Yandere Riddle Rosehearts x Little Brother Reader headcanons/short story(?)

Oh boy, am I nervous about this. I love TWST and I really hope that I do these characters justice. Okay, I wrote this and there needs to be a bunch of different warnings I realized. If I miss a warning that you think is important, please inform me. P.S. This is platonic and also I have a completely different idea for an older brother of Riddle's.

Warnings: Obsession, abuse, mild force age regress (Maybe? Not certain), gaslighting, overall not good things.

Riddle Rosehearts

As we all know, Riddle's childhood was rough growing up because of his mother.

He is her legacy walking.

But what does that make the second offspring?

A little more than servant to the first one.

Your mother engraved into you since birth to obey every word that your older brother says.

She forced heavier training regimens onto you instead of studying. Saying "You don't need to learn. Your brain is of no use to Riddle."

Because you both were very young, none of you understood that what she was doing was wrong.

You were only three years younger than Riddle but you already have more strength and endurance than him.

(By the way, you're shorter than him.)

But that doesn't mean that you were useless in magic either.

Your unique magic, "By Order of the King", creates a rosebush on the back of whoever disobeys Riddle's words. The rosebush reacts to Riddle's mood, if he's happy, roses bloom but if he's upset, thorns start growing. The only way to get the rosebush off is if Riddle forgives the troublemaker.

When Riddle met Trey and Chenya, that's when he started to realize that your mother's treatment of both of you was unnecessarily cruel.

He tried in his daily life to get you to be your own person but your mother made that nearly impossible, threatening your safety if you dare when against her orders.

When it was time for Riddle to go to NRC, your mother made you go along with him to make sure that he would be safe.

Dire Crowley welcomed both of you with open arms (Probably to get on your mother's good side) and for the first year, everything went decently fine.

Riddle quickly became the dorm leader and enforced the Queen's rules onto the rest of the dorm. He also made you basically a soldier to carry out his every whim. The power seemed to have gone to his head a little. His unique magic took care of most of the troublemakers but every once in a while, you were called on to use yours.

The dorm was terrified of disobeying Riddle too much and end up facing your wrath.

Then the second year rolled around and everything became different.

With a certain ginger, bluenette and a magicless prefect, the dorm was thrown into mild chaos.

Riddle was collaring people left, right and center, terrifying even you.

Then he overblotted.

"You fools! I'm always right!"

"You can't force people to just follow your dumb rules!"

"Yeah, dorm leader! Can't you see that your expectations are too high for anyone to reach?!"

"Why you-!"

Riddle was getting madder and madder to the point that I was starting to become scared of him hurting himself more. I quickly decided what was my best course of action.

"By Order of the King!"

I sent By Order of the King to the creature behind Riddle, effectively stopping it from attacking anybody. Sadly, this also got Riddle's attention.

"(Y/N)! You dare go against your Queen?!"

I only nodded my head, getting ready to fight. I never wanted to hurt my older brother but it seems that might be the only way to get him to snap out of this.

Riddle then lunged towards me and we got into a bit of a tangled position. His dress had thorns which were digging into my skin wherever they could. I got a few good hits on him but I overestimated how much the overblot would also improve his physical strength as well. It also didn't help that the ink that coated him was trying to take control of my limbs as well.

"If you're so willing to go against your Queen, then it's Off with Your Head!"

I felt his collar go around my throat, cutting off my oxygen, ruining my focus and overall, making this fight harder. While I was trying to regain my focus, I felt my head being lifted off the ground before slammed repeatedly onto the ground. The last thing that I truly remember was Riddle's cackling before losing my consciousness.

The next thing I knew was that I was in the infirmary with Riddle crying by my side and bandages wrapped all over my head.

Riddle then grabbed you into a hug, being wary of the injuries that he caused you, and promised to be a better big brother. Something sounded wrong in his tone but you decided to brush it off.

It took close to a month for you to heal completely but when you were allowed back to the dorms, Riddle was completely different.

"(Y/N)? Where are you going?"

I turned my head towards my brother.

"I'm just going to do my daily tasks for the dorm."

Riddle then walked up to me and ushered me into a hug.

"You're too young to be doing chores for the dorm. Let's just go outside and play around for a bit."

"Sorry, Riddle but I've got to do my part as well."

Riddle's face became colder while he glared down at me. I've never seen him this angry at me.

"(Y/N). That wasn't a suggestion. It was an order. You're going to stop acting like this and act your age."

Riddle then grabbed my uninjured arm before dragging me back to our shared room. He forced me to sit on the bed before grabbing me into a cuddle. I felt my body stiffen and freeze into place. I'm not used to this type of attention before.

"You, like me, have been denied familial love. I wasn't strong enough to protect you from that witch when you were younger, but now, I'm going to change all of that."

That's when your life was turned upside down once again.

When Riddle first realized that you shouldn't be ordered around, he didn't do it as much. But now, he does it all the time, knowing that you'll follow whether you want to or not.

