling! I’m not that susceptible.”
“I don’t know you… you stopped yourself when you were about to say something.”
But he turned to you then, right before reaching the closed door, and a devilish grin informed you that he wasn’t upset at all, indeed.
“Hmmm… yeah, I couldn’t say that in front of the kids. They’re too young for that kind of things,” he joked, but you frowned, not fully understanding what he meant.
Your heart stumbled in your chest as he leant closer, wrapping an arm around your waist, dark eyes flickering to your lips and then back to your eyes.
“I wanted to tease you about how you mess up my desk.”
You looked away, struggling to breathe as you pictured the scene... You and him pressed together, lips sealed, fingers looking for bare skin…
“Right… I see.”
“And even though I adore this activity, I couldn’t say…”
“No, you couldn’t!” you interrupted him, taking a step back as you tried to regulate both your heart and your breathing. Ben’s low chuckle told you he was enjoying your flushed self a lot.
“Come on, darling,” he went on, nodding towards the door and his smile was tempting as it grew brighter, something dangerous glittering in his black eyes. “Let’s mess up my desk before going back to work…”
Tumblr media
You had rarely been this anxious in your life. And perhaps it was a little ridiculous, but then again, tonight was so important.
You had to tell Sally that Ben and you were more than friends. It was time. Ben and you were doing fine; you were doing amazing, as a matter of fact. You had no doubts left that he loved you, that he was ready to be responsible with Sally, that he was here for the long run. That you both wanted this to work, that you were ready to put your heart on the table, an offering of a wounded and vulnerable prey, and you trusted him to mend the organ instead of eating it raw. Perhaps it was silly, given that you had been together for barely three months. Still, it was real. It was what you wanted. And Sally needed to know.
That’s why you were now sitting with Ben in front of the sofa, Sally sitting on the furniture in her pirate pyjamas, holding her bunny and throwing suspicious glances at you and Ben.
It was the evening, you had eaten together, a meal Ben had cooked, nothing too fancy but delicious all the same. It was the evening, and outside the world was full of darkness and yellow lights.
“What’s going on?” Sally asked, narrowing her eyes.
“We… we need to talk with you about something, angel,” you spoke in a soft, quiet voice that you hoped soothing and steady enough to hide your nerves.
She seemed worried by your tone though, and you hated that. You struggled to swallow, and Ben spoke in your stead when you remained silent. You had planned out your speech. Ben had written it down when you had started spiralling the day before at lunchtime. You had learned it, and yet now, it seemed… so hard to say the right words.
“First, we need you to know that… this is changing nothing about your parents. And that your mom and dad are always going to do what’s best for you first, no matter what.”
You nodded, before diving.
“You see… Ben and I, we… we’re a couple now.”
It was a little blunt, more so than the gentle phrases you had eloquently written the day before. But it was earnest, and you couldn’t say it any other way.
Sally didn’t say anything, she just looked back and forth between you and Ben.
“It means that… Ben is going to spend more and more time with us, that’s all,” you tried to reassure your daughter, although her reaction was unreadable. “For you, that’s the only thing that will change for the time being. Ben is just… going to be around more. And help me take care of you sometimes, the same he’s already been doing, really. Nothing big is going to suddenly change, you don’t have to worry about that. But… we needed to tell you. Because we… we’re not going to hide the way we feel in front of you. I know that it’s complicated for you to understand, that it’s adult stuff but…”
You fell immediately silent when Sally started crying.
Tears fell quietly at first, and then a gentle hush sound, and then a true cry, and soon she was sobbing and wailing… and you remained frozen in place, staring at her tiny frame shaking and her cheeks wet with tears.
You blinked, it took you what seemed like forever to react, to reach out for your daughter.
“Sally, calm down, it’s not a bad news. Why are you crying?”
“Sally, it’s alright, nothing’s going to change,” Ben added, but Sally kept on crying.
You stood up and reached to hold her, but Sally pushed you away, and you heart broke at the sight.
“NO!” your daughter cried. “I DON’T WANT THAT! I DON’T WANT BEN!”
“Sally, calm down…”
“NO! NO!”
Before you could stop her, Sally had jumped from the couch and was running into her bedroom. You heard the door closing with force, and then everything was still.
Ben hadn’t dared to move, still sitting on the carpet, looking wide-eyed in the direction of your daughter’s room. When he finally turned to you, you exchanged a blank glance. He moved to sit closer in what seemed to be slow motion, as if reluctant, as if afraid of what would happen once he would have reached you. And he was right to be wary. You were crying when you looked at him again, and he knew too well why tears were staining your cheeks now.
Sally was everything to you. She prevailed over everything else in your life. You would have done anything for her, including sacrificing the man you loved, giving up on your own happiness.
If Sally couldn’t accept Ben as your partner, you would leave him.
When he reached out, wrapped his arm around your shoulders to hold you close, lips pressed to your hair, you both started crying.
And you wondered if this meant that it would be your last evening with the man you loved.

