ok one more thing but i do think a lot about how simple and joyful interacting with dogs is for laios. how he gets down on all fours and lets them lick his face and how he understands them in a way he doesnt understand humans. how succubus marcille had a wolf head. how the ultimate strongest monster had a wolf head. when i say dog laios i dont just mean he wants to be called a good boy (tho he does also want that) but that hes always been chasing the simplicity of interacting with his dogs, a mutual understanding that hes unable to replicate with humans. i think he would genuinely want to become one if he could

I wonder if Evan ever said anything concerning about William to Henry; maybe not seeking help the way Michael would have, but like, in passing. A child innocently answering what they did today, and William's behavior is just a footnote in the story.
Elizabeth wouldn't have. She would have been trying too hard to be perfect.
I wonder if Henry did anything in terms of not letting William look after Henry's own kids or anything like that. Was he so far in denial and trust that he put them at risk, or were the Afton kids just not worth saving?

(just to begin, I actually like Ana and I think the writers messed up her character)
So one of the most common traits or thing I see in Ana bashing fics is the she always call Eddie Edmundo and how she doesn't respect that he prefers Eddie and such (but I don't think we ever got a scene where Eddie told her not to call him that)
However sooo many people in the fandom find it cute how Tommy calls Buck "Evan" when essentially it's the same situation

The more I watch Daniel do anything, the more I realize he is completely ridden with anxiety 24/7/365 and the humor is a coping mechanism and all his mannerisms are self-soothing and it makes me feel insane.

What if Tim had always been suicidal and he was doing a lot better until his brother died. Danny was his anchor, his reason for keeping going.
Then he was recovering, finding his footing again working at The Magnus Institute, feeling like he had a reason to live again. Then Sasha’s death sent him back to a dark place. THEN he tried to escape it all but realized he was bound to the institute. Making the unknowing only just the final straw.
There’s nothing in canon to suggest that Tim is as hyper sexual as the fandom makes him out to be. But hyper sexuality can be a symptom of depression. Depression that in Tim’s case had always been there but was only worsened by trauma.
What if.

the art of silent cry is one no one should have to learn but the heirs to the noble and most ancient house of the black have it mastered.
bellatrix, the oldest, has to weep with no sound at her vanity with the news that she’d be marrying a man whom she’s met once before. a man she has no interest in marrying. she regains her stability and stares into the glass, eyes red and snot pooling horridly, she’ll do anything to become the highest praised of her kin.
andromeda, the blood-traitor, sits on the floor of her room packing her things into a small bag, readying herself to leave. it’s the middle of the night and she scares herself with change. she takes what she can fit. a change of clothes, some money, her wand, and some expensive rum. she picks up a small photo, one of her and her sisters from when they were young, naive, and happy. by the time she puts it into the bag, it’s stained with tears. when she leaves no one can hear her or her sobs for what the future holds.
narcissa, the loved, can’t feel anything the night of october 31st, 1981. her sister had returned from the mission, it was done. narcissa was supposed to go. she prepared herself to do so. but a force pushed her back. guilt? love? the past? thus she lays on the hardwood floor of her room. it doesn’t even feel like hers. they’re back, dancing and parading the manor like they won. she wailed. she shaked. the wails were mute, screams of pain through a silent film. her limp body matching her lover’s, tears numb against dull, tired cheeks, and makeup running like she so wished she could; narcissa doubts if they’d hear her even if she had been making noise.
sirius, the mistake, wishes he could be as brave as the sorting hat told him he is. he did everything he could to change. the hat told him gryffindor. he shook his head and crying whispered no. the hat silenced. the floor boards creaked as he walked to the gryffindor table, the only thing quieter than the hat were the students, mouths agape. he sat down and could feel his cousins glares from down and across the hall. people tried to talk to him, they gave up. he examined the pitcher in front of him. in him reflection he saw himself crying. where did they come from? he felt no sadness, just pain. perhaps he did feel sadness, perhaps that sadness was mourning. mourning for himself. finally the tug in his heart alerted him that he in fact was breaking. tears wept and swam across his face like constellations. when the tables were dismissed for bed was when he first looked at the people known as his forever home.
regulus, the prodigy, is lost. he feels stone beneath his feet and hands. it’s dark and cold. he isn’t panicking because of that though. he’s hyperventilating because he can’t breathe. water surrounds him. it’s pitch black. before he knows what he’s doing, he screams. water fills his lungs. good, he thinks, maybe I’ll die being known for something good. death. he’s dying. an unknown feeling consumes him. a cry from distant sources pries itself from his soul. a motionless, silent howl is all that’s left of him.

prompt where robins mom finds out about her and nancy dating and she doesent take it well
Tbh I think Robin's mom would be more concerned that her daughter is dating someone who owns guns that the fact she's dating a girl. I haven't read much of the book yet, but Robin's parents are these "domesticated hippies" as she calls them, and they seem pretty fun and nice. Her mom is introduced dancing to fleetwood mac while stoned. She tells Robin they conceived her in the back of a van. They have all these photographs (in some or which her mother is topless) showing her parents with their friends and multiple lovers because they were also polyamorous and believed in "free love". Robin also mentions they have zero tolerance for any kind of hateful talk. I have read fics in which her parents are horrible and kick her out over being a lesbian and ngl I love that kind of angst, it's very cathartic. But after reading the book I don't think I myself can write that. Richard and Melissa just seem too chill to care about those things. Mayne later in the book I see some red flags here and there but so far I think Robin's mom would be mostly accepting.
There are, however, a few things we could work on:
Robin's mom is okay with Robin being a lesbian, she just doesn't like Nancy specifically. Like I said, maybe she knows Nancy owns guns, maybe Nancy has brought guns to their house for protection and Melissa thinks that is very disrespectful. I think she'd be mostly nice to Nancy, but as soon as she leaves she will tell Robin she doesn't like her, and that she feels dissappointed Robin would chose someone who "loves violence"
She has political disagreements with Nancy's family. Idk much about USamerican politics in the 80s but my spidey sense tells me Reagan and hippies wouldn't have gotten along. Maybe Melissa is a bit confused as to why her daughter is dating someone whose parents had a vote for Reagan sign on their lawn.
She is scared for Robin. When Robin says they're "domesticated hippies", she seems to imply they left a lot of their hippie ways behind to get married and start a nuclear family. She mentions she doesn't know if they still believe in "free love". Maybe in her youth, Robin's mother wouldn't have had a problem with it, but nowadays she sees her daughter with a girl and instead of thinking "love is love!" she thinks "the world is cruel and my baby girl is going to suffer so much". I think this option is my favorite one. It could have "mother broke her daughter's legs in two, said 'it's too dangerous to walk out there, so I had to save you'" vibes. She's a middle aged adult now, she's grown and she knows the freedom she enjoyed in her youth is not an option for her Robin. She tells her to think things through. Robin is confused. About Nancy, her mother explains. I just don't want you to get hurt. Robin still doesn't understand. But mom, I'm already hurt, she says. Melissa wants her to go slower, to not make such a big decision so fast. What will people say? What will they think? What will they do to her? Actually, she's too young to decide this. She's too young to be so obsessed with sexuality. People will be disgusted. She fills Robin's heart with fear and shame and it makes her not want to hold Nancy's hand in public even they they know no one is watching. Not under the table, not in a dark cinema. She's suddenly very shy and will often avert her gaze from her lest someone sees her looking at a girl. Her mother would hate to say it, but she'd be much more comfortable if her daughter were straight.