Riddle refused for you to do anything that was considered "Too grown up" to him. Which meant anything that wasn't breathing, standing, walking, and sleeping.

He hand fed you, helped you change, and many other embarrassing things.

"You're my baby brother. That means that I have to help you with everything."

That's always Riddle's reasoning either against you or against anybody at the dorm who would try to help plead your case. The only difference between you asking and someone was the fact that if it was someone else, they would lose their head for the next three days.

Riddle was slowly starting to become more and more suffocating. He forbade you from talking to anybody in a different dorm and started limiting people in his own dorm.

Heck, Trey was now on thin ice with Riddle.

"What exactly are you doing here, Trey?"

"Umm, you asked me to serve you and your brother for this tea party?"

"Right. Apologies."

Eventually, the new suffocating nature that Riddle adapted became too much for you but you couldn't leave Riddle's side. Your mother's conditioning wouldn't allow you to.

"Why are you frowning, (Y/N)? You shouldn't be this upset."

"I'm sorry, Riddle. I'll try to be in a better mood."

"No, I want to know why you feel the need to throw a tantrum. I understand that it's natural for boys your age but you must let me know why you're upset, to fix it."

"Well, I don't like how you've become controlling."

"Brother, do you really think that I'm controlling? Look between me and our mother. I'm only trying to liberate you."

"By treating me as if I'm an infant?"

"You are not being treated as an infant."

"Yes, I am. You won't let me do anything for myself!"

"I'm trying to give you a childhood! If you think that you're being treated as an infant, then I'll treat you as if you're an infant!"

Riddle stuck true to his words.

He shrunk you down with his magic and started treating you as if you were only two years old.

Riddle was very close to raising you like how your mother raised you but thankfully, Trey was there to sway him from certain methods.

It took three whole weeks to convince Riddle to let you be your original height again and have small freedoms again.

"See, (Y/N)? Isn't this life much better? Are you still feeling like you're being treated like an infant?"

Yes, I thought bitterly to myself but I held my tongue.

"No. Thank you for giving me the freedom to be a child, Riddle."

"You're welcome, (Y/N). Now, how about we go and give you a bath? You've been playing outside and got mud all over you."

"Yes, Riddle."

Aren’t they adorable? 🥺 They seem to have a big bond with wafflebots (creatures that are roaming in the Vanilla Kingdom). Plus, they are pretty bossy and grumpy, a little bratty and would call other cookies “weak” because of their cookie fragile, crispy form hhhh- 😅

A/N: Riddle is always so weird for me to write because I do see him as baby but the moment things get romantic I can so see him as the type that just...is more than ready to explore the romantic territory with you? Like yes he is baby but he would be so gentle with the smooches... But I digress.  I am making my way through requests, currently have five in my inbox so I might close it up once it reaches ten. Just to get the ball rolling since I am a baby blog u wu.  Warnings: None! Just tooth rotting fluff!  Straight from the cookbook section of our bountiful library, @lunalasolaris​!

Let me get that book for you! 

“Hey Riddle?” 

“Hm?” 

“What does a pinch mean?” 

Grey eyes look up from the cup of flour he was meticulously trying to measure as you hold up the recipe book in front of him. 

“Does it mean that we just put a little bit of the salt into the cake?” you point at the specific line, tapping it twice to emphasize your point, “Or we grab a pinch with our fingers and just...toss it in there?Cause I can grab a lot of salt in between my fingers if I need to.” 

Riddle frowns as he tries to remember how Trey used to bake some of his previous Unbirthday cakes. It was easy to break down his process but with how quickly he moved the Heartslabyul dorm leader found himself at a loss of what a pinch looked like. Of all the executive decisions he had to make, why was this one so difficult? 

He locked eyes with you, blushing when he saw how close you had gotten before pulling away and dumps the cup of flour into the small mixing bowl. 

"We don't want them to taste salty so we'll put only a small amount. What comes next?" 

"Eggs...three I think. Oh and we need to add them to the dry mix while it is being sifted." you grab the eggs and scoot closer to him as Riddle grabs the sifter, turning around to see you so close once again. 

You hold up the eggs and smile. 

"Ready?" 

It was nerve wracking being here with you. Not just nerve wracking, it was also stress inducing and blood pumping to have you so close after Riddle had come to a definitive conclusion about his feelings about you. It had come at a cost of many sleepless nights and the certain teasings of some of his oldest friends but once Trey sat him down and asked him how he truly felt about you, the words slipped so easily out of his mouth that even he was surprised at the lack of thought in them. 

Riddle likes you. Alot. 

It was the way you talked with him during Unbirthday parties, unbothered by rules and manners as you plopped yourself down next to him and spoke about whatever you had going on that day. Riddle thought that it sort of reminded him of Chenya, his friend always appearing out of nowhere with a similar grin yet his was always filled with mischief while yours was nothing more than a way for you to show how happy you were to see him. 