Okay I've been thinking about this pretty much all day since I saw the hbomberguy and then todd in the shadows video i just have so many thoughts. While I wouldn't necessarily call myself a Video Essayist™ (I've only made a few over the years) as a youtuber and someone who has made video essays i definitely have more experience than the average person. There are so many things that stand out to me about this whole debacle i dont even know where to start.
First I want to just give a little insight into the process for making video essays from people who've never given it a shot and just how absurd it is to do the type of plagiarizing James has done. Video essays take a fuckton of research, even for pretty simple topics, but on top that you also have to make them with the medium of video in mind. it's really not enough to just take an essay you would write for a class and read it out loud. the flow is different, you have to have accompanying visuals, often background music, etc. They're a beast to make. My Twisted video for which i used literally two sources for my research (Sondheim's books and the musical Twisted) still took days of thorough reading, note taking, watching the musical, watching the musical again, watching the musical and taking notes, cross-referencing my notes, etc. For videos that synthesize multiple sources or are covering multiple pieces of media, that time goes up exponentially. Then there's writing, recording, gathering clips (often one of the most difficult parts depending on how obscure what you're talking about is), and editing. Even for a silly video like my Glee video, I still had to do a ton of research to make sure I was getting things correct, and that was a funny tier list about freaking Glee! There is just no way you could come up with a thorough analysis by just copying and pasting. Which brings me to my next point.
I think James may have thought (or more likely rationalized) what he was doing as analysis based on like the vaguest definition. When you do any kind of analysis, what you're doing is taking research from multiple different places (news articles, primary sources, existing analysis, etc.) and coming to your own conclusions, whether that's a synthesis of those different sources, or applying it to a specific thing like a movie. Really simple example is my Twisted video where I take Sondheim's writing and apply it to a specific piece of media (in this case Twisted). I'm using existing work but coming to my own conclusion. In the Spies Are Forever video, I took existing research about the Lavender Scare and the Hays Code, including primary sources from the time period, and applied it to the musical Spies are Forever. What James seem to do is take a bunch of existing scholarship, copy and paste it all together and then come to a "conclusion" that was not actually his own original thoughts but either "facts" he completely made up or something that didn't do anything to actually link his other "sources" together. I can see why it has the veneer of analysis, but making up a random "fact" you think might be true is not the same as a drawing a conclusion based on research.
I also think Todd made a really good point in the part about England's propaganda campaign against Italy around 9:30 that it's just really bad video making to not include examples of images from this so called propaganda campaign. I have a ton of examples of news clips, government reports, etc. in my SaF video about the Lavender Scare because...it was a real historic thing that happened! If something was supposedly so widespread and not even that long ago, you can probably find evidence of it somewhere. Kaz Rowe (who is also linked in the queer creators playlist on hbomberguy's vid) talked about this a lot in their video about tiktok misinfo where people often make these outrageous claims but the thing is if something so outrageous happened (like people constantly shitting on the floors of versailles), other people at the time would probably be talking about it somewhere. It's a big red flag when someone makes such bold claims and has no evidence to back it up.
Putting this last section under the cut because I go talk about WWII, Nazis, and HIV/AIDS a bit (watch Todd's video for some more context) so if you don't want to see that post is over here.
Lastly I wanted to talk about something else Kaz brings up in a lot of their videos when talking about historical topics and that is the tendency to dehumanize people of the past, often as unwashed, unintelligent masses who would just do any ridiculous disgusting thing because they were so stupid and disgusting. There are a lot of things to criticize about the people of the past and their actions obviously, but we cannot forgot that they were in fact, people. Real individual people with their own lives and dreams and ambitions and individual opinions and they have never been and never will be a monolith. Claiming anything is broadly true of "the victorians" or "the ancient egyptians" or whatever other vague historical group you want to talk about is usually a lot more nuanced than "they all thought or acted in this one particular way". I'm certainly not a historian and i've only done one history focused video but James Somerton seemed to make a lot of broad historical claims in his videos that I think fall into this trap.
The one that stood out most to me in Todd's video was the claim about Nazi body standards which is a whole mess in general that Todd goes into for a while, but the way he talks about WWII soldiers was just like...weird. Besides the fact that a lot of his claims about Nazis seem to be bordering on glorifying them and their aesthetics (gross), I think we should remember that WWII was less than a century ago. There are still over 100,000 surviving WWII vets in the US. My grandfather who was in the Army during WWII (he didn't serve overseas but he was an enlisted soldier I can literally look up his enlistment records in the national archives online) was a real person who I obviously knew personally and who died fairly recently. To think he enlisted because he was jealous of German fitness or whatever and wanted to prove how tough Americans are is an absolutely hilarious thing to think if you knew him. I'm sure there are as many reasons for enlisting as there were enlisted soldiers. When James talks about even as relatively narrow of a group as "WWII American soldiers," he's still talking about a very large group of real and diverse people and to make such broad claims that "most" or even "a lot" of them were just so taken in by strong german physiques or whatever is frankly insulting. I haven't watched the entirety of James video so maybe he does address this at some point, but from the clips I've seen it seems very generalized and implies some level of racism when WWII soldiers in fact included a lot of racially diverse people. IDK, i think if you're a supposed historical researcher and you're making a video about WWII and you don't know about groups like the Tuskegee Airmen or the Navajo Code Talkers, that's on you. I don't want to discount some of the really horrible shit that American (and obviously other countries) soldier's did in the war and how many of them held disgusting views (even my grandpa who I love dearly was not the most politically correct person to put it lightly) but Jame's claims are not criticizing any real ideology or the consequences of them, they're oversimplifying complex and harmful historical ideas and attributing them to something he pretty much made up. I'll also give you a little hint about something. When people fall into Nazi ideology, it's because they ultimately agree with the ideology, not for some surface level aesthetic reason of "fitness" or whatever. They are antisemitic, they are racist, they are eugenicists, plain and simple. They don't just think the Nazis are cool except for all their beliefs. I also think (and again I could be missing a part of the video here) the hyper focus on the Germans and the Soviets and not mentioning Italy is at the very least an oversight too. Mussolini, like Hitler and Stalin, had a pretty big campaign of promoting an ideal strong race which he tied to ancient Romans. Like this was also a country controlled by a fascist dictator that American soldiers fought in idk it just seems weird to me to leave it out. (okay edit i looked up the transcript and he does talk about Italian fascism a little bit but only about how Mussolini rose to power, nothing about his ideologies or anything really related to the main topic of body image).
And one more thing on that note that bothered me a lot. I think his claims about HIV/AIDS is probably the most well-known here on tumblr and has been pretty thoroughly destroyed by this point, but I do just want to say one more thing about it which is that AIDS isn't gone! I feel like they way he talks about it from what I've seen of this video makes HIV/AIDS sound like a problem of the past now that we have drugs for it, but that is just not the truth. There are still tens of thousands of new infections in the US each year and way more globally and yes, people do still die from it. I just don't like when people talk about AIDS as if it's this problem of the distant past, a separate era that people went through in the 80s rather than an ongoing epidemic that still does not have a cure. Safer sex, clean needle usage, and getting tested are just as important now as they were in the 80s and 90s and don't forget that.

