Went to a history museum today and got jumpscared in the ancient civs exhibit when suddenly music started playing over the loudspeakers and it was the fucking. Seikilos epitaph. While I was still in the Egypt section. Now I have taught classes on this piece, but the Egyptian stuff puts it so out of context that I don't know *why* I know it.

So I'm looking around like I've seen a ghost, having flashbacks to my master's music history test and also lesson planning for my own music courses, before I finally round the corner and hit Greece.