Or at least he hoped that was the case. 

You smiled at everyone. At Ace and Deuce whenever they did something silly, at Cater whenever he pointed his camera at you, even at Trey whe he would lean down and offer you one of the many pastries he had baked that day. But, and it might just be his own subconscious silently hoping for this, Riddle believed the smile that you had for him was special. The moment your eyes landed on him it was like watching a rose bloom. Those cheeks of yours would turn a soft shade of red as you approached him and pulled him into whatever activity you found yourself doing. 

Maybe that is how he had been roped into this situation with you. He had only dropped by Ramshackle to drop off something you had left in Ace and Deuce’s room but he knew that the moment you tugged on his wrist and pulled him inside, he was more than willing to do whatever it is that you were doing before he showed up. 

That activity being something you two weren’t particularly good at...baking. 

Riddle finally answered your question with a nod, having already dumped the contents into the silver sifter and grabbing onto the small handle. “I’ll start then.”

It had all turned out a mess. Your hands either tended to crack the eggs too softly that they wouldn't crack on the first try or they would be too harsh and immediately break the egg on impact, leaving both of you to fish out the remnants of the shells before Riddle went right back to sifting. Then came the mixing of the ingredients, Ramshackle not necessarily having the fanciest of gadgets you two instead had to mix everything by hand. It was a bit of a chance for him to show himself off for you but the moment he hissed at his muscles cramping up, you took the bowl from him and poked his cheek. “Chill out, dorm leader Rosehearts, I’ll take it from here~” 

How odd. Riddle was used to people calling him by his official title but in your cause it was almost alarming how much he liked it. 

A few more mishaps, staring at the cookbook and one call to Trey and soon you two were on the floor with a bowl of strawberries in between you as the cake baked in Ramshackle’s tiny oven. “Thank you for going along with this.” you munch on the end of a strawberry before continuing, “I was panicking when I first started so it was a heaven sent when you came along.” 

His heart skips a beat as Riddle clears his throat. 

“This is just what a dorm leader should do for another. I’m merely completing my duties.” 

You pout for a moment but grin as you scoot closer to him, “So if I wasn’t a dorm leader I would just be another face in the crowd?” It is like a shock of electricity shoots straight up his back, straightening him out as he corrects you. 

“No! You are still a student here...and someone who has attended many Unbirthdays and tea parties in Heartslabyul! I’m sure that if it wasn’t for that mishap in the dorm selection ceremony, you would have certainly been picked to be in Heartslabyul! To me you are not just someone in the crowd! You are--” He barely registers how close he had gotten, the bowl of strawberries pushed out of the way as you both stare into each other’s eyes. You hadn’t moved back. Your gaze was holding on strong to his as the hum of the oven became the only sound in the room. 

Hands so close, fingertips almost touching. “Riddle--I--I like--”

A ding interrupted your words, the little invisible bubble you and Riddle had created suddenly popping as you stood up and grabbed the oven mitts. 

You grin as you put the small container on the counter, Riddle cutting into the sides with a dull knife in order to unstick it from the pan. How wonderful was it when things came together that when you both watched the warm baked good slide out of its silvery confine you let out a sigh of relief and started to decorate.

“We almost ate half of the strawberries.” Riddle frowns as you grab the bowl from the floor. “I didn’t hear you complaining when I put them down! You are just as guilty as I if Trey doesn’t like the finished product.” 

He stops cutting the fruit into smaller pieces as he watches you spread the whipped cream along the sides of the cake. “...you...are you giving this to Trey?” 

Why was he so nervous? Trey liked to test everybody’s baking skills if they seem to have any or he just liked to tease those who couldn’t cook by teaching them how to figure it out all on their own. Besides, Trey was a third year and needed to concentrate on his future internship and not be issuing challenges to first years--!

“Yeah? He said that tomorrow’s tea party was going to be a ‘bring your own’ kind of thing?” you scoop a dollop of whipped cream on your finger and lick it off, further distracting Riddle. “Tea party…” 

“Yeah...he said you were having one tomorrow. Did you cancel it?” you give him a surprised look, “Have we been struggling with this baking stuff for nothing?” 

No. Riddle knew every single tea party that would be having throughout the academic year. And yes, they were having one tomorrow. There was one detail that didn’t sit quite right with him, however. 

Never in the history of the Heartslabyul dormitory had there been a ‘potluck’ tea party. 

Either those good at baking made the pastries for that day’s tea party or they would not be any tea party at all. 

Great Seven’s knew what would happen if any first years, Ace and Deuce specifically, tried to cook in the Heartslabyul kitchen. There probably wouldn’t be a kitchen anymore. 

Yet Trey had gone out of his way to trick you into baking a cake while also telling Riddle that you had left something behind in the first year’s room and that it was his duty to give it back--had he planned all of this from the sidelines and expected it to work?! 