Michael Myers x Fem! Reader (Headcanon) 18+ only -First Fanfic Ever!-
The Evil Within (tentative title)
Masterlist
Approximately 2,060 words
Pairing: Michael Myers x Fem! Reader
Warnings: Mention of medical procedure, mental health facility, and guns.
A/n: This is my very first fanfic ever! I wrote this with my partners help and I plan on making multiple chapters with my own art for each chapter. Please be considerate about my work since I am a beginner in writing Fanfics, my formatting may be a bit strange. This is an RZ Mikey with my own headcanon thrown in with some relevant reference to the entire series mixed in and out.
Overview: Y/n is an expertly skilled phlebotomist that is asked to come into the Haddonfield 'sanitarium' for a special specimen extraction.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter 1
The sun is setting on the small town of Haddonfield and a cozy orange light seeps through the hospital break room window where you are gathering your belongings to head home. You moved here from Chicago 4 months ago to get away from the stress and cost of the big city. The hospital here was smaller and needed skilled phlebotomists for the towns aging population to be able to get adequate testing done with minimal injury. You were top of your game back in Chicago and when you heard there was an opening to move to a small hospital you jumped at the chance fully knowing you would be first pick. The people here were kind and friendly but only going as far as surface level, it felt like they were all timid of strangers and not to mention the overcrowded mental health facility that expanded after a gruesome incident occurred a while back involving a masked killer. Many of the population that went through the event had become traumatized and unable to cope with the severe PTSD, you knew this town had a dark past but no one seemed to want to talk about it and you certainly weren’t one to push people.
Deanna, a nurse you had become familiar with approached you and said there was a call for you from the Forensic Psychiatry hospital. You felt a bit taken aback at being specifically requested by such a place so you decide to inquire further.
Deanna “I wasn’t able to find you so I took a message down with the number, they want you to call them back as soon as you can, it sounds important” she hands you the paper with her note on it. You open the note and it reads ‘Requesting *Y/N* for difficult specimen extraction, please call 987-8771 ASAP’. You lock eyes with Deanna and she just shrugs, you get up to go over to the wall phone and dial the number.
Beeeeeep …… beeeeep……. Beeeeeep…. “Hello, Dr.Loomis speaking”
“Hi, this is *Y/N* I am returning a call about a difficult specimen?” You try not to sound tired.
“Oh yes, thank you for calling me back so quickly. There is a patient here who needs some bloodwork done for forensic purposes and we have had an extremely troubling time getting his sample. I was informed that you are a very skilled phlebotomist, it was said you could draw blood from a stone.”
You blush at the notion of being almost magically talented “Well, I do have quite a few years of experience under my belt so I am confident in my ability to draw from challenging veins. How come it has been so hard for others? Can you tell me a little about the patient?”
The doctor paused for a while and then spoke “Well the patient is a very large man with violent tendencies, his skin is tough to penetrate and he doesn’t take well to people being close to him. I am sure you have experienced such things in the hospital you were previously employed at in Chicago, so this should be no different”
A large violent man? Your curiosity has grown exponentially, you experienced many different types over the years, some of the worst were the criminals with unstable behaviors, but you still always got a sample from them as if they trusted you naturally from the start.  Your job forced you to be in people’s intimate spaces and it was always a risk for you.
“Ok when do you need me to come in?”
Dr.Loomis responded in a very straightforward tone “Right away, let me give you the address”
You write down the address and say goodbye then hang up the phone.
Deanna had been listening the whole time: “Who was that? What is the situation there?” She had never been so inquisitive in your work before.
You reply “It was a Dr. Loomis; he needs me to head over to the forensic hospital right now and get a specimen". You were already tired from the 12hr shift today but you had an obligation to provide service wherever you are needed. You look over to Deanna, she was white as a sheet, before you could ask what was wrong, she begins to speak “Oh god, that could only mean…. *Y/N* make sure you are careful; you have a right to refuse unsafe work just remember that ok?” she quickly speeds out of the room.
Now you are worried, what am I going to be dealing with? Deanna reacting like that was very unusual but you didn’t have time to think about it so you gather your belongings and set off.
The Forensic hospital is now within your sight, you pull into the parking lot located outside of the massive iron gate with the buildings name on it ‘Smith’s Grove Sanitarium’. It’s already dark outside as the sun had set fully a few minutes ago.For the first time in your career, you feel intimidated. What’s stranger, is that this new feeling excites you: who is this large violent man? I hope he doesn’t give me a hard time. You head up to the buzzer and press down and the gate unlocks immediately, they were expecting you. As you enter the building, the walls are a grayish white and the lights are dimmer than you have typically seen, an oppressive energy is given off from the high ceiling that looms over you. You get to the front desk where a man dressed in all white greets you with an expressionless face, he gives you instructions to go to the basement and find the ward supervisor who would get you set up. You feel a bit perplexed and ask “Where is Dr.Loomis? He is the one who contacted me” The man turns away and mutters “He hasn’t been to this hospital in ten years” You quickly follow up with “Is he still in charge of the patient?” The man is now digging through some files and looks back at you and replies “Dr.Loomis can’t do anything more for him, he just manages the legal files and makes special requests if needed, you better hurry down there so you can get out of here quicker” and with that he walked off with a few folders and disappears down the hall. You get a sense of urgency and quicken your step towards the elevator, you press the button for the basement floor and the doors immediately open; The elevator feels like it is taking longer than usual to get to your floor, eventually the doors open and you see a long hallway with many barred checkpoint doors. At the entrance you see a small man sitting in a chair watching some security camera screens, you walk up to him and state your name and why you are there, he cuts you off mid-sentence and says “Don’t worry I know who you are, follow me, all the supplies are already set up outside his room” This hospital did not feel very well run and seemed like it was not there for care and rehabilitation but more for confinement and punishment.
You make your way through 4 checkpoints and turn a corner and end up at a huge metal door with one small porthole window and dozens of security locks. what were they keeping down here? Why are they being so secretive about this patient? The door is guarded by 2 well-armed men who held large guns in their arms on either side of the door. You spot a familiar cart with all the tools you need for a successful blood draw.  You look at the small man and ask “Where is the patients requisition form?” he sighs and replies “Don’t worry it’s all set up, no need to check we just need you to be quick” You are given the tubes you require and you promptly grab the needed items, as you grab the standard needle the small man laughs and says “Girlie, you are going to need a much bigger gauge for this patient, he might have deep veins but they are huge” You hide your annoyed expression, he shouldn’t try to tell you what to do, they did call YOU after all.  Once you have everything you need the man begins to open the door and says “Be as quick as you can, he is heavily sedated right now but it only works for so long”. The two guard walk into the room with you following right behind them.
When you get inside the room it is extremely dark except for one light that shines down on a bed with what looks like a giant on it. You stop for a second to take in what you are seeing, this man had to have been 6’8” at minimum. The small man snorts and says “I told you he was big, better be quick!” Dr.Loomis’ words echo in your head Large...tough skin… violent you pick up your pace and walk up to this monstrosity of a man and set your things down on the extra bed space near his arm. The man is strapped down all over the place in tight restraints but he is breathing very slowly, he doesn’t react at all to your movements. You grab your tourniquet and try to get it around his massive bicep, you can’t fit the tourniquet enough to tie a loop for occlusion and just as you remove it the small man is behind you and quietly whispers “here, this is the largest one we have… I thought you were briefed on him” You grab the large tourniquet and tie it around the patient’s bicep tight, the beast of a man doesn’t even move. You can already see his vein, it is massive and bulging. These veins are entry level, why has this been such a struggle? You untie the tourniquet and begin cleaning the patients arm and you notice the guards holding their weapons at the ready aimed at the large man. He must be relentlessly violent if they are already aiming at him, I better hurry up. You get your needle ready and retie the patients arm and prepare to poke; the needle goes in with a bit of resistance but when you engage the tube dark red blood starts bursting in and vibrates your sample tube. This man has strong valves so it takes you no time to fill the tubes, once you get to the final tube you set it down after it fills and get the gauze ready for the pull out, when you take out the needle and press the gauze you look up at the patient and your eyes widen. A face covered in long scraggly hair is now staring at you, through the strands you can make out a strong jaw covered in stubble and 2 icy blue eyes that make you feel like time has frozen …until you hear the guards lift their guns and warn you to quickly step back and get out of the room. You snap into action and grab your belongings and race out of the room followed by the guards and they quickly shut and lock the door. You are sweating from fear and you look into the porthole window and he is still staring at you with no expression. The small man starts chuckling “Oh wow that was a close one, it seems the sedation was wearing off sooner than later but I am glad you got the blood” You nod and start taking in air and you back away from the window, you hand the specimens to the small man and settle your nerves. Those eyes, that massive body… for the first time in a while your thoughts gave you butterflies, how can I feel like this after that encounter! But the excitement was more than you had ever felt in years and the man you took blood from seemed unreal, his size alone was mythical and those eyes… they were cold and seemingly dead but you felt a whisper of spirit behind them, an evil spirit.
As you walk away you notice a placard on the wall next to the patient’s door and you read it carefully, you see the name that invoked tales of horror among the people of Haddonfield, that well known name that no one wanted to speak. Michael Myers.

Musicka, Magicka, & Conduits // Demon Tribes AU Supplementary Lore
Tumblr media
There are two major ways in which one may channel power in the world of this AU: Musicka and Magicka. One may do this using the help of a conduit, an enchanted item which is explained further below.
In later times and timelines, it's likely that the differences between these two lost meaning and instead both flattened into the shortened, broad term of "magic". In the contemporary times of this AU, however, they are specifically divided into their two channeling methods, which are then divided further into smaller categories of spheres and spells. This post only goes into the broader dichotomy of Musicka and Magicka, whereas posts regarding whole spellbooks will examine the smaller categories.
Tumblr media
Musicka
Musicka is the term used for power derived from an internal source - namely, spiritual energy within the soul - via melody and hymns. This is a practice mainly passed down amongst humans, who have stable spiritual energy to draw from.
Demons can utilize Musicka, but it is more difficult for them due to their unstable spiritual energy. It often requires many demons or more powerful conduits to achieve the same Musickal outcome as one human could achieve.
Tumblr media
Magicka
Magicka is the term used for power derived from an external source - namely, naturally occurring elements - via incantations. This is a practice passed down amongst demons, whose souls' unstable spiritual energy can mold to the chaos found in the natural world. Channeling this energy in any form gives off a noticeable aura.
Humans can utilize Magicka, but it is more difficult for them since they're less spiritually flexible entities - absorbing Magicka/Magickal auras can have adverse effects on their minds and souls. It often requires many humans or more powerful conduits to achieve the same Magickal outcome as one demon could achieve.
Shifting Soul
As with all laws, there are exceptions. Laws of nature are not necessarily laws as defined by mortals - nature may tend towards certain behaviors, but can just as easily seep out of their boxes and erode new paths. In this sense, there are those whose souls are more malleable to both Magicka and Musicka without prerequisite training. Such people are regarded as naturally-gifted, and historically, societies often placed pressure on them to perform incredible feats with their talents. It is important to reiterate however, that even people possessing average attunement towards magic are capable of similar feats with work invested towards training. The uniqueness of a Shifting Soul is thus moreso a societally-imposed one, than a law of nature.
Tumblr media
Conduits
A conduit is any item or thing used to channel power from raw energy into something usable. Different Tribes typically use different items for their Magicka. The Gerra most often use gemstones or weaponry; the Igo most often use wood or ivory; the Twili most often use flesh and blood; the Massu most often use simple stone; and the humans use musical instruments. The item is inscribed with the spells, songs, and/or runes for whatever effect is desired. The conduit then remains inert until those inscriptions are activated with melody or incantation. A person may use Musicka or Magicka without a conduit, but it is extremely difficult and taxing.
If one wants to increase the power of their Conduit exponentially, they can bind a soul to it. This is a reversible, if not extremely painful process, but due to its ethical issues, the practice is considered archaic and taboo in modern society.

am i the only one who feels like kit is acting real immature?
outside of a handful of obsessed stans, nobody knew the video even existed yet he tweeted about it to his 950,000 followers and put an exponentially larger spotlight on what isn't even that big of a deal
joe has had his privacy invaded too (with the dailymail article), but a lot of people don't even know the article exists because he didn't draw attention to it. he just went about his day like a professional actor
I know larger amount of people are talking about the video right now, but the people who were and still are spreading rumours about him and Maia by sharing the video that was taken without their knowledge that has also led to fans to speculating his sexuality yet AGAIN needed to be called out, he has every right to be mad at fans on hstwt and tiktok, even though not many had seen the video, it's still ridiculous that it was being shared and talked about? If he hadn't reacted at all, it would have gotten worse. Some celebs, especially teens that become famous overnight find it difficult to deal with things like this, they shouldn't have to. It's not like something like this happened to Kit for the first time that you expect him to ignore it, shi like this been going on for months, first they started speculating about his sexuality after heartstopper got released, when he politely asked them to stop and said that he's not a fan of labels, they started accusing him of queerbaiting, and now this, just think about it.