“...no there is a tea party happening. I guess I just--Trey must have not told me about that certain detail.” 

“Well at least we have something to bring now!” 

You both look at your cake, the cutting of the strawberries a little sloppy as they somewhat slipped on the rushed icing job you had done. 

“...you know I don’t think anyone will notice if I do this.” 

Riddle’s eyes widen when you grab a spoon and dig into the top of the cake. “Hey--!” 

The spoon presses to his lips as you grin while holding it up to him. “Say ‘ah’” 

Was Crowley sure that you didn’t have any sort of magic? With the way he quickly opened his mouth Riddle would have thought he had been hypnotized. “So?” 

He nods at the taste, smiling when he notices the soft sweetness that came with a good slice of strawberry shortcake. “I--I think we did a really good job.” 

You grin and stand on the heel of your feet as Riddle licked his lips to get any extra whipped cream, eyes going right back to staring at you as you tug on his bowtie and bring him closer. “You got some right...here.” 

The pressure of your hold is light as your lips meet his, his body suddenly going lax as he drops his hold on the knife he had been using before so he could turn his body to meet yours. His hold is immediate, a hand touching your lower back and pressing you a tad closer to him as you both pull back to gauge each other’s reaction.

You are both red as roses, cheeks flushing and hearts beating so fast you were sure you could hear each other’s matching rhythms. 

“...did I get it?” 

He should be pushing you away and apologizing for such a needy display. Riddle hadn’t necessarily spent his time doing anything else besides studying and trying to bring pride to Heartslabyul dorm so this territory was rather new to him. 

“Try again...please.” 

Your lips met his again, this time his hold pulling you into the kiss as you cup his face and let him press your back against the kitchen counter. 

His second year was still starting, why not explore this path a bit more?

🥀Background🥀

Sidonie was born into a family of powerful mages that can trace their background back several centuries. Their primary skill is in shape shifting and among her descendants is a woman known as the Rose Witch. While not as revered as the members of the Great Seven, the Rose Witch is well known for being the origin of a famous Shaftlands legend. It is said that the Rose Witch, disguised as a beggar woman, offered a rose to a cruel prince in return for shelter from a stormy winter night. The prince coldly turned her away and so she revealed her true form and used the rose to cast a powerful curse on the prince. The Rose Witch’s story has been told countless times over generations and even inspired a highly acclaimed film in which Vil’s father played the prince that she cursed. 

Sidonie’s family takes great pride in their connection to the Rose Witch and Sidonie in particular dreams to one day be as powerful and magically skilled as she. In the present day, Sidonie’s grandparents run a flower shop in the Queendom of Roses and are famous for their roses that bloom and remain beautiful long past the time a rose would normally wilt. Magical rose cultivation is yet another part of the Rose Witch’s heritage and it is from her that Sidonie inherited this magic. It is a magic that has also been inherited by her sisters and they grew up helping their family run the flower shop.

As a child, Sidonie’s closest friends were Trey, Chenya and, for a very brief time, Riddle and Farron. Of these four, she grew the closest to Trey because he would often visit her grandparents' flower shop (which was right across the street from his family’s bakery) and their younger sisters were also schoolmates and friends. They first met when Trey came into the flower shop hoping to buy some flowers for his sick mother. Sidonie was briefly left alone and decided to give Trey a half dozen roses for free, adding another to the bouquet as a gift from her to him. They briefly drifted apart in middle school but rekindled their friendship once Sidonie entered NRC. 

Like Danica, Sidonie was initially disappointed with her dorm placement, wishing to be sorted into Heartslabyul. Along with her desire to be in the same dorm as her old friend, Sidonie’s grandmother is an NRC alumni and was sorted in Heartslabyul as well. In fact, when Trey heard that Sidonie had been accepted into NRC, he gifted her a beautiful rose brooch to celebrate (prematurely) her acceptance into Heartslabyul. Unfortunately, fate had other plans and when Sidonie approached the mirror at her orientation ceremony, the mirror determined her soul to be suited for Pomefiore. 

For a while, Sidonie felt very out of place in her dorm and did not get along well with her dorm leader at first. Her unwillingness to use cosmetics did not go over well with him and she considered most of her upperclassmen superficial and pretentious. Many of the stories she has heard about the Rose Witch have painted Sidonie’s perception of people who pursued beauty or had wealth, assuming that those who did had ugly souls. She began to take pride in being not like the other Pomefiore students and the fact that she supposedly valued inner beauty above all other forms. Ironically not realizing that such pride was another one of the prince’s vices. 

However, Sidonie wasn’t completely alone in Pomefiore. Among the other freshmen who entered Pomefiore with her was Farron, another childhood friend. Soon she also caught Rook’s attention, who took her under his wing and they became fast friends. In time and through his friendship, Sidonie slowly grew to appreciate Pomefiore and came to realize that many of it’s students were as beautiful on the inside as they were on the outside. Though she still occasionally clashed with Vil, they eventually developed a begrudging respect for each other as well. 