Whilst I am working on some Difficult Business Stuff, I have decided to prioritize babying my emotions, stress management, and self-care rather than getting any words written.
It's a good part of my book to take a break. I've crossed 260,000 words on the manuscript, and my progress has been steadier than at maybe any other point in the draft. I am going into some really emotionally heavy stuff that is complicated to portray as I want. A breather here is good.
My fear of finishing the book is turning toward excitement, because I think that I'm going to have fun editing this book for, say...another year? Ha! I just keep thinking of subplots I want to add and scenes I'd like to execute more dramatically.
Editing in generally gets exponentially harder as a project gets longer, but I've been working on this book for so long that I've done a few editing passes on the earlier parts. The task should be fun more than crushing. (I love editing TBH)
At some point I need to write up the standard short synopsis / long synopsis / general pitch and ask my agent to see if anyone in the agency will co-agent me for fantasy. My agent is a saintly angel. She picked me up for thrillers, though, and she doesn't do fantasy. But chances are good I could at least talk to someone else in her agency about this book's potential in the trad market and decide if I'm just going to self-publish as usual.
Even though it should end around 300,000 words, I would really prefer to publish it as one big honko book that you could use as a weapon of self-defense. And I also need to think about whether that makes any economic sense whatsoever. I can't sell an individual ebook for more than 9.99, period, and I wouldn't sell many copies at that price point; at best I could do 6.99 in this market, which at 70% royalty is like idk I refuse to math right now $4.80? It's gonna take four years to finish this book, all told, and I'd need to make this book work harder for me than that, basically. Series are far easier to market and far more lucrative.
AGH. I just don't WANT people reading it like a series! It's one book! I could keep it that way if I made this book exclusive to Amazon or another subscription program where I'm paid by the length of reads. I am personally morally opposed to this. Also I have a lot of existing readers who use other vendors and they'd be sad. I actually feel more okay with compromising my morals out of practicality than I feel okay with putting my book out of reach of loyal readers.
barf. god. these kinds of capitalist calculations near MY ART BABY are part of the reason I left publishing for so long. Anyway, that's still Later Sara's problem, but Later Sara is drawing nearer. My enormous anxiety around this is exactly why I'm going to step back a bit from writing to work on the anxiety.

Social Media Blog Post #1
After reviewing the article and video assigned for the week, I found myself conflicted about the use of technology. Growing up in the early 2000s this form of addiction/escapism wasn't around. I played with toys and built tree houses, if I wasn't outside I imagined something grand in my room. Now I look back and miss all the small moments that allowed me to express my inner self. Today I look at my younger siblings, who text and game, rarely going outside. I don't blame them, I understand they grew up in a world where this was becoming the norm. I've noticed over the years that my tech use has been going up exponentially, especially since Covid. I think it's time I start better managing my time with social media and online interactions. Though the idea sounds grand and plausible, actually minimizing my tech interaction is going to be difficult, but it's something that must be done. I've already seen some of the core muscle memory functions reacting to a text or Twitter notification, reaching out to grab it only for my phone to not be there, causing a cold chill to run done my back. I see the addictiveness and the change that needs to coincide.
I believe it's important to start limiting my time with social media. I still think it's important to use apps such as Linkedin and Microsoft applications, but other social apps lead to me wasting precious hours I can spend with friends and family or studying for various assignments. Overall, I think that technology is very useful and has changed a lot of lives for the better, but at the same time, it hinders people's ability to be personable and authentic. I think technology affects everyone differently, some people are more addicted to social media than others. If social media is the only thing that brightens your day, it might be time to take a break. You just have to find the happy medium and draw a line in the sand for how much you value social media.

At The Movies
I have many fond memories of going to the local movie theatre when I was a kid. My pals and I would ride our bikes for what seemed an incredible distance (it was only about two miles), lock them up to a street sign, and pay a modest price to enter.
I couldn’t tell you what we saw, but I do know I loved that old theatre. It was like the theatres you could find in nearly every town, even the small ones. They were where people went for entertainment, to see and be seen, to socialize. Marquees and signs were often spectacular, resulting in civic pride.
Sometimes I am amazed to find that towns of only a few thousand supported not just one, but sometimes two or three theatres. Canyon once had two theatres and one drive-in; Tulia—with only about 4500 residents—once had three theatres.
In the century that has elapsed since many of these theatres opened, much has changed. Whereas there was virtually no competition at the time, technology slowly eroded that market position. Radio and television provided people with options, something they could do at home. Later, cable television saw our choices grow exponentially. Stir in VCRs and then DVD players, and suddenly we had less and less reason to venture out to watch a movie.
Tumblr media
Concurrent with increased competition among how we entertained ourselves was the push to the suburbs, which saw sprawling cineplexes with as many as 20 screens being built. All of these combined to tap nails into the coffin of the historic theatre. There have been resurrections in some towns in recent years, usually community-based efforts to restore and save what they have. It takes millions of dollars, though, and even if these success stories result in special event venues instead of functioning movie theatres, it’s still good.
I have become very enamored of historic theatres in recent years, this time photo-documenting them on my travels, and writing about them for magazines as well as on my Insta. It’s a great passion, because tracking them down takes me to many dying cities screaming to be photographed in their entirety, not just the theatre.
Today, the competition continues to increase. Streaming services have made it difficult for the suburban megaplexes to survive. Blockbusters are increasingly few and far between. Direct-to-streaming as well as content created by Netflix, et al., give us many reasons to stay home. Besides, even if there is a blockbuster, we know it will be available via streaming soon enough. Oh, and never mind what COVID did to theatres. They have had a hard time recovering.
Were it not for Barbie and Oppenheimer last summer, it would have been a dismal year for theatres. The much-publicized Taylor Swift tour then led to a concert video for fans not able to see her live, and this too was shown in theatres.
Which leads us to the current problem. “Finally!” the students said. ”He wrote more than 500 words just getting to his point!”
Chains like AMC are having to reinvent themselves, or face extinction. AMC plans to show more concert videos, which they assume—I mean hope—will have the same draw as Taylor Swift’s. It’s an idea worth trying, but they must first convince artists to shoot these in the first place.
But which artists would customers be willing to pay good money to watch a concert video? Taylor Swift, yes. But U2? Rolling Stones? Beyonce? There could be a lot of hits and misses alike.
And then there’s AMC’s effort to pad revenues by upping the viewing experience, as well as to merchandise it. Collectible popcorn buckets that fetch $25 and private-label AMC-branded snacks have helped, but still not nearly enough to erase a $182 million loss last year.
Like some restaurants and retailers, AMC is shuttering under-performing locations, while building new ones in areas it thinks have a better chance of surviving. But when one of those behemoth movie houses is closed, there are few ways to repurpose them. Once upon a time, churches might rent one, much like they did with dead malls. Those days are over, though, with church attendance in steep decline.
Unless AMC and their competitors can truly rise from their own ashes, it’s going to be tough going. There are too many other ways for us to watch a movie. I am perfectly content with my streaming. I have only been to one movie since COVID; I had to see what the Barbie thing was all about, if only to be able to discuss it. But before COVID, I only watched one movie in a theatre for several years prior.
Given the choice, I would definitely go see a movie in a vintage restored theatre, though. I would do it not so much for the film, but for the experience. Those old theatres were magical; cineplexes are about as sterile and saccharine as it gets.
Meanwhile, I continue my pursuit of the old, the long gone, the forlorn. Because I can put myself in that motion picture, a movie in my mind that has no price of admission. It’s a good show.

With the writing shown previously, I was essentially trying to put what I want to do (from a conceptual standpoint) into words. In short, I am interested in this question of how we, as artists/designers, can step away from the idea that no artwork is original. Given the sheer amount of inspiration that exists and is readily available to us, it seems like it has become common knowledge that no work can be original. At the same time, however, attempting to separate ourselves from all forms of external inspiration does not guarantee that original work will be made. To quote myself, even if we "lock ourselves in a dark room with nothing but our own thoughts," we still have past experiences (which can be comprised of inspiration from other artists/designers) to draw from.
I also talk a lot about this cycle of "production and consumption," which basically refers to how integral productivity (always making things) and consuming (always engaging with things and people) has become to living. Because of this cycle, we will always make artwork that is merely a slightly differentiated version of many things that exist. The people of the future will also be limited in this sense, perhaps more so because the amount of content to draw from will only increase exponentially.
In making this project, i then suppose that I am proposing a way of making that acknowledges that we cannot simply "unlearn" or forget our experiences. Given how much production and consumption involve engagement with the basic human senses, I am curious about how we can make things without the senses. This does not necessarily mean impairing ourselves in the literal sense, but IMAGINING the various ways in which we would make if we were impaired.
I'm particularly interested in our sense of sight, as I feel it is the most integral to our practice as artists/designers (we are visual people first and foremost, after all). It also relates to my chosen term, which, to reiterate, refers to a "shadow that is absent of all light." In this sense (no pun intended), I'm curious about what there is to find in complete darkness. Or as I have more often put it in my mind, how we can create something from "nothing."
There's also this essence of darkness as a primordial (existing since the beginning of time) fear, something that we are "naturally" drawn away from. It is almost as if we have also been hard-wired to engage our senses on a constant basis, and avoid scenarios where it would be impossible to do so, such as in complete darkness. Darkness also carries connotations of evil (Satan), silence (a kind of immobility), and uncertainty (of the future); all of which further strengthen the fear overall. This is made further by the inclusion of societal changes and events that cause more uncertainty or make it more difficult to find solitude within all the noise of everyday life.

Precision stamping die is a special tool for batch processing of materials into required stamping parts. It is very important in metalwork and stamping. Generally, mold can be divided into:
(1) Single die: Simple structure, short manufacturing cycle, low cost, but low stamping accuracy and efficiency. It is suitable for metal stamping parts with low precision, simple shape, and small output.
(2) Progressive die: More complex structure, difficult manufacturing and adjustment, high cost, but high stamping accuracy, exponentially improved production efficiency. It is suitable for metal stamping parts with high precision and large output.
Types of Metal Stamping Dies for Sale
Progressive DieProgressive Die
Progressive Die
A progressive die, also known as a continuous die, is a multi-process die. In a mold, progressive stamping tool can complete various processes including punching, bending, and drawing, which can improve production efficiency and reduce product manufacturing costs. Progressive dies are easy to automate and can realize mass production.
more
Single DieSingle Die
Single Die
The single-stage die is a simple structure with low manufacturing costs. Simple press tool is suitable for some stamping parts with low precision requirements and simple shapes. The surface of the parts stamped out by the compound mold is smooth, and the accuracy requirements of the product are guaranteed at the same time.

Advantages of Die & Tool Manufacturing
Additive manufacturing can dramatically shorten the lead time of tooling set-up — some experts claim as much as 90 percent!
Standard stamping dies manufacturing processes assume a considerable factor of waste. Additive manufacturing reduces this loss of material during tooling fabrication because it utilizes a digital layering technique.
There is no arguing that using additive manufacturing in tooling set-up has a hand in increasing the likelihood of receiving a quality end-product.
The Tool and Die Maker will cut, shape, finish, and maintain precision stamping tools made of metal and will forge die casts to create molds.
FAQs About Tool & Die Making
Why Should I Choose Progressive Stamping and Fabrication over Other Methods?
Compared with single die, progressive stamping tool has the characteristic of fast stamping speed and high production efficiency, which can meet the needs of mass production, finally obtain the stamping die parts of high precision, stable quality, good consistency with less material waste.
Do You Make Your Own Tooling?
As a superior metal stamping die manufacturer, Orienson has a strong mold design team, and a set of mold processing equipment such as fast wire cutting, slow wire cutting, milling machine, drilling machine, etc., which can meet the needs from mold design to mold manufacturing and to late maintenance.
How Long Does It Take To Manufacture Custom Stamping Dies?
Under normal circumstances, the mold production time depends on two factors: technical difficulty, customer MOQ.
1. Process difficulty: The more complex the metal stamping die design steps are, the more difficult it is to make the custom stamping dies.
2. The customer minimum order quantity: if the order quantity is large, then the corresponding mold cavity number will be more, and takes longer time to make the mold, which improves the efficiency of producing products, thus reducing the cost of stamping parts.
The mold development and manufacturing capacity of Orienson: We can reach 25 sets of progressive mold or 25 sets of composite mold every month.
What Is Die Manufacturing Process?
Mold is very extensive application in all walks of life, so for the mould manufacturing becomes more concern topic among people, Orienson, as a metal stamping factory, has a wealth of production experience, can produce high precision and long life mould, following simple mould manufacture process may help people have a more detailed understanding towards mould manufacturing.