Throughout her second year, Sidonie has adjusted well into life at NRC and has come to find her place in Pomefiore. She becomes a mentor to Danica and helps her also adjust to life in the dorm. They become close friends and Sidonie takes to trying to protect Danica from the more insidious happenings of their school.

🥀Appearance🥀

Sidonie is a very attractive young woman, though her beauty is quite unorthodox within her dorm. Besides lip balm, unless she’s wearing her ceremonial robes, Sidonie uses absolutely NO makeup or cosmetics. But her refusal to use beauty products seems to only heighten her ethereal grace that many claim is the result of her benevolent heart. 

She has long natural chestnut colored curls and bright emerald colored eyes. She has a very soft “peaches and cream” complexion and a beauty mark right above her right eye. At 175CM, she’s little on the taller side (and appears taller because of the heeled shoes she wears) and has an elegant shapely figure. 

Sidonie wears her school uniform with an open blazer and her necktie tied in a bow. On her tie she wears a little rose brooch that was a gift from Trey, celebrating her acceptance to NRC and the premature assumption she’d be sorted in Heartslabyul with him. She also wears pantyhose and black pumps that add 7CM to her height.

🥀Personality🥀

At first glance, Sidonie is a good-natured young lady who is always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. She is one of the most competent amongst the sophomores in her dorm and is often given tasks that neither Vil nor Rook can find time for. She is well-liked and respected by many of her classmates. However, though often polite, Sidonie is also not afraid to speak her mind and is the only underclassman in her dorm willing to answer back to Vil when she feels it’s needed. 

But while Sidonie tries to be a good person, she is not without her faults. She has a mysterious air to her and tends to be very secretive. She can also come off as a tad judgmental since she has pretty rigid standards on morality, especially in regards to beauty. Also, surprisingly enough, Sidonie can also be prone to fits of jealousy, especially towards girls she feels are getting too close to Trey (especially Vidaria).

As mentioned, a life hearing the stories about the Rose Witch has greatly painted Sidonie’s worldview and she is sometimes guilty of making sweeping generalizations about people based on a few details. She’s particularly guilty of this in regards to her relationship to Vil and while they are on better terms now, in her first months in NRC, she absolutely hated him and soon developed the ambition to one day replace him. She still desires to be Pomefiore’s dorm leader but she understands now how hard Vil works for their dorm and knows that her chance to rise to the top will come in time. Her sweet face belies burning ambitions and intense passions.

Sidonie’s unique magic is called Harbinger of Truth. If anyone touches one of her especially blessed roses, it allows her to look into a person’s soul and, if she wills it, turn them into physical manifestations of their souls.

🥀Other Skills/Talents🥀

🥀Music ~ Sidonie is very musically skilled and often duets with Farron when he’s playing piano in the Pomefiore lounge. 

🥀Gardening/Botanic Magic ~ One thing she enjoys is tending to the gardens surrounding the Pomefiore castle. Though 90% of the plants are poisonous, she’s carved away a small corner reserved only for her roses. 

🥀Potion Crafting ~ Since learning the requirements to become Pomefiore’s dorm leader, Sidonie has worked tirelessly on improving her potionology. It’s her primary focus with her science club activities.

🥀Art ~ Sidonie loves painting, especially with watercolors. It’s a hobby that Rook turned her onto while helping her with an art project in her freshman year.

🥀Trivia/Lore🥀

Sidonie’s name means “captivating” in Hebrew. 

Rook’s second nickname for her is “Mon Sauveur” due to her picking up the slack at the times he can’t fulfill his role as vice dorm leader. 

Although she isn’t a big fan of milk chocolate or sweet candies, she really likes dark chocolate and more “refined” tasting desserts like mont blanc, matcha cake, and her favorite, crepes suzette. 

She spent her first birthday at NRC learning how to make matcha cake with Trey.

Rook is embarrassingly obvious about shipping her and Trey with each other, but at the same time, also ships the hell out of her and Danica.

🥀In Canon Adventures🥀

🥀Prologue ~ Sidonie was placed in charge of the welcome reception for the Pomefiore freshman along with Farron and other sophomores. She also spent a good amount of time after the orientation stalling for Rook as he went to retrieve Danica from Scarabia. For more details about Sidonie’s prologue adventures, read here. 

🥀Book  1 ~ Because of their close relationship, Sidonie was the only person Trey confided in about what was happening at Heartslabyul. She was far more kind understanding about his inner turmoil than Ace and tried to advise Trey about how to talk to Riddle about his poor behavior. But by that point Riddle was too far gone and in the aftermath of his overblot and Trey’s guilt on the matter, Sidonie was the latter's greatest support. It should be noted that while Sidonie frequently brings Danica to Heartslabyul when she goes to collect roses, she made a point of keeping her kouhai away from that dorm (and from Riddle) during this period. 