Friendly web design

Search engine (SE) friendly web design
SE Friendly Web Design or Search Engine Friendly Web Design is one of the essential components to generate traffic to your e-commerce website through search engines. Of course, your website must be attractive to the consumer's eye. But it must also be attractive to the 'eye' of the search engine. Search engines 'read' web pages to find and rank the most relevant ones for each keyword entered by a potential customer. Designing a search engine friendly website is not difficult. Some of the elements you should implement into your design may even seem like common sense. However, you might be surprised to learn how many people don't follow these simple rules and create websites that are difficult for search engines to read.Simple text First of all, the text should be in a simple font. Fancy cursive fonts may look nice, but they are not easy for the eye to scan. Nor are they easy for a search engine to read. This means that the font is basic, the color is simple, and the size is normal. Black, 12 point, Times New Roman, Courier or Arial are preferred. The actual text is not where you want to draw attention. Instead, the theme that the text conveys should be the center of attention. Furthermore, edit your text naturally as you would on a page. Use appropriate paragraphs and bullet points, as well as other devices to break the text into bite-sized pieces. Do not overdo the use of capital letters, bold and exclamation marks. Using as much text as possible (at least 300 words but no more than 900 words). This will help search engines not only find you, but rank you as an expert in the field and place you closer to the top of the list.Avoid unnecessary graphic editing Avoid flashy text and cute graphics at all costs. Make sure each page uses text and specific keywords related to the product. Or the information you use to attract targeted traffic. Text is in focus as far as search engines are concerned. Graphics are for the customer, and each one should sell an aspect of your product and carry meaning. But if your goal is search engine friendly design, think carefully about your text.Correct coding of the page Another thing to avoid in creating a solid SE friendly website design is spam. This can appear on your web page as hidden text in the HTML code. Instead, make sure your HTML code includes meta tags. They're not as big a hook to grab the attention of search engines as they used to be, but they help. And every little bit contributes to a better page ranking!Page layout and navigation Another element of search engine friendly web design, and perhaps the most important, is the layout of your site. Clumsy navigation with blind links on your website not only annoys a potential customer, but also confuses search engines. Confusing the search engines is not the way to improve your rankings, traffic or sales. Use a sitemap if needed and make sure the page hierarchy makes sense. Use a Google sitemap if you have a large website and make sure your navigation tools are concise and specific. No creative misnomers or questionable graphics.Search engine friendly web design elements emphasize simplicity and therefore appear streamlined. Ignoring them will not only turn away customers, but search engines as well. Make your website search engine friendly and watch your traffic increase exponentially. Read the full article

**All The Pennies**
I recently listened to a message from Chuck Swindoll about the creation of the universe. Well, it wasn't about the universe but he does go on for a bit about the chances of creation. He explains about having 10 pennies in your pocket numbered 1-10. He tells of the odds of pulling them out in order first #1 then #2 and further tell us how the odds grow exponentially as you go down the line trying to pull the next numbered copper out, 3 then 4 and so on. He explains that the creation of the earth would be 1000 times more difficult to create in the order the steps need to happen for us to exist.
I found it moving and the very next day I started seeing pennies pop up everywhere. Behind my jewelry box, next to the phone, down at my feet as I walk into a building, etc. All of them usually placed. A week went by before I started noticing them, then collecting them. Pennies are the most abundant monetary value in our country, they are also the least used. I personally throw mine unnumbered into a jar where if they're lucky I may roll them up one day in exchange for a dollar bill or a bank credit. I guess you could say I loosely keep track of them in that way. So the fact that I started seeing them all around has made me pause every single time to consider creation. I thought to myself, once I get to 10 I will number them and keep them in my pocket to remind myself how precious we are. I was up to 5 cents and yesterday while outside taking in the beauty of the end of winter I had a moment of reconsideration about this challenge. Of course I don't need this reminder. Creation reminds me all the time about its purpose and my place in it. Stopping here I thought when I get home I'll put those pennies I set aside with the rest and just move on from this.
I had yet to do that when I sat down this morning and dug into my bible, as I do most mornings. Every now and again I have this "lead me" moment with the Father. I'll pick up my bible, close my eyes and say 'Lord, where do I read'. It's a set aside moment beyond anything else. It's not lead by a devotional, chat or something I heard and want to reinforce it's lead by flipping the pages until he opens the page for me. Side note: once I did this feeling overwhelmed. I prayed "where to begin", we opened up to Gensis 1:1...He certainly has a sense of humor. This morning however it was Hebrews 1:2-3. Which states that the universe was created through the son of God. I have one of those bibles with the little asterisk that will lead you to matching verses. It helps solidify that we are reading truth. Although I don't know how I ended up in the next few verses they were all about Gods majesty and might. (I will post those verses below for you to check out later if you like.) They showed me that God is bigger than the universe. They reminded me not to put him in a jar where only I can access him. He deserves more.
My favorite part about faith and belief in God is how he cements these truths for those how have found the path. I love how the Bible written so completely separate still tells us such an integrated story of what ever "this" is. I don't claim to have even one answer to the why we're here. I only know I have every reason to have faith in this truth.
I finished reading, still having yet to put the pennies on my dresser with jar of nameless ones. Still processing what he's saying to me. I got up and made pancakes for my son. Opening the draw next to the stove to look for some arbitrary thing I found all the pennies. Not only the other 5 pennies for my challenge but in true form he over did it and sent me more than I had been waiting for. This makes me think of so many things. It's hard to share. I think 'change the pennies into people' and think of all the souls lost or looking that are peppered around us. I turn the pennies into 'reminders' of prayer and think of faith and the support of our Father and looking on maybe it's just random change left behind waiting to be spent on something undetermined. But I firmly believe there are no coincidences and maybe they are all of these things combine pending our perspective.
One thing is certain, he speaks to us and with us if we only just take the time to hear his message. Sometimes we just need to be open to the message and he'll show us. Other times we need silence and prayer to center. Either way the stream of love is never ending. I will be numbering these pennies, 1 -11. As a reminder that he is great. He is the creator. He always gives us enough, but usually gives us more than we need.
Hebrews 1:2-3 but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe. The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.
2 Chornicles 2:6 Yet no one can really build a temple for God, because even all the vastness of heaven cannot contain him. How then can I build a temple that would be anything more than a place to burn incense to God?
2 Chronicles6:18 “But can you, O God, really live on earth among men and women? Not even all of heaven is large enough to hold you, so how can this Temple that I have built be large enough?
1Kings 8:27  “But can you, O God, really live on earth? Not even all of heaven is large enough to hold you, so how can this Temple that I have built be large enough?

The Ultimate Guide to Animated Explainer Videos and Why They're so Effective
Animated explainer videos are an excellent way to introduce a product or service. They're much more engaging than regular text-based content and they can help you reach a wider audience.
Animated explainer videos are a popular marketing tool for many businesses because they're able to quickly and easily convey complex messages in a concise manner. Animated explainers also have the ability to entertain viewers while simultaneously educating them about your business, product or service.
The popularity of animated explainer videos has grown exponentially over the past few years, largely due to their effectiveness at driving engagement and conversions. In fact, according to one study by Animoto, animated video ads receive 150% more clicks than static ads do.
Tumblr media
Introduction: What is an Animated Explainer Video?
Animated videos are a powerful tool that can be used to convey complex information in a more engaging way. They are a great way to explain complicated topics and make them more accessible for the audience.
Animated Explainer Videos are short videos that present a product, service or idea through animation. They have been around for many years, but their popularity has increased dramatically in recent years as they have become more affordable and easier to produce.
There are many benefits of using Animated Explainer Videos. One of them is that they work well for explaining complex topics as they can make everything seem simpler and easier to understand at first glance. Another benefit is that Animated Explainer Videos can make your business seem more trustworthy and professional by giving it an edge over competitors who don't use this technique.
What are the Different Types of Animated Explainer Videos?
Animated explainer videos are a powerful tool for marketing. They help to establish credibility and build trust with the viewer.
There are three different types of animated explainer videos: whiteboard, motion graphics, and live-action. Whiteboard animations use a hand drawing pictures on a whiteboard to illustrate the concept or idea being explained. Motion graphics is an animation that uses computer generated graphics to create more realistic movements than in whiteboard animations. Know All The Need of Website
Many people spend the majority of their time online. This could be for a number of reasons, including purchasing a product, using a service, reading a blog, enjoying themselves, and so on.
Businesses have gone online as well, given the amount of time individuals spend on the internet. For business owners of any size, having a website and a social media presence has become vital. If you own a small business, you may believe that you don't need a website. However, with so much competition, you'll need a strong internet presence. Understanding the value of a website is important to expand your business exponentially.
In this blog, you will get explanations for the significance of a website through the points below-
Visibility- Based on the sort of physical store, visibility will be limited within a certain radius. When it comes to a company that has an internet presence, however, the visibility and reach are limitless.
Every company wants to grow its consumer base in a variety of ways. As a result, if your website is displayed on Google, you can draw a lot more audience. Your website can easily rank high in search engine results if it is well-optimized. You'd gain a new customer base this way.
Customer Assistance- One of the most significant benefits of creating a website is that it can be accessed by anybody, at any time. Customers can view your website and use your services or obtain information even while your business is closed.
Customer service is a difficult task for any company. Providing customer help online, on the other hand, is easier and less expensive than paying support staff. It can be done by using a chatbot and providing an FAQ.
Professionalism- The majority of people nowadays believe that a company with a website is far more trustworthy. A website may be the ideal location for displaying your company's awards.
Aside from that, you'll have the opportunity to display all of your professional certifications. The best aspect is that if you have a website, you can utilise a branded email address. You will appear quite professional to your prospects in this manner.
Give Authentication- Websites are an important platform for organizations to promote their authority and gain customer trust. Customers nowadays expect companies to have an online presence or a website. This is an important first step in building trust.
To take it a step further, clients are more likely to trust a company and use their services if their website has superior features and navigation. Local SEO services can therefore be used to target a local consumer for businesses that are relatively new to the market.
Economical- Creating a website is not only simple, but also reasonably inexpensive. If you use a non-technical, do-it-yourself strategy. With content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Shopify, or Wix, anyone can easily create a website with little or no assistance. Only if you're creating a large website, such as an e-commerce site or one with thousands of pages, or if you're using complicated filters and facets, should you seek professional assistance. However, as compared to the cost of opening a physical store, the cost may be negligible.
Well Designed Website- Nowadays you can create and manage without having a knowledge of coding with the help of CMS, like WordPress. You can also hire a web development company if your budget allows. A proper web design is important because visitors to a website have no reason to linger on any page unless they are enticed to do so. Visitors are easily bored and want something different to grab their interest anytime they visit a website. As a result, it is critical that businesses develop their websites with impeccable style and architecture in order to provide clients with excellent functionality and easy navigation. This will encourage more people to look at your website and possibly buy anything from you.
Brand Image- A company that does not have a website misses out on several chances that can be found online. Aside from these key advantages, a website can assist in a variety of different ways. You can, for example, save a lot of time by answering typical questions. If you want your company to have a large presence online, you must invest in a solid website that will assure your long-term success.
A map or instructions to locations or offices can be found on your website. If someone wants to learn more about a company at their leisure, a website can assist them because it is available at all times. A well-designed and attractive website can help to improve a brand image.
Conclusion-
A website can serve as a brochure for a business. This can be valuable for businesses because the website can serve as a reference for possible investors, allowing them to learn about your services, what you have accomplished thus far, and what your business plans are for the future.
As a result, having a website should be a top priority if you want your business to succeed. This would be a fantastic way for your company to expand without spending a lot of money.

Breakups are so much more intense for neurodivergent people. There is no closure possible because we cannot draw conclusions as to what went wrong, when things went wrong, why it happened, or even conclude that it might have been bad for us at all. This is especially the case for neurodivergent people who have to deal with childhood trauma, because it lingers into adulthood and ruins relationships, and we just can’t control it. Dating a neurotypical person as a neurodivergent person could be difficult because we asssume our partners think lesser of us because of our issues. I keep hearing that neurodivergent people should date other neurodivergent people, but I don’t think this is good either, because the difficulty of communication is now exponentially higher. Each partner could end up misunderstanding the other due to their own issues and then not realize they’re causing harm. It’s an impossible line to walk without both partners being able to communicate, and if one refuses, then it just falls apart and ruins the life of the other as they try to grasp for any air they can as they’re tossed aside to drown in their emotions and disorder.