🥀Book 2 ~ In the previous year, Sidonie played in the interdorm spelldive tournament and through her efforts, Pomefiore cleared second place after Diasomnia. She had plans to play again but sadly, she was targeted by Ruggie and fell down a flight of stairs. Her incident was so bad that she was bedridden for several days and couldn’t walk, meaning she missed the tournament and was not made aware of Leona’s overblot. All she knows is Pomefiore came in fourth place this time.

🥀Book 3 ~ Sidonie knew better than to get involved with Azul or his schemes but ended up becoming involved after all albeit indirectly. After the Tweels approached Danica, Sidonie immediately advised her against making a deal with Azul despite Danica’s desire to/desperation to pass her exams. Sidonie ended up going directly to Azul and all but ordered him to stay away from Danica, using Vil’s fondness for her and threatening potential conflict between the dorms if Vil found out. To her surprise, Azul agreed and the Tweels left Danica alone but still tried to tempt Epel and other Pomefiore students. But thanks to her, Rook’s and Farron’s efforts, they managed to convince most of the Pomefiore freshman to stay away from Octavinelle. Sidonie passes all of her exams with flying colors and is unaware of Azul’s overblot.

🥀Book 4 ~ Sidonie returns to the Queendom of Roses for winter break and spends time with both Farron and Trey. During Book 5, she heard mentions of what happened at Scarabia from Taima and Iman but as of now is not fully aware of all that happened. For more about her Book 4 adventures, read here.

🥀Book 5 ~ Vil initially selects Sidonie to take part in the VDC on Danica’s team because of her vocal talent and the calming influence she had on Danica. Unfortunately she clashes with Iman and Vidaria (particularly the latter) and takes issues with some of Vil’s actions. She eventually leaves the team and helps out with the science club cafe during the festival. Sidonie is not aware of Vil’s overblot but she DOES know why NRC Tribe lost the VDC because Danica raged about it in a Pomefiore group chat that they’re both a part of. 🥀 Book 6 ~ During the crisis with STYX, Rook temporarily places Sidonie in charge of Pomefiore as he goes off to search for Vil. For more about Sidonie’s book 6 adventures, read here.

🥀Other ~ During the Endless Halloween Night event, Sidonie teamed up with Rook, Trey and Sebek to help retrieve the students kidnapped by ghosts.

🥀Relationships As Of Book 5🥀

A ~ Trey and Sidonie were friends before entering NRC, since they were children. They’re both mutually pinning for each other and are clearly more than friends but far less than a couple. Who knows when either one of them will make a move, maybe they’ll figure it out by graduation…

B ~ Sidonie has always been wary of Azul and in Book 3, manages to keep Danica for getting caught up in his plot. 

C ~ She and Vil have a very complicated relationship that is pretty civil on the surface but extremely contentious underneath. Sidonie has no issue speaking back to him and while he respects that, he can find it annoying at times. She’s especially vocal when she feels Vil is pushing Epel and Danica too hard, especially the latter. There is also the underlying implication that she has designs to become dorm leader herself and her devotion to honing her potions is her way of preparation to dethrone him. Though for now, they remain civil to each other, amiable even at times, but Vil is all too aware of the ambitions that hide behind her gentle demeanor. It can also be implied that his personal interest in Danica is as much about making sure she doesn’t get too close to Sidonie as it is his desire to be closer to her himself. 

D ~ By contrast, Sidonie’s relationship with Rook is very amiable and warm. They’re in the same club with Trey and the three make a very odd but very fun trio. She gets a little annoyed with him at times when his antics occasionally embarrass Vil and the dorm and when he teases her about her mutual crush on Trey but otherwise they have a good relationship. Unfortunately, it does take a slight hit in Book 5 when Rook breaks Danica’s heart and when in Book 6 Rook abandons Pomefiore to search for Vil, forcing Sidonie to temporarily become dorm leader. The aftermath slightly strains their friendship but they are able to mend fences quickly and when Vil decides to replace Rook in favor of Sidonie, Rook convinces Sidonie to take the position with his blessing. 

🥀Sidonie’s Relationships With My Other TWST OCS🥀

A ~ As of this moment (2/8/23), Sinclair does not yet have a bio but I will remedy that soon. All that needs to be known now is that he and Sidonie have a rather complex relationship that is two parts awkward amiability and five parts sexual tension. Sidonie certainly finds him interesting/attractive but because of his past actions and her more genuine feelings for Trey, she’s wary of getting to know him on a closer level. Sinclair on the other hand has slowly been trying to get closer to Sidonie as part of a larger scheme of revenge against Riddle and Trey. Weather or not he’s interested in Sidonie on a deeper level is currently unknown but he frequently suggests to her that he and her are not as different as she might think. 

B ~ Sidonie meets Danica on orientation night after the Pomefiore welcome reception. She finds her sulking alone in the garden and offers her a single rose as a token of friendship. Rook arranges for Sidonie to be Danica’s mentor but in truth, they are practically the best of friends. She’s slightly wary of when Danica begins developing feelings for Vil but otherwise she does her best to protect her kouhai and supports her as best as she can. 

C ~ Another one of her besties. Farron and Sidonie were childhood friends and attended the same kindergarten before Farron was sent to an all boys primary school and Sidonie to an all girls school. They’re quick to rekindle their friendship at NRC and in their second year, take Danica under their wing. Farron really admires Sidonie’s natural beauty and Sidonie loves the outfits Farron designs. He’s currently working on designing and creating a gown “befitting her ethereal grace”. 

D ~ The only one at NRC that Sidonie outright hates is Vidaria but the feeling is very mutual. They both envy each other for different reasons and have a very strong rivalry that for a long time was one-sided on Sidonie’s part. For more about the feud between them, read here.

✨ Main Story Overviews - Prologue & Episode 1 ✨

These are not in-depth summaries !! But there’s a lot of chapters in the main story and sometimes I want to quickly refer back to one but can’t remember which one is which 😂 so these are like, brief overviews of each one. I thought I’d share too!!

Prologue

Part 00 Crowley’s opening monologue at the mirror.

Part 01 Yuu wakes up to Grim trying to steal their robes; meets Crowley.

Part 02 (Rhythm) The sorting ceremony; Grim tries to prove his strength so he can enroll too.

Part 03 Grim runs away somewhere & Crowley ends the ceremony.

Part 04 Crowley tries looking for Yuu’s homeland in the library to no avail; he decides to let them stay.

Part 05 (Rhythm) They visit the Ramshackle Dorm for the first time, and realize it has ghosts.

Part 06 (Rhythm) Crowley brings Yuu and Grim dinner; he’s impressed that they warded off the ghosts, and asks them to show him how they did it by fighting him.

Part 07 Crowley dubs Yuu & Grim the school choredoers.

Part 08 (Ghost Battle) Yuu & Grim’s first morning as choredoers; Crowley asks them to clean Main Street.

Part 09 They meet Ace who gives them a crash course about the Great Seven.

Part 10 (Ace Battle) Ace starts making rude & mocking comments about them; Grim starts fighting with him & accidentally burns one of the statues; Crowley punishes them by saying all 3 of them have to clean 100 windows.

Part 11 Yuu and Grim wait for Ace to show up for the punishment; they go looking for him in the classroom & meet a talking portrait.

Part 12 (Rhythm) They find Ace in the Hall of Mirrors; he tries running away so they yell at a passing Deuce to stop him; in the meantime, Grim tries to escape himself. Ace makes Deuce help him catch Grim.

Part 13 Grim is swinging on a priceless, magic chandelier; Deuce hurls Ace up in the air to catch him; they end up breaking the chandelier. Crowley threatens to expel all of them unless they find a magic gemstone to fix it, so they go to the Dwarfs’ Mine to get one.

Part 14 (Rhythm) In the Silent Woods, they look inside Snow White’s cottage, then go into the mines where they find more ghosts.

Part 15 (Overblot Dwarf Battle) Ace, Deuce, and Grim all start bicker about whose fault it is that they’re in this situation; a giant overblotted monster resembling a dwarf appears and tells them to leave and that it won’t give up the stone; they all run away.

Part 16 Deuce is the only one determined to go back to get the gem; after some more bickering they all decide to go back.

Part 17 They manage to pin down the monster with Deuce’s cauldrons & grab the magic stone.

Part 18 (Overblot Dwarf Boss Battle) The monster breaks free and chases them out of the mines; they’re able to defeat it with magic; it leaves behind a black stone, which Grim realizes smells delicious so he eats it.

Part 19 Crowley didn’t actually think they’d be able to get the gem (he’d already filled out their expulsion papers), but then starts sobbing because he’s so proud his students worked together like that. He decides to let Yuu and Grim enroll together, saying they’ll be considered as one student, since Yuu is a good beast-tamer and Grim can use magic/take all the lessons that Yuu can’t. Grim receives his magic gemstone. Additionally, Crowley names Yuu a ‘prefect’ and gives them a ghost camera.

Part 20 (Opening Video) Ace, Deuce, Yuu, and Grim end the night with some more bickering & part their ways; Grim is super excited to start his new life as a student.

Episode 1

Part 01 (Disney Dream) Ace bangs on the Ramshackle Dorm’s door very late at night, wearing a large collar, declaring he’s done being in Heartslabyul.

Part 02 Ace explains he had eaten one of the tarts prepared for a party, so Riddle put this collar on him. He then decides he’s staying the night here; Deuce arrives the next morning, and they try to go apologize to Riddle so Ace can have his magic back.

Part 03 (Rhythm) In the Heartslabyul rose maze, they meet Cater, who has them help him paint the roses red.

Part 04 (Cater Battle) Ace asks where Riddle is; Cater tells him he can’t let him back inside the dorm unless he brings a tart to make up for the one he ate; he kicks them all out. But it’s time for class so they have to postpone making a tart right now.

Part 05 (Rhythm) After a few classes, Grim decides he’s done with school. Ace and Deuce only offer to help catch him if Yuu promises to buy them things from the cafeteria.

Part 06 (Upperclassmen Students Battle) At lunch, Grim gets excited about all the food available and bumps into an irritated upperclassman, making him drop his food. They get into a fight.

Part 07 Cater and Trey join them for lunch; they talk about why they follow the Queen of Hearts’ rules in Heartslabyul (it’s their tradition).

Part 08 They all discuss the other dorms; it’s revealed that this is an all-boys school; Lilia sneaks up on them when they bring up Diasomnia; Riddle appears just as Ace starts complaining about him.

Part 09 (Riddle’s Unique Magic) Riddle says he was considering removing Ace’s collar if he regreted his actions, but it’s clear that he hasn’t. Trey explains what “Unique Magic” is; he also tells them they’ll need to collect 300 chestnuts so they can bake a make-up marron tart.

Part 10 (Rhythm) Yuu and Grim run into Leona while looking for tools to pick up chestnuts; the gang peels all the nuts they collected in the kitchen.

Part 11 Deuce, Yuu, and Grim go to Mr. S’s Mystery Shop to buy some extra ingredients, since they used too much to make the crème de marron.

Part 12 (Upperclassmen Students Battle) On their way back, they bump into the upperclassmen from lunch earlier and Deuce accidentally drops the eggs they bought; he reverts into his ‘bad boy’ mode.

Part 13 (Rhythm; Deuce’s Backstory) After the upperclassmen run off, Deuce is distraught with himself for getting so heated and explains that he used to be a delinquent; they return to the kitchen and finish making the marron tarts.

Part 14 (Trey’s Unique Magic) Cater stops by to take pictures of the finished tarts; Trey uses his Unique Magic to change the flavor of their bites; Deuce joins Ace to stay the night at the Ramshackle Dorm. Meanwhile, at Heartslabyul, some students come up to Trey and Cater complaining miserably about Riddle’s strict rules.

Part 15 (Rhythm; Disney Dream; Cater’s Unique Magic) Today is the Unbirthday Party! Cater stops by the Ramshackle Dorm in the morning to get them all ready. When they get back to the rose maze, he uses his magic Split Card so they can finish painting the roses red quickly.

Part 16 At the party, Ace offers Riddle the marron tart, but there happens to be a rule against bringing marron tarts to the Unbirthday Party so Riddle starts yelling at him.

Part 17 (Trey & Cater Battle) Ace, Grim, Yuu, and Deuce are not happy with Riddle acting so strict & ungrateful about this tart; Riddle blows up and puts collars on all of them. Trey and Cater ultimately side with Riddle and kick Yuu and co. out.

Part 18 They meet Chenya in the rose maze, who encourages them to talk to Trey if they want to know more about Riddle.

Part 19 Riddle punishes more students in the lounge; Ace and co. corner Trey in the library; he tells them a little about Riddle’s backstory. Crowley appears.

Part 20 Crowley suggests that Ace challenge Riddle to a duel to take over as dorm leader. Both Ace and Deuce decide to go forward with that.

Part 21 (Riddle Battle; Disney Dream) Crowley supervises on the day of the duel; Riddle is forced to remove the collars so that they can start the battle fair and square.

Part 22 Riddle wins immediately by putting the collars back on them; Ace blows up, punches Riddle, and gives a long, angry speech about why Riddle needs to clean up his act. In turn, Riddle’s anger starts consuming him too and he threatens to impale Ace with the trees around them.

Part 23 Trey overwrites Riddle’s magic with Doodle Suit to rescue Ace from being impaled; Riddle’s anger continues to deepen.

Part 24 (Overblot Riddle Boss Battle) Riddle overblots; Ace and Deuce fight him to bring him back to his senses.

Part 25 (Riddle’s Backstory) Backstory! Riddle’s mother was overbearing and planned out every second of his life; Chenya and Trey helped Riddle sneak out to have fun a little; his mom got furious when she found out about this and banned him from seeing them again.

Part 26 Riddle wakes up; he begins crying because he didn’t agree with all the rules he enforced either and wanted to have more fun. Ace doesn’t forgive him easily and demands a redo Unbirthday Party where Riddle brings a homemade tart this time.

Part 27 Crowley and Trey take Riddle to the infirmary; Grim eats the black gem left behind by Riddle’s overblot episode.

Part 28 (Rhythm) Several days later, they successfully have another Unbirthday Party; Riddle brings out a strawberry tart he made with oyster sauce, since Trey would jokingly convince people that that was his secret ingredient; meanwhile, in Savanaclaw, Leona and Ruggie discuss a plan to take revenge on Malleus.
